With these words God implies that He will be with Jacob only if he returns to the land of his fathers, the Land of Israel, but not if he stays with Laban in Haran. Rabbi Meir Leibush Weiser explains that God intentionally removed his protection from Jacob in order to motivate Him to return to the Land of Israel. After spending so much time outside the Holy Land it is time to go home. Discover more incredible insights like this one with The Israel Bible.

Before we are redeemed we must verbally commit ourselves to Hashem and not become haughty through our success. This commitment takes the form of prayer in which we must make explicit our affirmation to believe in G-d.
Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus by Timothy Mahony, is a video presenting an examination of a plethora of information gathered during twelve years of research and travel, in an attempt to unlock and reveal evidence of one of the most well-known stories within biblical history, The Exodus of the Jews from Egypt. Literary, archaeological and historical records were examined to determine whether or not the famous story of the Exodus of Israelites from the land of Egypt is fact or fiction.
Jaffa Gate is one of eight gates allowing entry into the old city of Jerusalem. Did you know that its unique angled position is thought to have been created intentionally, purposefully oriented in the direction of Jaffa Road, from which pilgrims arrived at the end of their journey from the port of Jaffa.

"To that end be alert with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints" (Eph. 6:18b).
Why should you be persistent in your prayers, even when you don't get an answer? There are four reasons:
1. Persistent prayer focuses your attention. When you pray a prayer request over and over, it's not to remind God. He doesn't need to be reminded. It's to remind yourself who is the source of your answer and all your needs. If every prayer you ever prayed were instantly answered, two things would be true. First, prayer would become a weapon of destruction in your life. And, you'd never think about God, because He would become a vending machine. If every time you prayed, you instantly got results, all you'd think about is the blessing. God wants you to think about the blesser.
2. Persistent prayer clarifies your request. A delayed answer gives you time to clarify exactly what you want and to refine your prayers. When you pray persistently to your heavenly Father, and you say something over and over again, it separates deep longings from mere whims. It says, "God, I really care about this."
It's not that God doesn't want to answer your prayers. He does. It's just that He wants you to be certain about what you really want.
3. Persistent prayer tests your faith. James 1:3-4 says, "knowing that the trying of your faith develops patience. But let patience perfect its work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." The only way you can grow to spiritual maturity is to have your faith tested. One of the ways God's going to test your faith is by delaying some answers to your prayers.
4. Persistent prayer prepares your heart for the answer. When you make a request of God, He almost always wants to answer in a bigger and better way than you've prayed. Sometimes He denies your prayer requests because you're thinking and asking too small. He wants to give you something bigger and better. But first, He has to prepare you for it. So God uses delays in answering prayer to help you grow, to help you get ready and to help prepare you for a bigger and better answer.
Remember, "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or imagine, according to the power that works in us" (Eph. 3:20).
Talk It Over
What is something you've been praying about for a long time? How do you need to refine your request?
If God is testing you right now by delaying an answer to your prayer, how can you show Him you are willing to grow and accept his will and purpose for you?
Think of something you prayed for over the years that God never supplied. How have you seen that His denial was actually a blessing in your life?

