Which Major West Coast City Is Being Overwhelmed By Rats, Drugs, Crime, Piles Of Garbage And Hordes Of Homeless People? - Michael Snyder

Posted: 21 May 2019 Michael Snyder

Can you name the major west coast city that has become a rotting, decaying hellhole and is being completely overwhelmed by rats, drugs, crime, piles of garbage and hordes of homeless people?  Of course San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, “all of them” and “any of them” would all be correct answers, but in this article we are going to talk about Los Angeles.

Once upon a time, millions of young Americans flocked to “sunny L.A.” in order to experience “the California Dream”, but these days Los Angeles seems to be on the cutting edge of many of our most critical societal problems.  L.A. has been known for Hollywood, the porn industry and world-class traffic congestion, but now it is also becoming famous for “rat-infested piles of rotting garbage”
Rat-infested piles of rotting garbage left uncollected by the city of Los Angeles, even after promises to clean it up, are fueling concerns about a new epidemic after last year’s record number of flea-borne typhus cases.
Even the city’s most notorious trash pile, located between downtown LA’s busy Fashion and Produce districts, continues to be a magnet for rats after it was cleaned up months ago. The rodents can carry typhus-infected fleas, which can spread the disease to humans through bacteria rubbed into the eyes or cuts and scrapes on the skin, resulting in severe flu-like symptoms.
Today, approximately 18.7 million people live in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, and many fear that the rat population may exceed the human population at this point.

When garbage and filth are everywhere, rats can breed exceedingly quickly.  In fact, under ideal conditions, two rats can become 482 million rats in just three years.

So you would think that L.A. would want to get this rat problem under control, but an NBC Los Angeles investigation discovered that “there is no plan or program to control the growing rat population”
But in Los Angeles, the I-Team learned there is no plan or program to control the growing rat population that feasts at trash piles like the one on Ceres Avenue.
“It’s something that we’ll look into,” said Pepe Garica, of Los Angeles’ bureau of sanitation.
Lovely, eh?

In a previous article, I noted that the rats have now even conquered Los Angeles City Hall
Officials at Los Angeles’ City Hall are considering ripping all of the building’s carpets up, as rats and fleas are said to be running riot in its halls.
A motion was filed by Council President Herb Wesson on Wednesday to enact the much needed makeover amid a typhus outbreak in the downtown area.
Wesson said a city employee had contracted the deadly bacterial disease at work, and now he’s urging officials to investigate the ‘scope’ of the long-running pest problem at the council building.
Meanwhile, the homeless population continues to multiply as well.

The number of homeless people living in L.A. has risen by at least 75 percent since 2012, and authorities cleaned up nearly 15,000 homeless encampments last year alone…
Nearly 15,000 homeless encampment cleanups were conducted last year in Los Angeles, a process that begins with officers clearing people from the area before sanitation workers remove trash and other items.
The cleanups cost taxpayers millions of dollars, but some residents who live near the encampments said they are usually repopulated soon after sanitation crews are done. It’s a seemingly endless cycle that leads neighbors to ask whether there are better ways to spend that tax money.
In other words, Los Angeles is cleaning up an average of 41 homeless encampments every single day.

Overall, Los Angeles spent a whopping 619 million dollars on the homeless problem last year, but it just continues to get even worse.

Of course wherever there is homelessness there is crime, and those that live in downtown L.A. are getting fed up
“Everyone living, working in, or visiting downtown has noticed the rapidly deteriorating conditions,” downtown resident Catherine Tomiczek told the committee. She said a friend was beaten and robbed on the street and a neighbor was stabbed in her building.
Councilman Paul Krekorian, who heads the committee, said he would request the information sought by the group. Major crimes downtown increased 6.7 percent this year compared with the same period in 2018, according to LAPD crime data through April 13.
Much of the violent crime is fueled by the drug trade, and according to DEA agent Bob Thomas Los Angeles is definitely a national hub for drug activity…
In a middle class neighborhood in Los Angeles a house is surrounded by crime tape. A young man had lost his life to drugs inside.
It’s happened a record 72,000 times last year in the United States and Los Angeles is a big part of the problem.
“Drug cartels send their stuff to LA, where it’s distributed across the nation,” DEA agent Bob Thomas said.
Further up the California coastline, northern California is being absolutely overwhelmed by a meth epidemic that is completely out of control.  Just consider these shocking numbers
Since 2011, emergency room visits related to meth in San Francisco have jumped 600% to 1,965 visits in 2016, the last year for which ER data is available. Admissions to the hospital are up 400% to 193, according to city public health data. And at San Francisco General Hospital, of 7,000 annual psychiatric emergency visits last year, 47% were people who were not necessarily mentally ill — they were high on meth.
“As California goes, so goes the nation” is a phrase that people like to use, but we better hope that it isn’t true, because California is going down the toilet.

