"It's Time to Rise and Build!"

Just recently, I had a dream in which I heard the audible voice of the Lord say,"It's time to RISE and BUILD." As soon as I woke, I had the first part of Nehemiah 3, verse 1 at the front of my mind, and sensed that not only was this my personal word for the year but a word for the whole Body of Christ also.

"Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they built the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it." Nehemiah 3:1

God is Restoring

I believe in 2016 we have entered a time that is unique for our generation and there is a favor upon us in this year to build as never before. When we look at this Scripture in Hebrew, it is exciting and I believe a picture of what God is doing. The word Eliashib in Hebrew means, "God restores!"

It is a picture of restoration back to its original condition, BUT I believe God is restoring not just back to the condition you knew your circumstances were before, BUT the condition and state that God intended them to be in eternity past! Restoration means to return back, to reverse and to answer the cry!

In Nehemiah 5, verse 11 it says, "Restore, I pray you, to them, even this day, their lands, their vineyards, their oliveyards, and their houses, also the hundredth part of the money, and of the corn, the wine, and the oil."

This is the year where total and complete restoration will be seen: a restoration where the enemy has stolen. 

Those who have had land stolen or lost, for whatever reason, God is declaring over you, "Restoration."

Vineyards and olive yards, which speaks of businesses, houses, family members away from the Lord, prodigals, churches, and where money has been stolen, lost, etc., get ready, it is being restored! (Photo via Pixabay)

The corn which speaks of your increase (from the prime root Hebrew word dagah), the wine (comes from the prime root Hebrew word yarash), which means inheritances, and poverty, and the oil...your anointing; yes, the Divine outpouring of the supernatural and creative miracles is here this year!

Get ready for a full and complete restoration of every area! Why does it say the" one hundredth" part in the above verse? The Hebrew letter one hundred means the completion of all living matter!

Gates and Doors Are Opening

It's time to align our thoughts and emotions to who we are in Him. As our identity is aligned and the words of our mouth line up, we are going to see in 2016 the creative power of God change situations, families, cities and nations!

The Scripture in Nehemiah 3 goes onto to say that they built the sheep gate. Deleth in Hebrew means to establish and rebuild the gate, and speaks of the doors and portals of Heaven, to give entrance to Heaven; and sheep in Hebrew is multitude.

Get ready! This is a year where supernatural encounters, dreams and visions are going to increase because gates, doors and portals have opened, and Heaven is going to come face-to-face with earth. As Heaven starts to invade earth through these gates we are going to see the multitudes come.

2016 is a season of soul winning and prodigals coming home, and the backslidden are coming this year. What was started in 2015 is going to increase in 2016. Some who lost people from their churches last year and felt they became small and inhibited, get ready. Start to speak the vision again, give breath to it, say it loud, declare it, and start to physically build it because this is the year of your open door of increase! 

The enemy you have been fighting is about to be defeated; lift up your voice, and rejoice in your victory!

For those who sowed last year and have not seen the increase, it's time to declare the door of blessing open. Genesis 26:12, "Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him."You are about to reap and it will be 100-fold – the completion and all that is due!

There is an acceleration coming in 2016 with gifts and callings in ministry and businesses, and many will see promotions. This year is the year to create, innovate and start building the desire that God has laid on your heart. It's time to be positioned.

As the portal and doors have opened, there will be many angelic appearances and awakenings among the children and youth. These awakenings will tear down strongholds of atheism and false religions, as the young enter into encounters that cannot be denied.

A Generation of Fearless Warriors

As I started to pray over this word, I again heard the sound of the piper (bagpipes) playing, "Scotland the Brave," and God showed me a generation of fearless warriors arising, hearts ablaze, full of passion and His love, not just in Scotland only but they are rising up all over the world.

It's time for us to stand and declare our breakthrough, the doors are opened, it's time to rise, and it's time to build! 

Job 22:28, "You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways."

Your light or owr (Hebrew), light of life, light of prosperity, light of instruction, light of face, of fire and breakthrough – it will shine (derek in Hebrew) in your character, your way, and your life!

God is Calling Back the Jonahs!

In reading this prophetic word we must not perceive things the way they are in the natural. This is important because the Body of Christ is entering a time of transition and God is about to raise up a new breed – a Jonah Generation.

Sometimes, the Western Church can look more like an institution; maintaining an appearance of having its act together when the reality is that many are backslidden in their hearts. Many others are caught up in a merry-go-round of being slaves to the system rather than being heirs of the Kingdom.

This Jonah Generation will rise from among those who once had a life-changing mandate from God – a word, a prophecy, an encounter – but who walked away from it because of the religiosity in the Church. These people have not necessarily hardened their hearts, or intentionally gone off the rails, but they (nevertheless) have walked away from their mandate and gone back to trading.

God is calling back these "Jonahs" who have walked away from their original calling and mandate and have instead gone into business. Don't misunderstand me, God will use business and finance for the Kingdom, but not if you're running from your true calling and mandate.

This is precisely what Jonah did. He had a calling to declare the word of God to Nineveh, but in fear of its great wickedness he walked away from his mandate. He fled to Tarshish, an ancient city famous for its trading in silver and gold. This Old Testament story is very much a prophetic message for today.

On his way to Tarshish, Jonah was swallowed by a big fish, perhaps a whale, although the Bible doesn't use that name. In a dream, a big fish may be a metaphor for a Believer, but it is also a metaphor for revelation.

