Prophecy Fulfilled: Hundreds of Jewish Immigrants Come Home to Israel this Summer
07-19-2019
CBN News Julie Stahl
TEL AVIV, Israel - Thousands of Jewish people from around the world are expected to immigrate to Israel this summer, fulfilling the words of the biblical prophets. CBN News was at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport when the first planeload of the summer arrived.
A big welcome party awaited two hundred new immigrants who arrived in Israel to make the Jewish State their home.
“I feel so happy and loved and I don’t know how to explain. It’s so crazy the people here waiting for us – the party, the music, the entire joy of this. It’s magic,” said Carolina Carolina Hidalgo, a new immigrant from Argentina.
“I’m always excited when I see new immigrants coming on Aliyah to Eretz Israel to the ancient homeland. I’m very moved by this because it encompasses three continents: Europe, Latin America and Asia,” said Isaac Herzog, Chairman of the Jewish Agency, the organization responsible for “Aliyah” or immigration to Israel.
“They’re all here in one big event, which epitomizes the great plight of the Jewish people in their return to their ancient homeland,” Herzog told CBN News as he waited to welcome the newcomers.
These are the first arrivals on special flights this summer.
“We’re working all over the world.  This year we’ll have 30,000 immigrants from 40 countries. It’s an incredible story,” Herzog said.
Among the newcomers are Brazilian and Argentinian singles who will study in an intensive Hebrew-language school called “ulpan” for several months.  Then they’ll look for jobs or continue with higher education.
“I’m an actress so I’m going to try to work with that. I’m also a makeup artist so I came with that idea,” Hidalgo told CBN News.
“Here I’m going to study Hebrew in Kibbutz Magan Michael and then I’ll be in the army for a year and a half.  And then like all Israelis, I will travel and then I’ll return to study music in Jerusalem,” said Octavio Moshe Peron, a new arrival from Argentina.
“First I want to really learn Hebrew, so I’m going to do Ulpan, very intensive right now, then I will start searching job as a scientist, in hi-tech,” said Ari Korenvais, another new immigrant from Argentina.
They came for different reasons.
“I came here because when I was little, I was living here with my family for a while, like four months and I fell in love with this country and the people and the culture so I always want to come back here and now I have the possibility, I came,” Hidalgo said.
“The economic situation is really great. OK neighborhood countries are not the best things but I don’t have to worry when I walk through the streets really here,” Korenvais said.
“I came to Israel because I’m a Zionist. I love Israel and I’m hoping to make it my home,” said Abraham Chevelen from Ohio.
Chevelen, who has been here for just one week, came back to the airport to welcome the newcomers.
“I learned some Hebrew back in America. Thankfully, I’m very good at languages. I speak Chinese fluently. I plan on doing business with China in Israel and if I can do Chinese I can hopefully do Hebrew, right?” he said.
Many would see the arrival of these new immigrants as the fulfillment of God’s Word when He said He would re-gather Israel and plant them in their land.

3 Scriptural Warnings for the Biblically Illiterate in These End Times - GARY CURTIS CHARISMA NEWS

3 Scriptural Warnings for the Biblically Illiterate in These End Times

GARY CURTIS  CHARISMA NEWS
I've been intrigued recently at the number of times the New Testament epistles speak of people being "ignorant."
The apostles' intent was not malicious nor mean spirited. The Greek word used is agnoeo' and simply means "not knowing." One might say that these people were "uninformed," "unlearned," or "uninitiated." In each reference, they were "biblically illiterate" of the subject or issue.
Biblical illiteracy is a critical problem in our "post-Christian" era. Our modern world has produced a biblically "ignorant" generation, which does not know God nor His prophetic plans for the end of this age.
As such, they are culturally ignorant of His call to repentance and holiness. We must inform, enlighten and seek to save or rescue these ignorant ones, "snatching them from the fire" of hell itself (Jude 1:23, NIV). This is our mission "while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work" (John 9:4, MEV).