Love covers a multitude of sins." The words rang in my ears, and I couldn't get the six-word phrase off my mind. At 17, already an alcoholic and an addict, I was working at a summer camp in Lake Tahoe. Although I was raised in church, I had never been around Christians like these. They didn't tell me to change anything about my appearance, my attitudes or my addictions. "Love covers a multitude of sins," they said when I smoked cigarettes or dope or threw fits over doing my chores.
"Love covers a multitude of sins." Was God's love enough to cover all the wrong, illegal and immoral things I had ever done, including my alcohol addiction, lying, bad habits, promiscuity and even my drug-dealing? Was it true that I didn't have to clean up my act before coming to God and that He loved me passionately just the way I was?
One night, in the quietness of my cabin, I submitted to the overwhelming love of God. I agreed with him about my condition and allowed His grace to cover my multitude of sins. That was June 1974, and God hasn't let go of me since. He delivered me from my drug and alcohol addiction.
"How quickly we forget God's great deliverance in our lives. How easily we take for granted the miracles he performed in our past." —David Wilkerson
God's name "Deliverer" reminds us He will rescue us if we call on Him. He will give us victory over the most difficult circumstances and will see us through. "He rescued me from my strong enemy, from those who hate me; for they were stronger than I" (2 Sam. 22:18).
When you need deliverance, read Ps. 107, a beautiful song written about liberation. It was sung to celebrate the Jews' return to freedom from bondage in Egypt and from their exile in Babylon.
Remember Joseph's story? Through his brothers' jealous mistreatment, God allowed Joseph to be taken away as a slave to Egypt. He ultimately became Pharaoh's right-hand man and planned ahead for years of famine. He led the country to become the world's economic leader. Through Joseph, God provided for the Israelites to thrive in the land of Egypt. Decades later, there was a pharaoh on the throne who didn't know Joseph; God allowed the Israelites to be oppressed by the Egyptians. The Israelites grew in numbers and power, and the pharaohs began to eliminate them. Moses was sent by God to lead the Israelites to freedom:
"Oh, give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good, for His mercy endures forever! Let the redeemed of the Lord speak out ..." (Ps. 107:a-b).
Thankfulness to God should always be on the lips of those he has saved. This verse is a beautiful picture of the response of the Israelites after they had been freed, though they deserved only judgment. They had been in bondage, yet the Lord heard their cries, and He freed them. A definition of redeemed found at answers.com says "redeemed means to extricate from an undesirable state: reclaim, recover, rescue." God rescued His people. The Israelites experienced the God who redeems.
Another definition is to "restore the honor, worth or reputation of." You botched the last job but can redeem yourself on this one. What about you? Have you truly experienced what redemption means? We can trust God to redeem us in impossible circumstances and claim his promises:
"Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses" (Ps. 107:6).
God the Deliverer heard the cries of the children of Israel; He knew their situation: "... the children of Israel sighed because of the bondage, and they cried out, and their cry came up to God on account of the bondage. God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant ... God looked on the children of Israel, and God had concern for them" (Ex. 2:23-25).
God promised deliverance in Exodus 6:6b, "I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage ..." God also said in verse 7, "And I will take you to Me for a people, and I will be to you a God. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians."
God's people had cried out to God. They were in anguish because of their oppression. He heard them. God delivered them; he brought them out of slavery. He freed them from captivity. Have you cried out to God in your trouble?
When I was given a diagnosis of stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, I prayed to God for my healing, and so did others around the world. We prayed nights and days; we anguished in prayer for my healing. I was delivered from disease. I thank God for delivering me from cancer.
God wants to deliver you.
Are you worried about the future? Is. 40:31a is for you: "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength" (NIV).
Are you worried about the unknown test results, finances, a prodigal child? Is. 54:10 is for you: "For the mountains may be removed, and the hills may shake, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed.
And when the Deliverer carries you through, thank Him and praise Him for the satisfaction He brings: "Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love ... for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things" (Ps. 107:8-9).
Hope in things = Distracted
Hope in people = Disappointed
Hope in myself = Devastated
Hope in Christ = Delivered
—Rachel Wojo
Let's pray.
Heavenly Father, we give thanks to You, for You are good. "Your love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story" (Ps. 107:1-2, NIV). Thank You for hearing my cries, as I cry out in time of trouble. Thank You for delivering me (v. 6). Thank you, Lord, for your unfailing love. Thank you for satisfying the thirsty and filling the hungry with good things (vv. 8-9). Thank you, my Deliverer, You are so good. Thank You, my God. In Jesus' name, amen.

“Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell,
severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise
you also will be cut off.” (Romans 11:22, NASU)
For many Americans (well at least 50 % of them) the 2016 elections gave
hope that the grace of God would once again direct our steps, in giving this
nation another opportunity to look to Him for the road we must follow.
With the election of Donald Trump and other conservative leadership, the
future of this country will hopefully take the dramatic turn needed to be on
the right road, the opposite of that one which by natural decisions we had
taken the wrong way, through the establishment of immoral and ungodly laws.
Believers can once again see the glimmer of light coming.
One could sense the relief, if not outright rejoicing, that those who had
loudly proclaimed their ways of death would not be given the chance to further
erode His established ways, through governmental and judicial transformation.
Once again the Lord has stopped the enemy’s hidden, ongoing agenda, which would
further bring down America and continue to remove the protective walls that had
brought us to that place of being a light upon a hill.
There always seems to be two sides of the coin when considering a choice
to be made. The goodness of the Lord can give us further opportunity to get
back on the right path. But we must be aware that He is also a just God, and if
we do not, by His grace, stop the destructive ways that have become most
prevalent in our society, we will experience His severity.
A society cannot long disregard the laws of the living God and expect to
live without the due consequences. As outlined in Deuteronomy, proclaimed first to
the Israelites, the same holds true for any people called to follow after Him.
“I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set
before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order
that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the Lord your God, by
obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the
length of your days, that you may live in the land which the Lord swore to your
fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them." (Deuteronomy
30:19-20, NASU)
While we gratefully acknowledge this newly given opportunity to see
restoration of just and righteous laws once again in our land, we must not
expect that we can sit back and just let our governmental leaders do it. As the
people of God, we must stand strong in prayer, petition, and ongoing
proclamation for His kingdom to come, His will to be done, on earth as it is in
heaven.
This is the mandate we have been given. By His love and grace flowing
through us, life will overcome death, and true freedom will be experienced
under the shadow of His outstretched wings.
If we fail to seek Him in these years ahead, and acknowledge Him in all
our His ways, we will lose sight of the chosen path set before us, resulting in
further destruction and evil coming upon the people of this land.
We must keep our eyes fixed on Him, our only hope and glory.

