'Global Anti-Semitism is On the Rise' : Pastor Hagee Calls Out the United Nations for Jerusalem Vote
12-22-2017
The United Nations General Assembly approved a resolution Thursday calling President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and plans to move the U.S. embassy there "null and void."
While this resolution does nothing to change U.S. plans, John Hagee, pastor and founder of Christians United for Israel, says the vote reveals exactly what's wrong with the United Nations.
"The nations are outraged by this because this is a reflection of who they absolutely are. The United Nations is a habitation of tinhorn dictators who spend much of their waking hours fabricating human rights violations against Israel," Hagee told CBN News.
"Jerusalem has been the capital of Israel for 3,000 years since King David conquered the city from the Jebusites. This historical fact is an absolute irritation to the United Nations because they're preaching historical fiction that the Palestinians should have control of the city of Jerusalem, if not the whole of the nation of Israel."
It came as no surprise that the Arab nations rallied together to condemn President Trump's decision about Jerusalem. However, some were surprised so many European nations joined them. Hagee said this is due to an increase of anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment rising in Europe.
"Europe is extremely anti-Semitic. England is perhaps one of the most anti-Semitic places in Europe. London has an Islamic mayor. Parts of London live under Shariah Law," he said. "Anti-Semitism is exploding in France and Germany and the U.N. vote is nothing more than a revelation of the global anti-Semitism that is on the rise."
After the vote, President Trump threatened to pull funding from the United Nations -- a decision Hagee praises.
"It would be absolutely wonderful if they cut funding to the whole United Nations entirely," he said, also taking time to honor UN Ambassador Nikki Haley. "Ambassador Nikki Haley is quickly becoming a national hero, a political superstar. She's bold and fearless and persistent in her defense of Israel and America."
Hagee believes Trump's recent actions surrounding Jerusalem are a good sign of how the rest of his presidency will go.
"The things I see ahead is that the president will keep his promises.... I think he's doing a fabulous job," he said.

OUTRAGE: Hamas Terror Tunnel Found Beneath 2 UN Schools in Gaza

CBN News Tzippe Barrow
JERUSALEM, Israel – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says it's time for the United Nations to "reconsider the continued existence" of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine (UNRWA).
Netanyahu made the comments against the backdrop of the recent discovery of a Hamas terror tunnel constructed beneath two UNRWA schools in the Gaza Strip.
"A Hamas tunnel has recently been discovered under two schools in the Gaza Strip. Hamas is using schoolchildren as human shields and this is the enemy that we have been fighting against for many years, an enemy that is committing a twofold war crime. On the one hand, it first attacks innocent civilians and then hides behind children," Netanyahu said, adding that he'd instructed the Foreign Ministry director general to file an official protest with the U.N. Security Council against Hamas regarding the tunnel.
He told cabinet ministers he'd discussed UNRWA with U.S. U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley last week and thanked her for the strong stance she's taking on behalf of Israel at the United Nations.
"Since World War Two, there has been – and continue to be today – millions of refugees. And these millions have the U.N. High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), while most of the Palestinian refugees are settled and have a separate commission. This is UNRWA; it has its own institutions and considerable incitement against Israel," Netanyahu explained.
UNRWA Perpetuates the 'Refugee Problem'
"I regret that UNRWA, to a large degree, by its very existence, perpetuates – and does not solve – the Palestinian refugee problem. Therefore, the time has come to disband UNRWA and integrate it into the UNHCR," said Netanyahu.
UNRWA spokesman Christopher Gunness responded by saying only the U.N. General Assembly has the authority to decide UNRWA's fate, noting that in December "a large majority" extended the agency's mandate this past December by three years.
Gunness said UNRWA condemned "the existence of such tunnels in the strongest possible terms."
UNRWA employees discovered the tunnel on June 1 during the construction of an extension of one of the buildings, while students were on summer vacation.
Like other Hamas attack tunnels, it runs from inside Gaza toward the Israeli border and about 2-3 meters (yards) under the schools.
According to Gunness, UNRWA reached an agreement with Hamas "…to seal the tunnel under its premises as an immediate priority" after "robustly" intervening and protesting to Hamas.
Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum called Netanyahu's remarks "baseless accusations," saying Hamas has nothing to do with the tunnel and warning UNRWA "to withdraw its accusations against Hamas" to avoid jeopardizing its relationship with Hamas.
Meanwhile, Israel's Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories Maj. Gen. Yoav Mordechai said, "It is clear as day that the Arab world in its entirety now understands that the terrorist organization Hamas is destroying the Gaza Strip and eliminating any prospects of a better future for Gazans. Perhaps it is time for the residents of Gaza to understand it themselves," the Israeli daily Israel Hayom reported.

