Danny Steyne: "Get Ready! A Great Shift is Happening"

THE ELIJAH LIST  May 25, 2017

Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:
I can sense a "shift" coming, how about you? I enjoyed reading the revelations that Danny Steyne received in his latest word about the SHIFT that is coming to the Church.
I understand there are exciting things coming as Danny shares his revelations:
"I realized that He was about to cause a shift in the earth that would break open the dams that have locked the free flow of the "Spirit Way" upstream in all the streams that existed. This shift was going to cause a tumultuous and disruptive release to The River to flow as God had intended it to!"
Let the River flow...there is a SHIFT coming, Church! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List go here.)

HR

In November 1989 the Lord told me, "If unity will come to the Church, someone has to be willing to be offended first." Through the years I've watched and waited. I've seen little "cross-pollination" that does more than create the awkward experience of "almost unity", but not quite. Then I received three things that would shift my focus in a huge way!
"The intensity in the Spirit of this hour requires a peace inside of us. We must not divert from the call of God on our lives, but be very aware of the times in which we are living."
First, I saw a shifter in a car – a speed shifter – no clutch needed! We were about to enter the next phase without the usual protocol. We were going from 2nd to 4th gear! (That feeling of needing to shift gears out of second and the engine begging for a shift is how most of the Church has been feeling...but here is the answer!)
The initial shift would seem slow, but as we move through it, we would realize 3rd gear wasn't working, and so it was bypassed to get us to Highway Speed. We were going to be driving on the Highway of Holiness: "A highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness" (Isaiah 35:8).
Secondly, I also saw many streams rushing down the hillsides in a torrential river and watched as they crashed and exploded into that river and realized we had only seen minimal trickles entering The River, but what we were about to see was going to challenge the torrents of the rivers and streams coming. It was tumultuous. It raged with a passion and produced a speed in The River not previously experienced.
I realized that He was about to cause a shift in the earth that would break open the dams that have locked the free flow of the "Spirit Way" upstream in all the streams that existed. This shift was going to cause a tumultuous and disruptive release to The River to flow as God had intended it to! (Photo via Pixabay)
The streams aren't going to flow together, they are going to crash into one another and stir up the passionate heart of God rather than forcing ideologies and opinions across denominational and stream lines. This was the Body of Christ on the earth about to arise.
This was the expression of The Giant waking up to the intended call of the earliest disciples not to "a" way but to "The Way" of following Jesus. "All nations will stream to the Mountain of the Lord."Isaiah 2:2
The Season of Deborah
The third thing I heard was: "You are entering the season of Deborah." (Read Judges 4-5 for context.) As I began reflecting and meditating on this, my first response was the rise of women in the Church, but I realized that women are already rising in the Church.
Women are standing in places that previous generations would have never allowed. They have risen as being as gifted (or more so) than men in some areas. One quick glance through the Church and you will realize far more women are involved than men, and some have indicated this to be a problem; but Jesus ended His days as a man on the earth with women at the Cross by His side, except for one man, John. I realized the Lord was saying more than what I thought He was saying.
ElijahList Prophetic Resources
What He was declaring was further, deeper, than the surface meaning that can only be interpreted as "natural" thinking. God was speaking about a generational issue, a leadership issue, and not a gender issue.
Breakthrough for the Church in this hour is coming, but it's not coming from those whom we have perceived it's supposed to come. Breakthrough is coming not through known and the notable, not from the visible and the viable, not from the crowned and the cream, not from the professional and the polished. It's not coming through whom you think it will come and you must look in a different direction. It's coming through the willing. You must now look at yourselves!
Breakthrough is Coming in Surprising Ways
"I realized that He was about to cause a shift in the earth that would break open the dams that have locked the free flow of the "Spirit Way" upstream in all the streams that existed."
This breakthrough will cause those who should have done it already to become perplexed because they believed it would happen through them. It was their fear of losing what they had grown to enjoy in victories of the past and recognition for past battles that has held them back.
They were already carrying public honor and recognition and believed it had brought them to the place where they would have the honor of continuing to carry it, but it will be just like when the Lord pushed the "rightful heir" Shebna aside to lay the inheritance of the Key of David on a humble servant, Eliakim (see Isaiah 22:15-24).
They believed the battle and victory would be "brought" to them, rather than running to the battle as they once did. The generation of Deborah will be those who won't shrink back. Barak was the appropriate victor for this battle, but his insecurity to believe what God had spoken caused him to carry a fearful spirit. Fearful that God wouldn't do through him what God could do through Deborah.
This breakthrough will not be small and it will encourage those who have actually not been walking in the alliances of the Lord to reconsider their ways and do what the Lord wants. The courage of Deborah will evoke righteousness in a Jael company.
Exposing the Politically Correct Spirit
Political and religious correct speaking will be exposed and true discernment will be seen. As a result, the Jael company will take a sharp instrument and rightly divide "truth" and pierce the shemes and ways of the enemy that have kept the Church powerless by intimidation. It will be as a hammer drives a nail into the mind and schemes of the enemy. He will not rise from this blow. (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)
The name Deborah means "bee" – like a hornet. God says He will drive out the enemy with hornets. In Joshua 24:12 the Lord gives a promise of "how" the enemy will be defeated in every situation and circumstance. The enemy will be "stung." He will be sent running. Deborah represents the hornet of the prophetic, and it will send the enemy running while the Lord raises up a voice and a standard through His Bride, the Church.
On Schedule
The intensity in the Spirit of this hour requires a peace inside of us. We must not divert from the call of God on our lives, but be very aware of the times in which we are living. This is the time where the Church rises in glorious power and freedom and joy and where the miraculous and healings are evidenced all around us. It is here that the lost will rally and allow the salvation of Jesus inside to find them. It's the season of "Go-Go-Go." It's the season of Highways and Byways to beg the lost to come in! Don't stop. Don't be intimidated. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List go here.)

