Peace through Jesus in the face of conflict - ONE FOR ISRAEL

SHALOM! "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart has imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him". (1 Corinthians 2:9) The reality on the ground in Israel is very difficult at the moment, but we are headed to an eternal home that will be far better than we could ever imagine. And we are going to take as many people with us as we can! One of the things we look forward to is every nation, tribe and tongue worshiping Yeshua (Jesus) together in unity. Sometimes we get a little glimpse of that aspect of heaven, even in the midst of conflict. Here is a taste of our worship here at the Bible college... Dr. Erez Soref, President of ONE FOR ISRAEL  Give thanks in ALL circumstances There is so much to be grateful for, even as the news here in Israel and around the world is so devastating. As our American friends get ready for the feast of Thanksgiving this Thursday, it's a good reminder for us all to focus on the amazing blessings God gives us. We are grateful to God for all He has done for us at ONE FOR ISRAEL recently. We asked you to pray, and God answered! We asked you to pray for Israelis to sign up for courses at our Bible college, and we have seen record numbers enrolled this year. Also, we asked you to pray for our brothers and sisters in Gaza and Muslim countries who are coming to faith and are in significant danger... and God has answered your prayers in amazing ways. One miracle happened in the exact week we asked you to pray! We thank God for the harvest he is bringing in among Jews and Arabs at this important time in history.  Speaking of harvest time, did you know the feast of Thanksgiving is similar in many ways to the harvest gathering festival of Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles? All too often, we compare ourselves to others and don't see the unique gifts and qualities God gave just to us, individually.

Just read this by Elaine:

Although you may be attracted to someone's charisma, magnetism and the way they minister, Jesus has created you uniquely and wants to use you with your own personality, mannerisms and makeup. The gift that the Lord has for you is befitting to your personal characteristics. Don't try to be someone that you were not created to be, but just be a submissive, yielded vessel and watch what the Lord will do.

A Unique Piece of the Puzzle

Many of you are having what I call a spiritual identity crisis by not knowing what your gifts and callings are. You are trying to find your place in the Body of Christ. It is comparable to the structure of a jigsaw puzzle. You know that you are a piece of this puzzle, but you are searching to see where you fit in. There are also those of you who have been watching ministers for some time now and you covet their anointing. There is nothing wrong with admiring a minister's gift and character, but the Lord has a unique ministry and anointing for each one of us.

Although you may be attracted to someone's charisma, magnetism and the way they minister, Jesus has created you uniquely and wants to use you with your own personality, mannerisms and makeup.

The gift that the Lord has for you is befitting to your personal characteristics. Don't try to be someone that you were not created to be, but just be a submissive, yielded vessel and watch what the Lord will do.

The apostle Paul tells us to desire spiritual gifts and this should be natural for every Believer. The Lord has created each one of us to be used with a particular presentation, teaching, writing or prophetic word. Each one of us has been created for a purpose. He has created you for such a time as this, just the way that you are, and wants to use you just the same. He has a commission for you that only you can fulfill.

Jesus delights in using ordinary people to do extraordinary things for His glory.

1 Corinthians 14:1, "Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy."

Designed to Be a Survivor and a Thriver

The Lord says, "I have designed you not only to survive, but to thrive in the environment in which you have been created. You have been strategically placed where you are, and have been uniquely designed for My specific plan for your life. You have been born for this time and season in which you are living. It is no accident that you were born on a particular day, month and year, created with a distinct height, weight and gender. Even your personality has been engrafted into My master plan for your life.

 "Just as I have equipped and called the prophets of old to do great works, I am also equipping you for great exploits in the days ahead. You have been chosen to have visitations with the King of kings. You have been created to have encounters in the Kingdom of Heaven. Take your focus off your natural situations and focus on spiritual realities. Do not say that these times are too difficult to survive, because I have created you to be a survivor.

"Release your old ways of thinking and the mindsets that have kept you from advancing. Do not fear what lies ahead because you have been created in My image. Do not allow the enemy to divert your attention off your purpose and My plan for your life. You are a threat to the enemy, not by who you are, but by what you carry. I have placed My anointing on the inside of you in which there is no competition with the kingdom of darkness. I have strategically designed you with a purpose, plan and a destiny for greater works," says the Lord.

Psalm 139:13- 16, "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them."
