When President Trump said you’ve made the UN Ambassadorship, “a more glamorous position than it was two years ago,” that was an understatement. You have been the most vocal, influential, effective, bold, passionate UN Ambassador for the United States in history.

You confronted the hypocrisy in the UN, how they have sheltered terrorists and attacked those who fight terrorism, how they have singled out Israel, and how they have given so many abusive nations a pass—like Russia and China.

You led the effort to get the US out of the oxymoronic UN Human Rights Council, because they have “shown bias against Israel and a willingness to allow notorious human rights abusers as members.” You looked them squarely in the eye and called them out on their hypocrisy.

Under your leadership, the US is no longer leading from behind, as President Obama used to say. We are leading by example and are more concerned about being right, than about whom we might be offending. The world is a safer place because of you. ISIS has lost all of their territory. Iran is reeling economically because the US pulled out of the lopsided Iran Nuke Deal. We might even work out a deal with North Korea. You represented our position to the U.N. with eloquence and clarity. You are a rock star!

I have to admit: my heart skipped a beat last night as I checked the news while flying home to Israel from Katmandu, to find out that you were stepping down. You were my 2024 hopeful. You have been the most popular politician in the US during a time when very few politicians are respected or trusted. Even CNN said,

“American voters of different partisan stripes don’t agree on much nowadays, but they can agree on this: most of them approve of US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley.”

With a 63% approval rating, you top them all. Even among Democrats, you are just as popular as Chuck and Nancy, with a 55% approving tour job. Again, these democrats that you have won over!

Under your leadership, in regards to the nation of Israel:

Jerusalem was recognized as the capital of Israel.
The US embassy was moved to Jerusalem.
Palestinian aid was slashed because of the uncovering of continued payments from the Palestinian leadership to families of terrorists—making terrorism a heroic way to die and ensure ongoing provision for your family.
UNRWA, the agency that oversees Palestinian refugees, was confronted with the US pulling their $360 million per year donation until the UN changes the number of refugees from the fictitious five million to 500,000.
As mentioned, you removed the US from the UN (lack of) Human Rights Council because of the oppressive nations like Cuba, Iran, China, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela that serve on it.
You boldly told CBN that the Western Wall of the Temple Mount belonged to Israel. As a Christian, you said it is your faith in Jesus that guides your support of Israel. You even went to the Western Wall to pray, as an exclamation point.
You rightly called the UN the “global epicenter of anti-Semitism.”

You have credit in your heavenly account. Genesis 12:3 say that God would bless the one who blesses Abraham (and His descendants). Blessing is surely coming your way, as God will always keep His word!

You spoke truth to power!

What I said shocked the people at the UN, but I’ll say it again because it’s the truth. Israel has acted with more restraint than just about any country would under those same conditions.”

John Hagee’s powerful organization, Citizens United for Israel, recently gave you the Defender of Israel Award for “the one person in America that we feel has done the most to defend and protect Israel.”

Never has a UN Ambassador shocked the world by his/her departure. If Samantha Power or Susan Rice before her resigned, the world would have hardly noticed. But everyone knows your name. Accolades and good wishes pour in from around the world. “Thank you for your support, which led to a change in Israel’s status in the UN,” said Danny Danon, your Israel counterpart. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu tweeted:

Thank you Amb. Haley for standing for the truth and exposing hypocrisy at the UN. Just as the people of Israel are grateful for the rock solid support @POTUS Trump has provided Israel in the Oval Office, we are grateful for the rock solid support you’ve provided Israel at the UN.

Nikki, you will be missed at the UN, but I pray your voice will still be heard and, hopefully, you will come back to serve the US and continue to be a friend of Israel. God bless you, Ambassador Nikki Haley!

Having now experienced the tail-end of two hurricanes hitting the Carolinas in the past few weeks, one realizes that turbulence, either in the natural or spiritual, can be most troubling to the soul. And for many, it touches the spirit and body in extreme measures. If the fierce wind doesn’t blow down the decades-old tree onto your house, there is a good chance that the high tide or rising, overflowing river will take down foundations built long ago.

When it comes to the forces of weather, mankind continues to remain at the Lord’s mercy.

On the same day that Hurricane Michael was striking the Florida panhandle with tremendous, destructive force, the USA stock market was being hit with a substantial downturn. Grant it, record marks had been reached over 15 times this year, but those counting on life-long investments and golden year eggs still face uncertainty in things they really can’t control.