Scriptural instruction from the New Testament regarding the biblically "ignorant" can be divided into three areas.
1. Biblical illiteracy has produced a current generation which does not know God.
  • In Romans 10:3, Paul taught that some were "ignorant of God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God."
  • When he taught the Romans regarding the grafting in of the Gentile church and the future restoration of Israel, Paul said, "For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, lest you be wise in your own estimation, for a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in" (11:25).
  • In teaching the Corinthians about spiritual gifts, Paul said: "I do not want you to be ignorant ... you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, 'Jesus be cursed!' And no one can say, 'Jesus is the Lord,' except by the Holy Spirit" (1 Cor. 12:1-3).
  • Our natural, sinful inclinations find expression no matter how good we may think we are. Paul told young Timothy that he, previously, as a religious zealot, was "a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and an insolent man. But I was shown mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief" (1 Tim. 1:13).
  • The writer to the Hebrews spoke of Jesus as our Great High Priest, who "is able to have compassion on the ignorant and on those who are wayward, for he himself is also subject to weakness" (Heb. 5:2).
America was built on the biblical principles held by its founders, and the Bible's precepts were inculcated into our children by songs sung and Scriptures taught. Over the decades and generations, these "God and Country" foundations were reinforced in American schoolhouses and practiced in America's homes.
From this historic heritage, the nation, as a whole, had a strong biblical literacy and respect for biblical principles for most of its nearly 250 years. The God of the Bible was referenced in public documents, carved into declarations on our public buildings/monuments, embraced as our national motto and incorporated on our coins and currency.
Now, however, liberal biases, political correctness and liberal-leaning judicial decisions have dulled our Judeo-Christian values and patriotic expressions. We are left with a generation which does not know nor attempt to serve our great God.
2. Biblical illiteracy has produced a generation which does not know God's plan for the last days.
The apostle Paul praised the believers in Thessalonica, who had "turned to God from idols" and now waited for "His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead—Jesus, who delivered us from the wrath to come" (1 Thess. 1:9, 10). It was a glorious promise of eternal life. But, what if some of them died before the Lord's return?
Paul realized they were somewhat ignorant of God's plan for the last days. He gave them clearer revelation in Chapter four: "I would not have you ignorant, brothers, concerning those who are asleep," [a euphemism for having died], "that you may not grieve as others who have no hope" (1 Thess. 4:13).
Death, dying and grief can consume a lot of man's emotions and resources. Being ignorant of the hope of Christ's return for His own (1 Thess. 4:13-18) continues to leave many with profoundly messed-up lives. They find no comfort. They have no "blessed hope" to sustain them.
Having no hope themselves, unbelievers tend to scoff and scorn those who do. Peter explains that they "willingly ignore" (2 Pet. 3:5b) the fact that:
  • God once destroyed the world that then existed with a flood and all, except righteous Noah and his family, perished (v. 6).
  • The heaven and earth that now exist are being reserved for destruction by fire in the "Day of Judgment," which will also destroy the ungodly inhabitants (v. 7).
  • One day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day (v. 8). Those who think the Bible's prophecies of mass destruction and eternal damnation are never going to be fulfilled are "ignorant" and watching the wrong timepiece.
  • The Lord is not slow but patient! He does not want any to perish, but all to come to repentance" (v. 9).
3. Biblical illiteracy has produced a current generation that does not know God's critical call to repentance and holy living.
Continuing to consider Peter's instruction for these last days, we note that he not only speaks of our Lord wanting souls to come to repentance but also warns of future judgment, when the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, in the "day of the Lord," and the elements of this earth will be destroyed with intense heat (2 Pet. 3:10-12).
  • Accordingly, Peter questions "what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness" (v. 11b).
  • He reminds us that according to God's promise, "we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells" (v. 13).
  • Finally, Peter urges us to "be diligent that you may be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless" (v. 14b). Holy living now (by the empowerment of the abiding Holy Spirit) prepares us for living before a holy God, "where righteousness dwells" (v. 13b).
  • Peter even described the end-times teachings of the apostle Paul as being "hard to understand" (v. 16) but warned that "unlearned and unstable" (v. 16) people distort this "wisdom given to him" (v. 15) "to their own destruction" (v. 16).
Biblical illiteracy about these last days' truths needs to be individually owned and observed! We are all vulnerable, in these wicked times, lest we "also fall from your own firm footing, being led away by the deception of the wicked" (v. 17).
Deception can keep us from practicing continual confession, true repentance and holy living. The solution is Peter's final verse: "Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (v. 18). Saturating ourselves in the Word of God is critical to biblical literacy, spiritual growth and victorious Christian living in these last days!

