A Prophetic Message of Hope ✡ "I Will Restore My People Yisrael" - Israel365

I will restore My people Yisrael. They shall rebuild ruined cities and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and drink their wine; They shall till gardens and eat their fruits
Amos 9:14 (The Israel Bible™)

A Prophetic Message of Hope

Despite the predictions of punishments that will befall the children of Israel, Amos ends his prophecy with a message of hope. He proclaims that the day will come when the people will return to the Land of Israel, build houses, plant vineyards and trees, and enjoy their fruits. The Israel Bible notes that this prophecy is reminiscent of the idyllic times described by Micha (4:4) when every man shall sit “Under his grapevine or fig tree with no one to disturb him.” Amos concludes by comparing the people to a sapling planted firmly in the ground. Their connection to the Land of Israel will never again be uprooted.

Who Knows 70? I Know 70!

By Tuly Weisz
Numbers have great meaning in Judaism, and Israel’s 70th year of independence takes on special significance when we realize that, according to Jewish tradition, 70 represents the nations of the world.

Why Kabbalists Are Celebrating Israel’s 70th Anniversary

By Dr. Michael Laitman
After 2,000 years of ups and downs, light and darkness, glory and exile, the veil has been lifted over the wisdom of Israel—the wisdom of Kabbalah—and we are becoming ripe to start using it to realize our true role in the world.

Every Day is a Day of Remembrance
For Israel

By Karen Hurvitz
On April 18, when Israelis recognized those who died defending the country, they also commemorated not only the soldiers who died in the distant past, but those who have died since, including the two soldiers who were killed just last March, when a Palestinian driver rammed his car into a group of four soldiers patrolling on the side of the road.

March of Return Nothing More Than Terrorists’ Plaything

By Sarah N. Stern
This “march” was not a peaceful demonstration reminiscent of the sit-ins of Selma, Ala. The protestors sought to storm the border with lethal intent, hurling firebombs, rocks and burning tires at Israeli soldiers. In at least two cases, they fired bullets directly at troops on the other side.

Israel Stands with Hungary’s Nationalist Government

Notably, the first foreign leader who called Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to congratulate him for his decisive victory in Hungary’s parliamentary elections Sunday was Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Rise of Western Civilizationism

By Daniel Pipes
Victor Orbán’s landslide electoral victory on Sunday, gaining 134 seats out of 199 in Hungary’s parliament, increases his governing supermajority and endorses his tough policy of excluding illegal immigrants, especially from the Middle East. His success dramatizes a new reality across Europe and in Australia: a novel kind of party has emerged, disturbing the political scene and arousing impassioned debate.

Prophetic Word: Stop Building Monuments and Start Becoming a Movement - JOE JOE DAWSON CHARISMA NEWS

Prophetic Word: Stop Building Monuments and Start Becoming a Movement

JOE JOE DAWSON  CHARISMA NEWS
Recently in prayer, I have been discussing this thought with the Lord, "God, what I do, I want to be doing it strong, five years from now and 10 years, 20 years and even 40 years from now." I don't ever want to be someone who is doing something great for the Lord and then kind of fade away. I want to leave a legacy for my children, my grandchildren and my spiritual children.
What the Lord has been speaking to me is, "always be a movement and never create a monument." A monument is something the men build in order to honor a dead work. It may have started as a movement in a church, a ministry or even a movement in a nation but did not sustain and eventually became just a monument. A monument commemorates something that was once alive but is now dead and gone.
But the Lord is saying this, "If you always love your life as a movement, then you will never become a monument." Whenever your time is over, your life and your movement will continue. There are so many great men of God who now have universities in their name, and the movements they started are still going on and impacting many generations.
There are so many denominations that sadly have based their theology and doctrines on great charismatic and Pentecostal movements from the past, but their services today are dry and dead. Why? Because they camped out on something the Lord did in the past instead of staying current with what the Lord was doing.
At our ministry, we love to sing songs about the river of God. Have you ever seen a natural river that is straight for hundreds of miles? No! Because they have many twists and turns because of the moment of the water. The water in a river is constantly moving and changing as fresh water comes in and moves down the river. You can never step in the same river twice, because the water is always moving. That is the same way our relationship with the Lord should be. This is how our services and ministries should be, always staying fresh and moving with the Lord.
What we must understand is certain ministries and churches or ministers and denominations often camp out somewhere, perhaps on a certain set of meetings, particular songs or theology. But the problem is they have camped out and said, "It has to look this way" or "It has to sound that way," but the river of God has gone in the opposite direction. But if we do not want to become monuments, we have to live our lives always staying fresh, following the river of God. We must always be seeking to move with the Holy Spirit.
My friends, whether you know it or not, so many people are depending on you. Your life, your business, your marriage, your ministry must remain a movement, not a monument.
In my marriage, my wife and I have been married for almost 18 years, and we intentionally keep our marriage fresh. We also stay creative with our children as we parent them. We don't just do the same thing all the time. We never camp out on one specific thing that we do together. We are always taking different types of vacations. We always try to do different things together that are exciting.
If you cultivate a fresh move of the Spirit in your personal life, it will spill out into your business, your ministry and all that God has you put our hands to. Stay current with God and never just keep doing what you did in one season. Always stay fresh with God by keeping yourself consistent in the place of prayer. Always make your life, your business and your ministry a movement with God and never allow yourself to create a monument.

