Jared Kushner Makes Unannounced Trip to Iraq - Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

Jared Kushner Makes Unannounced Trip to Iraq

“A wicked messenger falleth into evil; but a faithful ambassador is health.” Proverbs 13:17 (The Israel Bible™)
Jared Kushner, the Jewish son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, reportedly traveled to Iraq over the weekend with a number of defense officials. Kushner, who has been tasked by Trump with the onerous burden of fostering a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, serves as one of the president’s closest and most trusted advisors, but his role on the short Middle East trip is unclear.
The White House has not made any formal announcement or statement regarding the trip, nor Kushner’s participation, declining to even confirm his presence in the Middle East. The New York Times reported that Kushner had been invited to join by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph F. Dunford Jr.
A senior Trump official said on Sunday that Kushner had wanted to see the situation in Iraq, where the US military is active, first-hand, as well as show support for the US-backed Iraqi government.

UN Envoy Nikki Haley Warns Palestinians That UN Won’t Help Them Anymore - Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

UN Envoy Nikki Haley Warns Palestinians That UN Won’t Help Them Anymore

“Nevertheless if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it and he turn not from his way; he shall die in his iniquity but thou hast delivered thy soul.” Ezekiel 33:9 (The Israel Bible™)
Palestinians should not look to the United Nations for a solution to its conflict with Israel, US Ambassador Nikki Haley warned in her first meeting with the Palestinian Authority’s envoy to the UN on Tuesday.
Haley, who in her short tenure has already made clear at the UN that the international body’s bias against Israel is unacceptable, met with Riyad Mansour – who is not an official envoy, as the PA is not recognized by the UN, but a ‘permanent UN observer’ – for 45 minutes in New York.
After the meeting, Haley tweeted that she had told Mansour the PA must meet with Israel in direct negotiations “rather than looking to the UN to deliver results that can only be achieved through the two parties.”

Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner Host D.C. Bigwigs for First Shabbat Dinner at Home - Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner Host D.C. Bigwigs for First Shabbat Dinner at Home

“And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it; because that in it He rested from all His work which God in creating had made.” Genesis 2:3 (The Israel Bible™)
On Friday, Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner hosted several of President Trump’s Cabinet members at the couple’s first Shabbat dinner in their new Washington, D.C. home.
Last Friday, the couple was busy celebrating Trump’s inauguration, making January 27 the first Shabbat evening the family spent at home. They marked the occasion by inviting an impressive group of advisors and cabinet members, including Trump’s Department of the Treasury pick Steve Mnuchin, Department of Commerce nominee Wilbur Ross, Strategic Communications Director Hope Hicks, and advisors Gary Cohn and Dina Habibi Powell.
All of the D.C. dinner guests were sighted and photographed entering the Kushner home on Friday night by the Daily Mail, which published the photos on Saturday. Jared Kushner is visible greeting his guests at the door.

Evangelicals Storms Washington to Push Pro-Israel Legislation and Strengthen Trump Ties - Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

CUFI Storms Washington to Push Pro-Israel Legislation and Strengthen Trump Ties

“My help cometh from Hashem, who made heaven and earth.” Psalms 121:2 (The Israel Bible™)
Pro-Israel Evangelical group Christians United for Israel (CUFI) is sending hundreds of members to Washington, DC this week in order to influence Israel policies being debated on Capitol Hill.
Coming from 49 states, 260 CUFI members are flying into the capital Wednesday with the goal of pushing two congressional measures which slam the UN’s recent anti-settlement resolution and slash security budgets for America’s embassies worldwide until the US Embassy in Israel is moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, an act President-elect Donald Trump has said is a top priority for his administration.
Behind the mass migration of activists is a general move for CUFI away from associating with more moderate Israel advocacy organizations which support a two-state solution and towards Trump, who has made his strong pro-Israel and pro-Jerusalem positions a main part of his platform.

Biblical Pillar of Cloud Appears Over Golan, Proving Hand of God Protects Israel From ISIS [WATCH] - Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

Biblical Pillar of Cloud Appears Over Golan, Proving Hand of God Protects Israel From ISIS [WATCH]

“Thou Hashem art in the midst of this people; inasmuch as Thou Hashem art seen face to face, and Thy cloud standeth over them, and Thou goest before them, in a pillar of cloud by day, and in a pillar of fire by night.” Numbers 14:13 (The Israel Bible™)
A startling video which has been shared over 140,000 times on Facebook reveals without a doubt the hand of God protecting Israel against her enemies.
The video, posted on Thursday by Israel News Online, shows what appears to be an enormous pillar of cloud, dust and rain hovering over the dangerous border between Israel and Syria – in the very same area where ISIS militants had attacked IDF forces for the first time four days earlier.
Most incredibly, the mysterious cloud ended precisely at the border without entering Israel’s Golan Heights region, seeming to afflict the Syrian side while not harming Israel.
“This strange storm of what appears to be dust, cloud and rain did NOT cross the border fence into Israel. It sat like a barrier between ISIS and Israel,” the Facebook post read.
In the video, dozens of amazed IDF soldiers are shown photographing and taping the bizarre weather phenomenon with their phones.

