June 5, 2019 Greetings friends of Love For His People. I trust you are looking upward from where our Salvation comes, and not so much at the surroundings we live in daily. More and more we are hearing of the increased anti-Semitism expanding around the world. Even Angela Merkel Chancellor of Germany warned the Jews not to wear their kippas in public. Nazism all over again?! The devil hates it that the the Living God of Israel is moving forward at great speed (as it seems with our timetables) and he is fighting in this last push. But we have read the end of the Book, and victory is ours through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach. For this and much more we can always be hopeful and thankful. As I wrote in our last update, on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 (last night!), it was my great joy to share with the next generation at The Movement Centre in Fort Mill, SC (pastored by Lathan Wood) the reality of what is happening now in Israel. Having just been there three weeks ago, with "boots on the ground" is better than reading a news article from afar off. And with Love For His Peopleministry now going to the Land 2x a year to spend time with those we support monthly, having the "up close and real personal moments" enables us to see and share the truth later with you and more. My Now Think On This message, Why You Should Support Israel received more reads on our website than several in the past months. People want to know, as confusion and lies abound. We need to understand and walk in the truth, the purposes and plans of God. Please take the time to read it and be firm in your standing with the Land and His People. Now Think On This Why You Should Support Israel Steve Martin “Thus says the Lord God: "Behold, I will lift My hand in an oath to the nations, and set up My standard for the peoples; they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders;” (Isaiah 49:22, NKJV) A few Now Think On This messages ago I wrote, “Why I Go So Often To Israel”. While many read it, I am sure some considered it “not for them” and skipped it, as other things occupy their time, money and daily thoughts. As, “Good for him, but that isn’t for me” type of thinking. Were you one of them? I believe this message is for you, then, if you answered yes to the afore asked question. And for those who did read it, and thought, “Yes, I understand, but not my thing either”, then I hope you consider the following. With that said, I am primarily focusing this message to Americans, but I am sure there are a few “non-Americans” who might consider what I have to say also. For you see, it just might change your life. Seriously, it just might. While many know the biblical reasons Christians, such as us, should support Israel and the Jews, more than likely there are many more who think not or couldn’t care less. But here are the biblical reasons why we should anyway, and then more reasons why you should also consider support. While I won’t list all the Bible verses written to clearly show this, they are there for you to read and acknowledge. And for Americans specifically, there are plenty of other reasons. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass

The LORD is indeed faithful to those whom He’s called to serve Him. We can say that without any shadow of a doubt. As many of you know we collect humanitarian aid to send out to needy Jewish families making Aliyah from Russia. The amount of aid we’ve collected recently has shown us The LORD’s faithfulness towards His people Israel. 

Recently we’ve had a lot of aid arrive from Southern Ireland, people from as far away as Tralee on the south western tip of Ireland have donated second-hand clothing to bless the Jewish people. Help for Jewish families has also arrived from Kilkenny, Athlone, and Drogheda. Until now I’ve been collecting the aid in my own car. Please pray that we might obtain a van to collect larger loads.

It’s ironic that the Irish government has recently voted to boycott Israeli products from Judah and Samaria, and yet we have small pockets of Irish Christians collecting aid for the Jewish people. Please pray for us as we share about both Ezra UK’s Aliyah work, and the Aid to Israel program here in Ireland.

Bangor Worldwide Convention

From August 27-31  I’ll represent Ezra UK at the annual ‘Worldwide Convention’ in Bangor Co Down Northern Ireland. Around 70 Christian organizations will be represented at the week-long convention. The event draws thousands of Christians interested in supporting various Christian ministries. Pray that the LORD will use our team to inform Christians of the need to support the Aliyah of the Jewish people home to Israel. Pray also for good conversations with those who don’t really understand the LORD’s promises to His people Israel.

Love For His People Update - Jerusalem, Now Think On This by Steve Martin Nov. 25, 2017

Nov. 25, 2017 Greetings from Charlotte, North Carolina. All around the world as this holiday season comes upon us, many eyes will turn to the Holy Land, where Jesus (Yeshua) came to redeem man. Having been to Israel now 15 times, the more I go the more I see what the Lord is now doing in these times we live in. Above all, He is calling us to Himself, letting us know that salvation is found only in Him. In my most recent series of Now Think On This messages, I have been sharing experiences from those many times in Jerusalem - both from my own days with friends there, and others who have gone before, preparing the road to the Land for many to follow. With Jews making aliyah (returning/immigrating) back to their Promised Land, and believers coming more into realization, and acknowledgment, of the roots of their faith from their Biblical brothers and sisters, unity will come between us. In these days ahead, stop and realize that our Lord is gathering to Himself, and will come again in triumphant glory to bring His peace and love to the nations. For if the Gentiles have shared with the Jews in spiritual matters, then the Gentiles clearly have a duty to help the Jews in material matters.” (Romans 15:27-28, Complete Jewish Bible) Derek Prince (1915-2003), one of my favorite all-time Bible teachers (born in India to British parents, educated at Eaton and King’s College in England, pastored in Canada, ministered from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Hawaii and Jerusalem, and buried in the German Colony of Jerusalem) spoke often of the Gentiles’ (goyim, non-Jews) debt to Israel and the Jews. In fact, his small booklet, Our Debt To Israel, had a profound impact on my life in 1985. Truth was discovered and believed. Having studied God’s Word extensively, and thus becoming a strong supporter of the Jewish nation of Israel, while at the same time dismissing the errant teaching of Replacement Theology (the lie that the Church has replaced the promises given to the Jews, land and all), Derek preached and taught that those who have received so much from the Jews owe so much to the Jews. Knowing that foundationally all that we have, as believers in Jesus (Hebrew/Jewish name Yeshua), has come through the Jews (God’s Chosen People), as Gentiles being grafted into the olive tree (Israel), we must be strong in our commitment and support of the Jews continually and unwavering, as Derek taught. Beginning with the Patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), through the Prophets (Isaiah, Daniel, Jeremiah, Amos, and more), with the Kings (Saul, David, Solomon) and then ultimately with the lineage birth of the Messiah in Bethlehem (Bet Lehem, Israel), Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Christ) - all that we have, fully inscribed and written through the centuries in the Torah, Tanakh and complete Bible – proves historically and spiritually that salvation for the nations has come through the Jews. Even all but one of the apostles (Luke the Physician), those who received God's Word through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and wrote the complete New Testament, were Jews.  Read more: Full message Our world needs saving. The nations are in much turmoil, rage, anger, and lawlessness. Just keep watching the news and it is obvious that times are changing, and it is not changing for the good. It is happening just as the prophets spoke; just as Jesus (Yeshua) Himself said in Matthew 24 and Luke 21 as to how it would come about. The signs are all around us, forth-telling those exact events which would take place before the Lamb of God returns as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ, is the Messiah of Jews and Gentiles, for all who call upon His name for salvation. All indications are that He is coming back soon. While time is yet with us, and there is light among the growing darkness, we must work with His Holy Spirit to spread the Good News. This is the news of His salvation, which is available to any and all who come to Him, for freedom from sin, death, destruction and all evil. This salvation is found only in His saving Blood and through His sacrifice on the cross. He is so willing and loving to give His saving grace to all who call upon His Name. He alone is our salvation.
