Global Christian broadcast leader TBN has announced that it is partnering with Hillsong Church, the world's leading creator of inspirational, life-changing praise and worship music, in the June 15 launch of an innovative addition to faith-and-family television, the Hillsong Channel. The 24-hour network—with a planned distribution footprint including broadcast, cable and nearly a dozen satellites around the world—will combine the best in cutting-edge worship from the most gifted singers, songwriters and musicians, with dynamic ministry from internationally acclaimed pastors and teachers.
TBN Chairman Matthew Crouch noted that each week tens of millions of individuals in churches around the world praise God to the impacting music of Hillsong Worship. "We are excited and honored to welcome the Hillsong Channel as the newest member of the Trinity Broadcasting Family of Networks," he said. "This powerful new praise and worship network will offer an amazing opportunity for us to reach a whole new generation of viewers with the message of hope and grace as we partner with the most iconic and far-reaching presence in contemporary Christian music."
Viewers of the Hillsong Channel will have 24-7 front-row access to all the best from Hillsong's popular international conferences, along with dynamic worship from gifted groups, singers and songwriters such as Hillsong United, Young and Free, Reuben Morgan, Joel Houston and many others. There will also be plenty of life-changing teaching from internationally acclaimed Christian leaders like Hillsong Senior Pastor Brian Houston and his wife, Bobbi Houston, whose "Sisterhood" outreach is inspiring and equipping a generation of women to walk in their God-ordained destiny.
Over the past several years, Hillsong Church has expanded dramatically from its flagship location in Sydney, Australia, to an increasing number of vibrant congregations in such key cities as London, Paris, Stockholm, Cape Town, Buenos Aires, New York, Phoenix and Los Angeles—making Hillsong's worship and ministry truly international in flavor and perspective.
Pastor Brian Houston said that with the launch of the Hillsong Channel, millions of viewers around the world will have access to the life-transforming worship and ministry that are the recognized hallmark of Hillsong Church. "This new aspect of the Hillsong global vision is unlike anything we have launched up to this point," he said. "It'll be a continuous, 24-7 feed that will be exalting Jesus and empowering people for every part of life."
Matthew Crouch said that additional information will become available in the weeks ahead of the network's planned June 15 official launch. "We're encouraging everyone to stay tuned as we prepare to introduce what we believe is one of the most exciting positive broadcast additions to come along in recent history," he said. "We think it's going to help broaden the scope and outreach of faith-and-family television worldwide."

Judea and Samaria Manufacturers Refuse to Put Discriminatory Labels on Products by Ahuva Balofsky - BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

Germany Demands Labels From Settlements Read "Occupied Territories"

“And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over the Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster.” Deuteronomy 27:2 (The Israel Bible™)
Israelis living in the Jordan Valley have vehemently refused to label their products as coming from “occupied territories”, sending a scathing letter to Germany’s ambassador, several media outlets reported. According to Israel National News, David Elhayani, head of the Jordan Valley regional council, was responding to a phone request from a German marketing company.
The German company, Gaia, contacted a local farmer, informing him that their clients would like a prominent label applied to Jordan Valley products, stating “the product was produced in territories occupied by the government of Israel.” This is accordance with new EU guidelines, set in November, which forbid products made beyond the pre-1967 borders of Israel to be labeled “Made in Israel”.
Elhayani, himself a farmer, dashed off an angry letter last week to German ambassador to Israel Clemens von Goetze. Calling the demand “discriminatory” and “politically motivated”, he refused on behalf of the community to comply.
Reminding the ambassador of his country’s Nazi past, Elhayani wrote, “We will not label any of our products. In our eyes the demand to label goods is equal to the demand from the dark and awful days of the past when Jews were labeled in Europe.”

The timing of the demand, Elhayani argued, also showed incredible insensitivity to the plight of Israelis today, coming as it does in the midst of a terror wave which has claimed the lives of 29 Israelis and 3 foreign nationals in the past five months. “The state of Israel in these days is dealing with a wave of violent and severe terror. This decision for the harmful demand by the European Union comes on the background of this serious reality – it’s simply scandalous.”
According to The Jerusalem Post, Elhayani told von Goetze that 60 percent of Jordan Valley residents rely on agriculture for the income, and 20 percent of the region’s exports go to Europe.
Elhayani’s comments echoed those of Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel Friday, who said this was not the first time Europe had chosen to label Jews. Ariel demanded the EU renounce its “wretched boycott decision”.
Judea and Samaria are the heartland of Biblical Israel, and Jewish settlements there represent the return, after 2,000 years, of a people in exile to its home. The EU claims its decision to label Israeli settlement goods stems from an unwillingness to support what it considers an illegal occupation, but agreements reached with other nations in similarly questionable positions belie the claim. Europe also announced recently its agreements with Israel will no longer be applicable beyond the so-called “green line”, another move decried by Israel.
The US has quietly followed Europe’s example, with the US Customs Department “reissuing” a 1995 order to label West Bank and Gaza products. In reality, however, the original order applied only to Palestinian-made products from those regions, whereas the current directive is being applied to Israeli-made products, as well. Violators are subject to stiff fines.

