STANDING WITH ISRAEL - Did Trump's Statement Set America Up to Receive a Genesis 12:3 Blessing? - KELLY MCDONALD JR. CHARISMA NEWS

U.S. President Donald Trump (WhiteHouse.gov)

Did Trump's Statement Set America Up to Receive a Genesis 12:3 Blessing?
9/26/2017 KELLY MCDONALD JR. CHARISMA NEWS
Standing With Israel

Last week, President Trump released a powerful statement in support of Jewish people all over the world as we enter into the Fall Holy Day seasons explained in Leviticus 23. Here is a quote:
As Jewish families across America and the world come together to mark the beginning of the year 5778 in the Jewish calendar, we join them in this time of reflection on the past year and hope for the year to come.
The High Holy Days are also an opportunity for us all to remember the extraordinary perseverance of the Jewish people throughout the centuries. They have endured unthinkable persecution, and yet, through it all, they have filled civilization with hope, love, and freedom.
Today we thank God for the ancient faith of the Jewish people and the unbreakable bond between the United States and Israel while wishing a blessed New Year to those preparing to commemorate the upcoming High Holy Days.
This statement was published on the White House website. While God's people prepare to celebrate His holy days, Trump's statement assures them that they have a strong ally. It sends a clear message to the enemies of Israel that they will also have to contend with the United States.

Passing the Torch ✡ "It Is You Who Shall Go With This People Into The Land" - Israel365

Be strong and resolute, for it is you who shall go
with this people into the land that Hashem swore
to their fathers to give them, and it is you
who shall apportion it to them.

Shabbat Inspiration

The above verse is taken from this week's Torah portion. In Synagogues all around the world during the Shabbat services, a specific portion from the Torah is read aloud. This week, a double portion called Nitzavim-Vayelech will be read. These portions tell of Moses passing the torch onto Joshua. He tells the people that Joshua will lead them into the land of Israel and offers Joshua words of encouragement. God does the same. Also in the portion, God tells Moses to record a song that the Children of Israel will learn, so they never forget that any suffering they experience is the result of their own actions. Moses addresses Joshua in front of all the people, telling him to be strong and courageous, for God will be with him as He leads the nation. God will not forsake him or the people, and He will give them the land to inherit. The Israel Bible offers unique commentary on the words of God, the Land of Israel and His people.

Why are the Jewish People in Jerusalem?

What does Jerusalem mean for the Jewish people?  Should our house be built when God's House lies in ruins? Do the nations have a place to worship in the restored Temple?

A Challenge to the Theory of Evolution

Fossilized footprints recently discovered in Crete have totally overthrown what scientists believed about the origins of the human species, but, one Jewish scientist explained, pose no problem for people of faith.

Prepare for the New Year

Mentioned throughout Jewish sources, the sound of the shofar was used at various times, including at the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai. Today, the shofar is used on the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, when that same sound has the unique power to awaken our souls to the presence of its Infinite source, and to renew a vision of the spiritual connection we are meant to build in this world. Many have the tradition to blow the shofar every morning in the month before Rosh Hashana to awaken our souls to come closer to God.

V’ahavta וְאָהַבְתָּ ‘…And you shall love…’ - "Stay the Course" - Hadassah from Jerusalem

V’ahavta
וְאָהַבְתָּ    ‘…And you shall love…’

Stay the Course
Hadassah from Jerusalem

“Pussy cat Pussy cat where have you been?”
“I went to London to visit the Queen.”
“Pussy cat, Pussy cat, what did you there?”
“I frightened the mouse under her chair.”

A familiar nursery rhyme. And a bit of silly little nonsense to entertain our children.

Little Pussy Cat had a mission, so to speak. He was going to London to visit the Queen. A very important mission actually. Taking whatever preparations necessary to make the journey, he was going to go before his Sovereign. A pilgrimage of sorts. And after planning and making provision and traveling with determination to be in her presence, what did he do? He frightened a mouse under her chair.

A very worthwhile endeavor. Something that was actually easy for him to do. Something that needed to be done.  But, he got distracted from the original plan. His eyes were off the Queen and his visit with her. He forgot his main purpose for coming.

These couplets have a very important lesson and warning for us all. Especially for those who love the Jewish people and Israel. Those who know the Lord’s heart to support, pray for and bless them.

There are many worthwhile and necessary causes in this world. So many in need of comfort and help and support. At every turn there are those crying out for what we have to give.

We are not to turn a deaf ear to their cries. We are to be the hands and heart and words of Y’shua to those around us. But there is a need to guard what the Lord has entrusted to us and not neglect it because of being distracted by the clamor of the world’s  need.

