The Irony of Using the Palestinian Flag to Protest Israel's Nation-State Law - israel today

PUT DOWN ROOTS IN ISRAEL! Fruit of our vineyard
With a Zionist pioneering spirit, for greening the desert and trusting in God, we decided on the Negev for our vineyard not far from biblical Kadesh Barnea. Our vineyard has survived not only the heat and desert winds, but also the "eighth plague" of huge swarms of locusts from Egypt in 2013. Our farmer and winemaker Oren Shalom maintains the vineyard with loving tender care.

Dead Promises Restored to Life by Elaine Tavolacci Identity Network

Dead Promises Restored to Life by Elaine TavolacciDead Promises Restored to Life by Elaine Tavolacci

Identity Network

There is a phenomenal story in the book of 2 Kings Chapter 4: 8- 36 of the prophet Elisha who went into a town called Shunem (Shunem means double resting place). There was a prominent woman there who prepared a meal for him and built a small upper room for him to stay each time he came to town. The room had a bed, a table, a chair and a lamp stand. She prepared this place for him because she perceived the anointing on his life.

Elisha wanted to pay her back for her kindness so he told his servant Gehazi to ask her what he could do for her. He even asked her if she wanted him to speak on her behalf to the king or the commander of the army. Gehazi told Elisha that her husband was old and that she didn't have a son. Elisha had the anointing and authority to prophesy into her life that she would have a son in one year. When he first prophesied this to her she didn't believe it. One year later she conceived and bore a son just as Elisha said.

After a few years her promised son died. She took him up to Elisha's room and laid him on his bed. When her husband questioned her what was wrong she replied "all is well". She then saddled her donkey and went to Mt. Carmel to look for Elisha. As she arrived in Mt. Carmel Elisha saw her afar off and sent his servant Gehazi to ask her if all was well with her husband and her child. She replied "all is well" because she believed the promise of God. When she told Elisha that the boy was dead, he sent Gehazi immediately back to the boy to lay his staff on his face. Then she said something familiar to Elisha that he always said to his mentor Elijah. She said: "As the Lord lives, and as you live I will not leave you."

Gehazi went ahead and did as he was told but returned to tell Elisha that the boy did not wake up. Elisha then went into the house himself, up to the room and shut the door. The boy was dead. He put his eyes to his eyes, mouth to his mouth, hands to his hands and stretched himself out on him. The boy's body became warm. Elisha then walked back and forth and then stretched out on the boy a second time. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes as life returned to his body. Elisha told the women to go into the room and pick up her son. God had resurrected the Shunamite woman's son. A similar miracle occurred in the same manner when his mentor Elijah raised a boy back to life. (1 Kings 17:19 - 24)

Commissioned to Your Call

There are promises that the Lord has made to you that have died. Some of you have ministries that were once thriving but are now nonexistent. Some of you used to heal the sick but you feel as if the glory has left you. The Lord wants to resurrect the gifts and callings that have perished. He is about to breathe into those situations that are impossible in the natural. Just as Elisha brought the Shunammite woman's dead son back to life as he laid on the boy mouth to mouth, eye to eye, hand to hand, the boy was restored back to life. He is going to resuscitate you with his breath and revive those dead areas in your life. He is breathing life into believers in this season of great exploits. Don't look at things in the natural because the Lord is about to commission you in what he has called you to do. As you rise up and decree and declare that "all is well" Jesus will honor your faith and raise that which is dead back to life.

2 Kings 4:32–35 When Elisha came into the house, there was the child, lying dead on his bed. He went in therefore, shut the door behind the two of them, and prayed to the Lord. And he went up and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes and his hands on his hands; and he stretched himself out on the child, and the flesh of the child became warm. He returned and walked back and forth in the house, and again went up and stretched himself out on him; then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

Job 33:4 The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

Chuck Pierce: This White House Declaration Opened a Gate the Enemy Has Long Tried to Shut - Steve Strang

