MOSES: THE DAYS OF 10 PLAGUES
Chorus: Moses at the red sea, like "who's gonna follow me?" Phoarah's in the tide, we gonna ride, to our destiny, In back of me, so sad to see, them bodies in the red sea chariots get buried, b-b-buried in the red sea Pharaoh sat and laughed when a staff became a snake, too long we've been your slaves, just let us go and pray, said "don't make this mistake," no pardon his heart was hardened, so started what we regard as: the days of 10 plagues...

one: blood in the river gonna shiver, gonna freak out
lips take a sip now there's blood in your mouth

Two: frogs in your house on your beds on your plate
don't matter what's for dinner better like frog legs

Three: knats buzz buzz watch the dust turn to bugs
itch itch hard to think with all the lice in your mugs

Four: beasts roam your streets when you step outside
there's a tiger on your tail nowhere to hide

Five: death of your livestock, flesh dries up
b-b-bodies in your barn pharoah when you gonna wise up?

CHORUS

Six: boils on your flesh no less than torture
careful of the ash in the air it'll scorch ya

Seven: hail rains down beats your brains down
like a message from the heavens better lay our chains down

Eight: locusts from the coast you can hear their wing click
eating crops eating trees til they're used as toothpicks

Nine: darkness, dispatch, 3 days pitch
remember when this started and you thought it was just witchcraft

Death of the first born how did it come to this
ten is what it took so we all would remember this

IDF Chief: Israel Must Retake Gaza if it Wants Quiet - ISRAEL TODAY

IDF Chief: Israel Must Retake Gaza if it Wants Quiet

Monday, March 24, 2014 |  Israel Today Staff
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff Gen. Benny Gantz last week said that if Israel wants a return to quieter days in its southern regions, it will eventually have to reconquer the Gaza Strip.
On Wednesday, Gantz gave a presentation at a high school in the town of Gan Yavne, situated situated adjacent to the southern port city of Ashdod, a regular target of terrorist missile crews operating out of Gaza.
Students asked Gantz if it would ever be possible to put a full stop to the rocket fire that has effectively placed some one million Israelis under a kind of long-range siege.
Gantz responded: “If we want to make sure that nothing will come from there, we need to retake Gaza.”
The general said Israel had made the strategic decision to “sleep on it,” but indicated that reconquering the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave is a very real possibility.
Several high ranking Israeli officials, including Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, were calling for just such action last week, days after Gaza-based terrorists pounded southern Israel with over 50 missiles and mortar shells.
At a rally in Gaza City on Sunday, Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh (pictured) said any Israeli military move would be a major mistake.
“We tell the enemy…who is threatening to reoccupy Gaza that the time for your threats is over,” Haniyeh declared. “Any aggression or crime or stupidity you commit will cost you a very high price.”
On Saturday, hundreds of Israelis, including many journalists, received threatening cellphone text messages and emails from Hamas. The messages promised continued rocket attacks and kidnapping attempts against Israel, and vowed that the next Gaza war would result in Israel’s demise.
One email message received by staff at Israel National News spoke of revenge for the 2004 elimination of Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin by the IDF. It read:
“Ten years ago, Ismail Ahmed Yassin, our leader, was killed by three missiles as he left a mosque after morning prayers. This is a reminder that we do not forget our Sheikh’s blood on your hands. We vow once again that we will take revenge, and cut off the heads of your commanders. Missiles killed our Sheikh and now, our missiles will hit every place in the State of Israel. Know that the next war will see the end of your country.”

Hamas: We Must Slaughter the Jews - ISRAEL TODAY

Hamas: We Must Slaughter the Jews

Tuesday, March 25, 2014 |  Israel Today Staff
A Hamas member of the Palestinian parliament said in a recent televised address that Palestinian Muslims must either subdue or massacre the Jews, and that genuine, long-lasting peace with the infidels is not achievable.
Speaking on Hamas’ Al Aqsa TV, MP Yunis Al-Astal explained that in the Quran, Allah taught the Muslims that “they [the Jews] are the ones with whom you made a covenant, but they break their covenant every time.”
Seeking a solution to this conundrum, Al-Astal continued his reading of the Muslim scriptures, pointing out that Allah commanded his followers that should they “gain mastery over them [the Jews] in a war, use them to disperse those who follow them that they may remember.”
What does that mean? Al-Astal provided the explanatory commentary. “This indicates that we must massacre them, in order to break them down and prevent them from sowing corruption in the world,” he stated. One would presume this also applies to the “infidel” Christians living in the region.
The video below contains the relevant parts of Al-Astal’s teaching (translation provided by Middle East Media Research Institute):