Fires Are Finally Out, But Tallies Are Devastating - Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

Fires Are Finally Out, But Tallies Are Devastating

“For a fire is kindled in My nostril, and burneth unto the depths of the nether-world, and devoureth the earth with her produce, and setteth ablaze the foundations of the mountains.” Deuteronomy 32:22 (The Israel Bible™)
The blazing brush fires which consumed Israel in the past week have finally been quenched, but the damage done is staggering, officials say. While Israel downgraded its state of emergency and sent most of its firefighters back to regular duty on Monday, it could take upwards of 30 years for the country to fully recover.
Between November 18 and November 25, firefighters faced 1,773 fires around the country, said Fire Services spokesman Yoram Levy on Monday. Of those, 39 were declared major, requiring ten or more firefighting teams.
Over 32,000 acres of land, both forest and urban, are estimated to have been destroyed by fires in Haifa, Zichron Ya’acov, Neveh Shalom, Modi’in, Neveh Ilan, Nataf, and other areas. The total amount of damage is 30 percent more than during 2010, when a massive fire in the Carmel mountains decimated five million trees.

Trump Win to Spur Massive Building Wave in Jerusalem - Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

Trump Win to Spur Massive Building Wave in Jerusalem

“And the king sent and called for Shimi, and said unto him: Build thee a house in Yerushalayim, and dwell there, and go not forth thence any whither.” I Kings 2:36 (The Israel Bible™)
The election of Donald Trump has led to the fast-tracking of plans to build 1,400 new homes in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo as Israel anticipates an end to the “de facto” building freeze in place during the Obama administration.
An official from the Jerusalem municipality said the construction in Ramat Shlomo, which is located past the Green Line, is set to be approved in light of Trump’s victory. Trump is widely expected to ease the US’s hardline anti-settlement policy, which led to frosty relations between the two allies over the past eight years and strangled building in Judea and Samaria.
“In Jerusalem, it’s as if Trump is already in office,” said the municipality official on Sunday, the Jerusalem Post reported. “The problem is that nobody knows what his policies will actually be.”
He dismissed any denouncement from the lame-duck administration. “Even if the [current] State Department or White House issues a condemnation, it won’t be worth much at this point.”

Trump’s Jewish Son-in-Law May Snag Top White House Post - Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

Trump’s Jewish Son-in-Law May Snag Top White House Post

“Now Moshe was keeping the flock of Yitro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian; and he led the flock to the farthest end of the wilderness, and came to the mountain of God, unto Horeb.” Exodus 3:1 (The Israel Bible™)
Jared Kushner, the Jewish son-in-law of President-elect Donald Trump, may play a very key role in the Trump administration, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.
Trump and Kushner, who is the husband of Trump’s daughter Ivanka and the father of the president-elect’s three Jewish grandchildren, enjoy a close personal and professional relationship; despite his own work as a real estate developer and publisher, Kushner campaigned with Trump and frequently acted as advisor to him on the trail. He was reported to be involved in nearly every aspect of his father-in-law’s campaign.
According to WSJ, Trump’s newly-appointed chief of staff, Reince Priebus, and senior counselor, Stephen Bannon, are encouraging Kushner to become a formal adviser or “special counselor” to his father-in-law once he takes office.

Trump Team Warns Obama Against Last-Minute ‘UN Surprise’ on Israel - Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

Trump Team Warns Obama Against Last-Minute ‘UN Surprise’ on Israel

“Wait for Hashem, and keep His way, and He will exalt thee to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.” Psalms 37:34 (The Israel Bible™)
Saying that pushing agendas “contrary to the president-elect’s position” would not be in the “spirit of the transition”, Trump national security advisor for Donald Trump last week warned the Obama administration against making moves on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in his last months in office.
“On big, transformative issues where President Obama and President-elect Trump are not in alignment, I don’t think it’s in keeping with the spirit of the transition…to try to push through agenda items that are contrary to the president-elect’s positions,” the advisor told Politico.
Trump’s vision for Israel is extremely different from that of Obama, whose relationship with the Jewish state has been strained, to say the least. Trump campaigned on a strong pro-Israel platform, promising to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and hinting that he would lift restrictions on building in settlements, whereas the State Department under Obama has repeatedly and strongly condemned even small-scale Israeli construction in Judea and Samaria.
The Obama Administration’s attempts at making peace failed twice during its eight-year span.