And as our planet continues to become increasingly unstable, scientists assure us that it is only a matter of time before “the Big One” hits the state.  Earlier today, northern California was shaken by a magnitude 3.8 earthquake, and one of these days a truly catastrophic quake is coming.

In recent years, approximately five million people have packed up and moved to another state, and you can’t really blame them for leaving.

At this point I can’t really think of any reason why anyone would want to live in California.
Can you?

San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle: 3 Formerly Beautiful West Coast Cities Have Literally Been Transformed Into Hellholes - Michael Snyder

Posted: 15 Apr 2019 Michael Snyder

Once upon a time, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle were three of the most beautiful cities on the entire planet.  I know that this is hard to imagine today, but there was a time when millions of people eagerly moved out to the west coast for a better quality of life.  Sadly, the reverse is true today.

Millions of people are moving away from our major cities on the west coast because of the hellholes that they have become.  A former Seattle police officer that was recently interviewed by a reporter from KOMO News was very honest about the fact that he would never want to raise a family in Seattle because of the hellhole that it has become.  Every night he saw the worst of Seattle firsthand, and he finally felt forced to quit because city officials would not allow him to effectively do his job.

An explosion of homelessness in our major west coast cities has fueled a wave of crime, drugs and human degradation unlike anything we have seen before, and in many cases, our law enforcement officials have their hands tied and are literally being prevented from cleaning up the streets.

Right now, more than half a million people are homeless in the United States.  As the economy gets worse, that number will continue to rise.

Many homeless Americans are law-abiding citizens that have just had a tough break. Everyone gets knocked down in life at some point, and we need to do all that we can to help those law-abiding citizens get back on their feet.

But because of their ultra-liberal policies, some of the major cities on the west coast have become magnets for drug addicts, serial criminals, sex offenders, illegal immigrants and people that have simply heard about all of the “free benefits” that are being offered.  As a result, the streets of those cities have become a showcase for the social decay that is sweeping across our nation.

Let’s start with San Francisco.  According to one report, it is home to more than 28,000 homeless people, and that would make San Francisco the city with the third largest homeless population in the United States.

Others feel like that number is way too low, and the truth is that it is exceedingly difficult to count the homeless.

After all, how are you supposed to accurately count people that don’t want to be counted?

What we do know is that San Francisco is a huge magnet for drug addicts.  The city handed out 5.8 million free syringes in 2018, and that number would seem to suggest a homeless population far in excess of 28,000.

And as all those drug addicts aimlessly wander through the streets, many of them use those streets as their own personal toilets.  Over the past 8 years, more than 118,000 reports of human feces in the streets have been filed with city authorities
Since 2011, there have been at least 118,352 reported instances of human fecal matter on city streets.
New mayor, London Breed, won election by promising to clean things up. However, conditions are the same or worse. Last year, the number of reports spiked to an all-time high at 28,084. In first quarter 2019, the pace continued with 6,676 instances of human waste in the public way.
In addition to endless piles of poop, the drug addicts are also endlessly committing property crimes in order to pay for their drug habits.

Each year, there are more than 6,000 property crimes per 100,000 residents in San Francisco.  That is about four times the rate of property crime that New York City has reported.

Mayor Breed would like to get a lot of these homeless people off of the streets, but finding a place to put them has been problematic.  Residents of one wealthy liberal neighborhood are currently fighting like mad to keep a proposed homeless shelter away from their gated mansions…
A wealthy liberal neighborhood in San Francisco whose residents cast the most votes for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election is fighting against a proposal to build a new homeless shelter near their gated mansions.
Mayor London Breed has sponsored legislation to fast track a homeless shelter that would house 200 people. However, wealthy liberals living in the affected area have set up a GoFundMe to stop the project which has already hit $80,000 of its $100,000 target.
Things are certainly not any better in Los Angeles.

