Obama Administration Keeps Taking Shots at Israel While Hurricane Matthew Attacks

RICKY SCAPARO/END TIME HEADLINES  CHARISMA NEWS
Genesis 12:1-3: "Now the Lord said to Abram, 'Go from your country, your family, and your father's house to the land that I will show you. I will make of you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless them who bless you, and curse him who curses you, and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.'"
Zechariah 12:2-3: "I am going to make Jerusalem a cup of reeling before all the surrounding nations. And when there is a siege against Judah, it is also against Jerusalem. And it will be on that day that I will set Jerusalem as a weighty stone to all the peoples. All who carry it will surely gash themselves, and all the nations of the land will be gathered against it."
1. It started last month when President Barack Obama spoke at the United Nations and addressed the United Nations for the last time as president and criticized Israel for its continued "occupation and settlement of Palestinian lands." He even went on to say that  the Jewish state would be better off if it did not "permanently occupy and settle Palestinian land." He also said that Palestinians would be better off if they were to "reject incitement."
2. Then only five days later he President Obama calls Judea and Samaria "Palestinian," in a vast contradiction to International Law! "Surely Israelis and Palestinians will be better off if Palestinians reject incitement and recognize the legitimacy of Israel ... [and if] Israel recognizes that it cannot permanently occupy and settle Palestinian land," Obama said.
3. Then after the death of Shimon Perez, the White House amended its transcript of President Barack Obama's eulogy for Shimon Peres to remove "Israel" from the Jerusalem dateline. The White House sent reporters an amended the transcript that afternoon, "with a corrected header," about nine hours after the transcript was first mailed. Instead of simply removing the word "Israel," officials struck it through.
4. And now today we have a report that the White House has accused Israel of a betrayal of trust, in an unusually sharp rebuke over its plans to build hundreds of new settlement homes deep in the West Bank. Days after President Barack Obama approved a $38 billion Israeli military aid package and attended former president Shimon Peres's funeral in Jerusalem, the White House railed at the construction of 300 housing units on land "far closer to Jordan than Israel."
As this is being written, we have millions of residents on the East Coast being evacuated from the threat of Hurricane Matthew that has left Haiti in ruins and is predicted to cause billions of dollars in damage and areas of Tampa Bay may be left uninhabitable for weeks or months! Some reports are saying this hurricane could be worse than Hurricane Katrina that struck New Orleans in 2005. Also, on the West Coast experts are on edge as many are predicting a mega-quake could strike the San Andreas fault line after a recent earthquake swarm had taken place. The warning prompted a shutdown of city hall and residents to stock food, water and supplies.

House Fails to Override Veto to Defund Planned Parenthood - CBN News

House Fails to Override Veto to Defund Planned Parenthood
02-02-2016

Republican lawmakers launched another effort to repeal President Barack Obama's signature healthcare law Tuesday, despite having no chance of succeeding.
Tuesday's vote was an attempt to override Obama's veto last month on a bill to gut Obamacare and end federal payments to Planned Parenthood.
Even before the scheduled vote, GOP lawmakers did not appear to have the necessary two-thirds majority to override a presidential veto. Yet, to many, like Rep. Robert Pittenger, R-N.C., the vote was symbolic.
Pittenger told CBN News the vote gave conservatives an opportunity to draw a distinction between their priorities versus the priorities of the Democrats. Click here to listen to Rep. Pittenger's comments: Defund Planned Parenthood
"We want to make it very clear to the American people where we stand and where the president stands. That's why we put this on his desk," he said. "We want them to know that we are standing for righteousness. We're standing for truth. We're standing for the lives of the unborn.
"And we're standing for a budget that is one that will bring accountability to our government and that's what we're about," he added.
Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said the effort would send an important signal.
"What we're proving today is if we have a Republican president next year, we will repeal Obamacare," Ryan told reporters.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright: 'Jesus was a Palestinian'

Rev. Jeremiah Wright: 'Jesus was a Palestinian'