Obama May Push Palestinian State Through at UN in Final Months: Report - Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

Obama May Push Palestinian State Through at UN in Final Months: Report

“For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should have taunted the armies of the living God?” I Samuel 17:26 (The Israel Bible™)
President Barack Obama has ordered up an “options menu” for proceeding with a diplomatic resolution between Israel and the Palestinians at the United Nations, to Israel’s great consternation, a Wall Street Journal (WSJ) editorial reported on Monday.
According to the article, entitled “Obama’s Israel Surprise”, the White House has requested a list of options from the State Department to fill Obama’s final months in office. Among them: sponsoring a United Nations Security Council resolution condemning Israeli settlement building – a step that, despite the US’s known displeasure on the subject, the administration has yet to officially take.
Obama might sponsor, “or at least allow”, such a resolution, said the article, and, domestically, punish Americans involved in Israeli construction by implementing “new IRS regulations revoking the tax-exempt status of people or entities involved in settlement building.”
There is another, even more worrying option on the menu, the WSJ warned, and that is the possibility of Obama pushing “formal recognition of a Palestinian state at the Security Council.”
Such a move, without a simultaneous peace agreement with Israel, would essentially destroy the possibility for a future peace. Without a state as a bargaining chip, the Palestinians would lack virtually all motivation to work with Israel.
But the worst option of all, continued the article, “would be an effort to introduce a resolution at the UN Security Council setting ‘parameters’ for a final settlement between Israel and the Palestinians.”
Israel has long argued that the only way to come to a peace agreement with the Palestinians is through direct negotiations between the two parties. Imposing a framework on talks would remove Israel’s autonomy over its own fate and give power to a governing body which has proven itself to be less than sympathetic to the Jewish state.
Obama could accomplish this feat with little effort. France has been attempting to insert itself into the conflict by moderating talks for months; if the US refused to veto a French resolution on the issue, it would likely pass.
Whatever parameters imposed by the UN “would be unacceptable to any Israeli government, left or right,” said the article.
The editorial concluded by advising Obama to stay out of it, forcing the Palestinians to come to direct negotiations.
“If Mr. Obama is still seeking a Middle East legacy at this late stage in his presidency, his best move is do nothing to make it worse.”

For First Time Ever, Jews Allowed to Pray on Temple Mount as Thousands Ascend for Holidays - Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

For First Time Ever, Jews Allowed to Pray on Temple Mount as Thousands Ascend for Holidays

“A Song of Ascents; of David. I rejoiced when they said unto me: ‘Let us go unto the house of Hashem.’” Psalms 122:1 (The Israel Bible™)In a not-so-subtle response to the recent UNESCO resolutions denying all connection between Jerusalem and the Jewish people, record-breaking numbers of Jews ascended to the Temple Mount over the three-week holiday period encompassing Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot – and in an incredible reversal of the usual status quo, some were even allowed to pray there, Haaretzreported.
While the number of non-Muslim visitors permitted on the Temple Mount is usually restricted, a relatively quiet holiday season allowed for record numbers of Jewish visitors to ascend and, marking a small but significant shift in enforced policy, to discreetly pray at the site, which is considered the holiest in Judaism. All told, over 3,000 Jews, many of them religious, visited the Mount over the holiday period.
“Jewish visitors reported a certain relaxation of the restrictions on prayer and religious rituals in the compound,” said Haaretz of the holiday visits. “For example, police did not interrupt anyone who was praying quietly on their own.”
The Temple Mount, under the control of the Jordanian Waqf, is often a contentious flashpoint for violence, rioting and unrest, usually perpetrated by Arabs angered by the presence of non-Muslims, who are forbidden from any kind of worship at the holy site. As a result, visiting hours for non-Muslims are short, and the number of people allowed up on any given day – visitors must pass through a police checkpoint before entering – is limited.

Should any non-Muslim be “caught” praying on the Mount, either by the Jordanian police or the Israeli security forces that patrol the compound, he or she is liable to be immediately ejected or banned from the site.

Visiting the Temple Mount is particularly meaningful during the holiday of Sukkot, which according to Biblical tradition is one of the three pilgrimage festivals when Jews were required to bring offerings to the Temple in Jerusalem. According to a statement by the organization of Temple Mount activists, this Sukkot, some Jews were even allowed to carry the lulav bundle of four species, ritually shaken on each day of the week-long festival, into the Temple Mount compound despite a police ban on any non-Muslim religious items inside.
“The police have gone back to exercising restraint and stopped harassing non-public prayers,” said the statement. “As a result, many Jews were able to pray on the Temple Mount quietly, and some even inconspicuously carried a lulav and the [other] species.”
The shift is likely temporary and unofficial, but its significance should not be overlooked. It comes at a moment when the world is questioning the Jewish connection to the Temple Mount in light of two UNESCO resolutions which ignore entirely the innate, historical, Jewish nature of the Temple Mount, instead referring to it with its Arabic name and calling it a “Muslim holy site of worship.”

