Twitter censoring pro-life movie UNPLANNED - LIVE ACTION Lila Rose

Abortion advocates and their allies in the media will stop at nothing to silence pro-life voices. Inexplicably, Twitter suspended the official account for the new pro-life movie, Unplanned, earlier today during its opening weekend. Fortunately, after a swift and immediate backlash, Twitter restored the movie’s account this afternoon, but that’s not the only challenge this movie has faced... In addition to Unplanned receiving an R rating, the movie was also denied rights to music from Disney, Sony, and Universal, and was rejected for advertising on almost every TV network outside of Fox News. Steve, it’s clear abortion advocates are desperate to kill any buzz from building for the film, because they know just how powerful this story is... I’m not sure what you know about the movie, but it’s the true story of former Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson and her pro-life conversion. You can watch the trailer for the movie here, as well as an interview Live Action had with the movie’s star, Ashley Bratcher. I am grateful to have had a part in the making of this movie, as I play a reporter in the film. In real life, my photo was hung up inside Abby's clinic so Planned Parenthood staff could identify me if I was undercover at their facility, and Abby and I eventually became friends later. Abby was actually a “star” employee at Planned Parenthood, but that all changed after she witnessed an ultrasound-guided abortion on a baby at 13 weeks. Ever since that moment, she has been an outspoken advocate for the preborn, and has founded a ministry, And Then There Were None, to help clinic workers leave the abortion industry behind. This is why abortion advocates want to silence this movie. If a Planned Parenthood employee could change their mind after learning the truth about abortion, then any “pro-choice” individual could too. I hope you will make time this weekend to go see Unplanned - as its success on the opening weekend will determine if theaters continue to show it. Make sure you take your family, friends, neighbors, but most importantly, if you are able to convince them, take someone who is “pro-choice” to see the film! Dear Friend,

I’m not sure you know this, but when I was 9 years old, I had my first encounter with abortion.

I had been looking for something to read in my parent's house, and I pulled a book off a shelf and opened it in the middle. What I saw deeply grieved me.

There was a baby, perhaps 10 weeks old, with newly formed arms and legs and a little face - but he had been torn apart by a first trimester suction abortion.

I soon learned that the lives of precious little babies were taken every day, over 1 million every year. I learned that this barbaric practice was sanctioned and protected by the law, and that all over the country, and within 10 miles of my childhood home, there was a Planned Parenthood abortion facility open for business. 

The more I learned about abortion, I had the growing sense that, while I was alive and healthy and safe, millions of children were dead and were continuing to die every day, and I wanted to do something about it.

At 15, I was working with a group of friends, and we began to educate people through my local community, focused on conveying the brutality and inhumanity of abortion and the humanity of the preborn child. There had been so many lies told and believed about life and abortion. I felt certain that if people were able to have an encounter with the beauty of life and the inhumanity of abortion, that minds and hearts would be changed. 

This was really the start of Live Action. And after this start almost ten years ago, we are seeing proof of just that.

Since those early days, Live Action has built the largest social media following in the pro-life movement. These powerful media platforms have allowed us to share more pro-life content with more Americans than ever before in the history of the pro-life movement.

Live Action became the first organization to use former abortionists and medical animation to explain the four most prevalent abortion procedures through our “Abortion Procedures” campaign, exposing the horror of the violence inflicted upon preborn children.
