A large military facility where the Syria regime was stockpiling chemical weapons and missiles was bombed in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Damascus immediately blamed Israel for the attack, and Israel did not deny the allegation.

The facility is located near Masyaf, in northwestern Syria, a region still firmly under the control of Syrian President Bashar Assad's forces and their allies.

The official Syrian Arab News Agency reported:

"Israeli warplanes fired several rockets from the Lebanese airspace at 02:42 a.m. on Thursday targeting one of the Syrian military posts near Massyaf, killing two army personnel and causing material damage to the site."

Syrian military forces claimed the Israeli strike was carried out in service to ISIS and other Islamic groups trying to topple Assad.

In reality, Israel has long been concerned that non-conventional weapons being stockpiled and used by Assad's forces will also be shared with his allies in the Lebanese terrorist militia Hezbollah.

Israel has vowed to immediately target any Syrian arms transfers to Hezbollah to ensure the Lebanese group does not emerge from Syria's civil war more dangerous and deadly than ever.

For Hezbollah to take possession of chemical warheads would represent an unacceptable shift in the balance of power.

Israeli military officials declined to comment on the incident.

Israel's Seven Holy Cities ✡ "Hence That Place Was Called Be’er Sheva" - Israel365

Today's Israel Inspiration In the above verse, Avraham names the place where he entered the covenant with Abimelech Be’er Sheva. The name Be’er Sheva (באר שבע), is made up of two Hebrew words.  Be’er (באר) means well, hinting to the fact that this covenant acknowledged Avraham’s right to the water well. The second part of the word is made up of the root ש-ב-ע, which means both ‘seven’ and ‘oath.’ Thus, Be’er Sheva can mean either well of the seven or well of the oath. This double meaning hints both to the seven female sheep set aside by Avraham as verification of the oath, and to the oath taken with regard to the well itself. Today, the modern city of Be'er Sheva is a bustling center with a rapidly growing population of over 200,000. Greetings LoveMusic! listeners, and a special shout out to Hillsong fans!

Back in 2002, when I was with Derek Prince Ministries as the Director of Finance and Operations, my good wife Laurie and I had the great opportunity to travel to China on an international outreach. Sponsored by the DPM-CHin office, led by the Director, Brit Ross Paterson, about 10 of us from the USA and the UK met in Hong Kong. From there we carried into the mainland, using plane carry-on bags, Chinese Mandarin Bibles and Derek Prince books which had been translated into Chinese also. We passed them on to members of the underground church whom we met in secret.

On the long train rides from the coastal city to Beijing, and back again, I had my portable CD player going much of the time (plenty of batteries!) It was 22-hour ride each way on the train, so there was plenty of listening time.  Along with many other worship songs, I had in my CD holder Integrity Music's By Your Side, with the song "You Said" included. I had not heard this worship heart cry before, but when I did, I had it playing over and over and over again. I wrote in my daily journal how the Lord was breaking my heart for the nations. Truly it had an impact on my Christian worldwide view. 

As you listen now, hear the Lord's heart for the people of all the nations, and let Him fill your heart with His love. May you know even more this day His heart-cry for salvation to come to these. I pray that together we will do our part in impacting the world with the Gospel of the truth. 

"Ask and I'll give the nations to you Oh Lord, that's the cry of my heart. Distant shores and the islands will see Your light, as it rises on us."
