Debt Cancer: More Than 80 Percent Of American Adults Owe Somebody Else Money

How long can our debt levels keep growing much, much faster than the overall economy? We haven’t had a year of 3 percent growth for the U.S. economy since the middle of the Bush administration, but we keep borrowing money as if there is no tomorrow. Much of the focus has been on the exploding debt of the federal government, and that is definitely something I plan to address once I get to Washington. But on an individual level, U.S. consumers have been extremely irresponsible as well. In fact, one new survey has found that more than 80 percent of all American adults are currently in debt…

It’s no secret that America is a nation that runs on debt, but it may surprise you to learn that the overwhelming majority of U.S. adults owe money in some way, shape, or form. According to new data from Comet, here’s how many Americans have debt at present:

80.9% of Baby Boomers

79.9% of Gen Xers

81.5% of Millennials

For most of us, it starts very early. We were told that going into debt to get a college education would not be a problem because we would be able to pay those loans off with the good jobs we would get after graduation.

Unfortunately, those good jobs never really materialized for many of us, and now millions of former college students are absolutely drowning in debt…

A study released Friday by the Brookings Institution finds that most borrowers who left school owing at least $50,000 in student loans in 2010 had failed to pay down any of their debt four years later. Instead, their balances had on average risen by 5% as interest accrued on their debt.
As of 2014 there were about 5 million borrowers with such large loan balances, out of 40 million Americans total with student debt. Large-balance borrowers represented 17% of student borrowers leaving college or grad school in 2014, up from 2% of all borrowers in 1990 after adjusting for inflation. Large-balance borrowers now owe 58% of the nation’s $1.4 trillion in outstanding student debt.

In addition to owing more than a trillion dollars on student loans, Americans are also now carrying more than a trillion dollars of auto loan debt and more than a trillion dollars of credit card debt.

Corporations have been incredibly irresponsible as well. Corporate debt has doubled since the last financial crisis, and corporate bankruptcies have been rising steadily in recent years. All it would take for the dominoes to really start falling is some sort of a major economic downturn.

Local, state and federal government debt levels are all at record highs as well. It is now being projected that our national debt will hit 30 trillion dollars by 2028, and those projections are probably too optimistic.

My guess is that we will almost certainly hit the 30 trillion dollar mark far sooner than that.
We can’t keep doing this to ourselves. Our incessant greed is literally destroying the future, but anyone that tries to warn about the collective insanity that has descended upon our society is mocked and ridiculed.

Let me ask you a question.

Would you willingly choose to give yourself cancer?

Of course not, but that is essentially what we are doing to ourselves as a society.

Debt is economic cancer, and as Lance Roberts has pointed out, if we continue to allow debt levels to grow like this eventually it will kill our entire economy…

Debt is, by its very nature, a cancer on economic growth. As debt levels rise it consumes more capital by diverting it from productive investments into debt service. As debt levels spread through the system it consumes greater amounts of capital until it eventually kills the host.

Debt is addictive, because it does boost our standard of living in the short-term. It is so easy to keep going back for one more “hit”, but every time we do it just makes our long-term crisis even worse.

Most people out there seem to think that our economic problems have been “solved”, but that is not true at all.

The truth is that our long-term problems just continue to grow with each passing day, and that is one of the reasons why I am so determined to go to Washington. We are at such a critical juncture right now, and if something is not done the prognosis is extremely negative.
If we stay on this current path, the very best that we can hope for is a “soft landing” and a greatly reduced standard of living for future generations of Americans. Here is more from Lance Roberts…

The processes that fueled the economic growth over the last 30 years are now beginning to run in reverse, and when combined with the demographic shifts in the U.S., the impact could be far more immediate and prolonged than the media, economists, and analysts are currently expecting. Sacrifices will have to be made, the economy will drag on at subpar rates of growth, individuals will be working far longer into their retirement years and the next generation of Americans will lead a far different life than what the currently retiring generation enjoyed.
It is simply a function of the math.

I am sorry for not writing more lately. I have been working night and day to get ready for May 15th. With Donald Trump in the White House, this is our opportunity to take our government back. If we miss this window, we may never have this sort of opportunity ever again.

America is drowning in debt, but of course our problems go far beyond that. Our economic, political, cultural and spiritual problems go very deep, and we desperately need to change course as a nation.

Unfortunately, most of the population is in a deep state of sleep, and my hope is that we can wake them up while there is still time to turn things around.

Israel's Prophetic Role With the Worldwide Church - YONI KOSKI REVIVE ISRAEL

Israel is in many ways a parable for the worldwide church: on the one hand manifestly incomplete and deficient, yet on the other beneficiary of the divine promise of 'completion', 'perfection' and ultimately 'peace'—all of which stem from the same Hebrew root from which we get the well-known word "shalom."

