Reconnections. They are Happening. - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

Reconnections. They are Happening.

Steve Martin

“Therefore, say that Adonai Elohim says this: ‘True, I removed them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries; nevertheless, I have been a little sanctuary for them in the countries to which they have gone.’ Therefore, say that Adonai Elohim says this: ‘“I will gather you from the peoples and collect you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give the land of Isra’el to you.”  (Ezekiel 11:16-18, Complete Jewish Bible)

In these last days (which I firmly believe we are in) the Lord Himself is bringing back His people from all over the world, those who have been living outside of Israel, the Diaspora, to their promised land. It is known as aliyah. Jews are returning to that which is rightfully theirs.

Our ministry, Love For His People, is a strong supporter of this movement, this regathering.

The Bible is clear about how the Almighty God fulfills His purposes and plans. If you want to know what He is doing in the Church, the Body of Christ, then watch what He is doing in and for Israel. As He brings His people back together there, to serve and fulfill His end-time prophetic words, so too He is bringing back His broken body, those who also have been scattered, the Church here on earth.

For a time, these two actions on His part may have seemed far apart, with no connections between them, but now we can truly see them as one. The overall big plan.

To the Jewish people, the Lord God of Israel had His prophets proclaim this day we are now seeing, several centuries before. “Again He said to me, "Prophesy over these bones and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.' "Thus says the Lord God to these bones, 'Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life. 'I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin and put breath in you that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the Lord.'" (Ezekiel 37:4-6, NASU)

The Jews are coming home. Open your eyes and see it being manifested right before us.

He is reconnecting these that have been separated over these many, many years. The Lord is the main Reconnector. From the first century, when the scattering occurred in 70 A.D. from Jerusalem, Israel, through our time we are now living in, nothing anymore will keep His broken body from coming back together.

Watching the Jews return to Israel is an awesome scene. Knowing many there that have already is even better.

So too it is so with believing Gentiles. I see it happening. I see the Lord, as if conducting a very large symphony, orchestrating the move of this person and that person, from all nations of the world, being joined back to the Life Source, bringing about His end of days plans that were long ago prophesied.

As it is happening in Israel, so too the Lord is bringing back His saved ones who once had fellowship together – in churches, congregations, small groups, whatever. I see Him reconnecting lost friends and families, regathering them as before.  His heart is to rescue, deliver, restore, and re-join the arms, the legs, the feet, the entire body, back to the Head, Who is Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach. Once separated, now together again.

Thus, the One New Man, believing Jews and Gentiles together, will be raised up and become as one. His one Body of Messiah is being restored.

“Christ brought us together through his death on the Cross. The Cross got us to embrace, and that was the end of the hostility. Christ came and preached peace to you outsiders and peace to us insiders. He treated us as equals, and so made us equals. Through him we both share the same Spirit and have equal access to the Father.

That's plain enough, isn't it? You're no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country. You're no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home. He's using us all — irrespective of how we got here — in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he's using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day — a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.” (Ephesians 2:16-22, THE MESSAGE)

My long-time prayer has been to see former friends and families joined back together in true fellowship. Where once had been hurt and break-up, causing the dismembership of churches and relationships, our loving God is restoring, renewing, reclaiming, and reconnecting.

My heart is excited as I see long-time friends, even from 20 years ago, rejoining in the local churches, to once again serve together in harmony, friendship, and having active “Jesus” life that our Father has so longed to see. He is sending His Holy Spirit among the ones once off wandering, to bring them back together again. It is an awesome time to see and experience. He is an Awesome God Whom we serve.

If you had been, and still are, separated from that which once gave you life, ask Him again for the spiritual healing in your heart, and renewing in your broken spirit. He will restore you. He will reconnect you. That is His heart, and He wants to see you brought back into the fold.

We welcome you, be ye Jew or Gentile. This is the reconnection time all over the earth. Come back. Get reconnected.

Shalom and ahava (peace and love in Hebrew).

