I remember as a young Christian considering the issues of Israel... Yes, God loves the place where Jesus came down and shed His Blood – Jerusalem! It was the City of David. And then there is Bethlehem, only 5 miles away, which was also called the "City of David".
What is so special about Jerusalem with God...or do we have it all wrong?
NO! WE DON'T HAVE IT ALL WRONG!
In Psalm 137:4-6, the Psalmist cries out on behalf of God's people, inspired by the Holy Spirit: "How can we sing the songs of the Lord while in a foreign land? If I forget you, Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its skill. May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not consider Jerusalem my highest joy."
We cannot and MUST NOT forget that Jerusalem to God is a big, huge DEAL! God loves this mountaintop place where Abraham offered his son Isaac as a living sacrifice, but God stopped him. On this spot stood the Temple, years later.

As riots and protests break out, there will be (and there are now) cries against those who are not more sympathetic to the surrounding nations. But remember that the reason Israel got Jerusalem back, was that she, Israel, was attacked by all the surrounding nations and in response, Israel took back Jerusalem in the 1967 war.
This week, as President Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, many of God's prophecies came true. MANY OF THEM. Below we put together some excerpts of important prophetic words for the NOW that we can be praying into as we pray for the protection of Israel, God's chosen land. Weapons Will Not Prosper Against You"
Prophesied on The Den on November 22nd, 2014:
"America, you shall be one! America, you shall stand as one! And those from the north and the south and the east and the west shall say, 'Our plans have been foiled. We did not prosper with the weapons that we sent against this nation. We did not prosper because unity began to arise from the states within America!' Because I called My people, the remnant, I called those that were called and elected for this day and for this purpose. And I can hear the sound of unity coming from this nation," says the Lord!
And new weapons that have been formed, new weapons that will come, shall be discovered before they can be used against Israel. For this is the burden of this prophet and this shall be spoken. Hear the word of the Lord:
"For today, as you bless Israel, as you endeavor to send love to Israel, My people shall receive a double portion in return. When you sow in your need, and you sow within your need, I shall bring back to you the blessing that I promised to those that would bless Israel.
"The weapons that they have formed against Israel shall be discovered before they can use it. For I will give Israel a new technology, and I will give her a new strategy, and it shall be greater than what it has now. For it shall see the plans before they can leave the ground. This is My promise to Israel, My nation," says the Lord.
This is the message which the Eternal burdened His prophet concerning Israel – the Eternal One who began existence by stretching out the sky and founding the Earth and forming the spirit deep in man. "Hear these words," says the Eternal One:
"Watch what I'm about to do. I'm going to make Jerusalem like a cup of strong alcohol to confuse all her neighboring peoples. When they lay siege to Jerusalem, Judah also will fight, and praise shall arise from the streets – not only praise for Yahweh but praise for Yahweh Yeshua. And on that day when the enemies begin to attack, I will make Jerusalem a solid stone which cannot be moved. Anyone who tries to lift her, lift the stone called Jerusalem, will only be weighed down and seriously hurt themselves," says the Lord.
"Jerusalem Will Remain Safe and Secure," Says the Lord!
"On that day, and that day is approaching now, I promise, I, the Eternal One, will confound every horse and drive every rider to madness," says the Lord. "Go Zechariah! Go Zechariah!
"I will keep a watchful eye on My people, even as I blind every war horse from every enemy nation. The people of Jerusalem cannot be beat because of the Eternal Commander of the heavenly armies, and their true God leads them. On that day, I will make the clans and the tribes of Judah a blazing pot igniting a pile of tinder, a flaming torch consuming dry bundles of wheat. They will devour all the surrounding peoples, those to the right and those to the left, but Jerusalem will remain safe and secure," says the Lord! "Go Zechariah! Go Zechariah!"
The Eternal will ensure that victory comes first to the houses of Judah so that the respect due to the family of David and the citizens of Jerusalem will not outstrip the respect owed to Judah as a whole. So Jerusalem need not boast, but neither should it fear. I'm going to say that again. Jerusalem, do not boast, but do not fear at the same time.
For when that day comes, the Eternal will protect her citizens as a shield does. He will make the weak who stumble become like David, brave in battle. The royal line of David, Yeshua, will be like God, like the special messenger of the Eternal One who goes before them in travels and in battle.
"Rest assured, I will set out to destroy all the nations who attack Jerusalem. Rest assured, I will set out to attack all the nations that attack Jerusalem, and I pledge – are you listening to Me?" God says, "Today, I pledge that I will pour out a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy on the family of David and the citizens of Jerusalem," says the Lord! (To read original word click here.)
Fortunes of Zion - America and Jerusalem
Excerpts Prophesied on February 22, 2014 – Prophetic Alert:
"I have searched for a man and a woman who would stand in the Oval Office and pray and call for the restoration of the fortunes of Zion. I have looked for a man who would pray for the restoration of the fortunes of Zion. Therefore, if you hear My heart," says the Lord, "today, I will take you on a journey.
"I will first take you to Israel, whom they would give Jerusalem to his enemies. Why would they give half of Jerusalem away? That's what I've done by His Spirit to tell you that a season of war cannot remain a season of war. At Israel's Birthday in 2018
"I was able to tear down the wall through Ronald Reagan, and the curtain, but there are two more walls that will come down. And in 2018, at the celebration of Israel's birthday, there shall be an outpouring of My Spirit in Israel, like it has not had since the days of David and the days of Jesus. You listen to Me, everybody.

