Franklin Graham Asks All Christians to Pray President Trump Today: 'Because We Need God's Help' - CBN News Jenna Browder

Franklin Graham Asks All Christians to Pray for President Trump Today: 'Because We Need God's Help'
05-31-2019
CBN News Jenna Browder
WASHINGTON – Franklin Graham is calling on Christians nationwide to pray for President Trump today.  The evangelist told CBN’s Faith Nation it’s not a political endorsement, but simply an opportunity to heed the Bible’s instruction and pray for the nation’s elected leader.
“This is not a political endorsement,” Graham said. “It’s just simply praying for the President. The Bible instructs us to pray for those who are in authority.”
Graham also dismissed critics who accuse him of weaponizing prayer, saying “prayer is a weapon.”
“We can go straight to the throne of grace,” he explained. “God hears prayer and answers prayer.”
Graham said "no president has been attacked" more than Trump and that "the only hope for him, and this nation is God."
"He's our President and if he succeeds we all benefit but if his enemies are allowed to destroy him and pull down the presidency it will hurt our entire nation," the evangelist said.
Graham's Prayer
In a short four-minute video posted to his Facebook page today, Graham thanked his followers for joining him to pray for President Donald J. Trump. He also explained how the Lord laid the idea on his heart and quoted the scripture from Psalm 9:9-10 which reads: “The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You."
"This isn't politics. This isn't an endorsement. It's praying for our commander-in-chief," Graham explains in the video. "He is the President of the United States and he needs our prayers. And God instructs us to do that."
The evangelist then invites the user to pray with him and then pray their own prayer "because we need God's help."
"Our Heavenly Father, You tell us in your word, the scripture, the Bible that we're to pray for those in authority. And that's why we're coming to you today," Graham prayed. "We ask for your favor on the President of the United States Donald J. Trump."
"Father, we would ask that you lead and guide the President as he makes decisions that affect not only all Americans but freedom loving people around the world," he continued. "Father, we just ask that you give him wisdom. Wisdom from you. Wisdom to deal with the problems we have at the border.  Wisdom to deal with the trading issues, trading partners, other nations. Wisdom as he meets with world leaders."
"This weekend he goes to London to meet with Her Majesty the Queen, Theresa May, their prime minister and the leadership of that nation, our closest ally," Graham said. "We ask that you guide each and every step that he takes."
"Father, we would also ask that you protect him from his enemies. Give him health and give him strength," he implored. "Today, I pray for the President's family, especially his wife Melania and his son Baron."
"Father, we're all flawed human beings. We're guilty of sin. We've all failed. We thank you that you sent your son Jesus Christ from heaven to this earth to take our sins upon the cross," Graham continued. "That he died and shed his blood for each and every one of us and that you raised him to life. And Father, we know that you will come into each and every heart who's willing to turn from their sins and put their faith and trust in your son Jesus Christ.  So we thank you for that."
"And Father, we pray for our nation. And Father, we ask that you would heal the heart of this country and that people would look to you for guidance and direction each and every day," he prayed. "And Father, we pray this in the name of your son Jesus Christ. May your will be done. Amen."
After concluding his prayer, Graham thanks the user for joining him and reminds everyone to continue to pray for the President and for those in authority -- all of them.
"They need our prayers. Only God can change the human heart," Graham said. "You can pass all the legislation. You can pass all the laws that you want, but only God can change the human heart. Our hearts need God in this country. And my prayer for the President today is that God would guide him and direct him -- but may he direct our country and may his will be done."
Kevin Jessip, chairman of the grassroots movement "Save The Persecuted Christians," is one of the 250 leaders who signed the proclamation asking all Christians to pray.
"I was really obliged & thankful for Franklin's stepping out on this issue so we joined," he told CBN News
"I believe that the Word of God will be lifted up in this nation and that's what we need," he added. "We need the national dialogue to include the word of God."
250 Christian leaders have signed the statement of faith for June 2, which reads:
"We the undersigned are calling for June 2 to be a special Day of Prayer for the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, that God would protect, strengthen, embolden, and direct him.
"We believe our nation is at a crossroads, at a dangerous precipice. The only one who can fix our country's problems is God Himself, and we pray that God will bless our president and our nation for His glory."