Paris Conference Nosedives! Five Significant #Fails - Ron Cantor

Paris Conference Nosedives! Five Significant #Fails

Ron Cantor —  January 17, 2017

On Sunday, representatives of 70 nations gathered in Paris to release a document condemning Israel for building in the areas captured in the Six-Day-War (including the Jewish Quarter of the Old City), calling for the creation of a Palestinian state and an end to the “occupation.” There was deep concern from Israel-loving believers around the world, that the “kings of the earth” would “rage” (Ps. 2) in their anger at little Israel.

A Third Outrage

This would be the third outrage against Israel in about a month. First, the United Nations condemned the Jewish nation in December and the United States, who customarily uses its VETO to stop such unjust and lopsided condemnations, chose to teach their ‘friend’ Israel a lesson, and let this condemnation pass. Then, secondly, in the middle of the Jewish Feast of Hanukkah, a holiday that commemorates the victorious Jewish uprising against her oppressors, a clearly angered and agitated Secretary of State John Kerry unleashed a scathing rebuke on the world’s stage against Israel.
It appeared that this third condemnation with 70 nations (a biblical number, interestingly enough associated with the idea of ‘all nations’), standing together in unity against Israel would lead to a fourth outrage, which would be a stronger, more aggressive, Obama-backed U.N. condemnation of Israel and, who knows, possibly the recognition of a Palestinian State.
The timing would be unprecedented (although I would like to write unpresidented), as President Obama has just four more days in office and his successor has made it clear that he doesn’t agree with how Obama has treated Israel. #NotNice! It is very rare that a lame duck president (a president on his way out) would be so aggressive in establishing policy.
While the Paris Conference did release a statement condemning Israel, it was lacking the teeth they had hoped for and it came and went with little fanfare. I am sure that God heard the prayers of His people on this.

Five Things to Know about the Failed Paris Conference

1) There was little unity, as can be expected when you have 70 different delegations. They could not agree on the wording. Therefore, the softer wording won out.
2) John Kerry called up Prime Minister Netanyahu.
After a month of chilly ties between Washington and Jerusalem, Kerry updated Netanyahu about the steps he was taking to “soften” the text of the final communique, which was to be issued by the conference participants later in the day.
3) Not only did Israel refuse to come, but also the Palestinian Authority didn’t even send a delegation. Would Paris just dictate a final decision and email it to the Israelis and Palestinians?
4) Great Britain, in what was seen as a goodwill gesture to the incoming President Trump, refused to even send their Ambassador to France or their Foreign Minister. This was a huge blow to the conference’s momentum.
A Foreign Office statement said: “We have particular reservations about an international conference intended to advance peace between the parties that does not involve them – indeed which is taking place against the wishes of the Israelis – and which is taking place just days before the transition to a new American President when the US will be the ultimate guarantor of any agreement. There are risks therefore that this conference hardens positions at a time when we need to be encouraging the conditions for peace.”
5) And best of all, in his phone call to Netanyahu, Kerry said there would be no additional push in the U.N. before Trump takes the oath. Kerry promised Netanyahu that there would not be any follow-up action to the Paris conference and that Washington would oppose any further political action at the Security Council.
Which only underscores that that was the original plan (or else he could have told him that before the conference).
Make no mistake, this was no victory for Israel. It was a step in the wrong direction, but it wasn’t near as big a step as the “kings of the earth” had hoped for. We must continue to pray for the Jewish nation. The salvation that we so dearly enjoy came into the world through the Jewish people and their Messiah.
Now, however, I am on my way to Jerusalem in the service of the Lord’s people there.  For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the Lord’s people in Jerusalem.  They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings. (Romans 15:25-27)