Screen Capture
JERUSALEM, Israel -- Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the former pastor of President Barack Obama and his family, told the crowd at a rally organized by Nation of Islam, led by Louis Farrakhan, that Jesus was Palestinian, the Daily Caller reported over the weekend.
"We are grateful to God to be able to be here and to speak a word on behalf of Palestinian justice," Wright said at the "Justice or Else" rally in Washington, D.C., commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March.
"The original people, the Palestinians -- and please remember Jesus was a Palestinian -- the Palestinian people have had the Europeans come and take their country," he said, articulating Palestinian Liberation Theology.
Wright accused Israel, which he called an "apartheid" state, of illegally occupying "as they take the people whose countries it is and make it their[s] because their God told them that they could have somebody else's country."
Wright compared the Palestinian conflict to the struggles of African-American youth.
"The youth in Ferguson and the youth in Palestine have united together to remind us that the dots need to be connected," he said.
He added that this has "implications for us as we stand beside our Palestinian brothers and sisters who have been done one of the most egregious injustices in the 20 and 21 centuries."
The Obama family attended Wright's church for 20 years, with some referring to Rev. Wright as the president's spiritual mentor.

Prophecy Fulfilled: Sept. 4, 2015

Prophecy Fulfilled: Sept. 4, 2015

I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to publish this tidbit of news I discovered in Friday morning’s newspaper, but by now everyone must surely know. On page 10 of the Jerusalem Post, there was a small article that happened to catch my attention.  I would have expected it to be placed on the front page (knowing its significance), but nevertheless, there it was.  I had been patiently waiting for this event to happen (along with many other people).
BIN-OpEd-Experts-300x250(1)The article, which you can also find originally posted on Reuters, states: “The White House said on Thursday that Saudi Arabia’s King Salman would meet with President Barack Obama in Washington on Sept. 4. The two leaders will discuss Yemen, Syria and steps to counter Iran’s destabilizing activities in the region.” White House spokesman Josh Earnest told this to reporters who were traveling on Air Force One. The story goes on to say that US President Barack Obama wants to “shore up relations” after a period of tension regarding the US-led nuclear deal with Iran.
The timing is uncanny though, since this visit is scheduled to come less than two weeks before a Congressional vote on the nuclear agreement with Iran.  Furthermore, the article points out clearly that the gist of the meeting is to discuss “steps to counter Iran’s destabilizing activities in the region.”
Can you smell the fear there? One of the things I learned in my Executive Counter-Terrorism course at IDT was that it’s the “infidel” (aka – moderate) Sunni Arabs in Saudi Arabia that are first on the Iranian (Shi’ite) nuclear hit list. Before Israel even – despite all the rhetoric to the contrary.
But here’s where it gets interesting. Very interesting. All this has been mapped out over 1500 years ago in the following Jewish scriptural sources:
Yoma 10a in the Talmud – “Rabbi Yochanan said in the name of Rabbi Yehuda in the name of Rabbi Ilayi: In the time to come, Rome will fall at the hands of Persia.”
Well, how it that going to happen? We definitely know that present-day Persia and Rome intensely dislike each other ever since the Iranian plot to assassinate Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the US was revealed (in Nov. 2011). The above verse may in fact elude to the final battle of Gog and Magog that we may witness at the End of Days.
But here is something closer to home. The following passage is from a Midrash (an ancient text originally compiled circa 500 AD). Keep in mind that Midrashic literature is not always meant to be taken at face value, but is usually coming to teach an historic lesson that all can learn from.
Yalkut Shemoni (Isaiah, #499) – “Rabbi Yitzchak said: The year that Melekh HaMashiach (King Messiah) will be revealed, all the kings (leaders) of the nations will be struggling against each other. The leader of Persia (Iran) will contest with an Arab leader and the Arab leader will go to Aram/Edom (the Western Superpower) to get council from him. The leader of Persia will respond and [attempt to] bring destruction to the entire world. All the nations of the world will be trembling and shaking and falling on their faces. They will be seized by pains like labor pains. The Jewish people will be overcome by panic and fear, saying: “Where can we go? Where can we go?” And the Messiah will say to them: My children, do not fear, everything I did I did only for you! Why are you frightened? Don’t be afraid–the days of your redemption have arrived!”
I’d say this particular Midrash is not just conjecture, but pretty specific!
Uncover the Truth Behind the A.R.K.
But when the Midrash speaks about destroying the world, for instance, it begs the question: Is this statement to be taken literally, or does it refer perhaps to another type of destruction? Iran and ISIS intend to destroy other things in the world as well, one of which is Democracy, and replace it with a global Islamic Caliphate. Or maybe it points to the poisoning of ecosystems and drinking water sources throughout the world by means of terror attacks, etc. Maybe it’s all three! (heaven forbid)
Rabbi Yonasan Eibshetz (1690-1764) in his book Ya’arot Dvash – “At a certain moment the time will come when the Messiah should have already arrived but the redemption has not yet come. The Messiah will ask how it could be that the time for redemption has arrived and he still undergoes sufferings? The response that he will receive is that he must wait for nine months. Why? In order to wait for the fall of Persia (Iran) at the hands of Edom (the Christian West), and then the final redemption will come!”
No doubt Jerusalem will end up in the centre of all this by then as well. The main thing for us is to be hopeful that the Redemption of the Jews, and all peoples, should happen in a merciful way, and not followed by sorrow and servitude!
Each one of us can actually affect that outcome by strengthening our connection to the Creator and our commitment to Him, each in his/her own way, in our everyday lives, and by doing random acts of kindness to each other. Sounds corny, but this stuff really does have an effect on High.
This piece wouldn’t be complete without at least a couple other hints that also point to this upcoming year as being especially appropriate for the Messianic arrival. In the Bible Codes the words “Melech HaMashiach” – Hebrew for King Messiah, are found crisscrossed with the words Obama and “Shoresh Nachash” (meaning Source of the Snake). In fact, the numerical equivalent, or Hebrew gematria, for Barack Obama, and also Snake, both equal 358, the same exact number as the word: Mashiach! (his antithesis?) There are actually so many more hints available on this stuff that it’s outside the scope here.
My take on all this? Nobody alive today can pretend to know for-sure if all these sources pertain to this year specifically, but that little article that I chanced upon reveals the most striking fulfillment so far of prophecy, right here in the 2015 daily papers. One things you CAN bet on though, is that this Sept. 4th I’ll be checking the news.
Fasten your seatbelts folks!

