3 Prophetic Ways Israel Is Fulfilling Genesis 12:3 Right Now - RON CANTOR/MESSIAH'S MANDATE

3 Prophetic Ways Israel Is Fulfilling Genesis 12:3 Right Now

It has been reported that some 500,000 Syrians have been killed in the six-year-old civil war. This has created a refugee problem numbering more than 10,000,000. Yet, it is the country on Syria's southern border—her mortal enemy, Israel—that has done more for the refugees and for those wounded in attacks, than Arab countries like Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Israel Agrees to Take 100 Syrian Orphans

According to an Amnesty International report, these countries have not taken in even one Syrian refugee. And yet, Israel is preparing to receive 100 Syrian refugee orphans. (Note: some of the nations listed dispute the Amnesty report.)
It does seem quite strange that you would take in refugees from a country that would love to see you eliminated from the face of the earth. In fact, the Los Angeles Times published an article back in 2015 entitled: "One country that won't be taking Syrian refugees: Israel."
Think again. A plan proposed by Israel's interior minister would have 100 Syrian orphans come to Israel. For three months, they would stay in dorms and then be placed with Israeli Arab families. Yes, Israel has 1.5 million Israeli Arab citizens. These are not Palestinians but Israeli, with all the freedoms that Israeli Jews enjoy.

Israel's Secret Field Hospital

Imagine this scenario. A wounded Israeli needs medical attention. He doesn't have time to get to an Israeli hospital, but there is a hospital just over the Syrian border. So, he pleads with the Syrians to let him in. Would they let him in? How would they treat him? Would they charge him for treatment?
Of course, this is a nonsensical postulation. It would never happen, but if it did, more than likely the Israeli would either be turned away, kidnapped or killed. And then, there is that adage, "Love your enemy."
Up in the Golan Heights, Israel established a field hospital to treat Syrians. As of last August, Israel had treated over 2,500 wounded Syrians at both this field hospital and in other Israeli hospitals, saving many of their lives.
In one case, the Israeli Defense Forces went into Syria, just over the border, to evacuate eight wounded Syrians. Under heavy fire, Israeli soldiers (our sons and daughters) risked their lives to save members of an enemy state. This is unheard of. But it doesn't surprise me. Despite the image that the media spreads of an imperialist, apartheid state—this is the real Israel.
The field hospital has been closed, but Israel's heart has not. The military decided that it would instead do emergency treatments in military ambulances while they are on their way to a hospital in the Galilee. The IDF Northern Command said that the closing of the field hospital was done to increase efficiency and that the field hospital can be re-opened at any time.
Of course, the Syrians, who have been taught since youth that Israel is a bloodthirsty, evil nation, were shocked to see the compassion. One surgeon said:
"They say that before the previous week, before they came, they thought we were the Great Satan, the enemies, and looked for the tails between our legs."
In the same article, a rebel fighter remarked.
Bashar [Assad] didn't take care of us. Here, in Israel, we are being taken care of. Bashar doesn't care about us, whereas Israel does. Bashar fires shells at us, he doesn't care about us at all.
Another expressed his shock:
They taught us about the Zionist enemy, the Zionist oppressor. But when we saw the Zionists, [we realized] they were nothing like what we'd been told. They're human beings just like us, human, and even more than that.
The Times of Israel wrote an excellent piece on the Israeli field hospital.

100 Tons of Secret Love from Jews

An Israeli group has collected 100 tons of supplies for Syrian refugees. Winter coats, boots, warm clothing and more will be donated for those Syrians fleeing civil war. But there is one catch. All clothing tags with Hebrew or any other reference to Israel had to be removed. In addition, the goods will be delivered via a third party so the recipient will never know that it was their mortal enemy, Israel, that is helping them in their most difficult moment.
"I thought people would be reluctant to support an effort they would not get credit for," Gilad Perry, Dror Israel's international collaborations director, said in a statement. "I was amazed to see how wrong I was. The generosity of people just caring for those who suffer from the cold winter on the other side of the border, in an 'enemy country,' overwhelmed me."
Whenever Israel does something like this, there are those who scoff, saying, "You are just doing this for the PR." And yet, here there is no PR. I want those Syrian refugees who have been breastfed lies about the character of Israelis since birth to know the truth about us. But even as they are wearing Israeli jackets and Israeli boots, they will still assume we hate them.
'In You, All Families of the Earth Will Be Blessed'
God said to Abraham that His seed would be a blessing to the world (Gen. 12:3). This has come true—even towards our enemies. While the donors were happy to give anonymously, I want the world to see what a great country we live in. So I don't apologize for asking you to be sure to share this information with your friends.