"I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1:6

Of course, both Israel and the church have seen great advances under the power and direction of the Holy Spirit, yet there remains much to overcome:

Compromised: both Israel and the church are compromised by the values and influence of other gods, religions, philosophies and values. In both Israel and once majority Christian societies, the pervasive influence of Islam is aggressively seeking to replace the foundations of Judeo-Christian society; meanwhile man-centric and materialism-centric secularism seeks to push God into a corner and eventually out of the picture; while Eastern spirituality and associated narcotic addictions offer false promises of satisfaction.
'Occupied': both Israel and the church are to some extent occupied by formal institutional authorities that are not representatives of the kingdom of God. Whether it is Israel state offices providing on-demand abortion, religious offices whose rules deny Yeshua as Messiah, territories that "ethnically cleanse" the Jewish population, or church denominations that officially advocate active homosexuality or a universalist God—all have formalized their opposition to a Scriptural understanding of the Kingdom of God.
Undersized: both Israel and the church are not yet the size they should be—in Genesis 15:18 God promised Israel all of the land from what is today the Suez Canal in the south, to the Euphrates river in the north. To the whole body of Messiah worldwide God promised a great end-time harvest (Amos 9:13), as the gospel is preached to all peoples (Matthew 24:14, Revelation 7:9).
Unrealised potential: Both the church and Israel have yet to reach the fullness of worldwide influence and effect—the kingdom of God on earth, where Israel is to be manifestly set apart for God (Deuteronomy 26:18-19) and the church reigning (Revelation 20:4, Daniel 7:22).
'Un-enthroned': We have yet to see the church globally and consistently filled with the Spirit of God (Daniel 12:10), or Yeshua reigning on His glorious throne in Jerusalem (Romans 11:26, Isaiah 24:23).

The purpose of a parable is instruction. In our lostness we find truth hard to absorb. Understanding this, the greatest teacher of all gave us the gift of parables, stories that touch both heart and mind and appeal to our child-likeness.

If Israel is a parable, then there is much for the church to learn from, as the world watches the nation's development and the heating up of the battle for the land and especially its capital, Jerusalem. Through the eyes of faith we see Israel's budding and now blossoming (Isaiah 27:6) as the sovereign work of a God who can be trusted and has power to fulfill His Word against all odds. If God can raise up Israel in the midst of great opposition, then He can surely raise up every believer despite the worst of circumstances.

Just as the church can learn from Israel, so Israel can learn the faithfulness of God from the parable of the long and complex history of the church.

God is faithful and powerful to bring each individual, each congregation and the worldwide body of Messiah, to a place where we shake off compromise, overcome the 'occupation', reach our full 'size' and potential and see Yeshua enthroned where He should be. Our part is to cooperate with Him in focus, gaze and attention (Psalm 27), so that the pathway through the coming furnace (Matthew 24:21) becomes a delight rather than a trauma, because we see Yeshua right by our side (Matthew 25:1-13).

The government of "moderate" Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas on Sunday condemned Israel for deciding to no longer help it pay the salaries of jailed Palestinian terrorists.

Under the terms of various signed peace agreements, Israel is obligated to collect tax revenues on behalf of the Palestinian Authority, and transfer those funds accordingly.

At the same time, the Palestinian Authority is obligated to cease all incitement to violence against Israel. And Israel considers providing handsome salaries to those who attack and kill Jews to be incitement, or, at the very least, incentive.

As such, Israel's Ministerial Committee for Legislation has approved a bill promoted by Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman to deduct any amount the Palestinian Authority pays to terrorists from future tax revenue transfers.

The Palestinians called the move an act of "piracy, a theft of money, and yet another crime added to the Israeli occupations' ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people."

WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Matylda Jonas-Kowalik has spent most of her 22 years secure in the belief that she would never know the discrimination, persecution or violence that killed or traumatized generations of Polish Jews before her. She once thought the biggest problem that young Jewish Poles like herself faced was finding a Jewish boyfriend or girlfriend in a country dominated by Catholics.

But an eruption of anti-Semitic comments in public debates amid a diplomatic dispute with Israel over a new Holocaust speech law has caused to her to rethink that certainty. Now she and others fear the hostile rhetoric could eventually trigger anti-Semitic violence, and she finds herself thinking constantly about whether she should leave Poland.

“This is my home. I have never lived anywhere else and wanted this to keep being my home,” said Jonas-Kowalik, a Jewish studies major at Warsaw University. “But this makes me very anxious. I don’t know what to expect.”