According to the same report mentioned above, L.A. has nearly twice as many homeless people as San Francisco
Los Angeles has the second largest population of people exploring homelessness, according to a new report.
The LA area contains 55,200 homeless people, according to data released by the Bay Area Council Economic Institute.
The homeless population in L.A. has surged 75 percent in six years, and this has happened during a time when the economy has been relatively stable.

So how bad are things going to become when the economy starts getting really bad?

When I was running for Congress, one of the people that came to help the campaign had spent a lot of time in some of the worst parts of Los Angeles.  He told me about the public drug use, the constant crime and the human degradation that is seemingly everywhere.  This greatly saddened me, because Los Angeles was once a magnificent city.  In fact, at one point in my life I wanted to live there.

But not anymore.  Today, millions of people are leaving California and never looking back because of the utter hellhole the entire state has become.

Further up the coast, the city of Seattle is experiencing similar issues.  Not too long ago, a veteran Seattle reporter named Eric Johnson produced an hour-long documentary
entitled “Seattle Is Dying”, and if you have not seen it yet I would strongly recommend taking the time to watch it.

Since it was first released, it has been viewed almost 2 million times on YouTube
In the past two weeks, Seattle Is Dying has garnered 38,000 shares on Facebook and nearly 2 million views on YouTube. The report has clearly resonated with anxious, fearful, and increasingly angry Seattle residents. Exhausted by a decade of rising disorder and property crime—now two-and-a-half times higher than Los Angeles’s and four times higher than New York City’s—Seattle voters may have reached the point of “compassion fatigue.” According to the Seattle Times, 53 percent of Seattle voters now support a “zero-tolerance policy” on homeless encampments; 62 percent believe that the problem is getting worse because the city “wastes money by being inefficient” and “is not accountable for how the money is spent,” and that “too many resources are spent on the wrong approaches to the problem.”
One of the moments in the documentary that really touched me was when a concerned resident described how drug addicts have been leaving needles and human waste in the graveyard near his home.  The homeless have erected tents all around the graveyard, and he can clearly smell urine whenever he walks down the streets.

He would like to fix things, and he is fed up enough that he has decided to run for city council.  But he is facing an uphill battle, because Seattle has been entirely taken over by socialists.  The following comes from Mac Slavo
The entire video is about an hour long, but it is pretty easy to see where Seattle continues to go wrong. A heavy tax burden, regulations that push out businesses, and a power-hungry group of totalitarian sociopaths have been slowly eroding the city. The decay of Western civilization can be seen up and down the entirety of the West coast. Some say it’s by design, others disagree. But the commonality is that all of the cities are being pushed into poverty by illusions and lies of socialists. Calling Seattle anything other than a leftist’s paradise would be inaccurate. The city has all of the laws the socialists want, yet it’s killing itself because of it.
In life, the decisions that we make have consequences, and San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle are now experiencing the consequences of decades of incredibly foolish decisions.
But of course they are far from alone.  All across the country there are thousands of communities where social decay is exceedingly evident, and it is getting worse with each passing year.

If we want to change the trajectory of our future, we have got to start doing things differently.

Because if we keep doing the same things, we are going to keep getting the same results, and our country is going to continue falling apart right in front of our eyes.

This City Is on the Verge of Implosion Following Its Spiritual Departure From the Faith of Its Founders - DAVID LANE CHARISMA NEWS

This City Is on the Verge of Implosion Following Its Spiritual Departure From the Faith of Its Founders

DAVID LANE  CHARISMA NEWS
Righteousness exalts, elevates, dignifies, ennobles, whereas sin does the opposite: it disgraces, degrades, lowers, sullies. Proverbs 14:34 mentions this in connection to a nation, but it applies equally to a state, a city or an individual.
San Francisco is on the verge of implosion following its spiritual departure from the faith of its founders.
"Once one of the most beautiful cities in America, San Francisco is now a bastion of progressive lunacy," according to a SaveSanFrancisco video posted to YouTube. "The law is basically ignored, the homeless are encouraged to camp out, convicted felons are given jobs over honest citizens, our military is hated and disrespected and droves of gay activists walk the streets stark naked. Public decency laws, federal immigration laws and plain common decency has been replaced by a city that no longer respects itself or others."
A bulwark of self-indulgence and wantonness, San Francisco has long been a magnet for radical secularists. It is today a place where present-day prophets of Baal are prevailing in their contest with biblical God Jehovah. The high toll of such a subculture will be apparent by now. Secularism's status and position are entirely in the hands of her devotees.