“We Came Expecting and Ready. Then God Shows Up” - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

“We Came Expecting and Ready. Then God Shows Up

“Then Mary said, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her.” Luke 1:38, NKJV

A good friend and co-worker at Antioch International Church in Fort Mill, South Carolina shared this testimony of what the Lord called him to do, and in faith, asked him to trust and obey.

Read his testimony, and then ask the Lord for faith to also hear and obey. It will cost you too.

But nothing else is really worth it...

On a Friday night in July 2019, when I was on my way to the worship service at Antioch, I was running late. I was supposed to be playing percussion on the worship team but was not feeling that well; even contemplating to not go. I was actually on Cherry Road in Rock Hill, about to get on I77. I called my wife Robbie and told her I think I am just going to come back home. She responded to me with, “Just go and if you don't feel well then just come home.”

Upon arrival, I walked into worship a little after 7:15 pm. At some point, while I was in worship I was drawn to Ed Brigham, the appointed leader of the night. The Lord began to speak to me by saying “New Day”.

I then began to see in the spirit Ed standing on a beachhead looking out at either a sunrise or sunset. Then understanding came that it was Ed looking out and wondering what he was observing as I was walking up to give him the word, “New Day.” After I shared this with him, I turned away in worship and prayer. As I did so, I was still seeing this ocean scene and began to see an old pier having all the pillars there but most of the top planks where missing.

I asked the Lord what this was and what does it mean, as I walked towards the back of the sanctuary.

He brought to my attention the lighting in the place. The front was well lit, and the back was not lit.

The Lord began to speak to me about how this is representative of where things are in the body.  Many things are seen but there are many things yet to be brought into the light.

I watched those worshiping in the back part of the sanctuary. The Holy Spirit was showing me that what I was hearing and seeing was of many in the body, who are faithful worshipers, are often in the quiet, unseen places of obscurity.  These brothers and sisters of the faith have much to offer but for various reasons like to be in the safe, unseen places of worship.

Looking at this old pier, I was impressed with the realization that likened them to the pillars as that of these faithful brothers and sisters. They were still standing and remained unmoved in their resolve devotion and love, both to the Lord and their fellow kin of the faith.

I asked the Lord what happened to this pier that put it in such disrepair. Was it a storm? Was it neglect? Was it abandoned? It was a little of all. Also, that man had built upon doctrinal acceptations that could not withstand the realities of the environment called into.  Yet the boards that remained are the doctrinal truths of the Father’s love established on His truth.

I watched as the Lord started to rebuild this pier. The pillars were being replaced with new ones being brought up from beneath them. It was an uprising that was reestablishing placement of the old pillars as the top decking of the pier. These pillars were being laid next to the planks that remained.

I stood there looking at those who were worshiping the Lord in the back of the sanctuary. I heard the Lord say, “I am calling up those who worship Me in the quiet place, who often doubt their value to me. I am calling all out to establish what I am about to finish building. You need not doubt what I have placed in you by the purity of My love, which is for you and in you. I need the gentleness and humble spirit in you to come forth. Come into the light, My faithful ones.”

I began to sense that those in the shadows of worship need to hear this. “You are valued and you need to share what I have placed in you.”

I then walked over and sat down on one of the camera stands to just soak, process, and listen to the Lord. I could continue to see this prier being built, as the sun was rising upon it. It was serene as it glistened with reflections of sunlight from the water mist on the boards. The pier had no end in sight. It was extended out over the sea.

Pastor Liz (Wyns) began sharing from the pulpit about surrendering everything to God. I heard her say something about our need to give it all to God. At this time the vision of the pier began to fade away as I heard Liz say you need to place it or leave it all at the altar of God.

Then the Lord began to speak to me about keys.