President Obama Admits Flaws, Shares Heart at Prayer Breakfast

President Obama Admits Flaws, Shares Heart at Prayer Breakfast

President Barack Obama
President Barack Obama (Reuters)
President Obama turned both personal and preachy Tuesday (April 7) during his annual Easter Prayer Breakfast, which he has hosted at the White House six times since he was elected.
The long list of Christian leaders attending included Sojourners' Jim Wallis, National Association of Evangelicals President Leith Anderson, Roman Catholic Cardinal Donald Wuerl, the Rev. Al Sharpton, retired Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson, civil rights veteran the Rev. C.T. Vivian and African Methodist Episcopal Bishop Vashti McKenzie. The Rev. Amy Butler of New York's Riverside Church gave the opening prayer.
Here are four memorable statements from the event:
1. Though he said, "I am no preacher," he almost preached:
"Even as we grapple with the sheer enormity of Jesus' sacrifice, on Easter we can't lose sight of the fact that the story didn't end on Friday," he said. "The story keeps on going. On Sunday comes the glorious resurrection of our savior."
"Easter is our affirmation that there are better days ahead — and also a reminder that it is on us, the living, to make them so," he added.
2. He acknowledged he falls short of the mark:
"Today we celebrate the magnificent glory of our risen savior. I pray that we will live up to his example. I pray that I will live up to his example. I fall short so often. Every day I try to do better."
3. He praised several preachers, including the late Rev. Gardner C. Taylor:
He quoted the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and acknowledged Pope Francis, whom he will welcome to the White House later this year and "who encourages us to seek peace, to serve the marginalized and be good stewards of God's creation."
And he remembered the Rev. Gardner C. Taylor, the "dean of American preaching," who died on Easter Sunday at age 96.
"Anybody who had the privilege of hearing him speak knows what power he had," the president said. "He was a friend of Dr. King who used his spellbinding sermons to spread the gospel and open people's hearts and minds."
4. He tears up when he thinks of his daughters:
"I want to thank everybody here for their prayers, which mean so much to me and Michelle, particularly at a time when my daughters are starting to grow up and starting to go on college visits. I need prayer. I start tearing up in the middle of the day and I can't explain it. Why am I so sad? They're leaving me."

