Philadelphia Eagles Player Baptizes Five Of His Teammates

The Philadelphia Eagles are seeing something extraordinary happen: Christ is being exalted within their team. Chase Daniel, quarterback hosts a weekly Bible study. There is also a weekly Bible study that takes place at the practice facility, as well as prayer sessions among the teammates the night before they play a game. Daniel told ESPN: "This is by far the most spiritual team I've been on."

Then there is Trey Burton, who is constantly talking about his passionate faith in Christ on his twitter feed. He believes that Jesus healed him from injury after his teammates prayed for him. He had injured his calf and doctors told him that he would miss several weeks of play. So, the team laid hands."I had a couple guys here lay hands on me and pray on me and then I went home and had my wife and my kids and one of our pastor friends come and lay their hands on me, and immediately I woke up the next morning and I was totally fine," Trey said. 

Burton has also led five of his fellow team members to come and be baptized. Mychal Kendricks was one of these individuals. He had taken part in the prayer group and says he never read the Bible, but was encouraged to get baptized as an acknowledgment of his faith in Christ and he did.

"You look at the outside world and where some of us have come from and where our family and friends are or what we're able to do with the sport that we love, with helping people, being in a position to hold platforms that help others or enlighten others, or just make someone's day. There is some weight to it. And it's a blessing," he said.

"And you ask yourself, why? There are a million guys on the street right now that can do the same thing I can do, but I'm here right now because I'm supernatural in my thinking and supernatural in the way I feel. And when you're passionate about something and you can feel it in your heart and your soul, that energy radiates outwards ... and that's the power of God right there. That's something that is to be looked at."

Trump's Head Of Budget Voted To Defund Planned Parenthood

Donald Trump is assembling his team for the White House. One key position that needs to be filled is the head of the budget office. His choice is Mick Mulvaney of South Carolina, a fierce pro-life advocate, who also voted to defund Planned Parenthood, reports Life News. 

“We are going to do great things for the American people with Mick Mulvaney leading the Office of Management and Budget,” Trump said in a statement. “… With Mick at the head of OMB, my administration is going to make smart choices about America’s budget, bring new accountability to our federal government, and renew the American taxpayer’s trust in how their money is spent.”

Mulvaney has a 100-percent pro-life voting record from the National Right to Life Committee. On his website, he says he is “committed to promoting legislation that will protect the unborn.”

In a statement about his nomination, Mulvaney said:

“The Trump administration will restore budgetary and fiscal sanity back in Washington after eight years of an out-of-control, tax and spend financial agenda, and will work with Congress to create policies that will be friendly to American workers and businesses. Each day, families across our nation make disciplined choices about how to spend their hard earned money, and the federal government should exercise the same discretion that hardworking Americans do every day.”

Now, of course, there are accusations of Russian hackers helping the billionaire businessman win the White House. 

Franklin, however, would rather remain on the side of faith. “Do you think the Russians interfered with the outcome of the U.S. election or was it God?” Graham tweeted. "Graham understands the sovereignty of God and is right to attribute all things to His plan. Instead of fretting about world events, we should learn to rest in this providence," writes Scott Slayton at Christian Headlines.

President-elect Trump has nominated his new CIA chief, Mike Pompeo. An evangelical
Christian, Pompeo is a well-respected figure in the national security community. He is
also an army veteran, and a staunch pro-life advocate.

Two years ago, Pompeo gave a Church speech where he said Muslims who think Islam
is “the only way” needed to be dealt with. “This threat to America is from people who
deeply believe that Islam is the way and the light and the only answer,” Pompeo told
the church-goers, according to Press TV.

“These folks believe that it is religiously driven for them to wipe Christians from the
face of the earth,” he added. “They abhor Christians,” he said of a small minority
among Muslims.

Pompeo advised believers to “pray and stand and fight and make sure that we know
that Jesus Christ is our savior and is truly the only solution for our world.”

Following the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013, Pompeo took to the House floor to
call on Muslim leaders to denounce acts of terrorism committed in the name of Islam.
“It's been just under two months since the attacks in Boston, and in those intervening
weeks, the silence of Muslim leaders has been deafening,” he said.

Failing to condemn such attacks, he asserted, makes Muslim leaders “potentially complicit”
in the attacks. "When the most devastating terrorist attacks on America in the last
20 years come overwhelmingly from people of a single faith and are performed in
the name of that faith, a special obligation falls on those that are the leaders of that
faith," he said.

