UN Ambassador Nikki Haley Embraces Genesis 12, Demands World Do the Same

JESSILYN JUSTICE  CHARISMA NEWS
U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said she would longer stand for "Israel-bashing," as there is a "new sheriff in town."
Haley detailed a recent meeting she had at the United Nations in which the body discussed their disregard for Israel.
You know, I was confused. It was totally bizarre because in my first month, talking about the Middle East, there's a lot to talk about. And whether you're talking about Hezbollah or ISIS, all the issues in Syria, which is a problem, that's what I expected us to talk about. I didn't expect an Israel-bashing session," Haley said. "And literally, listening to each member say the same thing over and over again, I knew they said it was bad, but until you hear it and you see it, you just can't comprehend how ridiculous it is."
But she's not giving up.
"For anyone who says you can't get anything done at the U.N., they need to know there is a new sheriff in town. I'm not there to play games and what I wanted to make sure of is that the United States started leading again," the former South Carolina governor told the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conference.
Haley rebuked the U.N. for its anti-Israel bias, siding with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who says the world regards the country unfairly.
Haley said the U.N.'s resolution to abstain from the two-state solution vote in February was a "kick in the gut" for her and other Israel allies.
"I wear heels. It's not for a fashion statement. It's because if I see something wrong, we're going to kick them every single time. So how are we kicking? We're kicking by, number one, putting everybody on notice, saying that if you have our back—we're going to have the backs of our friends, but our friends need to have our back too. If you challenge us, be prepared for what you're challenging us for, because we will respond," Haley said.

"The next thing we did was we said, the days of Israel-bashing are over. We have a lot of things to talk about. There are a lot of threats to peace and security. But you're not going to take our No. 1 democratic friend in the Middle East and beat up on them. And I think what you're seeing is they're all backing up a little bit."
Haley's remarks were given at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee Conference. Vice President Mike Pence used his speech at the conference to reaffirm his support in the Trump administration relocating the U.S. Israel embassy to Jerusalem.

Trump Insists Palestinian Terror Must Be Confronted - ISRAELTODAY

Trump Insists Palestinian Terror Must Be Confronted

Tuesday, March 22, 2016 |  Israel Today Staff
Breaking with the traditional Western approach of trying to appease Palestinian terrorism, US presidential frontrunner Donald Trump on Monday insisted violence against Israel must be confronted.
Trump was speaking at the annual gathering of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), where he charged that “President Obama is the worst thing to happen to Israel.”
By contrast, if he wins the White House, Trump vowed a very different take at Middle East peacemaking.
The Palestinians “must come to the table willing to accept that Israel is a Jewish state and it will exist forever as a Jewish state,” he said, adding that any other type of deal “would reward Palestinian terrorism… You don’t reward behavior like that. You cannot do it. There’s only one way you treat that kind of behavior. You have to confront it.”
Trump also promised that as president he would “move the American embassy to the eternal capital of the Jewish people, Jerusalem.”
Trump’s remarks won thunderous applause from an audience that many believed would be difficult to win over for the controversial billionaire.
Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton also addressed the conference. She spent most of her time on stage launched thinly veiled attacks on Trump himself, but also very subtly distanced herself from President Barack Obama’s contentious handling of Israel.
“If I am fortunate enough to be elected president,” she promised, “… we will never allow Israel’s adversaries to think a wedge can be driven between us. When we have differences, as any friends do, we will work to resolve them quickly and respectfully.”
It as almost a stab at the Obama Administration’s often harsh tone in publicly addressing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Commentary: Why Won't Obama, Kerry Meet with Netanyahu?

Commentary: Why Won't Obama, Kerry Meet with Netanyahu?

JERUSALEM, Israel -- Not long after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accepted the invitation to speak to a joint session of Congress next month, the White House and State Department announced that neither President Barack Obama nor Secretary John Kerry would meet with him.
They cited the proximity of upcoming Israeli elections, saying top-level meetings might give the impression of favoring Netanyahu. The address itself was moved to March, in part to coincide with the annual American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) policy meeting, which Netanyahu will also address.
This latest diplomatic tennis match has all the earmarks of past meetings between the two leaders.
Remember President Obama complaining to former French President Nicolas Sarkozy on a hot mike of having to deal with Netanyahu every day? Or the time the president left Netanyahu to fend for himself at mealtime? Or when the Israeli delegation was ushered into the White House through a back entrance?
Remember their taped conversations in the White House, with Obama sometimes looking uncomfortable as Netanyahu thanked him for his friendship with Israel?
When Obama came to Israel at the beginning of his second term, he was treated like a king. Israelis will fall over backward if you just say something nice to them. Obama exuded warmth and friendship during his visit.
It seems safe to say that from the beginning, the two leaders were destined to clash. They have differing world views, which makes interaction all the more difficult. Past displays of friendship appear to have been for public consumption.
The Obama administration also expressed support of a Palestinian unity government composed of the PLO's (Palestine Liberation Organization) Fatah faction and Hamas, the Islamist faction ruling the Gaza Strip, which the U.S., Britain and Egypt designate a terror organization. And that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to differing views, such as future borders and the status of Jerusalem.
Speaker of the House John Boehner, R-Ohio, has been around Capitol Hill a long time. No doubt he's very familiar with protocol between the legislative and executive branches.
Boehner believes a nuclear-armed Iran and Islamic extremism can no longer be put on a back burner. He also sees Israel as a U.S. ally and Netanyahu as a reliable leader.
The bottom line is all the stalling is playing into Iran's ability to become a nuclear threshold state.
Netanyahu knows the stakes are too high to drop the ball. It seems Congress agrees. As such, both appear willing to play hardball with the White House if need be.