What I began to sense and hear was shocking to me. I heard the Father say, “Take your keys off your ring (this was my personal keys with my house and car keys.) I sat there in reluctant obedience as I took off the church building keys which I still had 4 of them on my key ring. I placed them in my other pocket. Upon doing so the Lord began to tell me that I needed to bring them up and place them on the altar.

I sat there telling the Father all the reasons why I need my keys. In the process of my debating with the Lord, He said that when Don Williamson gets up and goes to the altar, you are to go kneel beside him and place your keys on the altar. In my own reasoning, I thought, “Like Don is going to go up and kneel at the altar?” so I'm okay.

I believe it was within a minute after the Lord spoke this that Don stands up and starts walking forward. Upon witnessing this I began to say to myself, “No Don, don't go kneel at the altar.” But he does, and I was thinking, “Is this really happening?”

So, I get up and start heading to the altar. I was walking up with sadness and trembling in my whole body. I was still in a surreal place of shock with all this.

Kneeling at the altar, I placed my keys on it in prayer. I began to hear the Father speak. “Now you are laying down man’s authority in the keys you carried. This building became something it was never supposed to be to you. It has possessed you, for you had taken on responsibility and identities that were never meant for you to carry.”

I was repenting and asking forgiveness for allowing this to happen. I felt things being lifted off my back. The Father was almost apologetic in His tone towards me.

He went on to say, “The keys and authority I have called you to walk in have nothing to do with the keys you held for the building.”

I spent some time there on my knees at the altar as the Father dealt with me. When we were ending our time there, I spoke to the Father saying, “I just can’t leave these keys here. They are to the building.” He responded to me, “You may pick up the keys but they are to go on a separate key ring. They are never to go back on your personal key ring. There needs to be a separation.”

I got up and walked away, sitting down and wondering what this separation of the keys meant. I knew part of it was in how I identified or how my identity had become “all things building”, which is not who I am.

Don Williamson at some point walked back to where I was sitting and shared with me something about that he had given me the key I needed, but honestly, I did not recall it all. I was still in a place of bewilderment and processing.

At the end of the evening I was encouraged to go to receive prayer from Ed. I did. The word I received from him was, “The Lord said you are fit for duty. He has given you a new stripe and authority to walk.”

"What to Expect When God Promotes You"
Jennifer Eivaz, Turlock, CA

There are some prophetic words that just need to be reposted again and again. Don't forget this one. Print it out and put it in your journal. Remind yourself of the process and don't bail out.

"...Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won't be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings!" (Amos 9:13 MSG)

Your promotion will produce personal chaos. This is a blessing and not a curse. Know that if God is with you, you won't fail. He will give you the grace to recalibrate and rebalance. Cling to God tightly and press forward anyway. Don't return to the familiar or the comfortable. The cloud has moved. His grace is now found in the new place and not the old.

Don't Take off Your Crown!

He is gently reminding you that He has crowned you with glory and honor (Psalm 8:5 NKJV). You are to rise and shine...not duck and hide. Promotion is a visible event. It's not done in secret. Heaven will orchestrate its own coronation ceremony. Like Joshua, you will experience the Lord exalting you in front of people in order to establish His assignment on your life. Accept your assignment and don't take off your crown. Staying visible is valuable, and this is what glorifies God in this season.

Have You Lost Your Confidence?

"Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward." (Hebrews 10:35 NKJV)

Your personal confidence will feel unusually challenged in this season. Have you lost your confidence? Go back to where you gave it away and take it back. Your confidence, rooted in Christ, holds great reward!

Healing a Disease

At the same time, the Lord wants to heal a disease in the Body of Christ. It's the disease of insecurity and jealousy. When you know who you are in Christ, you are no longer jealous. The Word is the cure. Go back to the written Word. Anchor yourself to it.

Be Strong and Courageous!

Be strong and courageous! Courage is now a command more than it is a feeling. God is your rock and your sure foundation. He will teach you to swim in deeper waters. He will be with your mouth and teach you how to speak. You will learn to fight at a higher level. Stand assured because He is with you.

I am praying for you,