Jewish Evangelist Who Preached Yeshua During the Holocaust - Charles Gardner ISRAEL TODAY

Jewish Evangelist Who Preached Yeshua During the Holocaust

Friday, January 25, 2019 |  Charles Gardner ISRAEL TODAY
With the annual Holocaust Memorial Day in view, it is worth being reminded not only of how many perished, but also of those who escaped the jaws of Nazism – often miraculously.
It is a little known fact that in spite of terrible persecution in Eastern Europe, thousands of Jewish people were very open to the message of Jesus. In fact, research is currently being undertaken on the so-called ‘Messianic’ believers who died in the Shoah.
Among those who experienced miraculous deliverance from the death camps was Jakob Jocz, a Lithuanian-born third generation follower of Yeshua who became an evangelist to the Jews of Poland under the auspices of CMJ (the Church’s Ministry among Jewish people), a British-based international society already reaping a plentiful harvest of souls throughout Europe and North Africa by the 1930s.
Such was the response to their work that the Warsaw branch CMJ chief Martin Parsons expressed the need for over 700 staff rather than the mere ten suggested at the time.
Jocz was sent to Birkenhead, near Liverpool, to train for Anglican ordination, and when he returned to Poland, he wrote: “In spite of anti-Semitism and increasing hatred, the Jews met us in many places with an open mind and with great readiness to hear the gospel.”
He added: “Today when the cross is being twisted into a swastika…Jewish men and women flock into the mission halls to hear and to learn about the wonderful Saviour.”
In May 1939, he received an urgent call to England to replace the main speaker of the Church Missionary Society’s annual summer conference, who was unavailable due to illness.
In a recent research paper The Rev Dr Jakob Jocz, Dr Theresa Newell writes: “This was indeed a miraculous deliverance as members of his family died at the hands of the Nazis soon afterwards…” Jakob’s father Bazyli was betrayed to the Gestapo and shot to death.
The family’s story has something of a Fiddler on the Roof ring to it. Jakob’s grandfather, Johanan Don, was the local milkman in his shtetl (village) who first encountered the good news of Jesus when seeking medical help for his teenage daughter Hannah (Jakob’s mother) who had been crippled in a fall.
The doctor was a Jewish believer and gave Johanan a Hebrew New Testament. He subsequently became a disciple, but died soon afterwards.
In order to make ends meet, his widow Sarah took in a boarder, a young rabbinic student named Bazyli Jocz. When he read Isaiah 53, he asked his teacher, ‘Who is the prophet speaking about?’ It was of course a situation very reminiscent of the Ethiopian eunuch’s conversion in the Book of Acts (chapter 8). But the teacher was no evangelist, instead hitting him over the head and calling him a ‘detestable Gentile’ for asking such a ‘foolish’ question.
Bazyli was shocked, but undeterred, and after consulting the same doctor who had pointed Johanan in the right direction, he too became a believer.
He duly married Hannah, and Jakob was born in 1906. He became a noted evangelist and theologian whose writings represent a rich legacy of inspiration and encouragement for Christians – all called to preach the gospel to Jews.
As the Third Reich stormed across Europe, he wrote a booklet appealing to churches to speak out against the persecution of his people. As an Anglican bishop pointed out in the foreword, “he rightly calls attention to apathy in the church on the subject of missionary effort amongst the Jews.”
Indeed, he challenged the church to become ‘missional’ as its raison d’etre and to remember the call in that mission is “to the Jew first” (Romans 1.16).
If the church has no gospel for the Jews, he believed, it has no gospel for the world. He had total confidence in the authority of Scripture and stood on the premise that “loyalty to Jesus Christ is the ultimate test of the disciple,” adding: “Commitment to Jesus Christ makes universalism (the idea that all roads lead to God) impossible.”
He was highly critical of Rabbinic Judaism, lamenting that “making Torah into a religion robbed it of life” and saying that the removal of the sacrificial system (following the destruction of the Temple in AD 70) without their acceptance of the “once and for all times sacrifice” of Jesus led Judaism to a preoccupation with the study of the law. The irony of this, of course, is that the law was anchored in the fact that “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin”. (Leviticus 17.11)
One of his theses was that the early church was much closer to the Old Testament than Rabbinic Judaism is today. And he advocated Jewish believers to fulfill the prophetic call to take the gospel to all nations.
Jakob certainly practiced what he preached. It is estimated that, through outreach efforts like his, there were as many as 100,000 Jewish believers in Yeshua by the time war broke out in 1939, many of whom would no doubt have shared the fate of their brethren in the concentration camps but who would also no doubt have shared the life-giving gospel of their Saviour.

John Paul Jackson Came to Me in a Dream and Told Me This Prophetic Failure Must Be Fixed - Loren Sandford, Charisma News

John Paul Jackson Came to Me in a Dream
and Told Me This Prophetic Failure Must Be Fixed
- Loren Sandford, Charisma News

Jan. 24, 2019 Charisma News

During an appearance on the Jim Bakker Show, Loren Sanford—author and pastor of New Song Fellowship—told Jim and Lori Bakker that he had a prophetic dream in which his old friend John Paul Jackson visited him. Sanford says Jackson was crying and brokenhearted because "There were things that were off in the prophetic world that he could no longer fix."
Sanford said he took away an important mandate from his dream of Jackson: The church must get better at holding people accountable for inaccurate prophetic words.
"We have a crisis of credibility in this country right now in the body of Christ," Sanford says. "Where prophetic ministry is concerned, we've had things that didn't come to pass. Too many things. Big things."
Watch the full video to discover the three mandates Sanford has for the church in 2019.

