Dear Renewed Ones:

On Sunday morning, Pam (my wife) sent this picture to me from the Israel Prayer Garden. As you can see, a heavy dew had settled (see pic just below). This reminded me of a dream I had and the resulting revelation the Lord showed me (recorded in Possessing Your Inheritance). In this "Dew" Time, I am declaring your eyes are open to the next manifestation of His glory that is settling around us.
It's "Dew" Time
"For the seed shall be prosperous, the vine shall give its fruit, the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew—I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these." (Zech. 8:12)

I once had a dream in which I was walking in a thick, blue mist. I asked the Lord what the mist was. I sensed the Lord saying, "It is dew. You have entered a new season; it is 'dew' time." Knowing that the color blue signifies truth in the Word of God, I realized God was trying to release a revelation of truth for today. (Photo via Pam and Chuck Pierce)
I then began to study "dew," and I believe the Lord revealed many correlations between the effects of dew on the earth and how He desires to move us to our next manifestation of His glory:
1. Dew Renews the Face of the Earth
During the night when dew falls on the earth, vegetation is nourished and grows. Without dew, dryness and desolation can set in, greatly inhibiting the growth process. The same is true of renewal in the Lord. We are being renewed day-by-day, which suggests that an ongoing renovation, restoration and transformation is happening in our hearts and lives. Titus 3:5 says, "According to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit."Just as dew regenerates and renews the earth, so the Holy Spirit regenerates and renews us.
The dew of renewal also brings a complete change of heart. The dew, though only a fine mist, is often enough to soften hard and otherwise barren ground. This is the same concept as the new wineskin, softened with oil. The Holy Spirit, God's restorative agent on this earth, can transform and renew through the quiet spiritual soaking of the dew of renewal. He needs only our cooperation, through obedient and submissive relationship with Him, to soak us afresh with the dew of renewal.
2. Heavenly Dew Provides Strength to Move Forward
Dew is released when all is still. It does not gather when there is heat or wind. When the temperature falls, the air comes to a point of rest, then the dew can begin to cover the earth. Rest occurs when we enter into the perfect will of God. If we will get still before the Lord, we will receive the revelation and strategy to move forward out of the hassles, anxieties and warfare that have sapped our strength in the past season.
The opposite of stillness is haste. Haste leads to poverty and lost inheritance because we misunderstand or are not willing to wait for God's strategy for our next step forward. "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint" (Isa. 40:31). Isaiah 30:15 says, "In quietness and confidence shall be your strength."
"Our seasons, like the dew, are a process of moving from glory to glory."
As we get quiet and rest before the Lord, we are in a much better position to hear and understand the strategy of our next step. In the process, His dew of refreshing can fall on our lives and bring new levels of strength that will move us forward.
3. The Dew of the Holy Spirit Imparts Overcoming Power
"His heavens shall also drop dew.... Your enemies shall submit to you, and you shall tread down their high places" (Deut. 33:28-29). By appropriating the power of God through the Holy Spirit (which in this passage is likened to dew), we have the authority to dethrone the enemy's plan to keep us from spiritual life and wholeness. High places in the Bible are often linked with places of sin and iniquity; places of idolatrous altars. We all have or have had high places in our lives filled with sin and iniquity, sometimes even passed down to us through the generations.
The dew of the Lord, used here as a picture of washing us clean, gives us the power to tread down the high places and defeat old enemies living there. This overcoming power allows God to break our conformity to the standards of this world, and renew our minds. He is able to replace old deceptions that have caused us to fail in the past with a new belief system that will bring us to success!
Can't You Talk Louder, God?
4. The Refreshing Dew of the Lord Uncovers New Supply and Provision
"'Therefore may God give you of the dew of Heaven, of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and wine.' ...Then Isaac his father answered and said to him: 'Behold, your dwelling shall be of the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of Heaven from above'" (Gen. 27:28, 39). When Isaac blessed Jacob, he equated the dew of Heaven to the material prosperity that Jacob would receive.
Like the rain, dew was regarded in Biblical times as God's gift, bringing good harvest and providing food. As the Israelites wandered in the wilderness, we find that God supplied their needs each night as the dew fell. "Now the manna was like coriander seed, and its color like the color of bdellium. The people went about and gathered it, ground it on millstones or beat it in the mortar, cooked it in pans, and made cakes of it; and its taste was like the taste of pastry prepared with oil. And when the dew fell on the camp in the night, the manna fell on it"(Num. 11:7-9).
Dew, therefore, came to symbolize supply and provision, new every morning. As we follow the Lord's leading, His dew will also rain down new supply and provision in our lives, just as it did for the children of Israel. (Photo via picjumbo)
5. The Favor of God is "Like Dew on the Grass" (Prov. 19:12)
Favor means pleasure, desire, delight, to be pleased with or favorable toward something. When God is pleased with us, His favor rests on us. Favor is very similar to grace and to glory. When we respond to the sovereign hand of God, He begins to drop down on us His favor. His favor can cause us to accomplish things on the earth and give us access to places that we did not previously have access to.
The opposite of favor is reproach, which means to find fault with, blame, criticize, disapprove of or discredit. As God's favor comes upon us, He removes condemnation, judgmentalism, failure, mistakes from the past—places where the enemy has brought reproaches into our lives. We exchange disapproval for favor.
God is raising up an obedient people who are responding to His heart. As we obey Him in faith (for without faith it is impossible to please God or allow His favor to come on us), we will begin to feel His favor dropping like dew from Heaven.
6. Dew is Not Permanent
"It is dew. You have entered a new season; it is 'dew' time."
Dew falls during the night season when all is quiet and calm. As soon as the new morning breaks, however, the dew begins to evaporate. Our seasons, like the dew, are a process of moving from glory to glory. We cannot settle into all that the dew brings and expect it to last beyond the time God would allow.
The children of Israel received just enough manna for one day. The earth receives just enough dew to be refreshed for a short season. In the same way, we cannot allow ourselves to settle into our current state of glory. If we do, we will find that God is moving in a new way, or interrupting us with a circumstance, problem or even a vision that we can't control or engineer with our present understanding.
We need to move to our next place of glory. For that we must receive new revelation from God. If you are in a place of confusion, listen for God's voice to receive the necessary instructions that will bring new order to your life and circumstances. Don't fear changes! His glory falls like dew. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