Why Trump's Historic Visit to Israel Will Bless America and Why the Date Is Significant - STEVE STRANG CHARISMA MAGAZINE

Why Trump's Historic Visit to Israel Will Bless America and Why the Date Is Significant

Strang Report, by Steve Strang, Founder of Charisma magazine
Sundown today, May 23, marks the beginning of "Jerusalem Day," celebrated all over the world by Jews—the 50th anniversary of the day Jerusalem was reunified in 1967. President Donald Trump's first overseas trip since becoming president included a visit to Israel on this historic day.
You probably have seen part or all of the speech he gave at the Israel Museum. Both he and Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke about the deep mutual support our nations have. President Trump also spoke about laying a wreath at Yad Vashem, the museum to the Holocaust, and mentioned how moved he felt to be able to pray at the Western Wall—the first sitting U.S. President to do so.
The Jim Bakker Show asked me to record a commentary about Trump's visit to Israel that will air today on the show. I used that as a basis of a podcast (which you can listen to below) in which I talk about the significance of Donald Trump's visit, the importance of America supporting Israel and my gratitude that we now have a president who is steadfast in his love for Israel. What a wonderful change of direction from our years under President Obama, who snubbed Prime Minister Netanyahu when he visited Washington, D.C., a couple of years ago.
Last week, I wrote a newsletter about the docudrama In Our Hands, presented for one night only in theaters all over America. Producer Gordon Robertson of CBN said that soon, his company will take this production to many other nations. In Our Hands focuses on the wonderful miracle that happened in 1967 when, in fulfillment of prophecy, Jerusalem was reunified. On our calendar, it's in early June, but on the Jewish calendar, it's May 23-24.
Charisma Israel flagA Jewish friend sent me a link to a very moving short video about the miracle of the Six-Day War. I looked at it out of courtesy, but I liked it so much I sent it to Zionist friends, one of whom said the tears flowed as he watched it. I posted it on social media and include a link here, knowing it will bless anyone who watches it.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for Israel. Most of it has come through our nonprofit partner, Christian Life Missions, which has a Bless Israel fund. Our current project supports ministries that help impoverished Jews, especially in the Ukraine, to make aliyah (move to) Israel. Although my newsletter is not a fund-raiser, I realize there are those reading this who love Israel and want to make a contribution, trusting our integrity that every dollar will go to Bless Israel. Go to christianlifemissions.org and click on the huge Donate button, fill it out and pay through PayPal. You can also mail a check the old-fashioned way to Bless Israel, Christian Life Missions, 600 Rinehart Road, Lake Mary, FL 32746.
The significance of the 50th anniversary of this fulfillment of prophecy excites me so much that I decided to display one of the huge Israeli flags we've used for pro-Israel rallies on the front of our building. We hung it to make a statement, knowing most people would be a little confused about why we did it. We added a sign in our lobby that reads: "Why are we flying the Israeli flag? It is in honor of Jerusalem Day, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the day the vastly outnumbered Israeli army reclaimed and reunified the old city of Jerusalem during the Six-Day War."
Please listen to the podcast and share it with friends. Let's encourage the Christian community to be strong supporters of Israel and to pray, as Scripture commands, for the peace of Jerusalem.