It is imperative that we not let the noise of the world keep us from hearing the voice of the Lord. For the tyranny of the urgent compel us to take on burdens that are not ours to carry.

Distraction means to divert or draw away. We can be so drawn away from our commitment to the Jewish people and Israel that we ‘forget’. Forget to intercede. Forget to share the Good News. Forget to support financially. Just plain forget that we are but a remnant within the Body of Christ.

And it can be very painful to have to weigh out our commitments. To get involved in some of those that are clamoring for our attention and not others.

I’ll give an example: There was a young man who was living in a foreign country where the Bible is not available. There were many Believers living in that country in order to share the Good News with the citizens. The people’s need was great and they were hungry for the Truth. This young man had been sent there specifically to be with the Jewish community. His work was massive and he was pretty much alone in that field.

When asked why he didn’t have Bible studies for the hungry neighbors and students around him his answer: "If I opened up for Bible study, I would be able to have 3-5 studies a day, seven days a week and it would be different groups all the time. I know how great the need is. But there are many here to do just that. Hundreds actually.  However, I am the only one here for the Jews."

He knew his purpose. As painful as it was to not have the Bible studies, if he did, there would be no one left for the Jewish people. He kept the course and trusted God to take care of the others. He did not allow distraction to sway him off his mission.

The Enemy knows God’s heart towards the Jewish people and Israel. He knows the importance of their redemption, restoration and return to the Land. He is well aware of the return of Y’shua and will try to thwart God’s plans.  He is the Master of Distraction, drawing us off course and diverting our energies. Of course the activities we would be engaged in can all be necessary, helpful and very righteous. But in the meantime…. What about the burden of Israel. Who will be picking up what we may lay down?

Proverbs 4:25-27 is our encouragement to live intentionally. Purposefully. And not be distracted by ‘the mouse under the chair’ so to speak.

"Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the left or the right…"

Listen. Know for certain your mission. Stay the course and resist distraction.
Shalom!

Supporting the Aliyah of the Jewish people - Jim Clint Family in Northern Ireland - August 2017 Update

Jim CLINT FAMILY UPDATE AUGUST 2017

Northern Ireland

Aug. 10, 2017

Isaiah 11:11-12, " On that day Adonai will raise His hand again, a second time, to reclaim the remnant of His people who remain from Ashur, Egypt, Patros, Ethiopia, Eilam, Shin‘ar, Hamat and the islands in the sea. He will lift a banner for the Gentiles, assemble the dispersed of Isra’el, and gather the scattered of Y’hudah from the four corners of the earth."

Shalom friends. July was been a very busy month for all of us, the LORD has started to use us in
different ways since we returned from Hungary in early June 2017. As Ezra’s representative in
Northern Ireland I’m excited about what the LORD is doing on the island of Ireland, both north and
south. In July I met with pastors from different denominations to tell them about Ezra’s work helping the Jewish people home to Israel. In the coming few months I have arranged to speak at fellowships both in the north and south of Ireland. Please pray that the LORD will use these meeting for His glory.

Bangor Worldwide Convention

From the 21st to 25th of August I will have an “Ezra UK” stand at the Bangor Worldwide Convention in the Presbyterian Church at the corner of Hamilton Rd and Prospect Rd. You’ll find me at the “Global Village” section at the large hall at the rear of the main church building from 18.00 to 19.15 each evening. Please come along to encourage and support us.

Aid to Israel

For this last month we’ve been collecting essential aid to help needy Jewish Olim (new immigrants)
arriving to Israel from Russia. Many of these Olim are poor and arrive with very little belongings. The items we need MUST new, or in very good condition, the list is as follows; “baby to adult clothing, children to adult shoes, duvet covers, pillow and bed sheets, and bathroom towels. Please NOTE that we can’t take heavy winter clothing or boots. Please consider standing with the Jewish people as they return home to their Land of Promise. Listen to Yeshua’s words concerning helping His brothers the Jewish people.

Matthew 25:35-40. "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you made me your guest, I needed clothes and you provided them, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’ Then the people who have done what God wants will reply, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?

When did we see you a stranger and make you our guest, or needing clothes and provide them? When did we see you sick or in prison, and visit you?’ The King will say to them, ‘Yes! I tell you that whenever you did these things for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did them for me…."

Ezra Representative from Turkey

An Ezra rep will be visiting Northern Ireland from the 8th to 17th of September 2017. Please come along to support them as they share about the work among the Jewish people in Islamic Turkey.