Ben Shapiro: Judeo-Christian Values 'Made the West Great' - CBN News Jenna Browder

Ben Shapiro: Judeo-Christian Values 'Made the West Great'
04-18-2019
CBN News Jenna Browder
WASHINGTON – Ben Shapiro is making quite a name for himself as a young conservative known for his sharp and to-the-point style and in his new book, The Right Side of History, he takes a deep dive into what made the Western world great. Faith, he points out, is paramount.
Shapiro knows what it's like to draw a crowd and even angry protests on some of the college campuses he visits, but he doesn't let that stop him from sharing his conservative views, and often running intellectual circles around those he goes up against.
Attempts to Undermine Shapiro

"I think there's a willing attempt to undermine the very basis of what I stand for," Shapiro told CBN News. "People deliberately lie about what it is that I am saying. People will suggest that, for example, that I'm a white supremacist when I'm militantly anti-white supremacist."
In fact, the 35-year-old Harvard educated lawyer is devout in his Jewish faith.

"The attempt to paint me as some sort of racist, the attempt to paint me as some sort of bigot or somebody who wants to hurt other people, I'm some sort of Fascist, those lies are the way the Left avoids the debate, unfortunately, the hard Left avoids the debate anyway," said Shapiro.
'The Right Side of History'
The debate is something he doesn't shy away from and in The Right Side of History, he makes the case for the Judeo-Christian values and Greek natural law that made the Western world great.
Shapiro argues that we're living in the "most prosperous time in human history," yet our society is becoming more angry and divided.
He says we have to investigate the roots of our civilization to explain this conundrum.
Shapiro contends those roots lie in Judeo-Christian ethics and Greek teleology, the idea that we can apply reason to the universe and come up with good moral and scientific answers.
Fighting Against the Chaos Undermining Western Civilization
"That combination, the push and pull between human reason and Divine revelation, that push and pull created the West," said Shapiro. "We have tried forcibly in many cases to undermine both of those basis for Western civilization, then we're surprised when we return to the chaos that proceeded them."
It's that chaos he's trying to fight against on his radio and podcast show, cable news programs and columns he writes for "The Daily Wire," which he founded.
As for why Christians should be especially interested in his new book, he says the answer is simple.
"It gives a rationale for why Judeo-Christian values lie at the root of Western civilization," explained Shapiro. "Because what we're hearing from all our relatives is that you're an idiot if you believe in revelation at Sinai or the Sermon on the Mount, that you're a fool if you believe the tenants of Judeo-Christianity, that if you believe any of those values that you're basically a dunce and that we could come to all of these values on our own."
He says this book is a rebuke of that notion.
"You do need to make certain fundamental assumptions about the nature of the universe that are rooted in a God-based orderly universe if you actually want to have a Western civilization worth fighting for and preserving," he said.

Rick Perry on Cabinet Bible Study and President Trump's Leadership: 'It Starts at the Top' - CBN News Jenna Browder

Rick Perry on Cabinet Bible Study and President Trump's Leadership:
'It Starts at the Top'
09-16-2018
CBN News Jenna Browder
WASHINGTON – Did you know members of President Donald Trump's Cabinet meet weekly for a
Bible study? CBN News was the first to report on it and according to one regular attendee, Secretary of
Energy Rick Perry, the group is still going strong.

"There are a number of men and women on the Cabinet who have a Bible study every Wednesday
morning," Perry told CBN's Jenna Browder. "Number one, it gives us an opportunity to see each other
outside of our normal work environment, but it's also sending a message that this administration bases
its life experiences on that, biblical values."

In addition to Perry, other attendees include Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Secretary of Agriculture
Sonny Perdue, Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos, and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development
Ben Carson. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is also part of the group. Vice President Mike Pence is a
sponsor and Capitol Ministries' Ralph Drollinger, who leads the Bible study, tells CBN News Trump
also gets a copy of the weekly teaching.

'You Always Have a Friend at the White House': Trump Sits Down With Faith Leaders

"It's the best Bible study that I've ever taught in my life. They are so teachable; they're so noble; they're
so learned," Drollinger said.

Meanwhile, Perry gives credit to Trump for his leadership on the faith front.

"It starts at the top from the standpoint of this is a president that's not afraid to stand up and say, 'Hey,
I'm not perfect, but I know the guy that is perfect and I'm trying to follow those instructions,'" Perry
told CBN News. "That's a really good place to start from my perspective."

Jenna Browder: "Faith seems to be front and center in this administration. I know that you're part of the
Cabinet Bible study. Tell us a little bit about that."