Choose Wisely - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

Choose Wisely

Now Think On This
Steve Martin

“The wisdom of the wise keeps life on track; the foolishness of fools lands them in the ditch.” (Proverbs 14:8, THE MESSAGE)

Have you ever gone down a wrong way, thinking at the time it was the right way, and end up somewhere you wish you hadn’t? Whether it be a road, a choice in life or a decision made hurriedly to avoid making another one, only to find out later it was just the wrong decision.

I have. And I have had to pay a price for it.

Sometimes it cost time. Other occasions it cost money. And then even at a more hurtful occurrence, it cost a relationship. Many times the wrong can’t be undone and you live with the pain and hurt for many years. Try as you might, there are repercussions to our actions that have to be walked out.

When I consider a lost relationship between friends, one that had taken years to build, I find myself trusting once again in the goodness of the Lord, after seeking forgiveness and reconciliation with them, ending with no positive results. Our times are in His hands, and we must trust that His restoration hopefully will come at some point.

There is one choice that many continue to decide to do, and that is to walk day by day without giving one’s life to the Lord’s plan and purpose for oneself. To me, that would be unthinkable. To go through this life choosing to do our own thing, without thought or consideration of having the Creator, the very One who created each of us, be unable to reveal His ultimate desire for our life because of our choosing not to let Him. To ignore His longing to give us the future and the hope promised to each, if only we freely choose to let Him in, would indeed be tragic. And yet many choose the unthinkable and do just that.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.” (Jeremiah 29:11-14, NKJV)

No one person, family or country can long seek their own way and reap the ultimate results of goodness without the love of God working through them. All around us we can see the lasting effects of those who have gone before us, choosing to live as one sang decades ago, “I did it my way.” And where did that get you?

Our lifelong choices not only affect our ending but decisions we make ripple down through those who follow behind us, possibly making the same mistakes as they too walk in our footsteps.

When I was in my late 20’s I heard a message from the pulpit, when the leader of the church gathering told us that choices we make today will have a long-lasting effect decades down the road. If we make the decision to go one way, even if just a slight turn off the correct path, ultimately we will possibly end up way off the mark, and the only way to get back on the right road would be to go back to that point and choose the right one. It is called repentance.

In my walk with the Lord, I considered this word quite often, and sought to have the Holy Spirit give me clarity and insight as to which road to choose each time I came to a fork in the road. Many times it wasn’t the easy choice, or the “multitudes” choice, but it was the Lord’s choice. To this day I can say I am very thankful for His guidance and direction He has certainly given.

My prayer is that today, when you are faced with a decision that will impact your life for years to come, that you will not depend on your own insights, your own feelings, or what is the “likely” choice, but that you will seek the roadmap the Lord already knows about and has laid out before you were born, and which we can know – through His Word and by receiving godly counsel from others. And then walk in faith no matter what the cost may be. It will affect not only your eternity but others around you.

We all have been given a free will, but we also have been given God’s Word, His Holy Spirit, and the fellowship of believers to help guide us.

Choose wisely.

Shalom and ahava (peace and love in Hebrew).