Handout Nation: Combined Enrollment In America’s 4 Largest Safety Net Programs Hits A Record High Of 236 Million - Michael Snyder THE ECONOMIC COLLAPSE BLOG

Posted: 24 May 2017 Michael Snyder  THE ECONOMIC COLLAPSE BLOG

Margaret Thatcher once said that the problem with socialism “is that eventually you run out of other people’s money”.  As you will see below, the combined enrollment in America’s four largest safety net programs has reached a staggering 236 million.  Of course that doesn’t mean that 236 million people are getting benefits from the government each month because there is overlap between the various programs.

For example, many Americans that are on Medicaid are also on food stamps, and many Americans that are on Medicare are also on Social Security.  But even accounting for that, most experts estimate that the number of Americans that are dependent on the federal government month after month is well over 100 million.  And now that so many people are addicted to government handouts, can we ever return to a culture of independence and self-sufficiency?

On Wednesday, CNN ran an editorial by Bernie Sanders in which he called President Trump’s proposed budget “immoral” because it would cut funding for government aid programs.

But is it moral to steal more than a hundred million dollars from future generations of Americans every single hour of every single day to pay for these programs?

Of course the answer to that question is quite obvious.

There will always be some Americans that are unable to take care of themselves, and we should want to help them.

But as millions upon millions of Americans continue to jump on to the safety net, eventually we are going to get to the point where it is going to break.

As I mentioned above, the combined enrollment in the four largest safety net programs has reached a new all-time record high…

More than 74 million Americans are on Medicaid and CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program).

More than  58 million Americans are on Medicare.

More than 60 million Americans are on Social Security.

Approximately 44 million Americans are on food stamps.  And even though we are supposedly in an “economic recovery”, this number is still dramatically higher than the 26 million Americans that were on food stamps prior to the last financial crisis.

When you add the figures for those four programs together, you get a grand total of 236 million, and that doesn’t even count any of the other federal programs which are helping people.

Once again, there is overlap in enrollment between these various programs, but even accounting for that most experts believe that well over a third of the country is currently receiving benefits from the government each month.

How far down this road do we have to go before people start calling it “socialism”?

As I was writing this, I was reminded of one of Benjamin Franklin’s most famous quotes
“When the people find that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.”

In our country today, many politicians have discovered that one of the best ways to win elections is to promise the voters as much free stuff as possible.  This is one of the primary reasons why Bernie Sanders did so well.  Young people loved his socialist policies, and he received more votes from Millennials in the primaries and caucuses than Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton combined.

As older generations of Americans continue to die off, the Millennials will just become even more powerful politically.  And considering the fact that they are far more liberal than other generations, that is a very alarming prospect…
In the minds of 80 percent of baby boomers and 91 percent of elderly Americans, communism was a major problem in years past and remains a significant concern today. But millennials, aged 16 to 20 years, see it differently. Only 55 percent of the younger generation take issue with communism, 45 percent say they would vote for a socialist and 21 percent say they’d vote for a communist.
And millennials made all that clear during the Democratic presidential primary, when many of them cast their vote for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-avowed socialist. In fact, the report credits the New England lawmaker with a “bounce” that led to less than half of millennials — 42 percent — having a favorable view of capitalism.
At this point, the Republic that our founders established is barely recognizable, and if it is going to be saved we need a conservative revolution as soon as possible.

A good place to begin would be to dramatically reduce the size and scope of the federal government, and there are some promising signs in the budget that President Trump has proposed.  He wants to completely eliminate 66 federal programs, and liberals are screaming bloody murder over this.

Of course Trump’s budget is “dead on arrival” in Congress because many among his own party do not support him.  Most Republicans campaign as conservatives but govern like Democrats, and it is high time that we held them accountable for that.  In 2018 we are going get Trump a whole bunch of friends in Congress, and a lot of those establishment Republicans that have been betraying conservatives for years are going to have to find a new line of work.

We simply cannot afford to keep sending the same cast of characters back to Washington time after time.  Just look at the debacle that the effort to repeal Obamacare has become.  According to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, getting any sort of bill through the Senate is going to be extremely challenging
Referring to behind-the-scenes work among Senate Republicans on a healthcare bill, McConnell said, “I don’t know how we get to 50 (votes) at the moment. But that’s the goal.”
Under a scenario of gathering the votes needed for passage in the 100-seat chamber, Republican Vice President Mike Pence would be called upon to cast any potential tie-breaking Senate vote.
McConnell opened the interview by saying, “There’s not a whole lot of news to be made on healthcare.” He declined to provide any timetable for producing even a draft bill to show to rank-and-file Republican senators and gauge their support.
And yet somehow when Obama was in office the Republicans in the House and the Senate were able to easily pass a bill to repeal Obamacare and get it to Obama’s desk.