Secretary Rick Perry: "Well, you know, it starts at the top from the standpoint of this is a president that's
not afraid to stand up and say, 'Hey, I'm not perfect, but I know the guy that is perfect and I'm trying to
follow those instructions.' And that's a really good place to start from my perspective. There are a
number of men and women on the Cabinet who have a Bible study every Wednesday morning. It's my understanding, it's about the first time there's been a Cabinet Bible study in Washington, DC – the
Cabinet members come together in an organized way – in almost 100 years. So, you know, I think
that's a good thing. Number one, it gives us an opportunity to see each other outside of our normal
work environment, but it's also sending a message that this administration bases its life experiences on
that, biblical values. I always ask people who are, you know, sometimes critical, when I was the
governor of Texas about, you know, actions that we might have taken, and I said, 'You know, I try to be
instructed biblically and which one of the Ten Commandments do you not like?'"

'We Can't Wait to Pray!' Movement to Intercede for Candidates and Government Leaders Grows in US - CBN News Jenna Browder

'We Can't Wait to Pray!' Movement to Intercede for Candidates and Government Leaders Grows in US
09-04-2018

CBN News Jenna Browder

WASHINGTON – Scripture calls us to pray for our leaders, and with the midterm elections almost here, Christians across the country are gathering by the numbers to do just that.

CBN News spoke with several groups to get a feel for what appears to be a growing prayer movement sweeping the United States.

Maureen Bravo, one intercessor on the frontlines, started a prayer call-line during the 2016 election. She told CBN News that believers called in from all over the country to intercede for God's will. However, she noticed that once the election was over, the line went silent.

"And I thought, 'How crazy am I? I dialed this code so many times. How could I mess it up?'" Bravo told CBN's Jenna Browder. "I got back on. There was nobody there. And I sat down and I said, 'What's going on, God?' He said, 'The election's over. Everybody left the wall. Get back on the wall.'"

The 'Call to the Wall'

And that's exactly what she did.

"Our 24-7 National Strategic Prayer Call was launched two days after the election," Bravo explained.

Just like its name suggests, the line runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is definitely strategic. Volunteer "facilitators" start each hour praying for President Trump and his administration. From there they move on to specific topics, like the midterm elections.

"'We've launched the 'Call to the Wall' to pray for the midterm elections," said Bravo. "We are having major ministries across the United States opening their conference call lines and hosting calls praying for those that are coming in."

The response, she said, has been overwhelming.

"We're seeing a united prayer movement that I've never seen," Bravo said. "This is a time where there's a unity that I've never seen in the body of Christ."

Stephanie Martin is another prayer warrior "on the wall." Twice a week at 5:30 in the morning she hops on a call to lead a group of about 15 in prayer.

"It is the most exciting. We all say it's the best part of our week," Martin told CBN News. "We can't wait to get on the phone to pray. We just feel the power of God and we know that we are making a difference in our country."

She listed President Trump's Supreme Court nominations and his decision to relocate the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem as answered prayers.

Like Bravo, Martin and her prayer group are hopeful for the midterms.

"We just pray for anybody who loves the Lord and whose heart is to do, you know, His will. We just pray for God to get those votes out for him or her," Martin said.

Praying for a Great American Revival

Beyond November, her group is interceding for a great revival in America, like others that have broken out at different times in history.

"The scripture says to be persistent and not grow weary in well doing so we're going to keep asking," she said. "We're going to keep praying. We're going to be relentless until we see America, the heart and soul of this nation, healed and changed."

Bravo wants that for the country, too.

"A lot of people want to say, 'This person's causing the problems in our nation and somebody else is causing them or it's a political party or a movement.' The problem with our nation is that the Church has been sleeping and we are calling the Church, 'Wake up! Wake up!" Bravo said.

"When we start to do what we're supposed to do, everything else will fall into line. I really believe that," she added.

As for the 24-7 prayer line, she said she's not sure where God will take it from here.

"He just said, 'Get back on the wall.' It's like you're on a need-to-know basis. What do you want us to do today? Tomorrow will take care of itself, but right now we have a critical responsibility," Bravo said.

That responsibility: to pray for godly candidates to win in November and for all of those already in office.

'I Hope They See Jesus': Fox & Friends Host Shares Personal Testimony in New Memoir - CBN News Jenna Browder

'I Hope They See Jesus': Fox & Friends Host Shares Personal Testimony in New Memoir
06-07-2018
CBN News Jenna Browder
WASHINGTON – Fox & Friends host Ainsley Earhardt is known for speaking boldly about her faith
on air and is now sharing the personal details of her testimony in a new memoir.

Earhardt sat down with CBN's Jenna Browder to talk about The Light Within Me at Fox News
studios in New York.