Chuck Pierce (YouTube/Jewish Voice)
Chuck Pierce has a passion for Israel, or as he calls it, God's nation. In fact, Chuck says when God visited him, He revealed Himself as "the God of Israel." Chuck's spirit longs for believers to once again align with God's heart for Israel.
I quoted Chuck throughout in my new book, Trump Aftershock, regarding his insight into the spiritual significance of Donald Trump's presidency. (Trump Aftershock will release this November. You can pre-order it onamazon.com and christianbook.comnow.) Chuck received a prophetic word in 2008 that God was going to play a "trump card," but it wasn't until later that he understood God was referring to Donald Trump.
Chuck recently joined me in the podcast studio, where I asked him about a spiritually significant event in Washington, D.C., that took place in May 2017. Vice President Mike Pence held a gathering at the White House to celebrate Israel's Independence Day. He invited a wide array of pro-Israel leaders, both inside and outside of government. Chuck points out that this has never happened before in the history of the White House.
"When Vice President Pence stood up to speak, it was a dramatic shifting of a presence of God in that White House," Chuck tells me. "And [Pence] said, 'As long as this administration is in place, we will be Israel's best friend. We will align with Israel. We will recognize Israel.'"
Chuck says that momentous White House gathering opened up a gate the enemy has long tried to shut. After all, only a few months later, Trump made the decision to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Doing so sent a clear message that the U.S. supports Jerusalem as Israel's true capital. From a prophetic point of view, Chuck says that move had to happen this year.
"What makes that so important is that's a biblical decree," Chuck says. "And it opened up a portal over America for a divine return, a divine return for justice, a divine return for harvest—because everybody knows there will be a New Jerusalem that comes down—a divine return back to our covenant blessings in a new way."
Listen to my podcast interview with Chuck to learn how God is using Trump in this hour and why all believers should watch Israel closely this year.

James W. Goll: "10 Prophetic Principles in a Time of Great Transition"

THE ELIJAH LIST  Aug 11, 2018

Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:
I have the utmost respect for prophet James Goll...I always look forward to reading his latest revelations and what the Lord is saying to him.
There is no doubt...we are living in great times of transition and change.
James sheds light on this very subject and what he shares here will really help you:
Are we going from one era of history into another? How big is this transition? As someone who has had a love for history and has been a participant in multiple waves or movements of the Holy Spirit throughout my life, I am often asked, "What are the requirements to go from one stage to the next?" We must also consider this question: "To go through an open door, are there old doors we must close first?"
So let's look together at some critical principles that will help you succeed in these times of transition...
Be blessed as you learn many great principles by James Goll that will really help you in this time of major change! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

