“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:12-13, NKJV)

Cross country runners face it, approaching, at last, the long, steep hill climb to complete the race. Boxers in the 7^th round feel it when exhaustion burns in their tightening arm muscles. Wrestlers going into the third period of a fierce competition, against a ruthless opponent, know it, and must call up the strength within them to get to the final bell and not get pinned, but get the win.

They can’t quit. They must not give up, even moments before when that prized victory shout is about to happen, while slightly, even so slightly, they consider that it might not come.

A young mother, carrying the ever growing new life within, holds on to make it to the end of the nine long months, hoping, but yet a bit uncertain, if all will come out right, with their child having the ten fingers and the ten toes that will be just perfect.

Even the pastor of 12 years, having given as much as he thought he had to give out, must not stop and give up, nor give in. He must still call upon the name of the Lord, the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and the Omega. He must keep looking to the One who started him on this journey, and not let discouragement and lack of results end the still young man’s initial dream.

We all will face the temptation to call it quits, to end what was started, having begun with so many large expectations, only to look back and think it will never, ever happen. Those big plans and deep desires, instilled years before, seem to be fading away, with the sun setting once again, ending the day the way it began.

Through it all, we must not quit. We must not let the daily grind wear us down, wring us out, or leave us laying on the side of the road. Despair, hopelessness, exhaustion, nor failed dreams must not keep us from that which our Lord Jesus has called us to. With the power of the Holy Spirit working within us, we can fight the good fight, rise to the call on our lives, and finish that which He has started.

How? With His ever-present grace, His unending mercy, and through His love which is continually poured out on us His beloved. That is how we can do it. That is who we are because that is Who He made us to be.

Whether you are 18, going on 37, or have reached the “60 and older” plateau of life, we can, we must, we will be continually assured that the One who saved us, redeemed us, called us into His life to share with us, will keep us and deliver us to the glory that awaits us at the end.

We cannot do it on our own, but He can and will do that which He has planned and purposed for us. His sure promises of fulfilling those deep desires, the heavenly hopes, the daily dreams that He Himself put within us at the beginning of time, will come to pass. Of this, I am certain, for He truly is the Faithful God we serve.

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.” (Revelations 19:11-12, NASU)

Our Lord is not sitting upon His throne, just watching to see if we are going to make it. He is actively involved, certain of the beginning and the end, and will ride in victory once His eternal plan is completed. And through it all, He is protecting, directing, establishing and fulfilling His will in each of our lives, bringing encouragement and certainty as we keep our eyes fixed on Him.

This we can be assured of. For the Bible tells us so.

Don’t give up. Don’t quit before the light of day comes forth. Keep pressing on and grab hold of the beautiful plan He has for our lives. It may be tough at times, but the end is going to be worth it all.

The Lord is saying to me that there's some of you who have pressed and pressed to see the doors open for you, but it just seems like they just won't get open.

I feel from the Lord to tell you, don't be discouraged. God is going to open doors for you that no man can shut. Don't let the enemy come in and rob your joy. Don't let the enemy come in and tell you it's never gonna happen.

For the Lord would say, "Do not be discouraged, because I am working behind the scenes to do things you can't know. I am moving chess pieces, as it were, behind the scenes so you can have a checkmate so you can do what you need to do—for your business, for your schooling, for your house and for your dreams."

The Lord says, "I am a dream maker." God is going to release a new ability to dream. It's time to dream again.

Acceleration is falling in unexpected places. The Lord is changing things suddenly. The Lord is rearranging and there are divine interruptions happening in the lives of God's people at such a pace, unlike anything I have ever seen. The suddenlies of God are truly upon us.

 

The enemy knows these suddenlies are upon us and they are being birthed right now and he is attempting to bring confusion upon the promise, but he will not succeed for the Lord has decreed that acceleration is falling in unexpected places.

 

A sudden unveiling has been happening as the Lord unveils next steps and what He has been planning and the increase that is upon God's people. God truly is releasing the double portion right now. God's people have walked through so much trouble and trial, but the Lord is now releasing double blessing. He is increasing expectancy in His people as they draw close to Him for what He is doing. Discouragement and confusion is attempting to steal the promise, but I decree over you tonight in Jesus name, that as you continue to hold His hand, trust and obey, your promise will not be aborted. The enemy is fighting significant promises right now and one way is through confusion and discouragement, but another way I saw him attempting to abort the promise is by whispering to God's people "That's not really God. That's your heart's desire" leaving many discouraged and despondent.

