I HAD A DREAM AND HEARD THE LORD SAY “I AM ABOUT TO DEAL WITH AND BREAK THE SPIRIT OF RELIGION” by Lana Vawser Ministries I had a dream recently and I heard the Lord saying over and over “I am about to deal with and break the spirit of religion.” God is going to deal with the religious spirit in this new era in ways we have never seen. I still remember the day many years ago when the Lord whispered to me “A mighty move of My Spirit is coming and if you do not have eyes to see and ears to hear and live close to My heart you will be greatly offended by the move of My Spirit” Immediately I was taken back to story after story in the Gospels where there Pharisees were so offended by Jesus and by His acts. The pride that was carried by the Pharisees when Jesus walked the earth is the same pride that God is dealing with in the Church right now and it has only just begun. The Lord is cleaning house. His love is so ferocious and so deep for the world and for His Bride, that He is bringing a deep purification to His Church. My friend Anita Alexander had an encounter with the Lord where she heard the Lord say “I love the world enough to deal with My house” and that’s exactly where we are now. The WAY that the Lord is going to move is going to shake the religious mindsets and expose the spirit of religion in the Church in a way we have never seen. The Lord’s heart in shaking up His house in such intense ways in this new era is to bring forth His true ecclesia and to see His people walk in humility and purity before Him and carry His Spirit.’ ‘There is going to be great demonstrations of offense in the way the Lord is going to move, where He will move, how He will move and those areas of offense will expose the religious spirit but He is about to deal with it and break it. The dealings of the Lord to bring down this religious spirit and expose it is going to be intense and there may be mess in the shaking but the Lord is going to bring forth healing to His bride, He is going to bring forth freedom in His Bride, He is going to bring total reformation to His Church. The Lord has had me in Luke 7:36-50 so much lately, the story of the woman who anointed the feet of Jesus. There is MUCH in this story that the Lord is revealing for the era we have entered that I will be sharing over the coming months but there will be radical demonstrations of worship, a deeper level of worship than we have ever entered and encounter with the Lord and WHO the Lord will use and the WAY we see Him move in this era that will OFFEND if you do not have eyes to see and ears to hear. There is a sound of worship, adoration and “undignified” expression of love for Jesus that is going to be seen in the Church and in the harvest coming in, in this new era that if we don’t carry the heart of God and know Him well, could find the people of God criticising or standing against a move of God and that is not a place we want to be. This deep undignified worship of Jesus that doesn’t care what others think or are caged by the fear of man, will arise in the earth like never before, it will be so undignified that religious mindsets and where the religious spirit resides will find it offensive. (2 Samuel 6:14-22) This will be key in the Church moving out of Saul’s house and the David’s arising in the earth. The Church will transition into a deep place of worshipping the Lord in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)The move of God that’s coming and the fear of the Lord being restored to the Church is going to expose the religious spirit and the pride of man, and bring forth such a beautiful work of His Spirit bringing cleansing and purification for a greater positioning of Isaiah 60. There’s such a deep invitation into His heart right now, deeper than ever to hear His heartbeat, hear His voice and see and hear as He sees. God is dealing with this spirit of religion, He is dealing with elitism, and with pride. He is thundering to His people that humility is the key. “He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you Except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion), And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]?” (Micah 6:8 – AMP) One of the ways God is going to deal with the spirit of religion is He is going to DISRUPT and INTERRUPT in this new era and He is going to move in such a powerful way, He is going to demonstrate that He is the God who cannot be controlled or contained. He is going to raise up the true ecclesia. He is going to raise up the Church in ways we have never seen. He is truly looking for those who truly love Him and follow Him. He is bringing His people into freedom. He is bringing His Church into freedom. Where the religious spirit has contained, suffocated and killed there is a dealing of the Lord upon that religious spirit. There is a great urgency of the hour as we move further into this new era that we embrace the move of God whatever it looks like, to live so close to His heart that we recognise Him and His move even if/when it looks different to what we expect and not be offended or kill a move of God because it doesn’t fit into our box. There has been a civil war in the Church and it will flare up louder than ever as God deals with this spirit of religion in this new era, but know in the ‘noise’ when it happens, that there is a mass deliverance upon the Church and the sound of freedom will resound and as the shaking and deconstruction happens, as we transition into the new thing God is doing and going to do, the true ecclesia is going to arise in unity (John 17) strength, humility, boldness and power. In the deep dealing of this religious spirit in the Church by the hand of God, the true Bride will arise in His love and power and shine in the earth like she has never shone before. "I Am Dismantling in Order to Re-mantle"