We are in a time of an enormous transition in society at large with many cities and nations being weighed in the balance. This level of turmoil on an international scale reflects the condition of the Body of Christ. It is a time of upheaval and contention, which ultimately results in change. I believe there are 10 key prophetic principles that will help you not just survive, but thrive in times of transition.
We are at a crossroads of change. This is true politically in the Middle East, the Korean Peninsula, the US, Russia, China, Cuba, Venezuela, and many other nations. Every continent is being shaken in one way or another.
Issues such as global economics, the very moral foundation of this generation, uncivil wars, polarization, concerns of social justice and health care reform are in a time of convulsive shaking. The intense battle over the selection of a Supreme Court Justice of the United States is critical indeed. During this time, the Body of Christ needs to be a pillar of prayer releasing prophetic solutions to bring hope during times when everything that can be shaken is being shaken. We truly need grace for this transition!
"Most often, dealing with the new thing coming isn't what is difficult, it's the transition from the old state of affairs to the new one."
So let's look together at some critical principles that will help you succeed in these times of transition.
From Narrow—to Transition—to Enlargement
We are in a process of change. The government of the Church is changing. The level of our authority is changing. Gifts are being drawn out of us in stretching dimensions. Many in the Body of Christ are going through places of testing and confinement which I would call a narrow place.
What is this "narrow place?" It is a place less wide than that to which we have expected or are accustomed. If we respond properly to the "narrow or confined place" we will enter into a phase of "transition" to be brought into a "larger place" in the Spirit.
Transition is like the camel going through the eye of the needle—it was a narrow gate. The only way the camel could get through was to be unloaded. This is the needle—the narrow gate. The weights of the past must be unloaded and we must enter a place of fresh commitment to the cross where we die to self all over again. The "narrow place" can lead us out of captivity into a new open field. (Photo via James Goll)
Another way to express it is that we are going from an "old wineskin to a new wineskin." As the "new wine" is poured we must develop flexible new wineskins to contain the increase. Old structures will be tested in these times as the next wave of the Holy Spirit emerges. But will these wineskins in both society and the Church be able to handle all this change? How can we succeed in making this degree of transition as nations, people groups, cities and the Church?
How Can You Succeed in Transition?
Transition means passing from one condition into another. Transition times are when the Lord redefines and adjusts the rules in a way necessary for us to move forward. He gives us new focus and direction. He teaches us about Himself in a new way.
In a literary sense, a transition is the phrase that connects a previous sentence or paragraph with a future thought. In times of change, we must seek the Lord for both revelation and the ways of God. His revelatory perspective bridges the past season with the new one. Without clear revelation and communication during transition, we can lose the strength and wisdom of our past victory. We desperately need His strength to go from glory to glory and from change to change.
Can't You Talk Louder, God?
During a birth, transition is the most difficult time. It is the time when a mother feels, "I can not go any further!" Only the vision of the child to come causes the endurance and perseverance to press through to the ultimate goal of a lineage and legacy being secured.
Most often, dealing with the new thing coming isn't what is difficult, it's the transition from the old state of affairs to the new one. How we respond during times of transition prior to the new birth makes all the difference. As you travail in these seasons, ask the Lord to give you strategy to protect your vision. Remember, the dragon attempts to steal any new birth. Press forward! Cry out for greater grace to be granted to keep you moving forward.
When these changes manifest, enlargement occurs. To "enlarge" is to expand, to set free, to become greater in size and intensity. Enlargement—or going through the new door or new season—is a process, not just a proclamation. Press through the narrow place, embrace the transition and receive enlargement.
10 Prophetic Principles within the Process of Change
"During this time, the Body of Christ needs to be a pillar of prayer releasing prophetic solutionists to bring hope during times when everything that can be shaken is being shaken."
These thoughts on transition and change are not just theory to me. I have been tested over and over again. Many of you know the hardships I have personally faced over the past decade (and am still facing). Deep within my heart, I knew that the very foundation of this 32 year-old ministry (originally named Ministry to the Nations, which became Encounters Network, and now is God Encounters Ministries) was going to be shaken at its core.
I had to be willing to lay it all on the Lord's altar and dismantle what took me decades to build. This summer at 66 years old, I have been in another crucible. I felt a little like Abraham, taking my Isaac to the mountain. The only instrument of worship I possessed was a knife with which to potentially sacrifice my Isaac. But then the Lord!
Has everything changed? Not on the surface. I know this—I pushed the button called "trust in the Lord". If we, as a ministry, were to pass through this pressure-filled transition, then we would need the Holy Spirit to invigorate us and allow us to build once again instead of dismantling. This amazing God we serve brings beauty out of ashes.
During my protracted transition, I have actually had very little personal direction. Only one phrase continually stuck with me, "Do you trust Me?" I would answer, "Yes, I do trust You, Lord!" I decided whether the ministry lived or died was not the primary issue. The Lord wanted all of me all over again. No matter what! What if I never traveled to the nations again? What if I never wrote another book or what if I fell off the radar of the conference circuit? Would I trust Him? The bottom line was—my answer is "Yes"! What is your answer?
The following are ten prophetic principles within the process of change that have helped guide me through yet another perilous time of transition:
• A new level of revelation is released.
• Your present vision starts to be adjusted.
• New vision is secured and established.
• A mantle of restoration is placed upon you.
• You go through healing concerning things of the past.
• A new identity is developed within you.
• Fresh strategies are revealed to you.
• You see a greater fullness of your inheritance before you.
• You possess the strength to overthrow your enemies.
• You secure your new inheritance. (Photo via James Goll)
The Key: Embrace the Process
My prayer is that if you are experiencing a "narrow place of confinement" or you sense you are in transition, be assured—He is about to visit you with a fresh demonstration of His Spirit. Here is the key to make it through these tumultuous times: embrace the process! Embrace the change as something good—not as a punishment.
Let fresh faith arise. May you be renewed! May your resources increase and may you see that your trials will become stepping stones to renewed power and vision.
And know this—when you have come through the new door there are others watching your pilgrimage. When you are strengthened, you will carry a larger capacity to turn and strengthen others in Jesus' glorious name! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)
Be strengthened to thrive in a time of transition!