Often there seem to be just too many things that are out of our hands. Think as we might in our own understanding, most often our simple lack of discernment and misdirection gets us nowhere or gets us going down the wrong road. (And it isn’t always the GPS’s fault.) And as for me, I am fine with that. Because even in the midst of my finite wisdom, my lack in controlling things, my minute understanding in making it all good – it always points me back to the fact that I am not a god. But I do know the One that is. So to Him, the Lord of all, I continually turn for godly guidance, godly wisdom, and blessed certainty in taking the right path.

While even in the midst of hurricanes, stock market failings, relationship troubles - all of which come with the need to hang on and get through it – trust in the Lord is a must in these end times. Nothing else can or will sustain us in the turbulent days ahead.

As I head for another journey to the Middle East, which has seen its years of turbulence, war, and strife among the nations, I look forward to being in the midst of the land of Israel, which has the assurance from Scripture of the hand of the Lord God Almighty upon them, covering over His people.

"The poor and needy seek water, but there is none,

Their tongues fail for thirst.

I, the Lord, will hear them;

I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.

I will open rivers in desolate heights,

And fountains in the midst of the valleys;

I will make the wilderness a pool of water,

And the dry land springs of water.

I will plant in the wilderness the cedar and the acacia tree,

The myrtle and the oil tree;

I will set in the desert the cypress tree and the pine

And the box tree together,

That they may see and know,

And consider and understand together,

That the hand of the Lord has done this,

And the Holy One of Israel has created it.

This is a promise to the Jewish people, and also to those of us who call upon the Name of the Lord Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah.

We Witnessed The 3rd Largest Point Crash In Stock Market History On The Same Day That The 3rd Most Powerful Hurricane To Ever Hit The U.S. Made Landfall

If you don’t believe in “coincidences”, what are we supposed to make of this? On Wednesday, the 3rd most powerful hurricane to ever hit the United States made landfall in the Florida panhandle. Entire communities were absolutely shredded as Hurricane Michael came ashore with sustained winds of 155 miles per hour. You can find the entire article that I just posted about this massive storm right here.

In this article, I am going to focus on what just happened on Wall Street.

At the exact same time that Hurricane Michael was causing chaos in the Southeast, an October stock market crash was causing havoc in the Northeast. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 831 points, which was the 3rd largest single day point crash in stock market history. Of course it isn’t as if we hadn’t been repeatedly warned that this was coming, and the truth is that it looks like this is only the start of the financial shaking.

In fact, international financial markets are in a state of chaos as I write this article. Asian markets are a sea of red, and at this moment Dow futures are way down.

So it appears likely that Wednesday’s nightmare may extend into Thursday as well.
But before we look ahead too much, let’s talk about the utter carnage that we just witnessed.
According to Bloomberg, the 500 wealthiest people in the world lost 99 billion dollars on Wednesday…

Plunging global markets lopped $99 billion from the fortunes of the world’s 500 wealthiest people on Wednesday, the year’s second-steepest one-day drop for the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Amazon.com Inc. founder Jeff Bezos lost $9.1 billion, the most of anyone on the index, as shares of the online retailer fell the most in more than two years. The plunge lowered Bezos’s net worth to $145.2 billion, its lowest since July.

Can you imagine losing that much money on a single day?

The Dow Jones Industrial Average has now fallen for four out of the last five trading sessions, and for the month as a whole all three of the major indexes are way down…

Stocks have fallen sharply this month. For October, the S&P 500 and the Dow are down more than 4.4 percent and 3.3 percent, respectively. The Nasdaq, meanwhile, has lost more than 7.5 percent.

Tech stocks are being hit particularly hard. In fact, tech stocks just had their worst day in more than seven years…

Technology stocks got clobbered on Wednesday, suffering their worst day in more than seven years, as concerns over rising interest rates punished the overall market, particularly shares of companies that have been the best performers.
The S&P 500 Information Technology Index closed at $1,220.62, down 4.8 percent, marking the biggest decline since August 18, 2011, when the index dropped 5.3 percent. All 65 members of the index fell.

At this point, 330 out of the 505 stocks that make up the S&P 500 are already more than 10 percent below their 52-week highs.

