Standing in support of Israel, Jews, and believers in all the nations, in the name of Jesus (Yeshua). Sharing biblical truth, encouragement, news and prophecy.
First of all, let me thank you for reading my messages! The last two words I sent out a few weeks ago through email had almost 40% "opens", which means 40% of those who are on the list actually did open it and not simply delete it from their In Box. So thank you!
Just before I head north to the family reunions, I wanted to send these ones out. With the many hours on the road (18 highway hours one way), I am not sure when the next mailing would go out, so please take time to read these. I trust they will be an encouragement to you.
Uniqueness speaks of hairdos, t-shirts, and such things that we add to the uniqueness of who the Lord has made us. Each has a specialty no one else can duplicate.
Ever get tired of all the ones who "know it all" and are a critic of everyone and everything? I know I do. So I wrote about it - Be Rid of Them All
Still somewhat hot off the press is my latest book (#18) Hope - Founded in the Solid Rock which came out in June. I am sure you could use a bit more hope in your life. These messages may just add to your inspiration. I hope (pun intended) that you get a copy!
“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.” (Psalms 139:14, NKJV)
People are indeed unique, and each person brings something especially different into the lives of those around them. Because we are all created in the image of God, His vastness and glory in creation knows no bounds. And thus each one of us, found throughout every tribe and nation, has a specialty about them that only they can bring to this world to share. This truly is amazing.
Working at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina, specifically in the gift shop called Ruth’s Attic (after Billy’s wife Ruth) has given me a real opportunity to observe people, as often I stand behind one of the three cash registers to handle the product being purchased by the visitors. From foreign countries, from around the city of Charlotte, from all the states of the USA they come to see a glimpse into the life of the one who was known by many as the “World’s Pastor” during his 60 years of ministry, Billy Graham.
Whether they come alone, with a family or family reunion, in a church group, or as part of the many youth groups, school or camp, (we had over 120 kids come through one day this week alone), it really is a joy to see the many aspects, and creative ways, that these arrive for the “Journey of Faith” tour, walk through Billy’s youth home, or pay their respects at the gravesites.
I am convinced that in addition to the attire each decorates themselves with – be it in a fancy outing dress, a sports coat and tie, t-shirt and shorts – you name it, they show up in it. I am still deciding which t-shirt style is the most represented overall, such as the ones wearing their favorite sports team logo, the college logo of choice, or the ones donning a wide variety of sayings and images splashed across both front and back. The tally is ongoing. (Be sure to read the rest: Uniqueness)
“You are not to curse God, and you are not to curse a leader of your people.” (Exodus 22:27, Complete Jewish Bible)
Amazing isn’t it how so many seem to know it all, especially when it comes to speaking out against those in leadership. They criticize our President for every move he makes; they rail at those who are called to serve in protection of our neighborhoods and cities; they decry the pastor for speaking a word that they simply can’t agree with because it stepped on their toes. Every office and place of employment has one or two who know it all, even about running the business they receive their income from, without knowing all the facts.
“Be rid of them all!” often seems to be the outrageous outcry from the masses, marching in every city in bellowing pride and prejudice. With angry words, evil deeds and ammo that kills both soul and body, they shoot the backs of those given the role of leading themselves and others.
How foolish we have become when we curse those whom the Lord has put in power to govern and lead. Yes, we have become very foolish.
If you say you believe the Bible, and adhere to its words, then the verse about cursing our leaders should be taken seriously. Are we so high-minded to think that the eternal God who had those words written were only for the Old Testament times? I think not.
Regretfully, while acknowledging my own sin in times past, I have had my moments of speaking out against a boss, a pastor, an elected official, and even the one who wrote my speeding ticket. Out of my own arrogance and lack of respect, more than once have I spoken against those whom I should have had more appreciation and honor towards. But in my own foolishness I didn’t. I can see now where it had come back to bite me, when I was then in positions of leadership myself. (Be sure to read the rest: Be Rid of Them All)
It would be nice if you could run down to the local grocery store and buy a package of hope. After all, don’t we find we need it every day? A few good helpings daily sure would be nice.