Apocalyptic Betrayals

Apocalyptic Betrayals

Tuesday, March 31, 2015 |  Noah Beck  ISRAEL TODAY
President Obama’s far-reaching efforts to facilitate Iran’s march to nukes amount to nothing less than apocalyptic betrayals of U.S. voters and allies – betrayals that will make the world exponentially more dangerous.
Obama has ignored the countless reasons to doubt that the ayatollahs will make and keep a nuclear accord that prevents them from acquiring nuclear weapons. Here are just some of those reasons:
1) Iran’s president Hassan Rouhani boasted about his own role in exploiting diplomatic talks to advance Iran’s nuclear program
3) Iran recently tried – in a single transaction – to buy know-how for nukes and impunity for one of its biggest terrorist attacks.
5) thanks to Iranian involvement in the recent Houthi-rebel takeover of Yemen, Iran’s ever-expanding hegemony now reaches four Arab countries, and
The Saudis have warned that the current deal will spark a Mideast nuclear arms race. It could also hasten the era of nuclear terrorism. There are already reports that ISIS has resorted to attacks with chemical weapons (hardly surprising after Obama’s “red lines” on Syria’s chemical weapons use turned white). Iran could provide nuclear material – in addition to a nuclear umbrella – to its proxy terrorist group, Hezbollah. For these and other grave concerns, Netanyahu risked his political career on a speech before Congress that explained why the deal is so bad.
Yet rather than address legitimate reservations about the emerging Iranian nuclear deal, Obama prefers to hold Bibi to his Israeli election slogans about a Palestinian state as if Obama hadn’t himself broken countless campaign promises, including his own oft-repeated commitment (to voters and allies alike) that he would prevent Iran from going nuclear. Breaching his promise to everyone, Obama has embraced a process that makes Iran a threshold nuclear state.
Instead of questioning the intentions of the same theocratic regime that held 52 Americans hostage for 444 days, the Obama administration has whitewashed Iran’s terrorist activities/record, and accepted Rouhani as a "moderate" even though human rights in Iran have actually worsened under his rule
Despite Obama’s attempts to influence the outcome of Israel’s free elections, no Israeli government, regardless of the political parties that comprise it, can live with the existential threat posed by a nuclear Iran. And world powers are closer than ever to forcing an Israeli military response to that danger because they have buckled rather than created sufficient diplomatic and economic pressure to persuade Iran to dismantle its nuclear program.
Iran has made steady progress on its nukes despite decades of sanctions, UN Security Council resolutions, IAEA inspections, and negotiations. The most successful strategy for stopping Iran’s nuclear march was the very real threat of force in 2003. After the U.S. military quickly trounced Iraq, neighboring Iran was deterred from continuing its nuclear activities, until it concluded that the U.S. military threat had dissipated.
Under Obama, the weakest U.S. president since Jimmy Carter, there is no credible military threat, as his actions in Syria, Ukraine, and elsewhere have shown.
That reality will force Israel to take military action against Iran’s nukes – either in the absence of a nuclear deal or despite the bad one under consideration (which paves Iran’s path to the bomb with legitimacy while isolating Israel). Some think that Israel will refrain from attacking because a military strike would, at best, set back Iranian nukes by a few years. But that is a specious argument for two reasons:
1) Like “mowing the grass” with Hamas’ military buildups in Gaza, Israel may simply have to take military action every few years,
2) the Iranians may eventually stop trying to develop nukes, after realizing that it’s a huge waste of resources to build nuclear facilities that Israel will eventually destroy.
Despite all of the risks of attacking Iran’s nuclear program, doing nothing will be riskier to Israel’s survival because the world’s most dangerous regime then acquires the world’s most dangerous weapons.
The Jewish nation knows all too well the dangers of ignoring genocidal threats, and Iran, the world’s chief sponsor of terrorism, has repeatedly threatened to destroy Israel. By making Iran a nuclear threshold state, the proposed deal leaves the ayatollahs with the ability to carry out that threat and therefore compels an Israeli attack. However, because Israel’s capabilities are far more limited than those of the U.S. military, Israel won’t be able to prevent Iranian retribution when destroying Iran’s nukes.
What follows is a nuclear World War III. Iran will retaliate with an overwhelming barrage of potent, long-range ballistic missiles on Israel’s population centers, and will likely also target the Israeli nuclear reactor in Dimona (which action could itself produce massive casualties). Hezbollah, which has about 100,000 long-range missiles supplied by Iran, will add to the unstoppable downpour of missiles. For all of their impressive successes, Israeli missile defense systems simply cannot handle such a huge number of incoming missiles, and so there will be thousands of dead.
The world, as usual, will do nothing but excoriate Israel and call for restraint, leaving Israel with countless casualties. Adjusted for population differences, ten thousand dead in tiny Israel is like about 400,000 killed in the USA. At that point (if not much sooner), Israel will feel that it’s very survival requires nuking Tehran and a few other major cities, which would destroy the regime along with maybe a million people.
The Sunni countries threatened by Shiite Iran’s hegemonic aggression in the region may have already entered the fray at that point, or would do so soon after, and the centuries-old Sunni-Shia conflict would explode throughout the region even more than it already has. It’s not clear how the war eventually ends, but there will be even more chaos as failed states and radical extremism spread across the Middle East. The price of oil will skyrocket to unseen levels, and none of this will be good for U.S. interests.
Absurdly enough, the U.S. could probably prevent such a doomsday scenario by simply asserting an ultimatum backed by very credible military force. If Iran does not, within a week after the expiration of the current talks, allow inspectors unfettered access to all of its nuclear facilities and then cooperate in their destruction (with compensation and a set of economic and political rewards for that cooperation), then the U.S. military will, with overwhelming military force, destroy the entire Iranian military infrastructure (including its nuclear program) and work towards the downfall of the regime.
If the U.S. can make such a threat credibly, then Iran will acquiesce, no actual force will be needed, and the decades-long Iranian nuclear threat will finally end.
But, unlike apocalyptic betrayals, such a bold show of force is unthinkable for Obama, and so we could be looking at a nuclear World War III in the not-too-distant future.
Noah Beck is the author of The Last Israelis, an apocalyptic novel about Iranian nukes and other geopolitical issues in the Middle East.