Recently I heard the Lord say, "I am dismantling in order to re-mantle." Many in the Body of Christ have experienced a season of great shift and transition. For some, the dismantling of existing structures, patterns, ministries, and systems has been unnerving. But, God is using the uncertainty and change to turn hearts to Him as our "true north." It is His presence alone that we follow when all is shaking around us. We must resist the temptation to default back to what feels comfortable and choose to trust instead, following our Faithful One into this new era.
Using Discomfort to Shift Directions

God will often use our discomfort, frustration or even the pain of broken relationships to cause us to shift or move in a new or different direction. We can see this principle in the life of Elijah. Elijah had experienced the "high" of his ministry confronting the prophets of Baal on Mt. Carmel. The next thing we know he is at his lowest point, fleeing Jezebel and praying that he would die (1 Kings 19:4).

It was this intense warfare and frustration that caused Elijah to run for Horeb. Horeb was known to be a place of encounters with God and it would remain true for Elijah.

"The Lord said, 'Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by....'" (1 Kings 19:11)

It was in this place that the Lord gave him specific instructions and new direction for the future. Not only would he soon be anointing two new kings, but he was to anoint Elisha to succeed him as prophet. After receiving these clear instructions from God, Elijah found Elisha plowing with twelve yoke of oxen and placed his mantle on Elisha. The discomfort of the former season led Elijah to the place of seeking God for his next steps. God had to dismantle some things in order to re-mantle him for the next phase of his ministry. Elijah would now become a mentor for Elisha.
Making a Clean Break

Elisha's life was being dismantled to a great degree, too, as he left family and farm behind and was re-mantled by the LORD to succeed Elijah. His actions were significant as he slaughtered the oxen, burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat, and fed the people before he left. He kissed his father and mother goodbye and then no trace of his former life was left to hinder him from forward motion into the call of God on his life.

God has been highlighting this to me that our heart position needs to be that of a willingness to make a clean break with the past season instead of a "one foot in and one foot out" mentality. I feel God is saying to let go of the past in order to step fully into the new. If our fingers are still clutching the old, how can we grab hold of the new? God has a forward motion for many in this season, and a key component to laying hold of that will be leaving the past behind.

A passage that has been heralded in this season by many prophetic voices is Isaiah 43: 18-19: "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

We have been instructed to forget the former things and warned not to dwell on the past. Our ability to perceive the new will be greatly affected by our willingness to forget the former things and leave the past behind. Isaiah's words encourage us to expect the unexpected. A massive paradigm shift is taking place and a "business as usual" mindset will not position us to fully ride the wave of His glory in this hour.

I hear the Lord saying, "Enlarge the place of your tent. Stretch your tent curtains wide; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes (Isaiah 54:2). I am enlarging your container and capacity for this next season. I am increasing your impact, effectiveness, and fruitfulness. I am dismantling in order to re-mantle you for the greater things."

Over the last few weeks the Lord has been speaking things to me like, "case closed" and about the definitive deliverance of God. I have been hearing Him speak about things the enemy has used against God's people over and over again. The Lord is decreeing, "case closed." I have been hearing Him say, "legal grounds" that the enemy has found in the lives of believers are being dealt with through repentance and healing. There is a definitive deliverance and victory manifesting in the lives of believers right now, as the Lord is moving powerfully. 

In the past few days I have been hearing the Lord saying, "Here comes a good report! Expect a good report!"

God is exposing all "false reports." He is exposing lies of the enemy. He is turning "negative reports" around. There is a major shift taking place right now in the body of Christ that I began to sense around the end of Feb/early March and it is gaining momentum intensely. 

The Lord is moving in power and bringing forth good reports and favorable outcomes. These good reports and favorable outcomes are going to see the Spirit of God breathe life and refreshing back into many.

"Eyes that focus on what is beautiful bring joy to the heart, and hearing a good report refreshes and strengthens the inner being." Proverbs 15:30 (The Passion Translation)

I heard His whisper, "Things will not be as they have been."

Things are shifting. 

Things are changing and God is releasing His favor upon many.

I feel the encouragement of the Lord to expect a good report. Expect to receive good news. Any fear or foreboding about circumstances or the future is the enemy attempting to hinder, cripple, steal, kill and destroy, where the Lord is moving powerfully and there will be many testimonies of receiving good news and good reports!!!!

