Website  |  About Us  |  Music  |  Yeshua Project  |  Living Stones  |  Contact Us Click above to see photos This newsletter is dedicated to the people of Sutherland Springs, TX who lost loved ones.  We may be persecuted in a small way but the faith of these saints is beyond inspiring.   Shalom dear Friends and Prayer Partners, While outside in my garden, a neighbor asked me about the music coming from a building across the main road.  I told him it's a Messianic congregation.  Just then two other neighbors strolled by so he proclaimed, "Look, it's a Beit Knesset (synagogue) across the street", and pointing to our home, "And a Beit Knesset at home!"  I found it remarkable that they all agreed!  To many Israelis, Jewish followers of Yeshua are considered Jewish, but to the Ministry of Interior, MOI, it's a different story... We know that our real citizenship is in Heaven, so we have peace about the recent update on our status. The MOI seems to have focused on a new target, not our precious daughter-in-law, but me, Carolyn! They are claiming that I'm supposedly no longer Jewish because I follow Yeshua.  So they told the judge they're going to try to remove my citizenship, which would mean our whole family's citizenship would be in jeopardy.  Of course we realize that this is not about us, but about trying to remove the remnant of Israel, the only people qualified to say, "Baruch Haba b'Shem Adonai" - "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the L-rd" before Yeshua returns to reign.   When Arye Deri, the head of the MOI and Shas political party was released from prison after his conviction of many crimes, he was promptly reinstalled in his previous position.  He has many people under his authority, and they have recommended that our citizenship be revoked.  Now it's up to Arye Deri to decide if it will go to court and if it does, it could possibly become a Supreme Court case.  May the Holy One of Israel visit Arye and his wife Yaffa, who are both currently under investigation for the same crimes.  Please don't hate or mock this couple or other ultra-Orthodox Jews though, but pray for their salvation and deliverance!  And thank you for your love and prayers for our family as we walk through this season... Matthew 5:11 Wedding Testimony While at a wedding, I visited with some of the groom's Orthodox family who were sitting far from the believers.  As I shared with one dear woman, she asked me to sit and explain to her what Messianic Jews really believe.  So of course I did.  She gave me her number and told me to come and visit her.  So of course I will, with G-d's help.  Then I met another couple from the family who also asked me about the faith.  At one point, the woman got up to walk with me to see the garden.  When I saw her limping, she explained that she's having surgery soon.  So I asked if I could pray for her, explaining that when we pray in Yeshua's name, we often see healings.  So she allowed me to pray for her!  I didn't see an immediate healing but I'm praying she won't need the surgery.  And she and her husband also gave me their number!   The Wittenberg Initiative This was a Kingdom of heaven conference, filled with seasoned believers who reflected Yeshua's light and glory.  What a joy to celebrate Shabbat in Germany with Holy Spirit filled Catholic priests and Lutheran pastors plus Anabaptists, who were once slaughtered by the former and all of whom at that time despised the likes of me!   Because of a move of the Spirit, Shabbat was a picture of Heaven - Jew and Gentile one in Messiah!  No one was jealous or trying to be someone they're not, but we celebrated Messiah and each other's diversity in a Kingdom way with worship, dancing, teaching and fellowship!  I heard testimonies from many demoninations and for the first time in my life I not only felt loved but also accepted and I loved and accepted them too.  In Wittenberg I found a beauty I'd never seen before in the colorful tapestry called the Body of Messiah.   Living Stones Experience Come to our Galilee home for an evening of worship, Israeli folk dancing, sharing testimonies & dinner served on our roof with a gorgeous view of the Sea of Galilee, Golan and the Jordan Valley! Encouraging Testimony from the Living Stones evening: "One of the reasons we fell in love with Israel was the stories you tell and the Israeli culture you both shared with us.  Doesn't the government realize what an asset you are for tourism?" Bridges for Peace President Receives Jerusalem Covenant Award

Rev. Rebecca J. Brimmer 'has worked tirelessly to build relationships between Christians and Jews in Israel and around the world'

November 7, 2017 ------- Rev. Rebecca J. Brimmer, International President and CEO of Bridges for Peace (BFP), last week received the Jerusalem Covenant Award from Israel365. The award was presented, along with a commemorative copy of the “Jerusalem Covenant” book, which contains the signatures of more than 150,000 Christian Zionists proclaiming they believe Jerusalem should be the eternal capital of the Jewish people and state.

The Jerusalem Covenant was bestowed on Nov. 2, as part of BFP and Israel365’s Balfour Day conference: “From Balfour to Nikki Haley: 100 Years of Christian Zionist Diplomacy."  Close to 200 people attended the event, which was meant to train BFP’s top international leadership to be ambassadors for Israel.

The “Jerusalem Covenant” was originally composed by Supreme Court justice Menachem Elon upon the 25th anniversary of Jerusalem Day in 1992 and rests today in the Knesset. Israel365 has collected over 150,000 signatures onto the Jerusalem Covenant from more than 100 nations, from Albania to Zimbabwe.

“As the head of Bridges for Peace, Becky has worked tirelessly and with a whole heart to build relationships between Christians and Jews in Israel and around the world,” Israel365 Founder and CEO Rabbi Tuly Weisz said. “Becky is an ideal representative to share this special edition of the Jerusalem Covenant, which represents a powerful display of international solidarity between the Biblical city of Jerusalem and the world.”

The last Jerusalem Covenant award was given to Deputy Minister Michael Oren by Israel365 on Jerusalem Day.

On this 99th birthday of Billy Graham, I was able to visit his boyhood home (relocated) and the Billy Graham Library here in Charlotte, North Carolina. Below are some photos from this time on the grounds, just 15 miles from our home in Pineville, North Carolina.

This Graham dairy farmhouse originally was located on Park Road South in what is now central Charlotte, relocated by Jim Bakker to Heritage USA in Fort Mill, South Carolina in the mid-1980's, and then moved again, brick by brick, to this current location off Billy Graham Parkway, near the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in west Charlotte.

It is a beautiful site, with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, headed by Billy's son Franklin Graham, next door.

Billy's wife Ruth Graham was buried here in 2007, and now also the location of the gravesites for the long associated team members, George Beverly Shea and Cliff Barrows.

"Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, and I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation" (Ps. 91:14-16).

Today, Nov. 7, 2017, my father turns 99 years of age. And thus he enters into his 100th year. I think I can speak for my entire family when I say we are all amazed ... and very thankful ... that he is still with us. My mother moved to heaven, the place Jesus called our Father's house, 10 years ago. And I, for one, never imagined Daddy would continue to live without her, much less outlive her for such a lengthy period of time. What a treasure it has been to have these last 10 years to enjoy his presence that has always included his humor, his prayers, his insights, his stories, his encouragement and his love.

But Daddy has grown very quiet in the last few months. It's as though after years of preaching the gospel, he has nothing more to add to what he has repeatedly stated more times than can be counted: "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. I will set him on high, because he has known My name. ... For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 14:6, 3:16).

The life and message of Billy Graham are so entwined with that simple gospel message, they cannot be unwound. My prayer on this, his 999th birthday, is that in the silence I will hear my own voice in a chorus of dozens ... hundreds ... thousands ... millions of other voices picking up the message and proclaiming it without compromise to a world that desperately needs to know the hope of everlasting life by coming to the Father through faith in His Son.

I can't think of a more meaningful way to celebrate Daddy's birthday than by sharing the gospel with someone else! Join me in the celebration:
