The Anti-Defamation League recently hosted a memorial event marking the first anniversary of the “Charlie Hebdo” and Hypercacher terrorist attacks in Paris, and recognizing some of the French Jews who made aliyahto Israel as a result.
The event was attended by the French Ambassador to Israel Patrick Maisonnave (pictured), former Israeli Ambassador to France Daniel Shek, cartoonist Michel Kichka, and Patrice Valid, the manager of Hypercacher who was wounded in the Muslim terrorist attack on the supermarket.
Maisonnave told the gather that “radical Islam is our common enemy. Terrorism is terrorism no matter where it happens in the world.” A night earlier, during a memorial service in central Paris, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls insisted there was no justification for the attacks.
Patrice Valid, who has since moved to Israel, recalled the events of that fateful day. “The terrorist instilled in us fear. He wanted to kill us because we were Jews,” he explained. “But I did not move to Israel out of fear. I came home.”
Carole Nuriel, director of the ADL in Israel, said it was now clear that the anti-Semitic and anti-Western terrorism plaguing Europe had nothing to do with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as is so often claimed.
“The conflict is just an excuse,” stated Nuriel. “Understanding that anti-Semitism affects not only the Jews, but any society in which it exists is very important.”

From the City of Lights to the Festival of Lights (French Jews making aliyah) - CBN NEWS Chris Mitchell

From the City of Lights to the Festival of Lights

  CBN NEWS Chris Mitchell

BEN GURION AIRPORT, Israel – This year more French Jews immigrated to Israel than ever before. Many believe it could be just the beginning of an even greater wave of French immigration.
In this latest round, nearly 50 French Jews arrived at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport. These new arrivals are just the tip of the iceberg, with many more French Jews considering immigrating to Israel.
"We'll only be seeing a few dozen immigrants tonight, but throughout 2015 we have had the pleasure to welcome in Israel 8,000 immigrants from France," Jewish Agency spokesman Yigal Palmor told CBN News. "Last year, 2014, there were 7,200. There's a mass immigration to Israel from France."
Terror attacks in Paris this year –- especially the attack on a Kosher delicatessen -– along with rising anti-Semitism, spurred Jews in France to act.
"Speaking last week to two young French olim (new immigrants) who had just come, they said to us that there isn't a person in France -– Jew in France -– that isn't talking about coming to live in Israel to some extent," Sharon Handler with the Jewish Agency told CBN News.
Newly arrived French immigrant Dan Ammar told CBN News, "Right now, we can't live Judaism the way we would like to."
"We are careful not to wear our kippa (skullcap) in the streets. We continue living; you don't stop living, like in Israel they don't stop living with all the terror attacks. In Israel we will be able to live our Judaism the way we want."
Alexandra Schneider said fear is not the only reason for coming.
"The French Jews, yes, the French Jews are afraid, (but) it's not the only reason they want to come to Israel," Schneider told CBN News. "It's also about conviction because we think that for the Jews in France and for young people, Israel is the future."
Ammar led the lighting of the Hanukkah candles for the group that came from the City of Lights, Paris, to the Festival of Lights.
The new Israeli citizens also enjoyed sufganeot, a traditional donut served during the holiday. The immigrants –- from toddlers to senior citizens –- now start their new life in the land of Israel.
"Tonight we got to see the unfolding of the faithfulness of the God of Israel to His people as was promised to the prophet Isaiah," Nicole Yoder with the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem told CBN News. "He's going to bring His people back to Israel from the north, the south, the east and the west. And tonight we got to welcome people from the West."
"This is it. This is where the Jews belong," Handler said. "The Bible, this is where we're supposed to be. There's no question about it. This is the land of the Jews."