Welcome to Health Good Reports

In this new era there are going to be unprecedented demonstrations of God's power to bring healing to bodies in ways we have never seen before. There are going to be major demonstrations of the Lord's power in such rapid increase that will restore health to physical bodies and emotional/mental health. This is the season where many long-standing health issues and negative reports will lose their hold.

I prophesy good reports over your physical bodies in Jesus name. Any bad reports will be turned around by the hand of God, by the mighty healing power of God any negative reports will be turned to good reports and many of them in a suddenly, testifying to the healing power of Jesus Christ.

Where people have spoken against you, now there shall be an increase of favor.

The Lord spoke to me that where there have been negative, unjust, unfounded, negative reports spoken by others over people that the justice of the Lord is going to continue to manifest in significant ways. Where these negative reports and negative words have been spoken, the Lord showed me there shall be an increase of favor upon the ones spoken against as they have prayed for those who have cursed them (Luke 6:28) and continued to walk in love. 

The Lord showed me that many of these negative words and negative "reports" spoken over many have been done in "secret" but the Lord is going to vindicate the ones being spoken about publicly. 

Activate your faith friends! God is for you (Romans 8:31). Victory manifesting is all around you. 

Here come the good reports in Jesus name!

"I Heard the Lord Say, 'Australia, You Are on RED ALERT!'"

This week I heard the words "Australia, you are on red alert!" When I looked up the meaning of the words "red alert" this is what I found: "the final stage of alert in which enemy attack appears imminent; broadly: a state of alert brought on by impending danger."

I heard the Lord say: "My people in Australia, the nation is on red alert. I am decreeing a state of emergency from the heavenlies. The enemy is coming to steal the baby. The enemy is coming to steal the birthing. The enemy is coming to steal the hundredfold blessing. I am sounding the trumpet. I am sounding the alarm. The enemy seeks to come to steal, to kill, to destroy and to terrify, but I am sounding the trumpet. I am sounding the trumpet and I am decreeing the sound of TRAVAIL.

"Now, now, now is the time to travail! NOW is the time to invite My Spirit of travail to come and to travail through you to LIFT THE VEIL of deception over the nation. Many have been afraid to travail. Many have been under a heaviness. Many have been under a slumber, but I am sounding the alarm!

"It's time to pray, it's time to PRAY! It's time to pray like you have never prayed before. It's time to partner with Me to see My mighty hand come down and to break stubborn resistance in the nation. There is a spirit of death that is operating in the nation to steal the birthing I am going to release. I am calling forth the intercessors to arise! arise! arise! Arise in this final hour and shut down the plans of the enemy.

"The intimidation that has come against many of the intercessors in the nation over the last few months, and especially this week, is an ATTACK. Trust in My protection. Trust in My hand over your life. The threats of death are smokescreens to stop you from praying, to stop you from speaking, to muzzle you. For the enemy is coming to steal the hundredfold blessing, but I am decreeing a victory cry as My people partner with Me to see My hand move.

"The enemy is coming to steal, but I am coming to shake. I am coming to shake the nation and all that can be shaken. There must be a shaking for the revealing of My glory to take place. There must be a shaking of the foundations not established in Me to bring forth the foundations of righteousness that I desire to establish in the nation."

From the Fire You Shall Come Forth as Pure Gold

I heard the words, "Australia, in the fire, you shall come forth as pure gold." As I leaned into the Lord regarding this word, I heard these words: "My people in Australia, do not be afraid of the fire. Do not be afraid of the fire for the fire comes to purify. The fire comes to establish and re-establish. The fire comes to refine. The fire is coming hotter than it has been, but Australia, I am decreeing that you shall come forth as pure gold. You shall come forth REFINED in the fire. You shall come forth PURIFIED in the fire. Prophets: Arise, Speak, Decree!

These words surrounded me: "My strong arm will be found in the fire. My strong arm will be found in the fire to come down and to save, to deliver and to bring down stubborn resistance. My Word shall come forth like a hammer (Jeremiah 23:29) and smash down the stubborn resistance.

"I call you forth, prophets. Come out from under intimidation. Come out of your hiding and speak. Come out of your hiding and decree. There has been a battle over many of you to keep silent, but I am summoning you and calling you forth. Come out and step forth and decree that the HUNDRED FOLD BLESSING of My hand will NOT be stolen from the nation. The inheritance of the nation of Australia, that I have decreed, will not be stolen. Decree over the nation that DELAY WILL NOT be found in the nation.

"Prophets and intercessors, ARISE! Arise and call the nation into her inheritance. Call her forth. Continue to stamp on the hard ground. Continue to strike the ground until you see the hard ground burst forth and the well spring forth. Decree forth: 'SPRING UP, OH WELL!'