 

I heard the Lord say "DOUBLE BLESSING! DOUBLE BLESSING! DOUBLE BLESSING!"  You are going to move not only into hearts desires and promises fulfilled but there will be double blessing and there will be double confirmation. The Lord is confirming and will keep confirming His way, His plan, and this is a time where double portions of joy will be restored to you.

 

"When hope's dream seems to drag on and on, the delay can be depressing, but when at last your dream comes true, life's sweetness will satisfy your soul" Proverbs 13:12  (The Passion Translation)

 

Many of you have felt that dream drag on and on and the delay has been depressing, but God is taking your depression and sadness and He will satisfy your soul with the sweetness of the dream come true. The sweetness of the suddenly!!!!

 

Don't be afraid to throw yourself "all in" to the "unexpected places" that God is leading you into. Don't be afraid to trust Him. He is leading you into a place of greater sweetness and joy in the double portion. Many are surprised that the Lord is now saying, "Step in" to a dream they have been waiting for, for a long time, and I saw a waterfall of the revelation of His goodness being released upon them.

 

But the wonderful thing is, not only are you going to step into a dream fulfilled, but you are going to carry more, double!!!!

 

Winds of Acceleration Falling Upon the Rivers of Rest

 

The winds of acceleration are falling upon the rivers of rest. The Lord is bringing a deeper rest to many believers right now, as many are weary, discouraged and feeling empty. The Lord is shifting and moving things and He is making more room for His people to come into rest; heart rest, emotional and mental rest and physical rest. The Lord is "making room" and in that place of rest, the Lord is adding increase. Out of the place of rest, from the 'lying down in the rivers of rest', there will be greater fruitfulness, favor, increase and positioning. Don't fight the plan of God and the moving and shifting of God bringing rest. Don't fight the plan of God if He moves you from more "doing" to "being". The enemy is working hard in this season of acceleration to burn many out in busyness, anxiety, fear and discouragement, but the Lord is bringing rest. Friends, lean in. Rest your head upon His chest and continue to listen to His heart and you will hear His whisper that, "All is well" and you are not being delayed, you are actually moving into more than you ever imagined possible. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

 

May I Have this Dance?

 

I heard the Lord speaking over many "May I have this dance?" and it was an invitation into a level of intimacy, a deeper rhythm of His heart, a new song that they had never experienced before. The joy that bubbled up in the hearts of those who accepted His invitation was like the joy of the first moment they met Him, the moment of salvation. I saw Him recapturing hearts. Hearts that are weary, have lost passion, have lost hunger, where intimacy has been hindered, where the foxes of fear have come in and wrecked havoc upon the vineyard of intimacy with Him, there's a whole new world of intimacy with Him now opening up. A new invitation to know Him, move with Him, and encounter His heart, unlike anything they had ever seen. The fire of the first love was burning brighter than ever.

 

I saw specifically where disappointment had created a wall between them and Jesus, He was melting those walls away, and He was placing in their hearts as they danced a scroll of destiny. Upon this scroll were His words of truth and destiny. Where there had been great pain of disappointment, He was now releasing greater revelation of destiny and reconnection was taking place.

 

The Lord is extending His hand...

 

He is whispering, "May I have this dance?"

 

I encourage you to accept His invitation, and a whole new world of intimacy, a new song, a new dance, a new rhythm is about to open up before you. You will burn with love for Him stronger and deeper than you have ever experienced and the fire of His love that burns in His eyes for you will baptize you afresh.

“The end of something is better than its beginning, so the patient are better than the proud.” (Ecclesiastes 7:8, Complete Jewish Bible)

There are times the Lord will give me a word that I “hear” in my head, and I know He has something for me to share in writing. At other times I will ask Him for a word, and then He tells me. This time He gave me the words, “Only the beginning.”

Now I know that that is in the lyrics of the song Beginnings, sung by the band Chicago in the 1970’s. But I don’t think it has anything to do with that. I believe there is something else the Lord wants to speak at this time.

My sense is that there are some of us, myself included at times, who may think our “assignment”, whether it be on a job, in a particular situation we have been in for a period, or even near the completion of this life, is done. We get the feeling that it is over, the season has passed, and now it is time to move on. For some it may be we are wanting it over, out of discouragement or disappointment. We may really hope it is.