That means that about two-thirds of all S&P 500 stocks are officially in correction territory.
And 140 of those stocks are already down more than 20 percent from their 52-week highs, and that means that they are officially in bear market territory.

So why is this happening?
Many of the “experts” are pointing to the dramatic rise in interest rates…

Nervousness had been building for days on Wall Street. The catalyst was the recent spike in the yield on a closely watched government bond to a seven-year high.

The 10-year Treasury note — whose key rate impacts the pricing on things ranging from fixed-rate mortgages to stocks to virtually every financial asset on the planet — recently climbed above 3.25 percent for the first time since May 2011. And when you add the threat of higher borrowing costs on things like houses and cars and corporate debt to the economic obstacles caused by the U.S. trade war with China, all it takes is a whiff of weakness to set a major sell-off in motion.

A week ago, I warned my readers that rapidly rising rates could spark a market sell-off, and now it is happening with a ferocity that is absolutely breathtaking.

Needless to say, President Trump was not thrilled by the market crash on Wednesday, and he is pointing the blame at the Federal Reserve…

President Donald Trump slammed the Federal Reserve as “going loco” for its interest-rate increases this year in comments hours after the worst U.S. stock market sell-off since February.
Trump said in a telephone interview on Fox News late Wednesday night the market plunge wasn’t because of his trade conflict with China: “That wasn’t it. The problem I have is with the Fed,” he said. “The Fed is going wild. They’re raising interest rates and it’s ridiculous.”
“That’s not the problem,” he said of the trade standoff. “The problem in my opinion is the fed,” he added. “The fed is going loco.”

I love it.

I absolutely love it.

Could it be possible that we will soon see supporters chant “end the Fed” at Trump rallies?
No president has ever openly criticized the Federal Reserve like this, and I greatly applaud Trump for doing so.

And he is precisely correct – the Federal Reserve is the problem.

Nobody has more power over the performance of the U.S. economy than the Federal Reserve does, and the only way that our long-term economic and financial problems will ever be fixed is if the Federal Reserve is shut down.

So I hope that President Trump’s feud with the Federal Reserve gets as heated as possible. I hope that the Federal Reserve becomes a central issue during the 2020 presidential election, and I hope that every Trump supporter in the entire country will urge Trump to make a promise to shut down the Federal Reserve.

The Federal Reserve is a deeply insidious system that has turned America into a nation of debt slaves, and it is definitely time to end that sick and twisted debt-based system and return this nation to a solid financial foundation.

Her worship touches the hearts of Christians around the globe in all circumstances.

On Saturday, she took her music behind bars.

"Yesterday was one so unexpected. It was a day that was more than I can articulate. It was a day my eyes had never seen and will never be able to unsee. We sang songs with inmates whose voices carried deeper in to our hearts than the echo of a microphone will ever release. I saw hope in the face of the hopeless, joy in the wake of sorrow, wealth in the gap of depravity, and life in the midst of death. These people have stories, and they also have souls. I watched heaven befriend those who are often forgotten. With each day that passes, may I never take for granted what it is to walk around as a free man. I held a bottle of cold coffee upon pulling out of Statesville Correctional Prison. My hand had never remembered that bottle being so cold..." Daigle posted to Facebook.

Eddie James Brings the Gospel to the Holy Land Through Powerful Worship

Internationally renowned worship artist Eddie James is in Israel this week on a mission to bring the

gospel to the Holy Land.

"Several times a year we take our team to the nations!" James said in an Instagram post. "We bring the

gospel to the broken all over the world!"

James and his team are there to walk in the footsteps of Jesus and participate in several worship events,

including the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem. Thousands of Christians from around the world

gathered with Jewish and Christian leaders at the Haas Promenade overlooking the Old City of

Jerusalem.

James led the worship with Misty Edwards as thousands sang, danced, and celebrated the God of the

Bible.

The team did outreach around the country and occasionally broke out into spontaneous worship at holy

sites. One video of James and his team singing "Holy Spirit" in the place believed to be the upper room

where Pentecost took place went viral. It hit well over 1 million views on Facebook.

"Although we had a bit of opposition it was so CRAZY AWESOME!!" James said in an Instagram

post.

James was also there to participate in Awake Jerusalem, a 3-day event that focuses on gathering

Christians to worship God in Israel.

One video shows hundreds of believers singing and worshiping in Jerusalem.

This is one of several trips James has taken to spread the gospel through praise and worship in Israel.
