Diagnosed with Autism, This Bible Bee Contestant's Testimony Will 'Give You Chills'

Actor Kirk Cameron is hosting the second season of "The National Bible Bee Game Show," which kicked off Tuesday night, along with co-hosts the Benham Brothers.

Seventy-two young people from around the country will come together to battle it out for a cash prize, based on how well they really know the Bible. The show combines Biblical knowledge with fun, as young contestants from ages 7 to 18 years old compete for the win.

"Since the 'National Bible Bee' started in 2009, I've been a fan and supporter," Cameron said. "'The National Bible Bee Game Show' stirs up fun, excitement and a lot of 'intended consequences' in homes worldwide."

More than 40,000 young people have taken part in the contest since it aired for the first time in 2009. Each one of those contestants has a unique personal story to tell.

One remarkable contestant from this year's Bible Bee is a young man who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 4, partly because he couldn't speak.

But then God did something amazing, and Christian Cinema reports, "his story will give you chills!" Watch it right here:

Emeal Zwayne, national spokesperson for the Bible Bee, hopes families will learn the Bible together while watching the show.

"Twenty-five percent of Christians never read the Bible, research says. So Bible literacy is the brass ring," Zwayne said. "'The National Bible Bee Game Show' flips challenge into opportunity as whole families get into God's Word to compete together or to cheer on contestants from home."

The show will air Tuesdays at 8/7 pm Central time starting on April 4th. Families can watch it live on Facebook at ChristianCinema.tv and on the web at ChristianCinema.com.

One past winner says the game goes beyond Bible memorization, but challenges contestants to dive deep into God's word.

"It's not just memorizing Scripture," said 2015 winner Hannah Leary. "It's studying Scripture and being able to dive in deep and understand what God has to say in His Word."

Last week was another tough week across the globe. The carnage of unprecedented violence continued in the streets from Nice, France, to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Evil continues to rise.

We really need God's help today—more than ever before. The only problem is most nations reject the true God, or anything remotely associated with Him. They don't want His rule or His ways; and, as a result, the blessing of God's protection has been lifted.

Psalms 2 has a prophetic message for the nations of the earth today—especially for America:

"Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His anointed, saying, 'Let us tear off their bonds and cast away their ropes from us." ... Now then, you kings, be wise; be admonished, you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear; tremble with trepidation! Kiss the son, lest He become angry, and you perish in the way, for His wrath kindles in a flash. Blessed are all who seek refuge in Him" (Ps. 2:1-3, 10-12).

Take heed, China. You fight against God by removing crosses from your land and imprisoning pastors who stand against your tyrannical regime. Pay attention to the increase of Christianity in your land and allow it to flourish. You will be blessed if you do!

Take heed, Russia. You stand in the way of God's blessing and the freedom He brings by forcing Christians to get permission from the state to share the faith. Don't stiffen your neck like the communists of old and rage against God-given individual freedom—you're only fighting against the Lord!

Take heed, Iran. You invite God's anger by seeking to destroy Israel and murdering innocent people through your state-sponsored terror machine. You're simply another glove covering the fist of Satan— from Haman to Hitler to Hamas. Kiss the Son (Jesus), lest Haman's fate be yours as well.

Take heed, all of Europe. You invite violence by prostrating yourselves before Islam and minimizing Christian influence in the culture. Your political correctness has emboldened radical jihadists to continue their bloodthirsty holy rage against what they perceive to be Christianity (Western civilization and individual freedom). To them, your freedom is a great Satan. Turn to the only God who can save you in your greatest time of need.

And take heed, America! Our nation has asked God to leave—throwing Him out of our schools, media and government—and now we spit in His face, slaughtering our unborn, redefining marriage and prosecuting the faithful. We're calling evil good and good evil, while Christians, who know the truth that sets people free, sit out for fear of being ridiculed or falsely accused.

The world needs to pay attention to God's word as it speaks plainly to the issues of our day. It's time to stop conspiring against Him and start crying out to Him! God is the only cure to the violence filling the earth.

Centuries ago, the Lord spoke to Israel through the prophet Amos, and His message sums it up for the nations of the earth today:

"Seek good and not evil, so that you may live; then the Lord, the God of Hosts, will truly be with you, as you claim. Hate evil and love good, and establish justice at the gate. It may then be that the Lord God of Hosts will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph" (Amos 5:14-15).

Benham Brothers Predict an End to This Murderous Atrocity in North Carolina

No matter how spiritually dark it may get in today's culture, just remember—you can be a voice. You can make a difference. All you have to do is just shine the light.

When you go to bed at night, do you turn the darkness on, or turn the lights off?

When you open a closet door, does the darkness from the closet fill the room, or the light from the room fill the closet?

You get the point: Light is greater than darkness. And the only way darkness prevails is when the light is turned off. As our good friend, Dr. Michael Brown, says, "The problem today is not the presence of darkness. It's the absence of light."

So when you step up to be a voice for truth and start shining God's light, you will make a difference, because light always overcomes the darkness.

We're watching this happen in our home state of North Carolina—and we're not talking about the controversy surrounding HB2 and the pushback against radical bathroom bills. We're talking about the light of God's love shining at three local abortion clinics in our hometown of Charlotte.

Hundreds of Christians from various denominations have joined hands under the banner of Cities4Life to help bring healing to abortion-bound mothers who feel they have no other choice—and the results are unprecedented.

Since Cities4Life began in 2010, we've seen more than 3,300 mothers choose life for their unborn babies! And the follow-up ministry from organizations like Truth & Mercy Ministries (baby showers), Monroe HELP Center (pregnancy care), Option Adoption (adoption facilitation) and others has been incredible.

The outpouring of Christian love for these mothers and sweet unity among believers has shined God's light so brightly in our state that even the Washington Times has taken note. Check out the Times' headline after the North Carolina Department of Health released our state's abortion statistics: "NC's drop in abortions is among nation's sharpest since 2010."

When Christians in our city decided to shine the light of God's love into the darkest places—our three abortion clinics—the light of God overcame the darkness of death by over 26 percent! There's no denying it—we're winning.

Because light is stronger than darkness, all we have to do is flip it on.

Our good friend and young entrepreneur Justin Reeder, is a great example of this. He started a campaign called Love Life Charlotte this year, through which he mobilizes churches across denominational lines to adopt a week for life in our city. It begins with the pastor preaching about life on Sunday. Then he asks the congregation to pray and fast on Wednesday, and finally, he gathers the church for a prayer walk at the clinic on Saturday. And the churches are pouring out support.

We feel it's just a matter of time before abortion will end in our city because mamas who feel they have no other choice will have so many churches from which to choose, and those churches are ready to help those mamas and their families, whatever the cost. When Christians shine the light, darkness has to flee.

No matter how dark it seems today, it's time we stand up and shine God's light. We can be a voice, we can make a difference, we can save lives, and we can be involved.

It was a joy to attend "A Night To Ignite Vision", hosted by the staff of Dr. Michael Brown (AskDrBrown) on Jan. 28, 2016 in Charlotte, NC. 

After a special pre-dinner and book signing hour time with Dr. Brown, many more gathered from 6:30 pm - 9 pm in the Hilton event room.

The Behman brothers, Jason and David; a spokesman for Salem Broadcasting, which carries Dr. Brown's radio program across the nation; and then Dr. Brown himself all shared the vision of the outreach. The outreach has impressively exploded in effectiveness and numbers listening and responding to the radio program, In the Line of Fire,  seeing the social media posts, and reading his published books and articles, especially in these past three years specifically.