The Shed Blood of Jesus in Israel
Israel may be tiny in the natural but it is absolutely huge in the matrix of the spirit world. Every global kingdom assignment begins with a proper reckoning of the preeminent place of Jerusalem and Israel. Every major, false doctrine starts with diminishing natural Israel and natural Jerusalem ("Replacement Theology" etc.). Every antichrist spirit running among the nations begins with antisemitism at its core. For clarity's sake, while it is not wrong to want Palestinians to be properly treated, any passion towards Israel giving up land or being furthermore diminished is influenced by an antichrist spirit, and that's whether you are a "Christian" or not.
Furthermore, it reveals a basic dishonoring of God and His clearly-stated intentions towards Israel and Jerusalem as established both in the Old and New Testaments. Jerusalem is listed 669 times in the Hebrew Bible and is also further related to as "the place that God will choose". We see the passion of the Psalmist where he says:
If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its skill. May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, If I do not consider Jerusalem my highest joy. Psalm 137:5-6.
For those who would diminish Jerusalem to "Old Testament" importance, remember that this is the very location that Jesus Christ was crucified. I remember my first time in Jerusalem, being aware of the weight of the place where the God of the whole universe decided to allow His Blood to be shed for the salvation of the world. The very idea that God could shed His literal Blood in a literal place and that that literal place could then descend into being only incidentally relevant is beyond comprehension.
There is a reason Jerusalem and its destruction is the desire of every principality. Destruction of Jerusalem destroys the master plan, and it is the master plan of our God that will guarantee Jerusalem's future. There is also a guarantee that Jerusalem will ultimately be a place that reveals the salvation of God to the whole world—that guarantee is the spilled Blood of Jesus. You cannot understand the significance of the Blood of Jesus if you do not know how to also apply it to the geographical place He willingly shed it.
For more clarity, it is almost insanity to believe that the Blood of Jesus is powerful enough to give us access into Heaven despite our sins, and not believe it is powerful enough to spiritually secure the city and country where it was shed. Jesus does not return, nor does any great end-time objective take place without Jerusalem and Israel being central to it. To not know that is to be in deception and to remain almost willfully so. The Scripture is too clear on that and the Holy Spirit is too insistent on that. We will no longer get a "pass" on blindness to this reality. (Photo via Unsplash)
Besides the above passage let me quote out of Isaiah 62: For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not keep quiet, till her salvation shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. Is. 62:1
I have posted watchman on your walls, O Jerusalem: they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give Him no rest till He establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. Is. 62:6-7
Israel Betrayed But God Won't Be Played
It is still almost surreal the level of betrayal that the Obama administration exhibited in its instigation of the UN vote against Israel. The pressuring of nations such as Ukraine to vote against Israel, and the intentional adding of language that includes Jerusalem itself— essentially making it illegal for Israel to go to the Western Wall—and then the attempt to pretend to look passive in the process...
Donald Trump as President will be the best friend to Israel that they have ever had. He will attempt to be fair to the Palestinians and try to negotiate a reasonable peace treaty, and the plight of the Palestinians is very important. However, Trump is a quick discerner of core intent and he will discover that those who represent the Palestinian people are driven by the unreasonable hatred of a demonic principality and have no real desire for peace or compromise.
President Trump will then expose their hypocrisy and severely turn on them. Because Trump has Jewish family and friends who do see things clearly in Israel, he will not be subject to the deception most world leaders fall under. No country on the earth has been more unfairly and unjustly treated by the nations over the last couple of decades than Israel, and there is a now a larger spiritual bill to pay. The nations that have unjustly judged Israel are presently under limited grace for terrorism and the ones that just voted against Israel have just caused another decrease in grace over their nations.
Nations of the World: Don't Mess With Israel!
This is an ongoing message to world leaders. Terrorism is now a "world problem" because the nations of the world have been unjust towards Israel in how they dealt with neighbors and citizens who wanted Israel destroyed. Now these nations have been flocking to Israel for insight and intelligence on how to defend themselves. Quite ironic...
Former Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez publicly cursed Israel "from the depths of my intestines" and the next day began to feel intense intestinal pains that became a supremely rare cancer that took him out. In fact, 4 other South American leaders who shared Chavez's views developed cancer in the same year, yet no one learned the lesson but instead blamed "the CIA" for spraying them with something that caused cancer. While Israel remains, Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Khaddafi and even Ahmadinejad (just to name a few) are either dead or gone. Ahmadinejad is attempting to come back (whether they know it or not), but if he does it will be to his final undoing. Bottom line, if you are reading this and have any authority or influence in the government of any nation don't get caught on the wrong end of the Israel equation...
...I found a prophetic timetable I wrote out in 2004. In that timetable, I listed the years 2017, 2018, and 2019 as 3 years where Israel would face great challenges but would experience even greater breakthroughs. Today I saw walls of protection going up around the United States of America. I heard the Lord say, "I have given the country the Key of David."

A Vision of Jerusalem

I heard the Lord say, "This is a door of blessing for America. I have given them the key to victory in the Middle East. They shall open the door and do what others were afraid to."
I saw this Key open the door and a flood of blessing came down. I heard the Lord say that: "Two blessings will come to America when the US moves its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem."
First, the Lord will pour out a blessing over the United States dollar, it will soar to new heights; and secondly I saw the name David come out from the door and the Lord said, "There will come a man like David from the United States – a military man who will have a great mind."