Pompeo is also a shrewd businessman, starting out at Thayer Aerospace, selling it
up and moving on to Sentry International, which makes equipment for oilfields.
Pompeo has also voted to defund Planned Parenthood, calling it the “largest commercial
provider of abortions in the United States.”

Trump said in a statement that he was proud to nominate Pompeo as director of the
CIA. “He has served our country with honor and spent his life fighting for the security
of our citizens.” The president-elect continued, “He will be a brilliant and unrelenting
leader for our intelligence community to ensure the safety of Americans and our allies.”

Pompeo said he was honored by the opportunity to serve and work alongside Trump
“to keep America safe.” “I also look forward to working with America’s intelligence
warriors, who do so much to protect Americans each and every day.”

President-elect Donald Trump has now appointed nine members to the White House, each of whom profess publicly to be Christians. Is this a huge answer to prayer? 

“For many years, we have prayed that God would raise up men and women of God to positions of leadership and influence in our country. However, since the end of the George W. Bush administration, there have been previous few answers to that prayer," writes Author and Pastor David Murray. "Who would have thought that Donald Trump might be the answer to that prayer?”

At the heart of these appointments is Vice President Mike Pence who has previously said “My Christian faith is at the heart of who I am” and “I’m a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order." Then there is Chief of Staff Reince Preibus, who has previously tweeted "Christ’s sacrificial work provides an example for us all, and we join with the Psalmist in saying ‘You make known to me the path of life.’"

Then we've got Attorney General Jeff Sessions (who is a Sunday school teacher at his family’s church), and Housing and Urban Development’s Dr. Ben Carson, who believes that God spoke clearly to him that Trump would be president. 

Further to this, there is Education’s Betsy DeVos, a Christian committed to bringing God's 'Kingdom' through schooling. Then we have newly-announced Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, EPA’s Scott Pruitt, CIA’s Mike Pompeo (whose family attends Eastminster Presbyterian Church), and Ambassador to UN Nikki Haley. They are all Christians!

An Egyptian archaeologist claims to have found the exact spot where God first spoke to Moses, reports World Israel News.

An Egyptian archaeologist claims he has unearthed the place where God first spoke to Moses and commanded him,“take off your shoes for you are standing on holy land.”

Dr. Abdul Rahim Rayhan told Al-Arabiya that Mount Sharia, also known as Mount Sinai, in the vicinity of the monastery of St. Catherine in the southern part of Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, is the place where the dramatic encounter occurred.

“All studies have confirmed that this is indeed the site where God manifested himself to Moses,” said Rayhan, general manager of research, archaeological studies and scientific publishing in the Sinai.

According to his studies, St. Catherine’s Monastery has a bush that is believed to be the very burning bush in which God first appeared to Moses. Although local traditions include this claim, no other archaeologist has come forward with such assertions, and Judaism has no definitive tradition on the location of the biblical Horeb, identified as the burning bush’s location in the Book of Exodus.

On the semifinals of The Voice, contestant Christian Cuevas (who is on 
Alicia Keys' Team), performed an incredibly powerful rendition of 
'To Worship You I Live," by worship leader Israel Houghton, reports 
Yahoo. It even featured a full worship choir. Wow!

Cuevas was clearly worshipping during the song, and his passion for 
the Lord could be sensed throughout the performance.

Keys said that the song was “a dream-come-true performance,” and 
Blake Shelton added, “Whether you’re doing an uptempo, fun song 
or a sad song or a song of faith and worship like you just did, you 
have the ability to make us feel ...That’s the mark of a great artist.”

Mike Pence is soon to be our new Vice President. Recently, he was at a Broadway performance, when he was directly addressed by the cast members. The actors confronted Pence as he was leaving, urging him to "uphold our American values." Trump immediately responded, tweeting that "Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen!"

Pence, however, has since responded saying that he 'wasn't offended' by the message. Pence said the boos he faced at the Broadway production of "Hamilton" were "what freedom sounds like," reports CNN. "I did hear what was said from the stage. I can tell you I wasn't offended by what was said. I will leave to others whether that was the appropriate venue to say it," he said.

Writing on Facebook, Franklin Graham subsequently called Pence a "class act," for this gracious response. "The Hamilton cast’s message to him that is getting so much media play didn’t upset him at all. He said that’s “what freedom sounds like.” I hope America realizes we’re getting a great vice president in this man, a man who will work for the good of the country."