United Nations Vote Shows World's True Colors Toward Israel - BRIAN SANDERS CHARISMA NEWS

United Nations Vote Shows World's True Colors Toward Israel

BRIAN SANDERS  CHARISMA NEWS
Standing With Israel

Imagine yourself 13 months away from celebrating the centennial anniversary of your inception (see 1917 Belfour Declaration). Looking back at the arduous obstacles that have already been overcome, it's disheartening that Israel is now faced with the grim reality of what may potentially be stripped from it.
Last Friday's United Nations Security Council vote against Israel's settlements sent a clear message to Jews around the world: Life as you know it is about to change.
The unanimous 14-0 vote that included the cold, abstinent response from President Obama sent a resonant chill down the Jewish people's spine on the Eve of Hanukkah and on their Holy Sabbath.
The silent betrayal spoke louder than words. It was a shot clearly hit below the belt to our greatest ally in the Middle East; an inciting, wounding action left by his predecessor that President-elect Donald Trump will have to try to miraculously mend.
Like many Christians, not only did my heart break for my Jewish brothers and sisters in Israel, but I felt perplexingly embarrassed and apologetic.
But what is truly mind-boggling about this united decision is the true colors of how the International Council really feels towards Israel. The anti-Semitic response is more than palpable ... it's actually quite deafening.
Such is the case for greater actions towards Aleppo, Syria. As the world watches the inconceivable atrocities happening before their eyes—the United Nations, the Earth's brother's keeper—remains silent. Instead, they'd rather focus their attention, with unabashed anti-Semitism towards Israel.
Case in point, outgoing U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon publicly expressed the U.N.'s obsession against Israel that, "We must never accept bias against Israel within U.N. bodies."
Israel's ambassador to the U.N., Danny Danon, cited 223 passed resolutions condemning the Jewish State compared to only eight against the dictatorship regime of Syria for their inhumane killings of its people.
Where's the justice, you ask? Why the blatant unfair treatment towards Israel and the Jewish people?
You'd almost have to travel back in time to the days of Pharaoh to understand how the Jewish people have literally experienced "mishpat" (justice) for faults-not of their own. Then marvel and praise the G-d of their ancestors for giving them this inconceivable resilience and unconditional divine protection.
What the United Nations and Israel's enemies fail to realize is-that the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will have the final say. Justice "mishpat" awaits those that condemn the Apple of His Eye.
"For thus says the Lord of Hosts: He has sent Me after glory to the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For I will swing My hand against them, and they will become plunder for their servants. Then you will know well that the Lord of Hosts has sent Me" (Zech 2:8-9).
"Behold, He who guards Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep" (Ps. 121:4).
For generations, the Jewish people have leaned on their Redeemer.
"For the Lord has redeemed Jacob [Israel] and ransomed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he" (Jer. 31:11).
They know all too well that their salvation is nigh.
"The Lord has proclaimed to the ends of the earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, 'See, your salvation comes; see, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him." They shall call them The Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken'" (Is. 62:11-12).
Regardless of where the world stands for Israel, the church, the body of Yeshua (Jesus) needs to stand with them now more than ever.

10 Ways That Donald Trump Could Try To Reverse The Curse That Obama Has Put On America - Michael Snyder THE ECONOMIC COLLAPSE BLOG

trump-wall

Posted: 02 Jan 2017   Michael Snyder  THE ECONOMIC COLLAPSE BLOG

When Barack Obama betrayed Israel at the United Nations, that put a curse on our nation.  But that doesn’t mean that we have to stay cursed.  In the coming days, the new Trump administration should immediately start taking steps to reverse the curse that we are under as a result of what Obama has done.  Perhaps if Donald Trump takes strong enough steps to try to undo what Obama has done, instead of being cursed we can once again return to being blessed.