She remembers when publisher Harper Collins approached her to write it.

"Honestly I thought, well aren't you like 80 years old when you write a memoir?" she laughed.
"Who am I? I don't want to sound self-righteous and I don't want to act like I have it all put together."

Finding Jesus Fills the Void in Her Life

She said she ultimately decided to do because she felt God was leading her to share her story.

Earhardt was born in South Carolina and writes about growing up in a Christian home,
but it wasn't until college that she came to know Jesus.

"I was in a Bible study, Henry Blackaby's Experiencing God, and I started to experience God as
I was reading the pages of this workbook and studying scripture with some friends, and we all
just searching to fill that void in our lives," she explained.

"Jesus, I Don't Know How to Pray..."

'Fox & Friends' Co-Host on Success, Motherhood, and Trusting God

It was at a frat party of all places when her life changed forever.

"In the middle of the party I looked around and I just said, 'I'm tired of this. I'm tired of living this
way and doing this almost every single night in college,' and I walked outside and sat down on the
stoop and I just said, 'Jesus, I don't know how to pray this but will you come into my life?'" she said.

Fox News Comes Calling

Throughout the book, Earhardt writes about seeking God's will. That's what she felt she was doing
while working at a CBS affiliate in San Antonio. Then in 2006, Fox News came calling.

"I wrote in my journal about how I was just hoping God would bless my words and give me favor
with the bosses here and that they would like me but only if it was God's will," she said.

While she landed the job in New York, it took years of working overnights, weekends and travel
before she made it to the Fox & Friends curvy couch.

Ignoring the Critics

One of the show's most loyal viewers is President Trump, who tweeted his support for Earhardt's
book, calling her a "truly great person" and the book "wonderful."

Mediaite recently criticized Earhardt, saying she's afraid to criticize Trump, a claim she disputes.

"I don't believe that's true," she said. "I asked him some tough questions in that last interview."

Earhardt says she tries her best to ignore the critics.

"The haters out there, I don't really pay attention to them because I feel like I'm doing the best
I can and I just don't want that negativity into my heart and into my mind," she explained.

Even with her current success, she's seen lows in her career and personal life, including a
devastating divorce. The year that followed she calls her "Jesus Year."

Life Turns Around After Devastating Divorce

"So Jesus died when he was 33 and when I was 33 I was coming out of a failed marriage and was
in a really low point in my life because I was really sad about that," she explained. "God healed me
so much during that period. So I loved that year because I leaned on God and then as a result, I
started checking things off my bucket list."

She says she started spending more time with family and friends and traveling. And then she
eventually met her now husband, Will. The two married in 2012. Three years later Earhardt
learned she was pregnant, but the pregnancy ended in miscarriage.

"I got through my miscarriage with God," she said. "And I just said, you know, I prayed and
prayed that God would give me a healthy baby and the baby wasn't healthy and wasn't viable
and so the baby is with God in heaven now and I know I'll see that baby again' and I went home
and I just cried that afternoon."

God Gives Hope for Another Baby

She says God not only got her through that, he gave her hope for another baby.

Hayden was born in 2015.

"She's such a joy," Earhardt said tearfully. "I pray that I live a very long life so that I can see her
get married and see her have children one day. She is such a joy. She is such an answer to prayer
and she's my little miracle. I just I thank God for her daily."

In terms of what's next, Earhardt says she's leaving that up to God.

"Well as far as the kids are concerned, that's up to God. I'll give that to God," she said. "I am 41
years old and I'm having the time of my life and I feel like even though I've gone through some
difficult times, the majority of my life has just been full of blessings and even the bad stuff,
I'm grateful for. In order to get to the mountain, you've got to go through the valley."

Ainsley's Hope: That "People See Jesus"

When it comes to her memoir, she says she hopes "people see Jesus."

"I hope it's not about Ainsley Earhardt," she said. "Everything in this book that I have done in my
life is because of God. It's because I asked him to come into my life and I asked him to steer my
car and to be in the driver's seat and that's what he's doing."

'Fox and Friends' Host Ainsley Earhardt: 'I Love Jesus and I Can't Hide That' - CBN News Jenna Browder

'Fox and Friends' Host Ainsley Earhardt: 'I Love Jesus and I Can't Hide That'
04-03-2018
CBN News Jenna Browder

NEW YORK – For more than a decade, "Fox and Friends" has dominated morning show ratings. In fact, 2017 was the most watched year for the show, averaging nearly 1.6 million viewers across America each day.