Report: Saudis Ready to Help Israel Attack Iran

Report: Saudis Ready to Help Israel Attack Iran

Thursday, February 26, 2015 |  Israel Today Staff
European officials say that Saudi Arabia is just as concerned as Israel over the details of the nuclear agreement the Obama Administration is currently negotiating with Iran, and is even prepared to facilitate an Israeli airstrike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, should it come to that.
“The Saudis have declared their readiness for the Israeli Air Force to overfly Saudi air space en route to attack Iran if an attack is necessary,” an unnamed senior European diplomat was cited as saying by Israel’s Channel 2 News.
The source added that Saudi Arabia is “completely coordinated with Israel on all matters related to Iran.”
The one condition Riyadh reportedly had for providing this kind of assistance is some kind of tangible progress in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
The report, if credible, is a major blow to the Obama Administration, which insists that Israel’s urgent criticism of its proposed deal with Iran is unwarranted.
“Anybody running around right now jumping in to say, ‘Well we don’t like the deal,’ or this or that, doesn’t know what the deal is,” US Secretary of State John Kerry told a congressional hearing on Tuesday.
Israel’s Minister of Strategic Affairs, Yuval Steinitz, responded by suggesting that perhaps it’s Kerry that lacks the full picture.
“We know all we need to know, and we have an excellent picture of the negotiations,” Steinitz told Israeli media. “Maybe [Kerry] doesn’t know everything we know.”