Brave German Woman: Why Heidi Mund Rebuked Islam

Heidi Mund
- standing for Jesus in Germany

Brave German Woman:

Why Heidi Mund Rebuked Islam

Heidi Mund, an atheist-turned-Christian, has gained global notoriety for standing up to Islam's creeping influence in her homeland, Germany.
Last November, when a Muslim imam was invited to give a call to prayer inside a historic German church, she stood and proclaimed "Jesus Christ alone is Lord of Germany," before shouting, "I break this curse."
Mund then repeated the words of Martin Luther in 1521, when he defended his belief in scripture alone:
"'Here I stand,'" she quoted Luther. "'I can do no other. Save the church of Martin Luther!'"
By publicly attacking the lie of Islam, she has placed her own life at risk. But Mund, who's become known on the Internet simply as the "Brave German Woman," explained she did it because she has a burden for the spiritual rebirth of Germany.
"Many people ask me, 'Are you afraid of the Muslims?' And I can only say, 'No, I'm not afraid of them,'" she told CBN News.
"I know my God, the living God of the Bible can protect for me for as long as he wants," she said. "When my time is over I will go to him."
Heidi Mund shared more about why she risked her life to take a public stand for Christ on "The 700 Club," March 25.

Properly Joined - The Great Commission, Part 13

Printer-friendly version
Week 13, 2014
We have been covering how having koinonia is essential for the true New Covenant life for fulfilling The Great Commission to make disciples, not merely converts. In the New Testament, every new believer’s discipleship began with being “added to the church.” There simply is no other biblical way to walk with God that does not also include being connected to the body of Christ as a member of His church. We cannot be properly connected to the Head without also being properly connected to His body.
Church life is required for discipleship in Christ. Books are now being written to try and justify not needing to be part of a local church. They say that one just needs to be a part of the “kingdom,” etc., but that is contrary to the testimony of the New Testament, regardless of how wise the rationale might seem. If we are disconnected from His body, we are also disconnected from the Head. He may still bless us as much as He can, and we can still learn about Him and be used by Him, but we will be drifting further from Him too.
This may be the primary reason why many will come to Him on that day having done many works in His name, yet He tells them to depart from Him because He never “knew” them (see Matthew 7:23). The Greek word translated “knew” in that text is not implying that He did not know who they were, but that He did not know them in the context of an intimate relationship. The Scriptures are clear that we cannot really be joined to Him without also being joined to His body, the church.
Granted, the church is far from what it is meant to be. Most people I have talked to about why they quit going to a local church say things like: they were not getting their needs met, were not being fed, got wounded or disappointed. No mature Christian or true disciple would ever base a decision on those kinds of things. A mature Christian or a maturing disciple lives to give not to get. If they are wounded or disappointed, they rejoice that they were given an opportunity to take up their cross and forgive others the way Jesus did, growing in love, patience, etc.
If the local church we have been called to is far from what it should be, how do we know that it was not our presence and input to that church that would help them get to where they are called to be? If we abandon our post, our assignment in Christ, we are departing from His will. We may be abandoning many of His people when they need us most.
This does not negate the fact that the Lord does, from time to time, call people to spend time alone with Him or send them on new assignments or to a different local church. However, I have never seen Him lead someone out of a situation in defeat. He “always leads us in His triumph” (see II Corinthians 2:14). We are not called to go from defeat to defeat, but from victory to victory, glory to glory. We should get a victory in one place before leaving it, so that we are leaving it in victory.
We are told in Isaiah 48 that if we are walking in the light, the glory of the Lord will be our rear guard. This means that we will be leaving a trail of His glory behind us, not a trail of defeats. We should always leave something built, not torn down.
What does the trail behind us look like?