"Honoring the Life of Kim Clement"by Doug Addison, Los Angeles, CA
From the Desk of Steve Shultz:
This is a very heart-felt word about the life of Kim Clement. I appreciate Doug Addison sharing some key insight he received from Kim's life and how he will continue being honored on the earth.
Doug shares this about Kim's passing:
At Kim's graduation into Heaven there was a sudden loud burst of applause and a great celebration happened. A veil in the spiritual realm split and there was an explosion. Then his gifts, anointing, assignments and unfulfilled prophetic words began to fall to Earth. It was like a burst of confetti and it was brilliant in light and color and there was a joyous sound.
If you can, I highly encourage you to join in on Kim Clement's "Celebration of Life" happening this Saturday at noon, pacific time. You can go to www.Kim.TV to join in. Also at this same link, please consider giving a donation in Kim's memory so that his ministry may continue to carry on his vision.

"Honoring the Life of Kim Clement"by Doug Addison, Los Angeles, CA
An amazing prophet and man of God went to Heaven November 23, 2016. I want to take a moment and honor Kim Clement and pray for his wife Jane, his family and his ministry, House of Destiny. The pain of having such a vibrant warrior of the Lord ripped from us is too much to fathom. Our prayers go out for all who are grieving.
The morning of November 23rd, before I received the news of Kim's passing, I woke up at 3:00 a.m. perplexed as the heavens were darkened. It was as if every demon had come and was hovering over Southern California. Later I understood this.
It was similar to Luke 23 when Jesus died. The sun was darkened at 3:00 in the afternoon. I believe this was because the demons gathered to celebrate. But what they did not realize was that the loss of every servant on Earth is a gain in Heaven and releases an even greater blessing on Earth.
"Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." John 12:24NIV
Darkness Turned to Light
At Kim's graduation into Heaven there was a sudden loud burst of applause and a great celebration happened. A veil in the spiritual realm split and there was an explosion. Then his gifts, anointing, assignments and unfulfilled prophetic words began to fall to Earth. It was like a burst of confetti and it was brilliant in light and color and there was a joyous sound.
With the untimely passing of such a powerful man of God and prophet, there is an injustice left unfurled on the Earth. Similar to the untimely passing of Stephen in Acts 7, it left a vacuum and justified the Lord to move in an even greater measure for repayment. Acts 9 brought a response with the Apostle Paul being called and later commissioned to take the Gospel to the entire world.
An untimely death of one servant brought a global harvest that changed the world forever. This is what is happening from the untimely deaths of the prophets right now.
Kim saw visions of himself living longer than he actually did. This is common for prophets to see themselves living longer or doing things they were not able to fulfill on Earth (Hebrews 11:13). This is because their ministry and gifts never die and actually carry on after they are gone from the Earth. Heaven and Earth are very interactive.
A few days ago, I woke up hearing Kim's voice speaking in my spirit: "Don't forget my call to Hollywood." I am not saying I got anything from him except a lot of encouragement to press on for those of us who remain.
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His faithful servants." Psalm 116:15 NIV
It will be important to understand God's ways as key servants are taken to Heaven. This is not to bring fear but great celebration for their lives and what they have done. It will greatly change the landscape of Heaven and bring about a major shifting on Earth as the prayers from those who are in Heaven come into agreement with those on Earth. May Kim's journey and calling never end.
Lord, we pray for those of us who remain. We pray for the healing of grief. Lord send us the Comforter. Open our eyes to the celebration happening right now. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Please consider donating to the memory of Kim Clement and to help his family and ministry. There will be a special broadcast Saturday, December 10 at 12/Noon PST at www.Kim.TV.

Prophecy: America Will Receive a New Apostolic Foundation
BOB ESCHLIMAN Dec. 9, 2016 charisma news
In a powerful word shared at The Elijah List on Friday, Stephen Powell of Lion of Light Ministries in South Carolina discussed finances, the economy and how the church needs to respond in this hour.
But he also shared a word about a new apostolic foundation that will be laid for the nations. Likening the U.S.' foundations to those of Solomon's reign in 1 Kin. 3:4, he spoke of the sacrifices many of the Founding Fathers made to ensure our nation's prosperity.
Those times, he wrote, are returning:
It's a matter of history that many of our Founding Fathers gave vast sums of their wealth away, giving into the cause of the revolution, sacrificially giving to establish the foundation of a new nation. Many of these fathers gave their lives for the love of something, which they received from God. They gave so much because of the hope that God gave them—that liberty and freedom might reign in this new world.
The Lord says, "I'm bringing together apostolic fathers again, not just in the church but in nation and state. They will break up the old foundations that offend and pour new strength into the Constitution, even into your foundation as a nation, to stand and trust God once again for our greatest days. This foundation will undoubtedly be built on truth. And not a convenient truth, but a tried truth, a proven truth, a loving truth," says the Lord.
"The people who pour it and the people who build it will be good for their word. For it will be a striking trait of this new apostolic company of government reformers. They will keep their word, even with grace to carry it through. There is rising a greater part with you, for the giving of the word, and the 'yes' and 'amen' that come with it.
"This will build impeccable character and rapport with the people. They will continue to be less touchable, even in many ways beyond previous reproaches that so weighed down previous teams. But in standing in truth, they will be strengthened by the God of truth, and they will effectively lay the foundation for America's new day, even pave the way for the greatest harvest with love, sweat and tears for this nation," says the Lord.