The beautiful Bay Area tells a terrible tale, terrible in what it tells about life without the godly restraint of God.
For its improvidence, San Francisco's past progressive mayoral leadership could be in for a reckoning.
When God withdraws His sustaining hand, "the madness that is in our hearts by nature at once asserts itself, gains the upper hand, and leads us into a course of folly," A.W. Pink writes in The Life of Elijah.
"God cannot be at peace with guilty rebels until the claims of His throne have been met. Only upon a righteous basis can peace be established," Pink says.
Providence founded, nurtured and advanced an experiment that became known as the American experiment, to discern if a people could self-govern. The key question was whether a moral and religious people would be governed by conscience when in the possession of a Constitution based on religious liberty and free speech. Could this be buoyed by the pillars of "morality and religion as indispensable supports," as George Washington suggested in his Farewell Address, September 19, 1796?
The battle in California rages between two great faiths, two religions, Christianity versus secularism. Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Lord of life, established true Christianity. Secularism, on the other hand, is not born from God.
Under the sway of pietism, Christians abandoned the public square over the last 75 years. Pietism rightly stresses the importance of an individual's relationship to God, but wrongly reduces "the scope of the Christian's concern to his or her personal life, family life and the affairs of the church as an ecclesiastical organization."
Because of this, the foundation of a godly nation has not been maintained.
"Indeed, it was permitted to be well-nigh destroyed. So the Constitution and its Christian principles [are] increasingly ignored in practice. Hence, the size and scope of civil government [has] increased; power [has] centralized in the national government; and the rule of law was abandoned in favor of the arbitrary rule of men," Dr. Archie P. Jones writes in Foreword to The Christian Life and Character of the Civil Institutions of the United States.
Which brings us to Gavin Newsom. In March 2000, 4.6 million California citizens voted to ban same-sex marriage (Proposition 22 - 61 percent - 39 percent). The Act added Section 308.5 of the Family Code, which read "Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."
In February 2004, newly elected San Francisco Mayor Newsom elevated himself above the law and God by "turn[ing] City Hall into [a] wedding chapel for 4,000 couples by authorizing same-sex marriage against state law."
A single San Francisco politician thus bestowed upon himself the right to override the vote of 4.6 million Californians. His tenure as San Francisco Mayor presents clues as to how he will lead the state if elected governor in November.
The San Francisco Chronicle cheered, "Gavin Newsom can't wait to get back in the driver's seat." More than anything else, the year 2004 showed Mr. Newsom's true face. Besides abandoning the rule of law, he committed adultery with his best friend's wife.
Universal health care is yet another of California Lt. Governor Newsom's pet projects. Newsom's boisterous endorsement of universal health care for the Golden State might just evoke another gold rush, this time of medical tourists and residents from other states swarming in to take advantage of the medical freebies. It goes without saying that California doesn't have the way or means of becoming a hatchery welfare state for the world's 7.4 billion population ... regardless of what spin Mr. Newsom puts on it.
"Government has made California unsustainable. $1.3 trillion in debt is the amount to which California governments admit. Other studies believe it to be more. Indeed, one study says it is actually $2.3 trillion and a recent Hoover Institute stated that there is over $1 trillion in pension liability alone, or $76,884 per household. Incredibly, there are 4 million current pension beneficiaries, a number that continues to grow and that exceeds the total population of 22 states."[7]
"The trouble with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money," as Margaret Thatcher aptly summarized.
Californian evangelical and pro-life Catholic Christians have come to their providential kairos moment for decision and action.
Pink says in well in Exposition of the Gospel of John: "The one who has found mercy with the Lord is now put to the proof: his faith, his loyalty, his courage must be tested. The profession of our lips amounts to nothing at all if it be not confirmed by the character of our lives."
California's Gideons or Rahabs must begin to stand.