Former Muslim Now Baptizing Muslim Converts - CBN News George Thomas

Former Muslim Now Baptizing Muslim Converts

Shahid is proof that God is moving powerfully across parts of Muslim-majority Middle East and North Africa.
Shahid (not his real name for security purposes), is from Libya and grew up a devout Muslim.
"As every Libyan, when I was a little boy, I used to go to the Koranic school," Shahid told Leading The Way with Dr. Joseph Youssef, a Christian television and radio ministry that broadcasts in more than 190 countries around the world.
Shahid spent 14 years of his life attending Muslim schools, where a strict interpretation of Islamic jurisprudence was taught. He became an expert in the Koran, even memorizing the entire Muslim holy book.
But the closer he examined the Muslim laws, the more he become disillusioned with what he read.

"Islam was completely exposed with its hidden reality," Shahid said of studying Islam. "Little by little, I had serious concerns about Islam."
To get some answers to his questions, he sought the advice of friends and family. But they told him not to question his faith. They even became hostile.
"They told me there is a verse in the Koran that urges Muslims not to seek answers to questions about some things, as it may hurt them if they know the answers."
The doubt. The questions. The inaccuracies of his faith tormented Shahid.
"I lived in a struggle for more than four years," Shahid told LTW in a video produced by the organization.
Desperate and despondent, Shahid said he decided to abandon the faith of his childhood and become an atheist.
"I got to a point when Islam had no part of my life, and religion ceased to exist and Muhammad meant nothing to me."
It was around this time that Shahid came across Kingdom SAT, Leading The Way's 24-hour satellite channel, which broadcasts across the Muslim world.

With the help of Leading The Way partners in the Middle East, Shahid secretly connected with Christians in Lebanon and Jordon and eventually was introduced to Jesus Christ.
"I learned about who Jesus is and how to be a Christian. We studied how to live with Christ, fellowship with Him, and be part of the church."
After several months of intensive Bible studies, Shahid said he "accepted Jesus' salvation and got baptized."
Inspired with revelation of God's profound love for him, Shahid said he felt compelled to share his new found faith with his countrymen in Libya and others across the region.

"I couldn't keep my mouth shut," Shahid said. "I had to share Jesus with others."
According to LTW, Shahid has been sharing the love of Christ with Muslim followers and many have turned to faith in Christianity.
Two years after leaving Islam, Leading The Way says Shahid has planted 11 churches across North Africa and Europe and is baptizing Muslim converts.

Shahid recently shared a picture with Leading The Way showing him baptizing new converts to Christianity on the same shores of North Africa where the Islamic terror group ISIS beheaded 21 Coptic Christians in February 2015.
Leading The Way's founder and president Dr. Michael Youssef says testimonies like Shahid's and countless others should bring hope and inspiration to the Body of Christ.

"He is a free man," Youssef said of Shahid's testimony. "Most importantly, he is free in Christ!"
Despite the sufferings of Christians, Leading The Way says Shahid's life is one more powerful example of how God is transforming lives across the Middle East and North Africa.

Zionist Dutch Family Sparks Huge Movement of Christians Blessing Israel by Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz - BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS

Zionist Dutch Family Sparks Huge Movement of Christians Blessing Israel

“Pray for the peace of Yerushalayim; may they prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.” Psalms 122:6-7 (The Israel Bible™)
When the European Union passed a resolution in January to label products made in the West Bank and Golan, it wasn’t only Israel that was up in arms. A Dutch Christian organization that promotes Israeli products for Biblical and ideological reasons has picked up the gauntlet, challenging the EU as well. But the organization’s connection to Israel and the Jewish people goes much deeper than that. For the van Orrdt family that heads the organization, supporting Israel as part of their religious devotion is a family tradition.
Karel van Oordt founded the International Christians for Israel (CFI) organization and its import agency, the Israel Products Center (IPC), in 1979 to support Israel economically. Motivated by his Biblical beliefs, van Oordt wanted to help practically to return the Jews back to Israel in order to bring the Messiah. His message was specifically for his fellow Christians but had a universal element as well.
In CFI’s announcement of his death in 2013, Karel was quoted as frequently saying, “Our task is to comfort Israel. The promises that were given to Israel are being fulfilled for Israel. The promises that were given to the church will be fulfilled for the church.”
In fact, Pieter van Oordt, Karel’s son, who now leads CFI with his brother Roger, told Breaking Israel News that his family has been praying for Israel to come into existence since 1835. “Israel is God’s friend and all of the promises God made to Israel are coming true. That is how Israel came to be,” he said.
The family’s support for the Jewish people is not only theoretical, but practical. CFI joins together with Jewish organizations to advocate for Israel, and Roger van Oordt is close to the Jewish community. When the home of the Chief Rabbi of the Netherlands, Rabbi Binyomin Jacobs, was attacked by anti-Semitic vandals during the 2014 war in Gaza, Roger van Oordt, a close friend, of Jacobs’, went to the rabbi’s house with his wife and two of his children to personally clean up.
Pieter van Oordt is very modest. He says that the family is happy they can do a small part to help Israel in order to serve God, but the movement his father started is anything but small. Now led by Karel’s sons, the Christians For Israel movement has branches and affiliates in more than 30 countries. Its import agency, which brings in shipments of Israeli products to sell worldwide, has millions of dollars in revenue. Its substantial profits show that their idea has considerable support around the globe.
The IPC’s imported products are sold from their warehouse headquarters in Niijerk, whose exterior is decorated with the largest fully-functional menorah in Europe – a 36-foot tall Star of David mounted on a six-ton base to stand against the North Sea wind and any anti-Semitism that may come its way.

The IPC imports 120,000 bottles of Israeli wine every year, as well as tons of Dead Sea cosmetics and thousands of every-day goods, such as Israeli-made cleaning detergents and Israeli snacks and foods. Its best customers, most of them Protestant members of the Christians for Israel movement, share the van Oorts’ ideological and religious views of Israel, buying Israeli goods through a feeling of moral duty to help Jews return to their land.
CFI supports Israel not only financially but through charity and goodwill, collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars to protect Israeli children at risk from Hamas rockets and needy Israeli Holocaust survivors. JTA reported that after a Jewish guard outside Copenhagen’s main synagogue was killed last year, CFI groups from all over Europe donated over $20,000 to improve the security at the two Jewish schools in the Netherlands.
Reflecting Karel van Oordt’s original Messianic vision, the CFI movement also assists Jews in making aliyah. In conjunction with the Jewish Agency, CFI groups have helped over 100,000 Jews come to Israel and aided them in settling after they arrive.
Ongoing persecution of Israel and Jews only strengthens the van Oordts’ cause. In a letter Pieter van Oordt wrote in February to his thousands of loyal customers, he objected to the recent EU policy of labeling products from the “occupied territories” – Judea, Samaria, and the Golan.  The company waived shipment costs last month in order to stimulate sales.
Van Oordt argued in his letter that the policy was prejudicial, focusing on Israel while ignoring numerous other cases of disputed territories. He accused the EU of going against the Bible by  denying Israel’s Biblical right to the land and condemned the EU policy for humanitarian reasons, citing the loss of livelihood to the Jewish and Arab residents of what the EU labeled “occupied territories”.
“Regardless of the Biblical and political arguments against the decision to partition Israel in such a way, it is also inhumane. These people deserve a salary to support their families,” he wrote.
The van Oordts and Christians like them support Israel and the Jews as a part of their religious service. This warm connection between Christians and Jews is unprecedented in the 1,700  year history of the two Abrahamic religions.
Pieter van Oordt certainly thinks it is a sign of the times, asking Breaking Israel News, “It seems clear the Messiah is close, don’t you think?”

In this week's Torah portion which we will read on Shabbat, we learn about Bezalel, ּthe very talented artisan who constructed the Tabernacle and its furnishings. It says that “Bezalel did everything that God commanded.” In Hebrew, Bezalel means "in the shadow of God" בְּצֵל אֵל - a fitting name for one who understood that all of his talents were a gift from God, and never veered from His instructions. Now you can learn your Hebrew name and proudly wear it on a beautiful Hebrew Name Necklace.

Joel C. Rosenberg's Blog: As VP Biden arrives in Israel, new wave of terror attacks unleashed leaving American tourist dead, many wounded.