It is not quite that simple to get, but hope is certainly possible to obtain, and keep. The way I have found hope is by believing the promises of the Lord Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach, as put forth truthfully in the Bible. Through the centuries, the words written in the Word have proven accurate and life-changing in the very ones who have chosen to believe. I include myself among them.
The daily news will get you discouraged. The bank statement and monthly bills which come by mail or smart phone will drain you of your pursuit of happiness. One minute you are “up”. The next minute you hit a wall. What is it that keeps us pressing on to accomplish the good in life? Family and friends can be a good source to rely on, but even then those relationships can falter. We need more.
We need hope in our lives.
I would be graceful if you would support Love For His People by buying a copy for yourself, and one for a friend as a gift. (Birthdays and such!)
Be blessed, with the shalom (peace) and ahava (love) of the Lord.

"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me." Isaiah 6:8
Luke 10:1-9, "After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you."
Prophet Isaiah had the rare privilege of having a vision where he witnessed what was going on in the palace of the Almighty God (Isaiah 6:1-8). The setting he observed was a kind of conference with the hosts of heaven in attendance. God threw a simple question to the multitudes present, which should ordinarily not be much of a challenge to them.
The Lord asked, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” The seemingly little hesitation that followed God’s question before Isaiah responded was not an act of rebellion by angels or the host of heaven; rather, there was hesitation because this question was not meant for them.
If angel were supposed to take up the assignment, it would have come as a command instead of a question. The privilege of disseminating the good news of the kingdom and propagating the gospel has been expressly assigned to human beings by God. the term ‘evangelism’ therefore refers to spreading the gospel, and the one doing this work is called an ‘evangelist’.
The duty of an evangelist is to function as spokesperson for the Church in proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. Just as God was searching for someone to take up the assignment in today’s memory verse, He is still searching for faithful people who will relentlessly participate in spreading the gospel today. Will you say yes to him?
The need for evangelists today is further amplified by these words of the Lord in Luke 10:2b:
“The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”
The gospel is needed more than ever before in this world of sin, where immorality pervades everywhere and the pursuit of worldly pleasures is taking over the Church of God. god expects us to walk worthy of our calling and election as children of God (Ephesians 4:1-12). He has endowed each individual in the body of Christ with gifts to function in at least one of several offices, as apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors and teachers.
Therefore, it is not only pastors and altar ministers that are called to work in God’s vineyard. Everyone who is genuinely born again is called to do the work of an evangelist by spreading the good news of the gospel all over the world (2 Timothy 4:5). Understanding this fact is very necessary if we desire to please God, fulfill our purpose on earth and receive the best from God. winning lost souls and making them disciples is the whole essence of Christianity.
How many souls have you won to Christ this year? Open your mouth and allow God to fill it with words to those that are perishing.
May God bless you all as you are reading this message.

The Lord brought forth this word on Sunday (July 1, 2018). Keith Pierce quoted Psalm 5:12, "For You, Lord, will bless the righteous; You will surround him with favor like a shield." If there is one part of the armor that is the most important to understand, it is the shield of faith. The shield of faith quenches all the fiery darts of the enemy (Eph. 6:16).
His Shield of Favor Surrounds Us!
Keith actually saw shields hanging over the top of God's people. He began to shout: "Pull those shields down and let them surround you. May the shield of faith come into place so you press through into a new favor!"
One of the most important things a Christian can learn is the reality of spiritual warfare. When you were born again, you were born onto a battlefield. Your choice is not whether you want to go to war, for war has been declared against you! Your only choice is whether you want to get trampled by the enemy, or learn to fight and win! At issue in this battle are the promises of God. Peter says that God has given us His "precious and magnificent promises" that through them we can become partakers of the divine nature (2 Pet. 1:4).