One thing that Trump will not be able to undo is UN Security Council Resolution 2334.  It would take another UN Security Council resolution to undo it, and the votes simply wouldn’t be there.  UN Security Council Resolution 2334 passed by a vote of 14 to zero with the U.S. abstaining.  And even if Trump could miraculously pull together enough votes, one of the other permanent members of the Security Council (Russia, China, the UK or France) could just veto it.

So it looks like we are stuck with UN Security Council Resolution 2334, but that doesn’t mean that Trump can’t do anything to try to address this matter.

Recently, a Breitbart article suggested five steps that Trump should take regarding Israel once he becomes president, and I would like to add another five to the list.

The following are 10 things that should immediately be done once Trump becomes president to try to reverse the curse that Obama has put on America…

#1 Donald Trump should clearly disavow UN Security Council Resolution 2334 during his Inaugural address.  This would send a clear signal to the rest of the world that this new administration does not stand behind Obama’s betrayal of Israel.

#2 Sanctions should be imposed on every nation that voted in favor of the resolution.  I know that this would be politically tricky and would greatly upset the other permanent members of the Security Council, but it should still be done.

#3 There should be a congressional declaration clearly disavowing UN Security Council Resolution 2334, and Donald Trump should endorse this declaration.

#4 The Trump administration should immediately introduce another UN Security Council resolution that would include language that completely overturns the previous resolution.  Of course that resolution would almost certainly fail, but the point would be to show that the Trump administration is horrified by what has been done, and it would force the rest of the Security Council into a very uncomfortable position.

#5 Trump should immediately move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem.  By law this was already supposed to have happened anyway, but past presidents have always put the move off.  Of course this would cause the Palestinians to riot, but Trump needs to show the world that U.S. policy is not going to be dictated by threats of violence.

#6 Trump should cut off all funding to the Palestinian authority.  Considering how much debt we are in, I don’t know why we are giving them money in the first place.

#7 Trump should publicly announce that his administration will never recognize a Palestinian state.  The rest of the world would get very upset by this, but it is the right thing to do.

#8 Trump should publicly announce that it is the policy of the United States government that every inch of East Jerusalem, the West Bank, the Gaza strip and the Golan Heights belongs to Israel.  I don’t think that Trump would ever do this, but it would be the single most important step that he could take.

#9 The United Nations could be defunded in whole or in part.  But we don’t want to leave the United Nations entirely as some are suggesting.  Now that Trump is going to be president, we want him to use the power that we have on the Security Council to protect Israel.  Because without the U.S. standing in the way, the rest of the world would gang up on Israel in a major way.

#10 Trump should make an immediate presidential visit to Israel during the very first week of his presidency.  This would largely be symbolic, but it would show the rest of the planet that we stand solidly with the Netanyahu government.

And if Barack Obama takes additional action against Israel during the remaining days of his presidency, steps such as I have just outlined above will become even more important.
There are still rumblings that we could see another UN Security Council resolution that would officially establish a Palestinian state before Obama leaves office.  The following comes from an article by Bob Eschliman
The official said the U.N. action could come in the form of declarations by U.N. bodies, including the General Assembly; U.N. sessions on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict; or even another United Nations Security Council resolution. He said any further UNSC resolution would depend on the support of the U.S. and European countries after the upcoming Paris Mideast summit slated for Jan. 15.
He said the U.N. action would seek to set the parameters of a future Palestinian state with a clear timeline for negotiations. If the action comes in the form of a resolution at a U.N. body, it could call for an infrastructure to establish mechanisms to enforce last week’s UNSC resolution, which demanded a complete halt to Israeli construction in the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem and declared those territories occupied Palestinian lands.
If the UN Security Council does vote to formally recognize a Palestinian state, all hell will break loose in America.

Let us hope that does not happen, and let us hope that Donald Trump works very hard to repair the damage that has already been done once he gets into office.