"The enemy is working and planning to come and steal the birthright of Australia, and it is time to war. In these midnight hours it is time to wage war against the enemy. For the enemy seeks to come with a 'final blow' and I am decreeing 'red alert.'

"Prophets, stand up and SPEAK! Do not change what I am speaking. Do not be afraid to speak what I am speaking. Do not water down the words I am giving. Speak the words of truth, speak the words of life, speak the words of alignment with love and boldness. I am raising up prophets in the nation of Australia with swords in their mouths. The sword of the Word will bring forth such an alignment, such a purification and such a strengthening to the Body of Christ in Australia.

"Prophets in Australia, beware to not be 'ear ticklers' but stand forth and speak with purity and integrity that which I am speaking. Allow repentance to rise within you and then receive even greater revelation of My heart for what I am releasing into the nation of Australia. For I am not speaking words of death into the nation, I am speaking words of life.

"Do NOT be afraid of releasing words that correct or words that exhort, for the correction that I am bringing into the Body of Christ in Australia is being brought with love, it is being brought with truth, and it is being brought with encouragement to PREPARE My people for the greatest move of the Spirit of God upon the nation. Stay TRUE, prophets of God, to that which I am speaking. Speak life!

"I am calling you forth, My people, STAND UP! Stand up for righteousness. Stand up and call forth the tidal wave of My righteousness and My presence to flood the nation. For the enemy is setting up dam walls to stop the flow of My Spirit and the flooding of My righteousness.

"It's time to take back the land, My people, for the scales have been weighed and the Body of Christ in Australia has been found wanting. It's time to repent. It's time to step out of complacency. It is time to step out of mixture. It's time to repent and humble yourselves and cry out for the healing of the land like never before (2 Chronicles 7:14). The heartbeat within the nation of Australia is crying out for revival. The heartbeat of the nation MUST be revived, and I am looking for a people who are standing NOW, without mixture or agenda, and crying out for the move of My Spirit on My terms, in My way and My timing.

A Repentance Among Many Leaders

"Leaders, I am holding many of you accountable. Speak My Words without hesitation. Speak the words that are flowing from My heart and from My Word without mixture and without watering them down. Speak forth righteousness. Speak forth the truth of My Word. Speak forth the truth of My heart and do not allow 'fear of man' to silence you and water down the messages that I am wanting you to release. Repent of idle speech. Repent of words of death over the nation. Repent of words of accusation and words of flattery.

"It's time to allow the coal from My throne to fall upon your lips and bring a purification, for My desire is for you to partner with Me to usher in the greatest move of My Spirit that has ever been seen in the Great Southland of the Holy Spirit. My desire is for you to flow with Me in My agenda, My time and My way to see My glory lifted high. There must be a turning, there must be a repentance. I am a good God, I am a good Father and I correct out of My love and bring forth life, increase and the demonstration of My power and glory." (Photo via Unsplash)

A New Sound to Usher in the King of Glory

As I continued to sit with the Lord, I heard the words: "Worship! Worship! Worship! It is time to worship LOUDLY! Worship above the noise, worship above the confusion, for worship will fling open the gates of the nation to usher Me in as the King of Glory."

"So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you ageless doors of destiny! Welcome the King of Glory, for He is about to come through you. You ask, 'Who is this Glory-King?' The Lord, armed and ready for battle, the Mighty One, invincible in every way! So wake up, you living gateways, and rejoice! Fling wide, you ageless doors of destiny! Here He comes; the King of Glory is ready to come in." (Psalm 24:7-9 TPT)

The Lord says, "What I am going to do in the nation of Australia will bring the nation to a standstill. It will bring a holy awe, a wonder, the reverence of who I am in the nation. I am coming in a way that's unexpected. I am coming in a way that will surprise and to some it will offend, but I am coming in POWER. I am coming to position Australia as the key to unlock many other nations.

"I will release a new sound out of Australia to the nations of the world, the sound of My heart and the sound of revival. Right now the enemy is attempting to muzzle the sound. The enemy is attempting to hinder that sound, but as My people rise up and worship Me above all else, there will be a mighty move of My Spirit that will break down all the walls the enemy is building to keep Me out. There will be a sound released in and through the nation of Australia that resounds loudly: 'WHO CAN STOP THE LORD ALMIGHTY?'

Stand, Strike and Strike Again!