Why can’t they get that exact same bill to Trump’s desk?

We definitely need to “drain the swamp” in D.C., and we can start with Congress.
But the alliance between big money and big government is going to be hard to defeat, and so if we want our country back we are going to have to fight harder than we have ever fought before.

FULL TEXT OF PRESIDENT TRUMP'S SPEECH:

Thank you, Prime Minister Netanyahu. I want to thank you and Sara for hosting us for what has been an unforgettable visit to this very special land. I also want to thank Chairman Itzik Molko, Acting Director Ayellet Shilloh-Tamir, and Chief Operating Officer Dalia Lazar, for hosting us today in this incredible museum. And thank you, Ambassador and Mrs. Friedman for joining us, along with a number of very good friends who have come from our country to yours as we reaffirm the unshakeable bond between the United States and Israel.
I want to begin my remarks today by sending the thoughts and prayers of the entire American People to the victims of the terrorist attack in Manchester, in the United Kingdom, and our condolences to the many families who lost their loved ones.  Dozens of innocent people and beautiful young children were savagely murdered in this heinous attack upon humanity.  I repeat again that we must drive out the terrorists and the extremists from our midst, obliterate this evil ideology, and protect and defend our citizens.  All civilized nations must be united in this effort.  This trip is focused on that goal: bringing nations together around the goal of defeating the terrorism that threatens the world and crushing the hateful ideology that drives it so hard, and seems to be driving it so fast.
It is a privilege to stand here in this national museum, in the ancient city of Jerusalem, to address the Israeli people – and all people in the Middle East who yearn for security, prosperity, and peace.
Jerusalem is a sacred city. Its beauty, splendor, and heritage are like no other place on earth. What a heritage. The ties of the Jewish people to this Holy Land are ancient and eternal. They date back thousands of years, including the reign of King David whose star now flies proudly on Israel's white and blue flag.
Yesterday, I visited the Western Wall, and marveled at the monument to God's presence and man's perseverance – I was humbled to place my hand upon the wall and to pray in that holy space for wisdom from God.
I also visited and prayed at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, a site revered by Christians throughout the world. I laid a wreath at Yad Vashem, honoring, remembering, and mourning the 6 million Jews who were murdered in the Holocaust. I pledged there what I pledge again to those here today: NEVER AGAIN.
Israel is a testament to the unbreakable spirit of the Jewish people.  From all parts of this great country, one message resounds: and that is the message of hope.
Down through the ages, the Jewish people have suffered persecution, oppression and even those who have sought their destruction.  But, through it all, they have endured – and they have thrived.
I stand in awe of the accomplishments of the Jewish People, and I make this promise to you: My Administration will always stand with Israel.
Through your hardships, you have created one of the most abundant lands in the world. A land that is rich not only in history, culture, and opportunity, but especially in spirit.
This museum where we are gathered today tells the story of that spirit - from the two Holy Temples, to the glorious heights of Masada, we see an incredible story of faith and perseverance. That faith is what inspired Jews to believe in their destiny, to overcome their despair, and to build here a future that others dared not to dream.
In Israel, not only are Jews free to till the soil, teach their children, and pray to God in the ancient land of their forefathers. But Muslims, Christians, and people of all faiths, are free to live and worship according to their conscience and to follow their dreams.
Today, gathered with friends, I call upon all people – Jews, Christians, Muslims, and every faith, tribe, and creed – to draw inspiration from this ancient city, to set aside our sectarian differences, to overcome oppression and hatred, and to give all children the freedom and hope and dignity written into our souls.
Earlier this week, I spoke at a historic summit in Saudi Arabia. There, I urged our friends in the Muslim world to join us in creating stability, safety and security. I was deeply encouraged by the desire of many leaders to join us in cooperation toward these shared and vital goals. Conflict cannot continue forever – the only question is when nations will decide that they have had enough.
That historic summit represents a new opportunity for people throughout the Middle East to overcome sectarian and religious divisions to extinguish the fires of extremism, and find common ground and shared responsibility in making the future of this region.  Change must come from within.
No mother or father wants their children to grow up in a world where terrorists roam free, schoolchildren are murdered, and their loved ones are taken. No child is born with prejudice in their heart. No one should teach young boys and girls to hate and kill.
And no civilized nation can tolerate the massacre of innocents with chemical weapons.