God has given us promises that relate to every area of life. He has promised us abundant provision. He's promised us healing. He has promised great blessings in every area. But when you open your Bible and begin to claim these promises, you discover you are in a battle! When you say, "I want to come into a new place in the Lord! I want to move forward to obtain the promise!" Satan will try to stop you. That's what the battle is all about. Satan's goal is to frighten and discourage you, to make you to turn back and not press on in the Lord.
As the apostle Paul thought about our struggle against Satan, he realized that God has given us a shield like that. It is a shield of faith. When Paul talks about our shield in Ephesians 6:16, he uses the word for the Roman battle shield. The word is thureos, and it means a "door-shaped shield." (The Greek word for door is thurs) The thureos was a large, rectangular shield about five feet high and three feet wide. It was also called a castle shield. If you were a warrior holding this shield in front of you, you carried your own portable fortress. You had a castle you could take with you wherever you went and be protected against the enemy.
It is interesting to study how this shield is made. The thureos was so large that, if made of solid wood or metal, it would have been difficult to carry. To construct a thureos, the Romans began with a wooden framework. Over that framework, they fastened seven layers of tough leather from the skin of a bull or a calf. They built up these layers until the shield was four or five inches thick and nailed the layers securely in place. As the soldiers got ready to go into battle, they could dip the shield in a nearby river to saturate it with water so it would not only stop an arrow, it would quench the fire.
Many Christians think they are battling for their needs. They say, "I'm in a spiritual warfare to break through for financial provision! I'm warring in prayer for a new job ... for salvation of a loved one ... for physical healing ... and so on." That is not what we are battling for. If you think you are in warfare for healing, finances or any other need, you do not understand the battle. Our battle is not for any of those needs. Our battle is only for one thing, and that is faith. The Word of God tells us that faith is the one essential. If you have faith, nothing is impossible, nothing is withheld. If you can get in faith and stay in faith, all the rest will come. All things are possible if you believe. So when you have a need for finances, health or anything else, your battle is to find a way to stand in faith. Let me say that again: no matter what we need, if we can get in faith and stay in faith, every need will be met. Our battle is to stay in faith.
Key Prophecy
"I have not provided you a shield for peacetime. Rather, the shield coming down over you will enable you to forge ahead. No arrow or weapon forged against you will prosper or penetrate through this shield of favor. When you reach up to grab this shield, you come into agreement and alignment with the portion of favor for this season that you didn't need in the last one. Over nations, there are now shields of favor in alignment for God's kingdom people to battle in a way they have not previously battled. You war from the place of knowing that you have overcome, so put your shield of favor on with purpose and intent. Know that as the King of kings, I have established you as a weapon of favor in the midst of your enemies. Now clear the land with that favor.
"You've grown tired in your journey, but I have energy you know not of. I am ready to energize you while it's still day, and you will rise up and see through the night ahead. There is supernatural energy for you to go up and go through the river. Some of you have gotten in the river and become waterlogged, but now there is energy for you to rise up and get to the other side. Get up out of the water and walk across it. I am loosing buoyant faith in My people! Get ready, for you're about to move in ways you've never moved before. I am about to do something that unites My people in a supernatural way and that causes great shifts throughout the earth.
"You've been working covertly. In the covert working you've been doing, I have been training you in ways you've never been trained before. What was in the dark I am now bringing into the light. What you were gaining in the dark will now form keys as you move forward. No more will you be held back from entering in and bringing change into this land. This is a time that nations are realigning, and I am calling you up and calling you out. You will walk in change in days ahead and produce change where you walk.
"You have stayed in the lowlands until familiarity occurred. However, you looked again and saw the mountaintop one more time. You decided to leave the low place you were in and climb and climb and climb again. I have called you to the mountain top, created a new cloud and am addressing you by name. Determine to come up and exchange the lowlands for the high place. What was once a pit is becoming a palace. You will see clearly that it's not how long it takes to journey up to the mountain, but your willingness to set your feet in motion and come up."
