INTRODUCTION

It is time to act, for that which we have been anticipating and waiting for so long is now upon us.

Yes, the Lord God Almighty, the One seated on His heavenly throne, had His Hebrew prophets speak centuries ago to His people of this time.

So, what is happening that you and me need to be so observant of?

The nation of Israel was rebirth in 1948.

The city of Jerusalem was united in 1967.

The Holy Spirit has been poured out on the nations, as signs and wonders reveal His power and glory in our time.

The One New Man is coming together, as Jews and Gentiles, believers in Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach, unite.

And Jews from around the world are returning to the promised land, Israel, making Aliyah. Prophesied through Jeremiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and more…they are coming home by the thousands as it is becoming a priority for them, prompt by the Lord God of Israel Himself.

Yes, it is time. It is time to act.

Right at the start, I want to say I really appreciate our pastor, Dr. Peter Wyns, of Antioch International Church in Fort Mill, South Carolina. It is TIME for believers, and especially pastors and those who love our country, to stand up and stand against the forces seeking to destroy us from within, and without. We can’t wait until tomorrow. Put yourself up into your scabbard, rest and be still! How can it be quiet, seeing the Lord has given it a charge against Ashkelon and against the seashore? There He has appointed it.” Jeremiah 47:6-7, NKJV At the beginning of the Sunday morning gathering on August 9, 2020 at Antioch International Church in Fort Mill, South Carolina, Dr. Peter Wyns brought a huge, decorative sword to the pulpit and held it up. “A sister-in-the-Lord brought this today for me to show you.” (Her name is Nita Brown, our friend from Lancaster, South Carolina.) It was appropriate that he did this, for it went along well with his recent, powerful messages spoken these past months calling forth Christians and the Church to wake up in America. During the worship time that followed I sensed the Holy Spirit say to me, “I have given my Sword (the Bible) to everyone who has called upon My name. Some carry it, some have put it down. Some no longer think it is valid nor useful in this day. I AM calling them to pick it up again and use it. It is time to draw the sword.” The full armor we have been given as believers, as found in Ephesians, includes the battle weapon, the sword. We have been called to use it. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:10-17, NASU As I considered further as to what the Holy Spirit was saying to me this morning, I got the sense that He was serious. He was not giving us an “option” anymore, as if we had a choice. He was saying this word with a force of power behind it. We have to pick up the sword. It is time to draw the sword He has given us and use it. Our country needs the prayers that cry out to God. Our country needs the believers in this land of America, still the home of the brave and the free, to start fighting the forces of hell before the forces of hell take our freedom and right to worship the Living God away. The enemy of our souls is not backing down. Why are we standing around as if it continues to be OK for us to do so? It is not all right to be singing, “Que sera sera. Whatever will be will be.” As Dr. Wyns repeatedly has been saying, and I too have been writing about for a few years in my books (Standing For Truth 2018, Adventures in Courage 2019, Lion of Judah Roars 2020, each available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle versions) it is time for us to stand up, be bold, and not let the devil take this land from us. Fight we must. Use the sword we will. It is also time we stood strong for Israel and the Jews, and not let the lies of the anti-Semites and the Replacement Theologians continue to direct the narrative that most Christian churches have allowed to be preached from the pulpits and written pages over these past decades. That is the belief that the Church has now received all the promises given to the Jews by the Living God of Israel, taken from them and given to us, is simply not so, but a lie from hell. Be it to stand against the evil of abortion, same-sex marriage, cultic practices and idolatry, backing down on support of Israel, or allowing our educational and political systems to become more and more liberal and humanistic, now is the time to step up, be counted, and take up the Sword of the Lord to fight back. Of the full armor of God, the Sword is the one used not only for defensive purposes, but primarily for taking the offense. The mighty Sword is the one weapon used to attack and kill the enemy, before he kills you and the ones you are called to protect. Are you willing? Are you going to let our children and grandchildren be fed the deceptive and destructive lies that constantly rage against the Word of God and His followers? Not me. It is time to act. “Cross the River” – Time To Act

“Now when all the nation had finished crossing the Jordan, the Lord spoke to Joshua, saying, ” Take for yourselves twelve men from the people, one man from each tribe, and command them, saying, ‘Take up for yourselves twelve stones from here out of the middle of the Jordan, from the place where the priests’ feet are standing firm, and carry them over with you and lay them down in the lodging place where you will lodge tonight.'” Joshua 4:1-3, NASU

“Cross the river.” That is what I heard in my thoughts, but I knew Who spoke it.

He spoke those three words this morning, and so I will be looking for what river the Holy Spirit is directing me to cross.

I appreciate how the Lord speaks to us. For some, His Word of direction, encouragement, assignment, or inspiration may come from a Bible verse. This is a very good way of receiving, direct from His eternal, foundational Word. It is known as the “logos” of God.

Other times He will give us His Word through “rhema” – a spoken word from a prophetic message or, dare we think, something we might even hear through TV, video on the Internet, or heaven forbid, a Hollywood produced movie, and when heard we think, “Hmmm. There is something about that which I just heard.”

The Bible says He used a donkey (jack…), didn’t He? Why not one from Hollywood? (“Just sayin.” As they say here in the South. America.)

So, when I heard these words, “Cross the river” as a thought which came into my mind, I knew it was the voice of the Good Shepherd, as I have become accustomed to hearing. Ever so quiet at times.

As I personally thought of the three words more later, I believe it can be a physical crossing, a spiritual crossing, or both. Prophetic words many times are that way – having both natural and spiritual fulfillment when they come to pass.

What has He been speaking to you these days? Are you listening? Have you put yourself in a place to listen? Will you then act on what He tells you, or dismiss it as just random thoughts?

I encourage you to be looking, to be listening, to be acting on what the Living God of Israel is speaking. He may use thunder. He may use lightening, as He promised to give us signs in the heavens in these last days.

“But immediately following the trouble of those times, the sun will grow dark, the moon will stop shining, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in heaven will be shaken.” Matthew 24:29, Complete Jewish Bible

He may use your young child to express a word of encouragement, or directive, most needed in your life this day. He is giving even dreams and visions to many as He promised to do.

As Peter declared in Acts 2:17-21, quoting from the Hebrew prophet Joel, “’And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, “That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.

I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord be saved.“ NKJV

It is time to act on that which you have been told by the Lord.