My message to that summit was the same message I have for you: We must build a coalition of partners who share the aim of stamping out extremism and violence – and providing our children a peaceful and hopeful future.
But a hopeful future for children in the Middle East requires the world to fully recognize the vital role of the state of Israel.
And, on behalf of the United States, we pledge to stand by you and defend our shared values so that together we can defeat terrorism and create safety for all of God's children.
Israelis have experienced firsthand the hatred and terror of radical violence. Israelis are murdered by terrorists wielding knives and bombs. Hamas and Hezbollah launch rockets into Israeli communities where schoolchildren have to be trained to hear the sirens and run to bomb shelters. ISIS targets Jewish neighborhoods, synagogues, and storefronts. And Iran's leaders routinely call for Israel's destruction.  Not with Donald J. Trump.
Despite these challenges, Israel is thriving as a sovereign nation – and no international body should question the contributions Israel makes to the region.
Today, let us pray for that peace – and for a more hopeful future across the Middle East.
There are those who present a false choice.  They say that we must choose between supporting Israel and supporting Arab and Muslim nations in the region.  That is completely wrong.  All decent people want to live in peace, and all humanity is threatened by the evils of terrorism.  Diverse nations can unite around the goal of protecting innocent life, upholding human dignity, and promoting peace and stability in the region.  My Administration is committed to pursuing such a coalition, and we have already made substantial progress during this trip.
We know, for instance, that both Israelis and Palestinians seek lives of hope for their children.  And we know that peace is possible if we put aside the pain and disagreements of the past and commit together to finally resolving this crisis which has dragged on for nearly half a century.
As I have repeatedly said, I am personally committed to helping Israelis and Palestinians achieve a peace agreement, and I had a meeting this morning with President Mahmoud Abbas and I can tell you that the Palestinians are ready to reach for peace – and, from my meeting with my friend Benjamin Netanyahu, I can tell you Israelis are ready to reach for peace as well.
Making peace will not be easy.  We all know that.  Both sides will face tough decisions. But with determination, compromise, and the belief that peace is possible, Israelis and Palestinians can make a deal.  But even as we work toward peace, we will build strength to defend our nations.
The United States is firmly committed to keeping Iran from developing a nuclear weapon and halting their support of terrorists and militias that are causing so much suffering and chaos throughout the Middle East.
America's security partnership with Israel is stronger than ever – including the Iron Dome missile defense program, which has been keeping the Israeli people safe from short-range rockets launched by Hezbollah and Hamas. And David's sling which guards against long-range missiles. It is my hope that someday very soon Israeli children will never need to rush towards shelter, as sirens ring out.
Finally, the United States is proud that Israeli Air Force pilots are flying new American F-35 planes to defend their nation, and it was wonderful to see these mighty aircraft in the skies over Israel recently as you celebrated the 69th anniversary of Israel's independence.
But even as we strengthen our partnership in practice, let us always remember our highest ideals – let us never forget that the bond between our two nations is woven together in the hearts of our people – and their love of freedom, hope, and dignity for every man and every woman.
Let us dream of a future where Jewish, Muslim and Christian children can grow up together and live together in trust, harmony, tolerance and respect.
The values practiced in Israel have inspired millions all across the world.
The conviction of Theodor Herzl rings true today: "whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind."
As we stand in Jerusalem, we see pilgrims of all faiths coming to this land to walk on this hallowed ground.
Jews place the prayers from their hearts in the stone blocks of the Western Wall.
Christians pray in the pews of an ancient church.
Muslims answer the call to prayer at their holy sites.
This city, like no other place in the world, reveals the longing of the human heart – to know and worship God.
Jerusalem stands as a reminder that life can flourish against any odds.
When we look around this city, and we see people of all faiths engaged in reverent worship, and school children learning side-by-side, and men and women lifting up the needy and forgotten, we see that God's promise of healing has brought goodness to so many lives. We see that the people of this land had the courage to overcome the oppression and injustice of the past – and to live in the freedom God intends for every person on this earth.
Today, in Jerusalem, we pray and we hope that children around the world will soon be able to live without fear, to dream without limits, and to prosper without violence. I ask this land of promise to join with me to fight our common enemies, to pursue our shared values, and to protect the dignity of every child of God.
Thank you. God bless you. God bless the State of Israel. And God bless the United States.