More French Jews Aim To Make Aliyah In Wake Of Paris Terror Attacks

“Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!” (Psalm 122:7)
“The time now is ripe to help French Jews immigrate,” Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, founder and president of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, told Tazpit Press Service (TPS).
Rabbi Eckstein’s organization, largely known for supporting Jewish communities in poverty such as those from the former Soviet Union, has also been involved with helping Jews immigrate to Israel. “We talked to the French community and its leaders and there are tens of thousands of Jews in France who want to get out and come to Israel,” Eckstein said.
Rabbi Eckstein told TPS that his organization will aim to help those Jews in France who would like to immigrate but have been discouraged from doing so because of various stumbling blocks. “They don’t have a job waiting for them in Israel and they don’t have money for an apartment,”  Eckstein explained.
“We need to provide them with more than a plane ticket in order to incentivize and motivate more Jews to come from France to Israel,” continued Eckstein . “What we are providing for the mainline Jewish community is the aliyah funds with the benefits and the plans that we have.”
The terror attacks over the weekend pushed some Jews in France who had already been in contact with Rabbi Eckstein’s organization, to speed up their Aliyah plans. “Two couples wanted to advance and to come quicker than our scheduled Aliyah flight next month in December,” noted Eckstein. “They arrived on Monday and although they did not come on a chartered flight, they still received all the benefits that we provide new immigrants with.”
Rabbi Eckstein told TPS that his organization is already developing plans to help other French Jews over the next month. “We have the money and the resources to do so and we were able to help move these two families overnight,” Eckstein said. “If we have to adjust now and have a flight in both November and December, we can do that.”
Rabbi Eckstein also informed TPS of the support his organization is now providing for the security of Chabad houses in France. Chabad houses are Jewish community outreach centers that are managed and run by the Lubavitch Hasidic movement.Get Your Own Personal Israel Flag Today!
“In light of the terrorist attacks in France, we’re now funding all of the 25 Chabad houses in the country,” Rabbi Eckstein told TPS.
Rabbi Eckstein elaborated on the need to concentrate on Chabad houses. “Jewish institutions are being secured by the police of France and by the Jewish institutions themselves, but the Chabad houses are not,” explained Rabbi Eckstein. “Chabad is not always recognized by the local Jewish community or even the police as a Jewish institution as it is not your typical synagogue or dayschool.”
“Chabad also doesn’t have access in the same way to the resources that the Jewish community as a whole does,” Eckstein added.
Rabbi Eckstein’s fellowship was already providing support for the Chabad house in Toulouse after the 2012 terrorist attack at a Jewish school in the city.
Meanwhile, Rabbi Eckstein told TPS that the organization will determine what else it can provide for Jews in France. “We have our staff there on the ground obviously and we’re seeing that there’s certainly an anxiety. We’re taking a good look as to how much more we can do.”
Israel has experienced a significant increase in immigration from France over the last few years. Since 2009, more than 20,000 Jews in France have moved to Israel. Last year alone, at least 7,200 Jews in France immigrated to Israel.

Medabrim LogoPlease click above to view the newest video from the Yeshua Project.  The L-rd is truly moving in our midst and although "we all like sheep have gone astray and each of us has turned to his own way," we, the Jewish people, at last, are turning to our Messiah!

Two days ago we posted a similar video in Hebrew on Facebook.  In less than a day we had more than 15,000 Israelis viewing the videos.  We're up to 35,000 views at the time of this writing.  It's a new day in Israel!

Please join us in getting the word out to Israelis.  We have found that for every $100 dollars we spend on advertising in social media (Facebook, Youtube, etc.) another 530 Israelis will click on the videos and view them.  Thank you for your love, prayers and support!
כלנו כצאן תעינו איש לדרכו פנינו ויהוה הפגיע בו את עון כלנו
Eiffel TowerPraise the L-rd for the approximately 80 French speaking fishermen who agreed to share our "Supernatural or Just Remarkable" booklets and Aliyah flyers with French Jews.  Some of these precious believers had never heard of Aliyah before so it was truly awesome to see them catch the vision and say "Now we understand and we want to help!"

Marais
Floor etchingWe went to the streets again and spoke with many French Jews about Aliyah.  Unlike our winter visit to Paris, the hearts of the Jewish people were not so open.  Many knew that they should make Aliyah but it's been so quiet lately so perhaps it will be ok. When we saw this nazi sign etched in the floor of the building we stayed in, we knew that things were not so quiet and ok...

Hyper Cacher MarketAt the Hyper Cacher Supermarket where the massacre occurred this past January, we were able to encourage many Jews to come home.  The owner, who already made Aliyah, welcomed us with much enthusiasm!

