(Washington, D.C.) -- Consider the odd developments of the past few days:
- The leader of our most faithful and trusted ally comes to Washington to warn of a mortal and rising threat from a dangerous and deceiving enemy.
- The President of the United States refuses to meet with him.
- The President sends his VP out of the country to avoid our ally.
- The President sends the Secretary of State out of the country to avoid our ally, and instead to meet with our enemy.
- The President refuses to allow any of his Cabinet Members attend the speech by our ally.
- The White House pressures Members of Congress to boycott the speech of our ally.
- The President's first comment after the ally's speech is that he didn't bother to watch or listen to it.
- If I had written that as a novel, would anyone buy it? Of course not. They would say, "That's ridiculous! That's not credible! No President would act that way."
Yet this is exactly what is happening. Truth is stranger than fiction.
Now comes the news that even though President Obama is bending over backwards to make concessions to Iran, the Iranian leadership has now utterly rejected the President's deal, calling it "unacceptable." That's the first thing Iran and Israel have every agreed on. More on that in a moment.
A radio host asked me this morning: Did Israel's Prime Minister come to Congress to boost his political fortunes because he's in a neck-and-neck race back home? No. That's not it.
Mr. Netanyahu came because he believes Israel is in mortal danger if Iranian leaders driven by "Apocalyptic Islam" are able to build atomic weapons and the high-speed missiles to deliver them. Netanyahu knew there was a huge risk in coming to the U.S. amidst such controversy. But he also knows that if he does not come back to power as Prime Minister after March 17th that he would never be able to forgive himself if he failed to use his time in office to raise the alarm and urge his friends, the American people, to stop Iran from getting The Bomb, rather than putting Iran on a legal pathway to The Bomb.
The Bible says in Ezekiel 33:1-9 that if the watchman on the wall sees a threat emerging, he must warn people, or he will be held to account. In the Bible, Mordechai urged Queen Esther to intercede with the King to try to save the Jewish people. She bravely spoke the truth to power. The Bible tells us that God sent Moses to speak to the Pharoah to save the Jewish people. Moses risked his life to speak truth to power. In the 1930s, Winston Churchill warned of the gathering storm of Adolf Hitler & the Nazi Third Reich. Few listened but Churchill was right. In the 1960s & 70s, Ronald Reagan warned us of the danger of appeasing Soviet communism. Few listened, but Reagan was right.
True "watchmen on the wall" often walk a lonely journey. But they are motivated not by crass personal ambition, but by deep personal conviction.
Now, back to Iran rejecting the President's deal.
According to Reuters, "Iran rejected on Tuesday as 'unacceptable' U.S. President Barack Obama's demand that it freeze sensitive nuclear activities for at least 10 years but said it would continue talks on a deal, Iran's semi-official Fars news agency reported. Iran laid out the position as the U.S. and Iranian foreign ministers met for a second day of negotiations and as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a stinging critique of the agreement they are trying to hammer out."
"Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met a day after Obama told Reuters that Iran must commit to a verifiable halt of at least 10 years on sensitive nuclear work for a landmark atomic deal to be reached," Reuters noted."
"Iran will not accept excessive and illogical demands," Zarif was quoted by Fars as saying.
Wouldn't it be ironic if Iran saves us from this dangerous, disastrous deal?

THE BREAD OF LIFE IN THE CENTER

We need bread to live. In Matt 6:11 we find the prayer "Give us today our daily bread" as Jesus taught us. Many people are poor and do not have bread. It is good to help others in need who are poor. However there were people who followed Jesus who were just interested in the usual bread, but Jesus told them “Most assuredly ,I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you saw the loaves and were filled. Do not labor for the the food which perishes but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”
Jesus as the Bread came to the House of Bread – Bethlehem. Usual bread and other things are not more important than this Bread – Jesus. God ought to be in center in our lives. Among Christians, biblical subjects can get much attention but Jesus ought to be center. There are popular subjects, for instance the rapture, but these subjects must not take first place. Visions or activities in church also must not take first place. Hobbies can take too much time,too, even though there is not wrong with hobbies.
Sometimes people are so busy helping others that they forget to take time with their relation with God. It is good to help others in a time of much selfishness and lack of love. That is very good. The Bible also tell us in Matt 24:12, “because of lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” The relation with Jesus ought to be first.
We as human beings need spiritual bread. In John 6:35 he tell us “I am the Bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believe in Me shall never thirst.”
We need to be dependent on Jesus as children are of their parents. We NEED Him. TV and media must not take too much time so we do not have time with our relationship with God. Because Jesus is the Bread and He is the Word, as it is written in John, then I see it as the Bible, the Word also is our Bread of life. The Bible is as Bread and we need our daily Bread. It is good to read the Bible every day. It is like Bread for our souls.
In Matt. 5:3 Jesus says, “Blessed are the poor in spirit.” We need to hunger for more of God, not thinking that we have so much, but be humble and think we do not have so much and be hungry and want MORE of God. We can be longing for more to learn to know Him as a person, to get more of Him and of His power. Worship is important because then we lift up God and let Him be in the center. Worship brings the presence of God.
In the world people can be hungry, longing for something more. Jesus is the heavenly Bread. In John 6:33 is written: “For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” In a world where many difficult things happen around us we need to seek Jesus and have Him as our Friend.
Jesus/Yeshua is a refuge in the storm and He is wonderful Bread. Let us be hungry for this Bread! Let us be hungry for God!

In the book of Acts chapter two we read about the day of Pentecost when the disciples were in the Upper Room in one accord, and suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gave them utterance. They were so intoxicated with the glory of God that some of the onlookers thought that they were drunk with wine. Peter went on to say, these men are not drunk as you suppose, and he quoted the prophecy from Joel 2:28-32. This prophecy has been fulfilled.
In the book of Acts chapter four when they were being threatened, they prayed, and asked the Lord for boldness, to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Jesus. The building then literally shook and they were filled with the Holy Spirit.
The Lord says the winds are stirring once again, and I am releasing a mighty wind of My glory to transform lives "suddenly." Multitudes will be brought into the kingdom for such a time as this. Many will be healed, captives will be delivered and set free, and many will be brought into repentance. Just as the plates are shifting under the seas causing earthquakes of great magnitudes, there is a shift happening simultaneously in the heavenlies. I am stirring the atmosphere to bring change to the church as you know it. Angelic activity is being released from the third heaven that no man can stop or reverse. Do not judge things by what you see happening in the natural, but watch what I am about to do. I Am El Shaddai and I am sending a tsunami of My glory.
I Am Sending My Glory
Just as the winds are blowing in the natural, I am about to send a mighty rushing wind across this country and around the world. Just as the winds came "suddenly" in the upper room, I am sending My Glory to revamp things in the natural. What I intended for in these last days shall be accomplished. You shall see a great acceleration in the lives of my people. I will bring times of refreshing in times of drought. I will bring light to areas where darkness seems to prevail. I am sending the latter and the former rains. Do not become fearful when you see the dark clouds but rejoice. It is the dark clouds that carry the heavy rain. This is where My glory dwells and My Anointing will be released. As I said in My word, the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea; says the Lord.
Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
Acts 2:1-4 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 4:29-31 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus." And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