Stunned by NY's Late-Term Abortion Law? Well, Prepare to Be Stunned Again - CBN News Crystal Woodall,Benjamin Gill

Stunned by NY's Late-Term Abortion Law?
Well, Prepare to Be Stunned Again

01-25-2019

CBN News Crystal Woodall,
As heinous as critics find New York's decision to legalize abortion up until the day of birth, former Planned Parenthood clinic director turned pro-life advocate Abby Johnson warns this is nothing new. It's a much bigger issue than most people realize.
The controversial Reproductive Health Act, which was signed into law Tuesday by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), does away with restrictions on abortion past 24 weeks. Given the state's track record on reproductive issues, Johnson says the news comes as no surprise to her.
"New York is already known as the nation's abortion capital, so I don't think that's going to change with this new law," she recently told CBN News.
However, in a wake-up call to pro-life Americans, Johnson notes that similar late-term abortion scenarios have long been unfolding across the United States.
"I know that many are disheartened by the New York vote to legalize abortion through birth, but let me be clear," she writes in a Facebook post. "This is already happening in almost a dozen other states. THIS IS NOT NEW. Babies have been aborted through birth for quite some time now. New York has now just been added to the list."
Johnson also predicts that abortion doctors in other parts of the country may soon be relocating to The Empire State. "I think that what will happen is that a lot of these late-term abortion providers are going to be now seeking practices in New York so that they can perform late-term abortions without any penalty," she said.
How Widespread is Late-Term Abortion?
The Guttmacher Institute reports that while most states restrict later-term abortions, many of those restrictions have been struck down – mostly because they don't contain a health exception.
And according to the Kaiser Family Foundation, the following states don't have any prohibitions on abortion later in pregnancy:  Alaska, Colorado, District of Colombia, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, and Vermont.
In addition, 24 other states make an exception, allowing late-term abortions for the sake of the mother's general health. Pro-life advocates contend that the generic "health" exception essentially allows abortion-on-demand, saying late-term abortions can be allowed in any states that have a generic exception for the health of the mother.
Faithwire's Will Maule explains, "Effectively, abortion will be available 'on demand' up until birth — if the woman wants to terminate her fully-formed child because she claims it is too much for her to deal with financially, emotionally or otherwise, she will be allowed to do so."
Other states from the KFF list make it clear that the mother's life or "physical health" must be at risk to allow a late-term abortion, which seems to be proof of that pro-life claim regarding the general "health" exception.
What exactly is late-term abortion? Christian author and speaker Lisa Bevere offers this heartbreaking description:
And Johnson offers this rebuttal to the health argument that pro-choice advocates make for late-term abortion.
The Broader Nationwide Battle Over Abortion
Meanwhile, in yet another blow to the pro-life cause, a district court judge ruled Tuesday that Iowa's pro-life "fetal heartbeat" law is unconstitutional and may not be enforced. The law would ban abortions once a baby's heartbeat is detected, which can happen as early as six weeks into gestation.
Many abortion advocates are hoping developments like the ones in New York and Iowa are a sign that 2019 will be a watershed year in what they view as the fight for women's 'reproductive health.'
"This is a time where women are feeling they have some political power. This is not a foregone conclusion, but there's no time to stand on the sidelines anymore," the Pacific Standard quoted Julie McClain Downey, senior director of campaign communications at the pro-abortion Emily's List.
Johnson, however, argues there has never been a better time to advance the cause of the unborn – and perhaps ultimately overturn Roe v. Wade.
"I think it is the right time to take a personhood or heartbeat bill to the Supreme Court. And so that's sort of the hope – that a bill will be passed in a state that the pro-choice groups (Planned Parenthood, NARAL, NAF) will then challenge the state law and then take it to the Supreme Court," she told CBN News.
"And then, hopefully, the Supreme Court would hear that case and would then overturn Roe v. Wade and would allow states to make the decision whether or not they want abortion in their own state," she said.
That's precisely the reason Cuomo and New York Democrats gave for expanding abortion rights and adding them into New York law. They say Roe v. Wade could be overturned soon, which would then leave the future of abortion rights in the hands of the individual states. So they want to enshrine abortion into New York's state constitution next to ensure that abortion will always be legal in New York, even late-term abortions up until the point of birth.