MDA-emergencyscene

New post on Joel C. Rosenberg's Blog

As VP Biden arrives in Israel, new wave of terror attacks unleashed leaving American tourist dead, many wounded. Here’s the latest.

by joelcrosenberg
(Central Israel) -- An American tourist is dead, his wife is badly wounded, an Israeli man has been critically wounded, and many more have been injured in a fresh wave of terror attacks in Jerusalem, the port city of Jaffa near Tel Aviv, and the West Bank in the last 48 hours.
The American has been identified as Taylor Force, a 29 year old graduate student at Vanderbuilt University, a U.S. Army veteran who graduated from West Point, and a native of Lubbock, Texas. Taylor's wife, who was visiting Israel with him, was also reportedly severely wounded in the stabbing attack in Jaffa.
Please be praying for the Lord to restore calm and order, for healing and comfort for the victims and their families, and wisdom for Israeli and Arab leaders. Please also share this article with others and mobilize them to pray, as well.
"In all, twenty-nine Israelis and four foreign nationals have been killed in a wave of Palestinian terrorism and violence since October," reported the Times of Israel. "Some 180 Palestinians have also been killed, around two-thirds of them while attacking Israelis, and the rest during clashes with troops, according to the Israeli army."
After a severe wave of terror attacks across Israel and the West Bank last Fall, things have actually been noticeably quieter here in recent months. But these attacks have suddenly shattered the relative calm. See below for the latest developments.
The brutal attacks coincide with the arrival of Vice President Joe Biden in Israel on Tuesday afternoon in a bid to re-start peace talks between Israelis and Palestinians. The VP met with former Israeli President Shimon Peres late Tuesday afternoon, just blocks from where the attack on the American tourist was occurring. Today, the VP is meeting in Jerusalem with Prime Minister Netanyahu and later with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin. Later today, Biden will head to Ramallah to meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
Tomorrow, Biden heads to Jordan to meet with King Abdullah II. On Monday, the VP was in the United Arab Emirates.
THE FIRST ATTACK ON WEDNESDAY: "The first attack took place on Golda Meir Boulevard in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramot where shots were fired on an Egged bus," the Jerusalem Post reported. "Passengers reported seeing two men in a car who opened fire on the bus. A citizen, noticing the commotion, exited his car and ran towards the scene and fired his weapon. The terrorists fled the scene. Three people were lightly injured in the attack and were transferred to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. Several people were treated for shock at the scene."
THE SECOND ATTACK ON WEDNESDAY: "Shortly following the bus attack, an additional shooting attack was reported near the New Gate in Jerusalem's Old City," reported the Post. "MDA paramedics at the scene treated a man in his 50s who was listed in critical condition with bullet wounds to his upper body. The victim was evacuated to Hadassa University Medical Center on Jerusalem's Mount Scopus. Two terrorists were shot and killed by security forces."
THE THIRD ATTACK ON WEDNESDAY: "In the third attack of the morning, a terrorist attempted to stab a soldier at the Salfit checkpoint near the settlement of Ariel in the West Bank according to the IDF spokesperson," the Post added.
THE TERROR ATTACKS IN JAFFA ON TUESDAY: "An American tourist was killed and at least 10 people were injured Tuesday evening when a Palestinian man carried out a stabbing spree in Jaffa," reported the Times of Israel. "Five of the injured were described as being in critical condition. The terrorist stabbed his victims in at least three locations in an attack that lasted some 20 minutes."
"The American fatality was later identified as 29-year-old Taylor Force, from Lubbock, Texas, a graduate student at Vanderbilt University," the Times reported.
"Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Hospital said it received six victims, one in critical condition, two in moderate condition and two suffering from lighter wounds. The hospital’s medical director confirmed that one of the victims was a pregnant woman. Another of the victims was an Arab Israeli — Jaffa is a mixed city with a sizable Arab population — and one a Palestinian man who was residing in Israel illegally, police reported."
"It was the third serious attack of the day, coming on the heels of a stabbing in Petah Tikva and a shooting in Jerusalem," the Times noted, adding that "the Hamas terror group released a statement praising the attacks as 'heroic operations' and saying they prove that the wave of violence that began in October has not ended."
“Hamas celebrates the martyrs that have ascended through these operations, and confirms that their pure blood will, God willing, be the fuel for escalating the intifada,” the group wrote on its website.
"Before Tuesday, twenty-nine Israelis and three foreign nationals had been killed in a wave of Palestinian terrorism and violence since October," reported the Times.

Ron Cantor - The Most Misunderstood Verse in the New Testament - Messiah's Mandate

The Most Misunderstood Verse in the New Testament
Ron Cantor —  March 9, 2016 Messiah's Mandate

We take a look at Galatians 3:28 and share why it is misunderstood and tell you what it really means.