Proper Values ✡ "A Lover Of Money Never Has His Fill" - Israel365

A lover of money never has his fill of money, nor a lover of wealth his fill of income. That too is futile
Ecclesiastes 5:9 (The Israel Bible™)

אֹהֵב כֶּסֶף לֹא־יִשְׂבַּע כֶּסֶף וּמִי־אֹהֵב בֶּהָמוֹן לֹא תְבוּאָה גַּם־זֶה הָבֶל

Proper Values

The word hevel (הבל), ‘futile,’ appears many times throughout Ecclesiastes as a description of the pursuit of various physical pleasures. Although the word is translated as ‘futile,’ it literally means ‘vapor’. Vapor has the power to distort what a person sees. For example, the hot air rising from desert sands creates the mirage of an oasis. In this verse, the author observes that amassing wealth is “hevel.” More than just futile, the pursuit of wealth is similar to vapor, since it has the power to distort a person’s reality and values. King Solomon warns not to pursue wealth, because one who does so will never be satisfied. Keep the inspiration flowing by order the Israel365 Daily Inspirations devotional.

Don’t Give Up - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

Don’t Give Up
Now Think On This

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:12-13, NKJV)

Cross country runners face it, approaching, at last, the long, steep hill climb to complete the race. Boxers in the 7th round feel it when exhaustion burns in their tightening arm muscles. Wrestlers going into the third period of a fierce competition, against a ruthless opponent, know it, and must call up the strength within them to get to the final bell and not get pinned, but get the win.

They can’t quit. They must not give up, even moments before when that prized victory shout is about to happen, while slightly, even so slightly, they consider that it might not come.

A young mother, carrying the ever growing new life within, holds on to make it to the end of the nine long months, hoping, but yet a bit uncertain, if all will come out right, with their child having the ten fingers and the ten toes that will be just perfect.

Even the pastor of 12 years, having given as much as he thought he had to give out, must not stop and give up, nor give in. He must still call upon the name of the Lord, the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and the Omega. He must keep looking to the One who started him on this journey, and not let discouragement and lack of results end the still young man’s initial dream.