Israel Provides Life-Changing Surgery to Deaf Palestinian Children - Israel Today

Israel Provides Life-Changing Surgery to Deaf Palestinian Children

Tuesday, February 21, 2017 |  Israel Today Staff
You won’t hear about this in the international mainstream media that is determined to paint Israel as hostile toward all Arabs.
But this month Israel provided, free of charge, life-changing surgery to 16 Palestinian children who were born deaf.
The children came from Judea and Samaria (the so-called “West Bank”), as well as from Hamas-ruled Gaza.
They were each fitted with a special cochlear implant allowing them to “hear” sounds in their surroundings, and underwent special therapy to help them get used to the drastic change in their lives.
The procedures took place at Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. The outreach was done in cooperation with the Peres Center for Peace, with special authorization from the Israeli government.
And it is yet further evidence that Israel is fulfilling Jesus’ command to “love your enemies” even as it is forced to fight for its life.

Book description: "As he prepares to deliver the State of the Union address, the president of the United States is convinced the Islamic State is on the run, about to be crushed by American forces once and for all. But New York Times foreign correspondent J. B. Collins tells the president he’s dead wrong. With the Middle East on fire, the Israeli prime minister dead, and Amman in ruins, Collins fears a catastrophic attack inside the American homeland is imminent. He argues that only an all-out manhunt to capture or kill Abu Kahlif—the leader of ISIS—can stop the attack and save American lives. But will the president listen and take decisive action before it’s too late?"

"Haley’s Comet" | Editorial of The New York Sun on Nikki Haley, US Ambassador to the UN

Nikki Haley, US Ambassador to the UN
"Haley’s Comet" | Editorial of The New York Sun | February 16, 2017 | on Nikki Haley
A star is born is our reaction to the first press briefing by President Trump’s new ambassador at the United Nations. The ex-governor of South Carolina was ridiculed by the Left when the president first sent her nomination up to the Hill, owing to her alleged lack of foreign policy chops. She certainly rang the wake up gong for that crowd this morning, after emerging from her first Security Council monthly meeting devoted to the Middle East. Tough as nails but with a smile and a layer of Southern charm.
The ambassador had just come from the regular monthly Security Council on Middle East issues. She said it was her first such meeting, and “it was a bit strange.” The Security Council, she said, is supposed to discuss how to maintain international peace and security. But the meeting, she said, was not about Hezbollah’s illegal buildup of rockets in Lebanon, it was not about the money and weapons Iran provides to terrorists, it was not how we defeat ISIS, it was not how we hold Beshar al-Assad accountable for the slaughter of thousands of civilians.
“No,” she said, “instead the meeting focused on criticizing Israel, the one true democracy in the Middle East. I am new around here, but I understand that’s how the Council has operated month after month for decades. I am here to say the United States will not turn a blind eye to this anymore. I am here to underscore to the ironclad support of the United States for Israel. I am here to emphasize that the United States is determined to stand up to the U.N.’s anti-Israel bias.”
The ambassador made clear that the Trump administration will not support the kind of resolution from which the Obama administration’s ambassador — Samantha Power — shamefully abstained, though Mrs. Haley was too polite to name the humiliated Ms. Power. “The outrageously biased resolutions from the Security Council and the General Assembly only make peace harder to attain by discouraging one of the parties from going to the negotiating table.”
“Incredibly,” Mrs. Haley said, “the U.N. department of political affairs has an entire division devoted entirely to Palestinian affairs. Imagine that. There is no division devoted to illegal missile launches form North Korea. There is no division devoted to the world’s number one state sponsor of terror, Iran. The prejudiced approach to Israeli-Palestinian issues does the peace process no favors, and it bears no relationship to the reality of the world around us. The double standards are breathtaking.”
The ambassador warned that it is “the U.N.’s anti-Israel bias that is long overdue for change,” and said America will not hesitate to speak out in defense of its friend in Israel. All this was going on while the press was questioning President Trump on what he was going to do about anti-Semitism. If his ambassador to the world body is any example, the answer is plenty. She has the principles of a Daniel Patrick Moynihan, the grit of a John Bolton, and the star power of a Jeane Kirkpatrick, and in her first press briefing she certainly made her point.