The show's leading lady, Ainsley Earhardt, recently sat down with CBN's Jenna Browder to talk
about its growing influence and the important role she plays.

To Earhardt's delight, one of the program's most loyal viewers is President Donald Trump. "I think it's
such a privilege," she said. "To know that he's interested in our show and that he enjoys our show,
I think that's a great honor."

Still, when it comes to the stories they choose to cover and how they talk about them, Earhardt said
it's really all about the viewers and not Trump.

"It's not because the president is watching that we need to have a certain narrative," she said.

Earhardt also opened up about her Christian faith.

"I'm so excited about what God has done in my life and I love Jesus and I can't hide that," she said.
"I really believe that if I ever did that I would lose it all. I think God has blessed me because He
knew I wasn't going to be afraid and I wasn't going to fear what the rest of the world thought."

That boldness for the Lord is something she wants to impart to her daughter, Hayden.

"She has the best personality," Earhardt said with a huge smile on her face. "When I walk in the
door I can hear her little voice and I hear her say, 'Momma!' and she runs from the playroom or
from her room or from wherever she is in the apartment and she runs and jumps into my arms."

Earhardt described the day Hayden was born as one of the best moments of her life.

"Other than becoming Christian, that weekend when she was born – she was born on a Friday –
was the best weekend of my life," she said.

Earhardt has written two children's books inspired by Hayden: Take Heart my Child and
Through Your Eyes.

If that's not enough, she has another book coming out later this month about her faith, aptly
named The Light Within Me.

"I am so grateful," said Earhardt. "I thank God all the time for it and when I'm walking into Fox,
after being here for 11 years, I pinch myself and just say, 'Really, God?' "

Paula White on White House Faith Agenda: If You Thought Last Year Was Big, Wait Until This Year - CBN News Jenna Browder

Paula White on White House Faith Agenda: If You Thought Last Year Was Big, Wait Until This Year
Jan. 4, 2018 CBN News Jenna Browder
WASHINGTON – Pastor Paula White, a key faith advisor to President Donald Trump, says Christians have a lot to look forward to in 2018 as it relates to the White House and its faith agenda.

Appearing on CBN's Faith Nation, White told hosts David Brody and Jenna Browder about some of the specific initiatives Trump's Faith Advisory Council is planning to unveil soon.

"We'll have about six initiatives – exciting, exciting things that, if we thought we did some things last year, boy, wait until this year," White said. "We'll be touching on everything from humanitarian, working of course on criminal justice reform, religious liberties, so many different aspects, mental healthcare, substance abuse."

Full transcription:

David Brody: "Paula, let's move ahead to 2018. Can you give us a little bit of a sneak peak as to what's on the agenda for this Faith Advisory Council coming up this year? Are there certain issues that are important, that are going to be tackled or touched upon by this council? You are obviously very instrumental in all of that, bringing all of that together."
Paula White: "David, the faith initiative and of the White House is really exciting. There should be some things rolling out early part of the year that we'll have about six initiatives – exciting, exciting things that, if we thought we did some things last year, boy, wait until this year. I mean, we'll be touching on everything from humanitarian, working of course on criminal justice reform, religious liberties, so many different aspects, mental healthcare, substance abuse. There are many things that are planned through the White House and the president to see these initiatives not just launch but successfully working with churches, organizations, synagogues, all people of faith. So, I'm excited to be a part of it and kind of to be at the helm working with the principles in the White House."

Brody and Browder also asked White about mainstream media criticism questioning the mental fitness of Trump and for her reaction to Trump's acknowledgment of Christ as "our Lord and Savior" in a December speech.

HHS New View: 'Life Begins at Conception' - CBN News Jenna Browder

HHS New View: 'Life Begins at Conception'
10-31-2017
CBN News Jenna Browder

The federal government now says life begins at conception.

The Department of Health and Human Services included its new stance in a five-year draft strategic plan covering 2018 - 2022.

"It would replace the Obama-era language which does not include 'conception until natural death,'" Arina Grossu with the Family Research Council told CBN News.

One key line in the plan states that HHS "accomplishes its mission through programs and initiatives that cover a wide spectrum of activities, serving and protecting Americans at every stage of life, beginning at conception."

So what are the implications of this new plan?

"It's important because it appears to be a policy shift that policies coming out of HHS are going to include this language," said Grossu, adding that the plan doesn't change abortion law but does show a new openness to the pro-life cause.

Many lawmakers on Capitol Hill have also praised HHS for its bold stance.