Poland’s Jewish community is the surviving remnant of a vibrant and diverse Polish- and Yiddish-speaking community that numbered 3.3 million on the eve of the Holocaust. Only 10 percent survived the German genocide, while postwar violence and persecution in the first decades of communist rule forced out many of the survivors.

Since communism’s collapse in 1989, Jewish life has been re-emerging, with young people feeling safe enough in Poland’s democracy to embrace a heritage their parents and grandparents had largely repressed.

Yet anxieties have been creeping in amid a global rise in xenophobia that was also felt in Poland.

A conservative party, Law and Justice, won power in Poland vowing to restore national greatness while also stressing an anti-Muslim, anti-migrant message. Jews — whose presence in Poland goes back centuries — were increasingly the targets of verbal hate on social media.

Matters escalated a few weeks ago when Israeli officials sharply criticized new Polish legislation that criminalizes blaming Poland as a nation for crimes committed by Nazi Germany. They accused Poland of seeking to use the law to whitewash the role of the Poles who helped Germans kill Jews during the war.

Polish authorities deny that. They say they just want to protect Poland from being depicted as a collaborator of the Nazis when the country was Adolf Hitler’s first victim and resisted the Nazis through nearly six years of war and occupation.

Amid Israeli criticism, a prominent Polish right-wing commentator used an offensive slur to refer to Jews. Rather than being punished, he was welcomed on TV programs, including a state television talk show where he and the host made anti-Jewish comments, including jokes about Jews and gas chambers.

The negative comments just kept on coming. A Catholic priest said on state TV that it was hard to like Jews, and his words were then quoted by the ruling party spokeswoman. An adviser to the president said he thought Israel’s negative reaction to the law stemmed from a “feeling of shame at the passivity of the Jews during the Holocaust.”

Commentators have also suggested that opposition to the Holocaust law was a cover for Jews wanting money from Poland, a reference to reparations that international Jewish organizations seek for prewar Jewish property seized by the communists.

Anna Chipczynska, the head of Warsaw’s Jewish community, said members feel psychologically shaken or even depressed, and that the hostile rhetoric has triggered hateful phone calls and emails and other harassment.

In recent events, two men tried to urinate in front of Warsaw’s historic Nozyk Synagogue and then shouted obscenities when security guards intervened. One Jewish community member found a Star of David hanging from gallows spray-painted outside a window of his apartment. A woman found the word “Zyd” — Polish for “Jew” — written in the snow outside her home.

Agnieszka Ziatek of the Jewish Agency for Israel said she has seen a spike in the number of Polish Jews inquiring about immigrating to Israel.

The current wave of discrimination comes just weeks before the 50th anniversary of an anti-Semitic campaign orchestrated by Poland’s communist regime in March 1968. That campaign began with rhetoric eerily similar to the things being said today and ended up with 20,000 Jews forced to relinquish their possessions and their Polish citizenship and flee the country.

Many liberal Poles are also shaken by the developments, which come amid what human rights officials see as a larger erosion of democratic standards. More than 8,000 people have signed a letter of solidarity to “our Jewish friends,” decrying what they call “a wave of hatred and disgusting language.”

Hanna, a 33-year-old Jewish woman from Warsaw, says she has finally understood the deep fears of her mother, the daughter of a Holocaust survivor who witnessed the 1968 persecution. She said her mother has always said Jews in Poland had to be mentally prepared to flee at little notice with just a suitcase.

“I always thought she was crazy,” said Hanna, who asked that her last name not be used because she, too, is now afraid. “Now I see that maybe my mom isn’t crazy. Maybe this is the circle of life and history is repeating.”

Jonas-Kowalik said she is thinking about continuing her studies in Sweden, but that even thinking about leaving is deeply painful. While some family members left Poland after the war and in the 1960s for the United States and Sweden, her immediate family chose to stay.

“If our grandparents and parents didn’t leave after World War II, and didn’t leave in 1968, it meant they overcame a lot of difficulties to stay,” she said. “The question is if we are able to do the same if we are ready for such a hard future.”

Mikolaj Grynberg, a writer, and photographer, said while young Polish Jews feel shocked and “lost,” he, at 52, has long been aware of Poland’s anti-Semitic undercurrent. While on book tours, Grynberg said people would sometimes ask him “why did you choose to write in our language?” as if he weren’t as Polish as they.

As the descendant of Warsaw Ghetto survivors, he has faced years of hateful emails and online messages and says he has been prepared psychologically for a return of bad times.

“Each time you have an anti-Semitic wave, there are Jewish people who leave,” Grynberg said. “It’s not just a whim: It’s about their fear. Jewish people know what can come after.”

"It's Time for the Turnaround Over Our Nation!"