St Louis wedding 1What a joy to sing at a Jewish wedding and then share Messiah with the beautiful bride!  We've already seen the fruit of this journey in that one dear French family whom we stayed with has already returned to Israel to seek housing and work...

Testimonies from French fishermen:
"In Paris we've given out the brochures among Jewish people and we'll need more for sure!  We already had good contacts and we were surprised to hear that many are thinking about Aliyah!"

"One day in Strasbourg I took my bicycle and placed your brochures in mailboxes where plates on doors had Jewish names; in total about 50 were distributed that day - Hallelujah!"

It's so clear with all that's happening in the world now that time is short.  And while we could certainly complain about how the enemy is working over-time to destroy the sanctity of marriage and bring about the Iranian deception, we choose instead to focus on sharing the only Good News there is - Yeshua is L-rd!  May He give all of us more and more divine appointments to share His love with precious souls who are in desperate need of His salvation!

Speaking of divine appointments, we had many, praise G-d!  While hiking in the Alps, a woman from China joined us.  A few years ago when she viewed the Jesus film, she wept but no one was there to tell her more.  She came very close to receiving Yeshua so we challenged her to ask the L-rd to reveal Himself to her, which she agreed to do.  *  At the Louvre Art Museum, we shared with a Jewish lawyer from New York City.  *  A young Korean couple who are searching for truth but not religion, repeatedly remarked that they were drawn to what we were saying about Yeshua.  Again we asked them to ask Yeshua to reveal Himself and they agreed.
We're planning a journey along Gulf Coast states this November so thank you for prayerfully considering us coming to minister in worship, Word and testimonies. We'd love to hear from you soon and hopefully see many of you then!
It's great to be home!

Since returning home, we continue to see divine favor and open hearts.  We met two Israeli campers and when I shared that I'm a Messianic Jew, one young man asked, "Is there another Messiah coming after Yeshua?"  I answered, "There's only one Messiah and Yeshua is the one who will return."  So he asked if Yeshua is our Redeemer and I replied yes.  Later I brought a booklet and CD to the camp site.  When the first young man showed the booklet to some other campers, they excitedly exclaimed that they were speaking about this very subject all day so they were grateful to receive the booklet and hear the CD - Hallelujah!

We are so grateful for your love, prayers and support as we reach the lost with the love of our Messiah!  Please keep our sons and their wives in prayer as they also share Messiah.  And since the attacks have been heavy lately, thank you for praying for the restoration of our three prodigal daughters.
Todah rabah - thank you so much!

We write L-rd and G-d in this way because it's a Jewish custom that Carolyn grew up with and it's done only out of reverence and honor for the name of the L-rd.  Thanks for understanding.

Israel: 3K French Jews to Make Aliya this Summer

Israel: 3K French Jews to Make Aliya this Summer

JERUSALEM, Israel -- Some 130 French Jews arrived in Israel Monday, with an additional 400 expected by week's end, in the first leg of a summer aliyah that's expected to bring up to 3,000 new immigrants from France, according to The Jewish Agency.
Another 80 French tourists who decided to make Israel their home also received their citizenship.
Summer is an ideal time for families with school age children to make aliyah -- immigrate to Israel under the Law of Return, which says if you have one Jewish grandparent, you're eligible for Israeli citizenship.
Last year, more French Jews immigrated to Israel than from any other country, in part as a result of rising anti-Semitism and a spate of recent terror attacks, including one this past weekend.
Israeli Absorption Minister Ze'ev Elkin welcomed the new immigrants "with open arms."
"Every plane that arrives in Israel strengthens Israel and strengthens the French Jews who have come home," Elkin said.
"As anti-Semitism increases, terrorism surges, and sick ISIS operatives carry out murders in broad daylight, Jews around the world know they have a country and a family to return to," Elkin said. "We welcome you with open arms."
Jewish Agency chairman Natan Sharanksy said Europe is becoming "an uncomfortable place for Jews."
"We are seeing an unprecedented wave of aliyah from European countries, which indicates not only how Europe is becoming an uncomfortable place for Jews, but even more importantly, the extent to which Israel is becoming a magnet for Jews interested in a meaningful Jewish life in freedom, personal security and a sense of belonging to a country that is integral to the future of the Jewish people," Sharansky said.