Throw Your Net on the Right Side

The disciples had a three-year encounter with Jesus, witnessed the resurrection, and had a clear mandate to "Go into all the world," but John 21 shows us that they didn't see that as a way of life.

When Peter announced he was going back to his fishing business, some of his fellow disciples went with him. A Man on the shore called out, "Have you caught anything?" When they told Him they'd caught nothing, the Man told them to throw their nets on the right side.

Isn't it interesting that none of them recognised this Man as Jesus?

Walking away from our mandate and going back to trading makes it easy to forget the Lord and become dull and numb to the revelation of Jesus Christ. When the Lord told the disciples to let down the net on the right side, the nets were completely filled but without breaking.

The disciples said, "It's the Lord!" and Peter immediately swam for the shore to be with Him. The disciples gathered around the fire that Jesus had made to cook the fish they caught, and they had communion with Him. They ate, they had revelation, and they were restored to their heavenly positions, especially Peter.

Jonahs Will Have the Revelation of Jesus Christ

When Jonah was swallowed by the big fish it was as though he was enveloped by the revelation of the heart of the Father. Remember, the fish took Jonah to the deep heart of the ocean. This is a picture mirrored in Psalm 42:7, "Deep calls to deep." Jonah went to the deep heart of God, and following that revelation of who the eternal God is, the fish spewed Jonah onto the shore.

Whales are very sensitive to frequencies, which is why they are a metaphor for big prophetic ministries. A prophet must be sensitive. Jonah, as a prophet, was released from the whale into the natural realm as a sign and a wonder.

Jonah was spat out and released into the natural realm as one prepared to deal with the dark evil of Nineveh. But Jonah was a sign and a wonder, who walked into Nineveh, opened his mouth, and saw that whole atmosphere of darkness changed. He could do that because he was not a slave to the system anymore, but exercising spiritual dominion over it. The result was that Nineveh's leaders bowed the knee and repented.

In raising a Jonah Generation, God will restore people who have been perceived as "backslidden" because they don't attend church. This is not saying it's okay to avoid fellowship, but rather that they will come to the place of being enveloped in the revelation of Jesus Christ, the image of God.

They will have revelation of who they are and come into the intimacy that activates the Kingdom of God. They will be people who walk in signs and wonders that change the whole atmosphere of their environment. That's what being a revivalist looks like.

At the present time there's a lot of darkness covering the earth, but it's the dark before the dawn, and we need to see it with hope and excitement. This darkness is to inspire followers of Christ to rise up. For many, this will be Joel's "valley of decision" (Joel 3:14) to bring in the greatest harvest ever seen on planet Earth.

Just as the darkness of the holocaust preceded the re-birth of the nation of Israel, the darkness that is coming will be followed by the birthing of the billion soul harvest.

God is raising up a group of prophets like Jonah. Prophets who will change atmospheres and not be slaves to the world's systems. They are going to be heirs of the Kingdom, influencing leaders and nations.

We need to be encouraged and fasten our seat belts. Jesus Himself said in Luke 21:28, "When you see these things happen, lift up your head, because your redemption is near." Psalm 24 tells us to "lift up your heads you gates and allow the King of Glory to come in." The new breed of the Jonah Generation are the gates. Who will let in the King of Glory?

'Luke 9' Prophecy Reveals God's Heart for Backslidden America

Can America still be "One Nation Under God"? (CreationSwap)

Have you ever wondered what God has called the U.S.A. to be? I want to share with you the prophetic name the Lord has spoken to me about the United States of America—"The Good Samaritan Nation," and the great hope He has in His heart for the U.S.A.

Jesus' outreach and ministry to Samaria is very instructive to us...especially in light of this revelation about how our Heavenly Father views the role of the USA in His purposes as "The Good Samaritan Nation."

In Luke 9, the Samaritans, who had the serious spiritual problem of mixing the Jewish faith with false religious notions, wanted Jesus to leave their region. Jesus' disciples were terribly offended for His sake: "When His disciples James and John saw this, they said, 'Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?' But He turned and rebuked them, and said, 'You do not know what kind of spirit you are of; for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.' And they went on to another village" (Luke 9:54-56 NASB).

However, even after being initially rejected by the Samaritans, in the very next chapter, Jesus uses them as a surprising symbol of God's kindness in sharing the Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37). Later on, in the Book of Acts, the whole region of Samaria responds to Jesus.

God is calling the U.S.A. to show forth His kind and benevolent heart to other nations, and many will respond to the Lord of Reformation. God is calling us as a nation to get ready to go to these nations and reap a harvest.

God's Hopeful View of Cities and Nations

Jesus is not commissioning His followers to call fire down in angry judgment upon the U.S.A. when He has actually slated a second reformation of hope for our nation and many others places. The Lord spoke a new name to me over certain locations as well: "God as King" China, "Faithful" France, "Zealous" Zimbabwe; as well as cities such as "Caring" Kansas City, "Affectionate" Atlanta and "Beautiful Redeemed" Redding.

Remember that there was a whole village in Samaria that believed in Jesus through the testimony of the woman at the well (John 4:39-42). It was also the Samaritans that received the gospel and a great move of the Holy Spirit under the ministries of Philip, Peter and John in Acts 8:9-25.

No, our nation is not beyond the reach of God's good purposes. And, we will be surprised at some of the unlikely hope reformers that He will redeem and raise up as catalysts for this next great move of God. The U.S.A. will be known as the Good Samaritan Nation.