Significant Dream and Interpretation in Preparation for the Turnaround Conference

A well-respected pastor in Arizona texted me on a recent morning regarding the upcoming Turnaround Conference in Washington DC, February 22-24:

I was praying for the gathering in D.C. and felt so strongly its significance—that our nation's future is at stake!! What we pray, and indeed how we pray, will determine our future for many years. We are a nation at a crossroads, and this gathering will play a pivotal role in the direction our nation must take. Praying for you.

I certainly bear witness. It seems the spiritual airwaves are filled with prophetic insight regarding this gathering; I am receiving words almost daily. The following dream was sent to me a few days ago by a trusted prophet:

I dreamed last night of the Turnaround gathering. In the meeting, there were hundreds of angels with tuning forks in their hands. Rees Howells (Rees was a Welsh intercessor in the mid-1900s used greatly by Holy Spirit to turn the tide of WWII) and John Knox (a great Scottish reformer and intercessor in the 1500s) came in from the cloud of witnesses. Rees held a tuning fork, and John a gavel. They presented these to you; as they did you smiled at Ceci (Dutch's wife) and struck them together.

The angels simultaneously struck their tuning forks. As the sound began permeating the people, they began to vibrate and spin. While doing so, they morphed into an Army of Special Forces. Illumination came from them and filled the room. Then a man pinned a badge on you that said: U.S. MARSHALL OF THE NEW SOUND. I woke up overwhelmed.

This dream is so filled with revelation, and it is difficult to summarize in a brief manner. Here, in bullet form, are some of my interpretations:

• "Hundreds of angels with tuning forks" – angels will be there to assist us in hearing the sound of Heaven. (Photo via stockfree.org)

• "Rees Howells and John Knox" – we will be building on and agreeing with the prayers and reforming actions of past generations (something I refer to in my book An Appeal to Heaven as "the synergy of the ages").

• "Tuning fork" – we will hear a pure and clear sound from Heaven regarding America.

• "Gavel" – the Sovereign Judge of Heaven and earth is going to render His verdict.

• "As the sound began permeating the people" – we will become one with/agree with Heaven's words and verdicts.

• "They morphed into an Army of Special Forces" – just as special forces are hidden, small in number and incredibly efficient, so will we operate.

• "Illumination came from them" – we will be filled with and release revelation and glory.

• "U.S. Marshall of the new sound" – we will function as Christ's Ekklesia, the representatives of His Kingdom government on earth; as such, we will expose the enemies of God, disrupt their plans, enforce Heaven's rule, and reform America.

This is all consistent with Matthew 16:13-19; please read it:

Peter Confesses Jesus as the Christ:

When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, "Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?" So they said, "Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in Heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven."

The passage speaks of revelation; the authority of Christ; Christ's Ekklesia—the representatives of His Kingdom government on earth; binding and loosing; and releasing Heaven's judgments against the powers of Hell. Psalm 149 tells us all the saints are honored with the potential of participating in this activity.

Could it be that God is about to shift the praying earth into a new dimension of all this? I believe so!

The New Era

One of the great shifts in process within the Body of Christ is regarding our role as Christ's Ekklesia (Church). Most of you probably know that in Christ's day, the Word did not mean a religious service, organization, or building; it was a legislative assembly. We are "representatives" of Christ's Kingdom government on earth.

Certain streams of the Body of Christ have functioned well as His family and Bride. Few of us, however, have operated at a high level as His Ekklesia. Binding and loosing, opening and closing spiritual doors, releasing Heaven's decrees to earth—these governmental functions have occurred only at fairly low levels.

This is about to change.

The turnaround for America is only part of God's plan for this gathering. One prophecy concerning the upcoming Turnaround conference stated that the worldwide prayer movement will be launched into its next phase. Functioning as Christ's Ekklesia IS that new phase! The Church is about to move into a completely new level of enforcing Kingdom rule and the will of God on earth.

One of the interesting things recently pointed out to me about the location of the Turnaround Conference is that we will be meeting between the FBI and DOJ, the two governmental agencies that have frequently been in the news lately. We know that thousands of wonderful, dedicated people work in these two organizations. We also know, however, they are two of the agencies from which a few corrupt individuals have tried to destroy the president.

We will operate in our Kingdom authority while there, breaking the back of this attempt to render President Trump ineffective. We will decree the exposing and failure of all attempts to sabotage his presidency. We will release favor over him, enabling him to accomplish everything for which God sent him to the White House—including the turning of the Supreme Court! President Trump will fulfill all of God's purposes for him.

Join us on February 22-24. Be prepared to walk in your governmental authority as a member of Christ's Ekklesia. We will birth the turnaround in America and we will launch the new era of kingdom authority!

The finest days of the Church are not behind us; they are ahead. Let's write history together!
