"He Saddled His Donkey" ✡ Donations Matched for a New Ambulance to Save Lives - ISRAEL365

And Abraham arose early in the morning, and he saddled his donkey … and went to the place of which God had told him.

GENESIS (22:3)

Today's Israel Inspiration

We learn an invaluable life lesson from just one Hebrew word in today's verse - awoke earlyוַיַּשְׁכֵּם. Abraham was zealous to do God’s will at the first sign of daybreak, teaching that we too should grab opportunities to do good without hesitation. Fast forward 3,000 years and meet  ZAKA volunteers who follow in Abraham's footsteps. ZAKA is Israel's incredible volunteer terrorism and disaster emergency response organization. Volunteers remain on call every hour of the day ready to rush to any tragic scene to save lives. With the increase in terror, ZAKA is in dire need of 5 new ambulances to carry out their sacred mission throughout Israel. No matter where you live in the world, you can partner with ZAKA for the benefit of mankind. Help save lives, strengthen faith, and strengthen Israel.

Israeli Traffic Behind an Ambulance Gets Interesting

What happens when Israelis are stuck in traffic behind an ambulance at the scene of a tragedy? You must watch their reactions!

As Deaths in Israel Rise from Wave of Terror, Search & Rescue Ambulances Needed

Typically, ZAKA volunteers deal with an average of 30 incidents of unnatural deaths every week. But with the current wave of terror, ZAKA is being swamped with a dramatic increase of incidences throughout Israel.

Yesterday's Photo Trivia

Yesterday's photo featured the Tower of David (in Hebrew, מגדל דוד, Migdal David), an ancient citadel located near the Jaffa Gate at the entrance to the Old City of Jerusalem. Despite its name, the tower has no connection to King David, but rather dates back to the Ottoman empire.

"Israel Support for the Household of the Faith" - Ahava Love Letter (Steve Martin)

“Israel Support for the Household of Faith”

“So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.” Gal. 6:10 NASU

Dear family of friends,

Since the founding of Love For His People, Inc. was established in the spring of 2010, our main focus and effort has been to bless the people of Israel, in both practical and spiritual ways. We have been called to be ones who stand for the Lord’s purposes in His Promised Land. Our voice, spoken through written social media and public events, has daily proclaimed that.

Having been to Israel 10 times since 1988, our connections in Eretz Yisrael (the land of Israel) have been strengthened, especially with Jewish believers. Friendships have been built. Encouraging them face to face continues. With our annual Ahava Adventures fall trips to Jerusalem and the cities beyond, we can see the Lord Yeshua’s (Jesus’) will being accomplished, first hand.

Several of you have been to Israel. Many more would love to go. My prayer is that your heart’s desire, which the Lord Himself placed within yours, will come about. And when you go, I want you to meet these whom we love. So you can too.

When the nations increasingly turn their backs on the people of Israel, we proclaim that our stand for them and their families remains stronger than ever. As we push forward in proclaiming the eternal purposes of the Lord Yeshua for His Land, our strength and encouragement He gives through us grows daily. We know what His Word says. We are committed to standing on that solid ground.

Please consider sharing a portion of your regular giving also to the work of Love For His People. The monthly financial support of four families in Israel through this ministry has been ongoing these first three years of our existence. One family of six (with another on the way!) receives a $200 a month gift from this ministry. Another work there received $100 monthly to help supply lunch food for school kids in the poverty districts. We know others who could and should be blessed with yours and our support.

Love For His People does not have a paid staff. Those who do the work you have seen on the social media have secular jobs to fund what has thus far been accomplished. We ask you to be a part of sowing into this good field. It is a good work.

There are many ways you can send your contribution today. They are listed below.

Thank you. Eternity will know of your heart’s love for His people, and even today.

Ahava to my family of friends,

Steve Martin
Founder/President

India - Help for Flood Victims through Lighthouse Center India

FLOOD VICTIMS AID FOR INDIA

Pastor John Ebenezer of Lighthouse Center India

From: John Ebenezer <ebenezerwcc@yahoo.com>Sent: Tuesday, 25 June 2013 10:00 AM
Subject: Re: FLOODS

My Dear Partner Friends,

Praise the Lord, today I walked back to Dehradun and I have seen the very worst scenes which I have not seen in my life time. (Editor's note: John is over 70 years).

There are so many dead bodies which are floating in the water. No trace of many thousands of people. By the grace of GOD I have given some biscuits, bed sheets and towels, small food and water, given one bottle to each, but I could not reach all due to very small I have little money.

From my state there are 2,376 people who were on the pilgrimage and only 23 arrived. The rest all died. Still all the relatives are asking us in many ways where are they, but I have no answer. I just tell them to have peace of mind, for the love GOD will make all things for all people. The only way is Jesus Christ.

I am going to stay for a few more days so I can able to help the few people. Since I know the language, by the grace of GOD, I am able to speak with suffering people and slowly bring them to safer place. It's very heard to explain how it has happened. These people are blind  because of their worship of dead gods. I feel it's one way to know living GOD Jesus Christ.

Even today there are thousands of dead bodies floating on the waters. It takes a few weeks just to get it all cleaned. Even today they broadcast three more days of rain will come.

Please pray for us and the families who have lost their loved ones. Many people are searching for their loved ones and families too. Last night we prayed for five member group. Praise GOD they are all  saved and  received  the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. All praise to HIM only.

Tonight we also have seen one small room asking people to join with us for food and then we are going to worship the Lord after the dinner. May GOD bring many souls to night. Please join with us in prayers, by this we need any kind of support to help those who are still suffering. We need any kind of support to live. Please pray what I need my GOD will provide in time of need.

Hallelujah...Amen.

I look up to Him> He will answer of my prayers and  NEEDS. Praise HIM ....Amen.

Servant of GOD,
John Ebenezer