Strong Earthquakes Hit San Francisco And Mount St. Helens And Experts Warn They May Be Foreshocks For ‘Something Larger’ - Michael Snyder THE ECONOMIC COLLAPSE BLOG

Posted: 04 Jan 2018  Michael Snyder  THE ECONOMIC COLLAPSE BLOG

Just when it seemed like things may be settling down, two very unusual earthquakes have hit the west coast within the past couple of days.  A 4.4 magnitude quake struck Berkeley, California just prior to 3 AM on Thursday morning, and a 3.9 magnitude earthquake hit Mount St. Helens in Washington state on Wednesday.  Overall, there have been 68 earthquakes in the vicinity of Mount St. Helens since New Year’s Day, and there have been a total of 629 earthquakes in the state of California within the last 30 days.

Could it be possible that all of this activity is leading up to a historic seismic disaster on the west coast?

The 4.4 magnitude earthquake along the Hayward fault very early on Thursday jolted people out of bed all over the San Francisco area
A strong 4.4 magnitude earthquake has rattled the Bay Area shortly before 3 a.m.
USGS is reporting the quake was centered in Berkeley. On KRON4’s real time earthquake map it shows the epicenter.
The quake struck at 2:39 a.m. and was centered near the Claremont hotel. The earthquake had a preliminary depth of 8 miles, according to USGS.
This wasn’t a soft and gentle earthquake that everyone kind of laughs about after it is over.
Rather, this was the kind of extremely intense earthquake that puts the fear of God into people.  In fact, one Bay area resident said that it “felt like a truck hit my house”
“I was actually awake putting my shoes on for work. It felt like a truck hit my house from the back which pushed my against the staircase railing, the walls were cracking and threw my cell phone and keys down the stairs. Pretty scary”
If this was the worst quake in this particular swarm, it won’t ultimately be that big of a deal.
However, USGS Geologist David Schwartz is warning that this 4.4 magnitude earthquake could potentially be “a foreshock of something larger”
“It is centered on about a five-mile-long section of the Hayward Fault that in the past 10 years has produced 30 earthquakes of magnitude between 3-4,” he told KPIX 5. “So it is a hot spot along the fault and this morning’s earthquake was the largest of that group.”
Schwartz said the real question in the hours after the quake was “is this a foreshock of something larger? That’s the concern.”
I have been writing about the shaking that has been happening on the west coast quite a bit lately, but I don’t think that people understand the seriousness of what we are facing.
Scientists assure us that the “Big One” is coming, and when it does arrive the devastation will be absolutely off the charts.  Just consider the words of seismologist Peggy Hellweg
Speaking to Daily Star Online, seismologist Peggy Hellweg, from the University of California, said the region is not prepared to deal with the fallout from such an earthquake.
She said that a magnitude 7 or greater earthquake could kill “tens of thousands of people”.
In financial terms, such a quake would likely cause “tens to hundreds of billions of dollars in damage”, she said.
And remember, she is talking about a magnitude 7 earthquake in her scenario.

A magnitude 9 earthquake would be many, many times more powerful, and it would easily be the worst natural disaster in the recorded history of the United States.

Meanwhile, Mount St. Helens was hit with a very unusual 3.9 magnitude earthquake on Thursday, and some believe that this could be a sign that the volcano is “recharging”
A series of 68 tremors, peaking with a magnitude 3.9 quake, have been detected in Washington state by scientists since New Years day.
The 3.9 quake is the second largest since 1981, the year after the natural disaster which killed 57 people and came minutes after a magnitude-5.1 earthquake.
Last month, seismologists at the University of Washington logged more than 80 quakes, four times as many as the average.
Earthquake swarms at Mount St. Helens are not unusual, but what we have seen over the first four days of 2018 has definitely gotten the attention of seismologists.

They are hoping that things will calm down at the volcano, but one seismologist did warn that “a larger quake could follow within 48 hours.

We haven’t had a major volcanic eruption in the United States in a very long time, and so there is a lot of complacency out there right now.

But we should remember that the eruption of Mount St. Helens in 1980 was “the deadliest and most economically damaging volcanic event in the history of the United States.”  The following comes from Forbes
Mount St. Helens is most commonly known for its major eruption in 1980, the deadliest and most economically damaging volcanic event in the history of the United States. The stratovolcano is situated just 96 miles from Seattle and 50 miles from Portland, making an eruption especially dangerous.
And Mount St. Helens is certainly not the only threat.  Personally, I am so concerned about a potential eruption of Mount Rainier that I even included one in my novel.

With each passing year it appears that our planet is becoming increasingly unstable.  Many believe that we have entered a time when seismic activity will be much higher than it has been previously, and that is going to have dramatic implications for our society.