We all will face the temptation to call it quits, to end what was started, having begun with so many large expectations, only to look back and think it will never, ever happen. Those big plans and deep desires, instilled years before, seem to be fading away, with the sun setting once again, ending the day the way it began.

Through it all, we must not quit. We must not let the daily grind wear us down, wring us out, or leave us laying on the side of the road. Despair, hopelessness, exhaustion, nor failed dreams must not keep us from that which our Lord Jesus has called us to. With the power of the Holy Spirit working within us, we can fight the good fight, rise to the call on our lives, and finish that which He has started.

How? With His ever-present grace, His unending mercy, and through His love which is continually poured out on us His beloved. That is how we can do it. That is who we are because that is Who He made us to be.

Whether you are 18, going on 37, or have reached the “60 and older” plateau of life, we can, we must, we will be continually assured that the One who saved us, redeemed us, called us into His life to share with us, will keep us and deliver us to the glory that awaits us at the end.

We cannot do it on our own, but He can and will do that which He has planned and purposed for us. His sure promises of fulfilling those deep desires, the heavenly hopes, the daily dreams that He Himself put within us at the beginning of time, will come to pass. Of this, I am certain, for He truly is the Faithful God we serve.

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.” (Revelations 19:11-12, NASU)

Our Lord is not sitting upon His throne, just watching to see if we are going to make it. He is actively involved, certain of the beginning and the end, and will ride in victory once His eternal plan is completed. And through it all, He is protecting, directing, establishing and fulfilling His will in each of our lives, bringing encouragement and certainty as we keep our eyes fixed on Him.

This we can be assured of. For the Bible tells us so.

Don’t give up. Don’t quit before the light of day comes forth. Keep pressing on and grab hold of the beautiful plan He has for our lives. It may be tough at times, but the end is going to be worth it all.

Shalom and ahava (peace and love in Hebrew).

I Am Calling You to Rest in Me by Bill Yount

Identity Network 10.24.18
Years ago, my ministry almost destroyed me. I fell in love with it more than with the Lord.

Our ministries, if we are not careful, can be our number 1 enemy! It happens so innocently, for we love what God has called us to do.

The Lord began to hinder my ministry by closing doors and locking the windows. Invitations ceased, and I found myself alone with my family and God. For about three months, I was shut in with God. I discovered if you slow down and spend time with Him, you won't lose your ministry unless it was yours. If it's God's ministry, it will continue without you.

After three months alone with God, I saw my ministry take off like never before. All I did was spend time with Him. One day as I felt His loving arms around me, I sensed the Lord was so delighted to just have me be with Him without doing anything for Him. He was actually thrilled with my presence, and I discovered that all of mankind was created to be with Him on earth, not just in heaven.

As He embraced me for those three months, there was a moment when I heard Him say to the angels, "Take this son's ministry and take it to the four corners of the earth, for he is thrilling Me!" I believe there are times when we should stop what we are doing long enough to find out if God is still calling us in the same direction that He did years ago.

Pay Attention to the Irises

Below is one of the revelations I received during the time spent with Him. He is calling me once again to slow down and have a season of rest in Him. This time He said, "Son, as you rest in Me, you will reap where you have not sown." Maybe He is calling you also to take a break so you don't fall apart.

One morning during a three-month sabbatical, I was walking to my prayer room passing by our bay window that was filled with beautiful flowers called irises. They were in full bloom, shouting a grand finale of colors and majesty. As I walked past them, I heard the Lord whisper, "Bill, I want you to sit down and behold the flowers." As I did, I found myself mesmerized by their beauty and I began to repeat their name out loud: "Iris, Iris, Iris." Then out came, "I rest!"

It's the first time a flower ever preached to me. I kept gazing upon the flowers' glory and studied them. I couldn't find one flower that looked like it was struggling. I couldn't find one flower that looked like it was worried. Have you ever seen a flower that looked worried (unless you don't water it)? These flowers were just being and growing into what God had called them to be with no struggle, no sweat and no worry. They looked like they were rejoicing.

The Lord spoke through those irises, saying, "Bill, I am calling you to rest in Me. As you rest in Me, you will naturally grow into all that I've called you to be. There is a rest for them who believe. You not only must believe in Me, but believe Me to bring to pass what I have spoken to you. I am the faithful one who has called you, who will also do it. Only believe."
