Israel: Only Removal of Hamas Can Solve Gaza's Problems

Monday, June 11, 2018 |  Israel Today Staff
Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday convened his cabinet to discuss proposals for easing the dire humanitarian conditions effecting many residents of the Gaza Strip.
The measures discussed centered primarily on providing Gaza with more electricity, fresh water and food.
But by the end of the day, the cabinet couldn't come to any agreement on the proposals, and it Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman's words of warning that echoed loudest.
"Whoever thinks improving the civilian and economic situation in Gaza will halt the terror kites and the violence, is simply wrong," Liberman told Army Radio ahead of the meeting.
"Enough with all sorts of illusions and delusions that improving the economy will end terror," he continued. "The opposite is true — they’ll understand that with use of force and violence they can achieve political goals. To improve the reality in the Gaza Strip, the Hamas regime must be toppled. Anyone who wants more than four hours of electricity a day must topple the Hamas regime."
Typically the situation is reported in the mainstream international media as Israel imposing unfair sanctions that amount to collective punishment on the people of Gaza.
What's often left out of those reports is the fact that Egypt is also blockading Gaza, and for the same reasons as Israel - to prevent the coastal enclave's Hamas overlords from importing weapons and bolstering its military infrastructure. Similarly, the Palestinian Authority itself, which is currently blaming Israel for all of Gaza's woes, has for years cut salaries to government workers in Hamas-ruled Gaza (the government is the largest employer) and has refused to pay for most of the electricity that Israel supplies to the territory.
Hamas-ruled Gaza is indeed under siege, but not only from Israel. In fact, of the three parties blockading and/or sanctioning Hamas-ruled Gaza, Israel is by far doing the most to ease the burden on local residents.

I sensed my friend Kim Clement as I stood at the Mount. Was thinking that the prophetic gift he had is now being released. The ear to hear what the Spirit is saying. Nations are in the valley of decision. It’s Israel’s 70th year and the Nations are already voting on its right to exist.

I found the answers the rabbis couldn't give!

Mike Smith, the jockey riding Justify in Saturday night's Belmont Stakes, could have said anything
in his first television interview. Instead of thanking the horse's owner and the trainer, the very first
thing he told NBC while being interviewed on horseback following the race, "First of all, I want to
thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ."

Justify led all the way in New York's Belmont Stakes winning by 1 3/4 lengths to gain immortality
as horse racings 13th Triple Crown winner.

There was some show of competition from the other horses. Vino Rosso made a move to get within
a length of Justify but never improved. Justify pulled away from the pack for good down the stretch
in front of a packed grandstand of screaming fans.

'All I Do Is Pray': Jockey Mike Smith Relying on God for Next Race with 'Justify'

The chestnut colt is the second horse to sweep the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and Belmont,
improving to 6-0 in a racing career that began on Feb. 18. Seattle Slew was unbeaten when he
won the Triple Crown in 1977.

At the age of 52, Smith, a devout Christian, is the oldest jockey to win the Triple Crown.

He told CBN News last month how he prepares for a big race -- with training strategy and prayer.

Smith garnered extra attention after the Derby in May when he thanked Jesus during his first
interview after crossing the finish line. Smith told reporters, "I just want to thank my Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ for blessing us on this afternoon, and blessing us with this amazing horse."

"I just couldn't keep it inside of me," Smith told CBN News. "I truly give God all the glory and
I had to say it. Without Him, I wouldn't have all the success I do." Smith said that when he's
mounted on his horse, he follows God just as he normally would.

"I believe there's just a flow that guides me and when I follow it, amazing things happen," he said.
"And that's with everyday life too. When God's leading you, you follow it."

Smith's riding career began in 1982. He says he's ridden plenty of amazing horses but that there
is just something special about Justify.

"He's sent from Heaven," Smith said. "He's just got this 'it' factor. Everything he does is exceptional.
He's got a brilliant mind, and for a powerful racehorse like him who has a mind of his own, he's
still just eager to please. Even just looking at him he's this massive beautiful horse."

Bob Baffert became only the second trainer in history to win the Triple Crown twice. He did it with
American Pharoah in 2015.

Why This Is One of the Most Powerful Types of Prayer

GRETCHEN RODRIGUEZ  CHARISMA NEWS
Soundless prayers are often our most powerful ones. Voiceless utterances where we connect spirit to Spirit with the Lord become some of our deepest encounters. Maybe it's because all of us is poured out before the greatness of all of Him. We're completely open. Raw. There's no pretense or desire to impress Him with our eloquent words or lists of memorized Scripture. We simply exist. Fully yielded to the one who already knows.
With no words left, when we forget how to ask, how to petition, and the sword of the Word feels too heavy on our lips, we come. We thrust ourselves before His grace and mercy, and He meets us. With the strength and gentleness of arms that can only belong to our Lord, He scoops us up and allows us to rest. His strength undeservedly becomes ours, until we can once again wield that sword with accuracy and power. Although we may not hear Him say a word, we feel Him—filling our most toxic places with the light of His glory. We experience a tangible knowing far greater than natural understanding.
This is the place of abandon. It is also the place of great empowering. Though we feel shattered and undone, it's in this place of pain that we discover how real Jesus is. Pain becomes the surgeon's hand that opens us up to receive the new. The healthy. The unmistakably miraculous. Jesus, our healer, knows how to turn what is meant for harm, into something beautiful. The enemy cannot steal what we receive in these moments. These snippets of eternal bliss that overflow into every facet of our being, become heavenly manna for us to eat from. Feast upon. Serve others from.
Today, the Lord wants to remind you that He sees. He knows. He's with you. You may feel as though darkness has swallowed you whole, but for every lie, He is the truth. Light comes on the whispers of His breath. Lean in. Rest now and receive. His love always finds a way. His strength is yours. Selah.
"Surrender your anxiety! Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God" (Ps. 46:10a, TPT).

God's Bountiful Blessing ✡ "Hashem Ordained Blessing, Everlasting Life" - Israel365

Like the dew of Chermon that falls upon the mountains of Tzion. There Hashem ordained blessing, everlasting life.
Psalms 133:3 (The Israel Bible™)

God's Bountiful Blessing

Tal (טל), ‘dew,’ is a common biblical symbol of Hashem’s  (God's) bountiful blessings. Rain is another sign of God’s love for mankind. What is the difference between rain and dew? According to Jewish mysticism, rain is a sign of God showering his abundant blessings freely from above. Dew, which forms below from condensation of atmospheric water vapor, is related to the divine blessings which are a result of man’s own efforts and achievements. This psalm teaches that Hashem’s blessing from above allows for the flowering of man’s work below.