Our tech industry is very heavily concentrated along the west coast.  When the “Big One” does finally strike, it could literally crash our economy overnight.

What the day arrives, are you ready for what will happen next?

Prophetic Word for 2017: Get Your Hopes Up! by Doug Addison IDENTITY NETWORK

Prophetic Word for 2017: Get Your Hopes Up! by Doug Addison

IDENTITY NETWORK

2017 is going to be a time in which many of the least likely people begin to awaken to God's love. A long-awaited start of global awakening and revival will take place. Many of these people have been rejected by the Church, but God is saying, "I have not forgotten them and their cries have reached my ears."

Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord. Psalm 117:1–2 (NIV)

The world is going to awaken to the awesome power of the Lord. There is a reason for all the turmoil and attacks. It is the enemy not wanting us to see what God is about to do. God is more powerful than Satan and some people have fallen into the trap of looking at the storms and believing this is judgment against us. God has a solution in the midst of it all that will unfold in 2017.

Due Season is Now Overdue

The lives and ministries of people were brought into the Courts of Heaven over Rosh Hashanah last October 2016. Last year, the Lord examined our lives with the highest level of the heavenly court system. Daniel 7 Ancient of Days court sessions were held over us all. This is similar to the level of the Supreme Courts on Earth.

Everyone went through an assessment to see if we are ready to advance to the next level with the Lord. Many people were promoted spiritually this year and the Lord is now releasing special plans and assignments for those who have walked through the painful preparation it takes and are crying out for mercy and not judgment.

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)

I heard the Lord say, "This is your due season and it is overdue for many." Do not give up as this is a season to reap. It is not far off. Things are going to begin lining up for you over the next few months. The Lord has not forgotten you! For many, the very reason you came to Earth is about to be revealed in 2017.

Wind of Change Coming

Expect to see backlogs of blessings and unanswered prayer come to you over the next 3 months. Between now and March things will start to line up with greater clarity. What currently looks like losses will suddenly turn around for many people. Though it seems that darkness is winning, after March this is going to take a quick turn for the good.

I have observed that the Wind of Change angel from Heaven shows up March through May each year. Expect the Wind of Change to blow heavy this year. It will help remove debris from our lives and uncover new hidden treasures.

I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name. Isaiah 45:3 NIV

Angel is Ready to Dance

God spoke to me that many forgotten prophetic words from the past are coming to us in 2017.

I had a spiritual experience at Rosh Hashanah on September 28, 2011 in which I saw an angel that was in position and about to dance. In the vision the place where I saw the angel standing looked like a combination of San Francisco, Las Vegas and Hollywood.

The Lord said that when this angel dances it will shake things open and release finances, favor and an anointing to bring people into God's Kingdom. In the experience, many of us had been waiting a long time for this angel to dance. Then without warning, it danced and the ground shook and golden coins filled the streets.

This is the release of Kingdom finances that will be needed to impact the world for God. It is also a shaking coming in the way we do things. Watch for this angel to dance over your city!

Two Moves of God Coming

There are going to be 2 moves of God.

1. The first is going to be inside the Church and in the lives of Christians—it is designed to awaken and prepare us.

2. The second is a wave of revival that will be geared to those who have been rejected by Christians or have been considered unclean or even an abomination. What is coming might seem to be a stretch to many people, as some of our current ways of doing things will not work to reach those who have been rejected. I have been prophesying this for a number of years now and I call this group the spiritual outcasts. They are the ones that did not fit into churches or had a bad experience and went away, never to return.

Billion Soul Revival

This year will be the start of the Billion Soul Revival—though it will not look like it on the surface. Do not despise humble beginnings. The late prophet Bob Jones prophesied this revival would happen. Sadly, Bob died in 2014 without seeing the fulfillment of it.

On September 22, 2016 I heard a counsel meeting in the Courts of Heaven. It was about Bob Jones' life and ministry and his prophecy of the Billion Soul Revival. Many people have forgotten about it, but God has not forgotten this prophetic promise and plans are being made now to fulfill it on Earth.

During the counsel meeting, the tasks of fulfilling the revival were split into thousands of assignments. No one man or woman could carry this mantle alone. Bob carried the strategies; but now the actual fulfillment plans are being released to us.