Amazing Photo of Israel From Space Reveals Holy Land in a New Light - Abra Forman BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

Amazing Photo of Israel From Space Reveals Holy Land in a New Light

“I Hashem have called thee in righteousness, and have taken hold of thy hand, and kept thee, and set thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the nations.” Isaiah 42:6 (The Israel Bible™)
A spectacular photo of Israel and the Middle East, taken from the Space Station and released by NASA on Wednesday, prove what much of the world already knows: Israel is quite literally a light unto the nations.
The photo, showing Northern Egypt, the Sinai Peninsula, and the whole of Israel, as well as other neighboring countries, provide a stark contrast between Israel’s tiny yet brightly glowing crescent and the large swathes of dark, empty land surrounding it on all sides.

The northern tip of Egypt is visible, with a network of lit and developed areas branching out from the massive glow of Cairo, though the rest of the country is noticeably dark. The vast but empty Sinai Peninsula boasts only a few pockets of light on the coasts, marking the Suez Canal and the Egyptian towns of El Tor, Sharm El-Sheikh, and Dahab.
The point of light on the eastern coast of the Sinai where it meets Jordan shows Eilat, an Israeli resort town at the country’s southernmost tip.
Stay up to date with all your Prophecy News!
Israel itself, a fraction of the size of its Middle Eastern neighbors, is a brightly lit from the bottom of the Negev to its northern point. The lights of Jerusalem to the east are easily visible, and the coast is illuminated from north to south, with Tel Aviv and Haifa marking two of Israel’s largest population centers. A network of glowing towns, roads, cities and villages spreads throughout the entire country; even the barren Negev is dotted with small points of light.
Surrounding Israel, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria are noticeably dark, with proportionally fewer signs of life.
Israel, though very small and very young, is known for its innovative technology and the “start up” culture that has made it one of the most important high-tech centers in the world. Its Middle Eastern neighbors, however, generally less prosperous and with lower standards of living, are noticeably absent from the world stage when it comes to technological and agricultural advances.
This latest image illuminates a principle first spoken by God and brought to life in modern times. Israel’s fate, spiritually, intellectually and literally, is to shine a divine light unto the nations of the world.

US Embassy Accidentally Sends “Settlement” Wine as Rosh Hashana Gift By Abra Forman - BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

US Embassy Accidentally Sends “Settlement” Wine as Rosh Hashana Gift
“So God give thee of the dew of heaven, and of the fat places of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine.” Genesis 27:28 (The Israel Bible™)
The United States embassy in Tel Aviv accidentally sent out bottles of wine made in Judea and Samaria as part of an annual holiday gift package to a number of Israeli organizations, including leftist groups, Reuters reported on Monday.
The move was at odds with the State Department’s well-known position on Jewish communities in the West Bank, which it considers the main “obstacle to peace” between Israel and the Palestinians. The US views Jewish “settlements” as illegitimate.
The embassy quickly put out a statement denying that the Rosh Hashana gift signaled a shift in the US’s stance on the issue.
“This should in no way be interpreted as a change of our policy on settlements, which is long-standing and clear,” said an embassy official.
The gift baskets had been purchased from an independent vendor, said the embassy. Embassy officials had not checked the contents of the baskets before distributing them to their recipients.
Stop BDS by Buying Israeli Goods!
Among those recipients was Peace Now, an extremely left-wing NGO which advocates for a two-state solution and is virulently against Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria, which it refers to as the “Occupied Territories.”
“I’m sure it was an honest mistake,” said a Peace Now member after receiving the gift.

Products made in the biblical heartland have caused their share of controversy. Many companies located in Judea and Samaria have been targeted by the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, and last year the European Union moved to label all “settlement”-made products in what Israeli officials lambasted as a “discriminatory” policy.
The wine in the Rosh Hashana basket was produced by the Zion Winery, located in Mishor Adumim, a city east of Jerusalem in Judea. According to a recipient, it was a kosher cabernet sauvignon.
Last December, products made in Judea and Samaria were also sent as diplomatic holiday gifts, albeit very purposefully. Ron Dermer, Israel’s ambassador to Washington, distributed gift boxes packed with products from Judea, Samaria, and the Golan Heights in a pointed political statement against BDS.