Franklin Graham: Fake News Was in the Bible - JESSILYN JUSTICE CHARISMA NEWS

Franklin Graham: Fake News Was in the Bible

JESSILYN JUSTICE  CHARISMA NEWS
Fake news isn't a new concept coined by President Donald Trump's administration in reference to the media lies that plague him.
Rather, the idea can be traced all the way back to the days of Jesus, evangelist Franklin Graham says.
Fake news is nothing new—it was going on in the Bible. When Jesus died on the cross for our sins and was placed in the tomb, He said He would rise in three days. The Pharisees had guards assigned to watch the tomb, and on the third day an angel from heaven came and rolled the stone away. The Lord Jesus walked out of that tomb. The guards reported this to the religious leaders who instructed them that if anyone asked, they were to say that Jesus' supporters had come and taken the body. It was fake news to serve their own agenda.
Lies and untruths like we have been seeing can be a threat to our democracy. I would encourage the media to do what the Bible tells us, "You shall not circulate a false report" (Ex. 23:1, NKJV), and be truthful—you can never go wrong with that. When I was a little boy my mother told me to "tell the truth, even if it hurts."
Trump recently accused the mainstream media, including the New York Times, NBC, ABC and CNN, of being fake news outlets.
"The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!" the president tweeted

Marco Rubio destroys Anti-Israel hecklers, politicians at Friedman hearing… Israel Video Network

“When David Friedman’s (Trump’s ambassador to Israel) confirmation hearing took place the other day, a gaggle of anti-Israel hecklers gathered to… well, heckle. And be unemployed. Most of the whinage came courtesy of an organization called J-Street. Rubio wasted no time in ripping them to shreds…” – Team Crowder
J-Street has been known for embracing murderers of Jews, and being blatantly anti-Israel.

David Friedman will restore the proper concept of right and wrong when discussing the Arab-Israel conflict.
Marco Rubio makes it patently clear why David Friedman, the incoming Ambassador to Israel, is the right person who will be confronting the anti-Israel State Department norms.

If He Had Not… - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

If He Had Not…

Now Think On This
Steve Martin

“The steps of a man are established by the Lord, and He delights in his way.” (Psalm 37:23, NASU)

One of my recent Now Think On This messages was entitled The What Ifs. It has been one of my most read and shared ones. It is because we often find ourselves thinking about the “what ifs” in life, don’t we? But then, on the other hand, how often do we consider the “if He had nots” that I believe are just as important, if not more so.

As you look back on the road you have taken in life thus far, where would you be if the Lord Himself had not intervened in your life? What would have happened if His Almighty hand had not guided you to take that one specific step, or prevent you from taking one that would have had serious consequences?

During my first and only year of college (no degree here), I had become engaged to a sophomore who wanted to be an English teacher in Iowa. I wanted to be a missionary in Africa. As you guessed, the engagement did not last long. She wasn’t going the way I felt led to go. But two years later, I met the one who would be my life mate, and take the road the Lord had planned for the two of us, and yes, the kids and grandkids that followed. If He had not intervened…

I think back on that decision He led us to make when I left a well-paying, next rung-on-the-ladder VP job in Michigan in 1987. Moving our family then to the southern end of Florida, accepting a financial position with an international Christian ministry, was not the typical way to go for a 33 year-old with wife and four kids. Following that path had me help lead three ministries over the next 24 years with the administration and financial skills He has gifted me with. If He had not directed…

Where would you be today if you had married that one whom you knew deep down was not His choice? What would have happened if He had not sent you the wisdom of another, to give you scriptural advice in your decision?

If He had not closed that door to the one job you thought you desperately needed, because He knew you were to be at another, to bring His light into a dark place? Where would you be now?