Why does Jordan’s Muslim King say our enemy is Radical Islam but President Obama won’t? - Joel Rosenberg

Why does Jordan’s Muslim King say our enemy is Radical Islam but President Obama won’t? Here’s my interview on Fox News.

by joelcrosenberg
Joel-FoxJordanShannon(Nashville, Tennessee) -- Why is that President Obama refuses to define our enemy as "Radical Islam," yet Muslim leaders like Jordan's King Abdullah II and Egypt's President el-Sisi very honestly and publicly state that this fight is, in fact, a showdown with Radical Muslims and that we all must take action to fight these jihadists theologically as well as militarily?
Consider the headlines of just the past few days:
The Commander-in-Chief's repeated refusal to explain who the enemy is constitutes a foolish and dangerous decision. We cannot defeat an enemy we cannot define.
I discussed this issue today on Fox News with anchor Shannon Bream. Here is the video. Here is the transcript.
Bream: After that brutal killing of the captured Jordanian pilot -- carefully scripted, filmed and broadcast to the world -- King Abdullah retaliated and called the battle against ISIS the "third world war." Joel Rosenberg is author of a new book, The Third Target. He says King Abdullah fully understands he that is in a winner-take-all showdown with ISIS. Joel joins us now live. Joel, good to see you today.
Rosenberg: Good to see you, as well. Thank you, Shannon.
Bream: Now, you are very familiar -- having lived and worked in that region quite a bit -- what do you make of the response we saw from the Jordanians, and where do you think we go from here? Do you think those you live and breathe and work in that region have a different understanding than we do here in the U.S.?
Rosenberg: Well, the contrast between President Obama's response to Americans being beheaded and King Abdullah's response is striking. You know, President Obama was with King Abdullah the day the video was released of the Jordanian pilot being burned alive. The King was not on the President's schedule that day he was in Washington. And the President only added him in because of that murder, and they only spent 20 minutes together. But what did the King do? He went right back. He suited up in fatigues. He started bombing ISIS, and he hanged two ISIS people that had been captured. He understands this is a war. And he understands that he is at the center of it. And it's interesting that in that 60 Minutes interview you just referenced -- when he called it a "third world war" -- he said it's a war "inside Islam." President Obama is deeply conflicted over whether this is a battle that has anything to do with Islam. But the King -- who is a descendant of Muhammad -- knows it's a battle inside Islam, and against Radical Islam.
Bream: I don't want to get too deep into the theological weeds, but you've written a number of books about this. And your book on the so-called "Twelfth Imam" is about these End Times prophecies that certain factions of Islam -- not the majority of Muslims out there -- but there are certain factions who adhere to a very radical, specific End Times theology, and that ISIS is sort of in the business of, they want to launch an Armageddon-type, end of the world situation. They think it's what they need in prophecy to bring about their end goals. Do you think that we get that? Do you think that our administration gets that?
Rosenberg: No, and that's because the President is saying from the top and throughout the administration that this isn't an Islamic problem. You're right that the vast majority of Muslims don't, you know  -- this is not them -- they're not cutting off people's heads and they never will. But the Radicals are being driven by their interpretation of Islam. And it's important -- this is what motivates them. This is why it's not a jobs issue. It's not a poverty issue. It's a Radical Islamic theology issue, and an eschatology issue. They do want to set up a caliphate -- an Islamic kingdom -- which is really an End Times theology in their view. They believe it will hasten the End of Days. My new novel, The Third Target, is really about ISIS being a threat to Israel, the United States, and Jordan. What's interesting is that it's been out five weeks now on the best-seller lists, but it really takes us into this threat that is actually not fiction right now. This is very real.
Bream: Yes. I was one eschatology class away from a theology minor in college, but I find that there's so much that I'm learning by reading about what these specific factions believe. And for those who want to get some education on this, your books are a great way of doing that -- some fiction, some non-fiction -- but a great way of getting a better understanding of why some decisions are made, and who the players are and what their interests are in these games that are -- not games, I mean the end game of what they hoped to bring about.
Rosenberg: Right, right.
Bream: I would recommend those [books] as a very entertaining but very educational way to get up-to-speed on some of these issues. Joel, always good to see you. Thank you so much. Come back soon.
Rosenberg: Thank you. I appreciate it.