"I think it's great. I've always thought life begins at conception," Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., told CBN News. "We say we're proud of speech, property, contract, all these things, right to gun ownership. All of those are important but they all stem from a right to life and if you don't think that life is important from conception to the last breath, I think you really can't defend all the other rights that come from the right to life."

Since the plan is not yet final and will likely stir a negative reaction in pro-choice circles, HHS is cautious in its comments.

The agency gave this statement to CBN News:

"The HHS strategic plan is still in draft form… HHS obtained feedback from the public to refine and strengthen the draft strategic plan. At this time, public comments collected via the HHS website and Federal Register are under review."

"We've seen so much come out of the Trump administration," said Grossu.

And by the looks of it, more is on the way for the pro-life community.

FAITH NATION: Sean Spicer First Guest as CBN News Debuts 'Faith Nation' on Facebook - CBN News

Sean Spicer First Guest as CBN News Debuts 'Faith Nation' on Facebook
07-18-2017

WATCH OUR DEBUT EPISODE RIGHT HERE:
WASHINGTON – On Wednesday CBN News launched “Faith Nation,” a political Facebook LIVE show, debuting the new program with special guest White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer.
Hosts David Brody and Jenna Browder asked Spicer questions ranging from health care to his off-camera press briefings – his last on-camera appearance with reporters was in June.
“I think for a lot of folks, they're more interested in getting the clip to put on the internet, to put on their news,” Spicer said. “We're interested in making sure that we communicate with the American people, that we give the press an opportunity to get their questions answered but we're not here to make it a spectacle either.”
As “Faith Nation” was airing, President Trump was hosting Republican senators at the White House for a luncheon to discuss healthcare, something Brody brought up in the interview.
“He's going to make sure that he does everything that he can to get everyone on the same page,” Spicer said. “This lunch is another effort to do just that and if we have to then we'll move forward next week in some way, shape, or form to keep the promise that Republicans have made."
After Spicer’s interview, Brody and Browder also addressed the topics of faith in politics, the decision for President Trump to work closely with family members, and top trending faith stories.
"Faith Nation" will air on Facebook LIVE every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. ET.  CBN's Brody and Browder will focus each week on the top political issues that are significant to Christians, featuring significant audience engagement as viewers will have the opportunity to comment in real time during the live broadcast.
Each weekly show will feature "The District," with David Brody interviewing leading political figures and news makers in Washington, D.C.
It will also include regular segments from CBN News' Amber Strong and Ben Kennedy discussing today's top news stories and their significance to the faith community, man-on-the street interviews with CBN's Juan Garcia, and additional relevant news content from other CBN News reporters, including Caitlin Burke, Abigail Robertson and Jennifer Wishon.
"There are millions of Christians in America whose values are not being echoed by much of the media. CBN's 'Faith Nation' will provide these viewers with a platform to be informed about important stories that are relevant to them, as well as to give them a real voice in the national discussion of those issues," said Gordon Robertson, CEO of the Christian Broadcasting Network.
"'Faith Nation' is designed to tackle two topics we are told to not bring up at the dinner table: faith and politics," said Dana Ritter, CBN News Washington D.C. bureau chief.
"The show concept was hatched out of the idea that people still want to talk about it but are more comfortable discussing those issues on social media," she explained. "We see the need to engage the audience where they already are and Facebook allows us to do that while also giving the audience a voice."
"Faith Nation" is produced by Shoshannah Nunez in the CBN News bureau in Washington, D.C.

David Brody premieres new show on Facebook Live! Watch "Faith Nation"

CBN News

July 18, 2017

From the creators of The Brody File comes the new show, “Faith Nation.”

I'm excited to launch my new show on CBN News along with my co-host Jenna Browder. It debuts tomorrowWednesday July 19th at 12:30pm ET LIVE on the CBN News Facebook page. Tens of millions of people get their news from Facebook so what better place to do the show! Plus, we’ll be interacting with the audience as the show goes along.

It’s clearly a new day in Washington, D.C. God has blessed CBN with tremendous access at the White House and around the nation’s capital. So, expect interviews with major newsmakers as we delve into issues of faith and politics. The show will serve as a place for lawmakers in D.C. to break news and interact with a Christian conservative audience and many others! We’ll cover topics that Americans care about, told with truth, context and perspective. There is an underserved audience out there whose views are not reflected in the mainstream media. We hope and pray this show will fill that vacuum. Hope you’ll tune in!

Thanks,
David Brody