A New Jesus People Movement Coming

The Jesus People movement of the late 60s–early 70s was the last known revival in North America. This was a theologically messy movement as many hippies turned on to Jesus and became Jesus Freaks.

The Jesus People movement started in San Francisco and was taken to Southern California and then to the world. This movement had a strong belief in miracles, signs and wonders, faith, healing, prayer, the Bible and powerful works of the Holy Spirit. It changed the face of Christianity and broke the religious spirit of that day. Sadly, it was rejected by the majority of the Church.

There is a new Jesus People movement that is going to start in San Francisco again. It will not start with the hippies as it did then, but it will be among the sexually broken and the Fatherless generation crying out for God's love. 2017 will mark the start of something new in San Francisco that will go to Southern California and then to the world.

A Golden Gate Opened

The Lord spoke to me to go to San Francisco on New Year's Eve 2016 and open a gate in the spirit that will release the strategies for the next coming revival. I tried that night, but it would not open until the next day when I repented on behalf of all the people who have cursed and judged San Francisco.

As I removed these curses, the gate opened over the city of the Golden Gate. This is a key to opening revival and blessings over your house, church, business, city and nation.

The Glory of God is Returning in 2017

During the Jesus People movement in the early 1970s there was a strong presence of God's Glory. It was like a liquid anointing or tangible atmosphere that could be felt by many people. Without God's greater glory and power, we will not be able to be part of a revival and movement as big as what God has in store for us.

In 1975, the Lord spoke to Bob Jones that the greater Glory of God was going to leave the Church because it was used for man's gain instead of for revival and the Lord's work. On March 17, 1977 Bob saw this glory lift from the Church and it has not returned since. Yes, there are people who still carry portions of it, but overall, the glory of God has not been on the Church at large since that time.

March 17, 2017 is the 40th anniversary of the Glory departing. This is the year that the Glory of God is going to return to the Church. Like the glory of the 1970s it will not be limited to the four walls of a Church. Similar to the Jesus People movement, the Glory of God is coming with signs and wonders, healing and miracles and will begin to touch those outside the church and into the streets.

In closing, I am not saying all of these things about the big revival will take place in 2017. But God is planning and positioning us for them.

This will indeed be a year that started out looking evil and dark but will end with greater hope and more of the light of the Lord being released.

Get your hopes up as God has not forgotten you!

Blessings.

Jerusalem Mayor Met With ‘Nazi-Style Salute’ by Anti-Israel Students in San Francisco

“And they have laid upon me evil for good, and hatred for my love.” Psalms 109:5 (The Israel Bible™)
Dozens of pro-Palestinian protesters barged into a lecture by Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat in San Francisco State University on Wednesday, April 6, chanting “Long live the intifada!” according to a statement released by the Jerusalem Municipality.
“The protesters raised their hands in a stiff-arm salute, called for the continuation of the intifada, called for an end of ‘the occupation’ and for the death of Israel. They also called for Barkat to be expelled from the campus and defined Israel as a terrorist and apartheid state,” the statement read.
The students entered the hall clad in Keffiyehs, waving Palestinian flags and hurled insults against the state of Israel using a loudspeaker.
The disruptions caused by the protestors prevented questions and answers from being heard, yet footage from the event shows Barkat apparently unfazed as he descended from the podium to answer the crowd’s questions face to face.
Police and security guards were called to the scene to protect Barkat who nevertheless insisted on completing his lecture.
NO to BDS and YES to Israel!
He said later in a statement that “anyone who thinks that incitement and unruly calls for violence will succeed in silencing us or will change our stance is seriously mistaken. We will continue to build, to develop and to strengthen the nation of Israel which includes a united Jerusalem.”
“We will make our voices, positions and the justice of our ways clear in any forum to which we are invited. That includes in places where people attempt to prevent us from coming,” Barkat declared.
He further claimed that he had voiced his opposition to the “disgraceful behaviour in front of the university president and the mayor of San Francisco. I also said that such dangerous incitement cannot be allowed in a democratic society and especially not on campuses.”
The talk was part of a lecture series on American campuses about Jerusalem and Israeli policies. Barkat is scheduled to continue his lecture tour on Thursday before hundreds of university students in Columbia University, New York.
Barkat has faced off against more serious threats, such as in February 2015 when he encountered a Palestinian terrorist stabbing a Jewish man on a Jerusalem street and personally wrestled the attacker to the ground.