If the Lord had not enabled you to escape that addiction gripping your life, whether it be drugs, alcohol, pornography, anger? What sorry state would you still be in?

If Jesus had not saved you from hell, your eternal life would end up there.

There are many situations that the Lord has not only protected us from, but even more so are the several times He has led us down the path of the narrow one. Those paths we have taken, knowingly and unknowingly.

For all those times when He intervened, He is worthy of our thankfulness and eternal love.

What Do We Already Know About the Syrian Refugees? - CHRISTIAN FREEDOM INTERNATIONAL

Immigration Protesters

What Do We Already Know About the Syrian Refugees?

What do we know about the religious and political beliefs of refugees and asylum seekers who have entered the United States these past eight years?
The U.S. takes more than twice as many refugees as all countries from the rest of the industrialized world combined. But for leftist activists, the number of refugees entering the U.S. is never enough and our borders should be open for all.
However, these same activists seem to only care about the resettlement of Muslim refugees and rarely, if ever, speak out for persecuted minority Christian refugees. Why?
The previous administration admitted more Muslim refugees to the U.S. than any time in our history. A closer examination of this reveals startling evidence that the motivation to resettle Muslim refugees is not based on humanitarian concern. Rather, the reasons may be political.
According to a report by Pew Research (July 22, 2016), when it comes to political and social views, Muslims are far more likely to identify with or lean toward the Democratic Party (70 percent) than the Republican Party (11 percent) and to say they prefer a bigger government providing more services (68 percent) over a smaller government providing fewer services (21 percent).
In other words, Muslim refugees, when they become eligible to vote, overwhelmingly support the Democratic Party and remain on public assistance. Christians, on the other hand, are more likely to vote with the Republican Party and become self-sufficient. Tragically, this could be one of the major reasons persecuted minority Christians were basically ignored these past eight years.
Refugee resettlement should be based on persecution and threat of death, not on politics.
"There is strong evidence that many Muslims hold views that clash with Western norms," says CFI President Jim Jacobson.
  • In the United Kingdom police recorded more than 11,000 "honor" crimes between 2010 and 2014. A British think tank counted 18 honor killings in that country from 2010 to 2014.
  • A 2013 survey sponsored by Pew Research Center found that 99 percent of Muslims in Afghanistan and 91 percent of Iraqi Muslims favored making Sharia law the official law of their countries.
  • A 2011 Pew survey found that 40 percent of Pakistani Muslims believed it is often or sometimes justified to kill a woman engaged in premarital sex or adultery in order to protect the family's honor.
Of the 10,000 Syrian refugees admitted to the U.S. over the past 12 months, less than .5 percent were persecuted minority Christians.
Christians Freedom International supports President Trump's executive order on immigration and is calling for the privatization of the refugee resettlement program. Christian Freedom International is an interdenominational human rights organization for religious liberty, helping persecuted Christians and their communities world-wide, including emergency and disaster relief, Bible distribution, medical assistance, food, water, clothing, tools, schools, habitat improvement, aid to the disabled, education, pastor and child sponsorship, advocacy, refugee & asylum case-work, vocational training, resettlement assistance and self-help initiatives.
Christian Freedom International has assisted in the resettlement of Karen Christian refugees from Burma and assisted Christian asylum seekers from around the world. CFI operates a housing facility to assist persecuted Christian refugees' transition to self-sufficiency.

IDF Expects Major Increase in Number of Female Combat Soldiers - Israel Today

IDF Expects Major Increase in Number of Female Combat Soldiers

Monday, February 20, 2017 |  Israel Today Staff
The Israeli army is expecting so many more young women to volunteer for combat duty that it is set to inaugurate a fourth mixed-gender combat battalion next month.
Nearly 1,200 young Israeli women are expected to volunteer for combat duty this year, with most serving in combat-intelligence units, a smaller number going to the artillery corps and a handful opting for infantry.
The IDF already fields three mixed-gender combat battalions - Caracal, Bardalas and the Lions of Jordan - all of which are tasked with guarding Israel’s borders with Egypt and Jordan.
The fourth mixed-gender battalion is as yet unnamed, but will be deployed to the Jordan Valley.