"My people, no matter what you see in the natural, no matter what you see with your physical eyes, STAND! STRIKE and STRIKE again! Stand, strike and strike again! "Ask, Seek and Knock - Keys That Unlock Faith"

When we are waiting to see our promises fulfilled it can be easy to become discouraged or lose heart in the waiting. Sometimes it feels like sitting in a theater, waiting for the curtain to open, and we wait, and wait, and wait some more. The curtain has seemed slow to open for many in this season, but rest assured God is moving and working behind the scenes to prepare us and our promises for a Grand Opening that will surely come.

Cutting to the Heart of the Matter

But, it can be easy to feel as if God has somehow forgotten His promises to us when we have not seen the manifestation of what we have been promised. This is exactly the situation that Jacob's tribe and the nation of Israel found themselves in, in Isaiah 40:27-28:
"Why do you complain, Jacob? Why do you say Israel, 'My way is hidden from the LORD; my cause is disregarded by my God'? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom."

I love how God is able to cut right to the heart of the matter when He zeroed in on the two lies they were believing. Because they had grown weary in waiting, they believed their way was hidden from the Lord, and their cause disregarded by Him.

The Passion Translation puts it like this, "Yahweh isn't paying attention to my situation. He has lost all interest in what happens to me" (Isaiah 40:27).

Friends, if you find yourselves resonating with these words then take heart, for the same keys that God shared with Israel will be equally as relevant for you today as they were for them then. In fact, God released these two keys for unlocking faith in two simple questions, "Do you not know?" and "Have you not heard?" Let's look at the significance of each of these keys and how they function to keep our faith strong while we wait for our promises to be fulfilled:

Do You Not Know?

In this question, the Lord is challenging us to focus on what we KNOW to be true. This is where we can review and recount His faithfulness in our lives and His Word, causing our own faith to begin to rise up again as we remember and recall who He is. Not too long ago, the Lord gave me a phrase, "Remember, and you will stoke the embers." It is in the remembering of what we KNOW that the coals in our faith furnace continue to burn red hot. Faith moves Heaven!

Have You Not Heard?

We need to regularly take account of what we have heard God say. Romans 10:17 tells us "...[F]aith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." Our faith rests in what we have heard God say. Our faith cannot rest in what we wish He was saying or even in what He has said to someone else. We need to have our own faith journey where we hear God for ourselves. We are told in Matthew 4:4, "...Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." His words to us are Spirit and they are life (from John 6:63)!

When I have become discouraged in waiting to see my prayers answered or my promises fulfilled, God has brought me back to these two questions over and over. Each time I have been encouraged to believe Him while I wait.

As we wait and watch for the move of God and fulfillment of our promises, I am hearing that it is not to be a passive waiting. Like Habakkuk when he stationed himself on the ramparts, he said, "I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what He will say to me..." (Habakkuk 2:1). Like Habakkuk, our waiting needs to be full of anticipation and expectancy. It is hard to sit down when you are excitedly expectant. Habakkuk stood at his watch, and you can feel his expectancy through the stance he took.

Another glimpse at active waiting can be found in Jesus' own words in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask and it will be give to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."

Ask, Seek and Knock

I use to read this Scripture as three different ways to say the same thing. But, a closer look reveals a building progression for "active" waiting as we wait for the answers to our prayers.

First, we are to ask. Sometimes we actually forget this step. A long time ago, God said to me, "Thinking about praying is not the same as praying." So we ask!

The second step is to seek. Seeking implies that we are now actively looking for the answer. As children, we used to play "Hide and Seek" a lot. It may sound too obvious, but I quickly learned that I would never find someone who was hiding without seeking. It can be the same with our prayers or promises. There is an active involvement with the Lord in aligning ourselves with Him by maintaining a "seeking" mentality or stance. We rouse our faith to look for the answers to come.

The third step is to knock. The Scripture tells us that the door will be opened to the one who knocks. As I was meditating on this Scripture, the Lord gave me a picture of ordering something through the mail (Asking). Once I have ordered something, I begin to look for it to come in the mail each day (Seeking). As I wait for the package to arrive, I would never receive it if I didn't use my key to open my mailbox (Knocking). Many times, as we partner with Heaven to see our promises fulfilled, God will give us specific "doors" to knock on. These steps can seem small and insignificant, but many times they are the "knocking" steps of obedience that will cause our doors to open.

The passion translation says, in Matthew 7:8, "For every persistent one will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he longs for. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door."

God is not wasting our waiting moments. On the contrary, He is strengthening and building our spirit to expand and grow as our faith develops during the times of waiting.

"Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen." (Hebrews 11:1 TPT)