That may be true. That aspect of your life, or mine, may be done. But it does not mean that our long term purpose and plan of the Lord is over. It may be it is only the beginning of something new; the next challenge we are to face and be as a conqueror in and through it. We may be close to finishing the one assignment. We have gone through it in preparation for the next.

When I meditate on the ways of the Lord, and read of His actions in the many lives of the biblical characters, I find peace and hope that He fully knows the beginning and the end for each of us. As we put our trust in Him, we can be certain that what may have been seen as bad will prove in the end to be good.

The Word does say clearly, “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.” (Romans 8:28-30, NASU)

When I consider the works of His hands, such as how a mountain stream begins as a small trickle and gathers momentum as it works its way down the slope, I am confident of this. Those things which may seem unimportant at first, due to lack of size or notice, will one day be the full, finished product the Maker had in mind all along.

Look at how many times a large corporation “started off in the garage” of its founder.

Whether you are hoping to finish something now in your life, and glad it is almost over, or just beginning something new, be reassured that the Lord has promised to be with you every step along the way. In good and in bad, in sickness and in health, our Bridegroom will remain steadfast to see us through. He has promised to be there, from the beginning to the end.

As I started reading through Doug Addison's latest word for this month of December and going into the New Year...I started saying, "Wow!" Then I read some more and said, "Wow!" again and then again...you get the point.

If you ever needed an encouraging word that the Lord has not forgotten EVERYTHING you have walked through...this is that word!

I keep seeing storehouses in Heaven with our names on them. For every time that you have given, prayed or reached out to the Lord and have not seen a return or response—the answers to your requests were actually being placed into a storehouse in Heaven for you. There was never a time that God did not respond to your prayers. The fact that you did not see the answer come to Earth does not mean that He did not respond... Starting in December you are going to see your storehouse begin to open over you.

"December Prophetic Word: Your Storehouses Are Opening!"

Change of Season

The Lord is closing the books on your previous season of life. Do not focus on the past or how you feel right now. Many people are feeling as though they somehow missed the Lord or messed up.

The Lord is saying, "I have chosen you and your generation for a special working of My power. Do not worry about how it looks now or the details of how it will happen. When it is time, it will happen quickly."

Because many prophetic words have not come to pass and with the untimely passing of some major prophetic leaders, some people are being tempted to reject or despise the prophetic ministry. We still need to hear the voice of God like never before.

"The word of the Lord came to me: 'Son of man, what is this proverb you have in the land of Israel: 'The days go by and every vision comes to nothing'? Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to put an end to this proverb, and they will no longer quote it in Israel.' Say to them, 'The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled.'" Ezekiel 12:21-23 NIV

This is coming to pass right now. Many people have been discouraged and hopelessness has set in. But hear the words of the Lord: This is not a time to pull back but to move forward. Starting in March 2017 things are going to take a sudden turn as God is releasing His Glory and power back into the Church like never before. (Photo via Pixabay)

God is Calling New Watchmen (and Women)

In November, I heard the Lord say that He is raising up new prophetic watchers to be on the wall.

"'Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from Me.'" Ezekiel 33:7 NIV

The Lord is raising up a new breed of prophetic watchmen and women that will not only hear His voice, but will know His heart. The sound of the prophetic will change and prophetic watchers and intercessors will soon be sought after to bring the words of the Lord to key world leaders.

Watch as the Lord raises up Ezekiel 33 watchmen in the United States.There is going to be a change coming to your ministry and it will not look like what you think. It does not make sense for you right now. The Lord is aware of how the enemy has overplayed the attacks against you. Watch as hidden things are going to be revealed. You have not been forgotten and you are greatly loved and honored in Heaven.

Reaping from the Storehouses

I have released several prophetic words this past year about God repaying us for losses and specifically something happened last June regarding this.

This is a time that God wants to break curses over our finances and release resources into the Kingdom of God. God spoke to me that we are going to start seeing greater returns to us on our giving and answers to prayers.

"The Lord will command the blessing on you in your barns and in all that you undertake. And He will bless you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you."
Deuteronomy 28:8 ESV

I keep seeing storehouses in Heaven with our names on them. For every time that you have given, prayed or reached out to the Lord and have not seen a return or response—the answers to your requests were actually being placed into a storehouse in Heaven for you. There was never a time that God did not respond to your prayers. The fact that you did not see the answer come to Earth does not mean that He did not respond.

"The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow." Deuteronomy 28:12 NKJV

Starting in December you are going to see your storehouse begin to open over you. This is going to create a new sound from the heavenly "slot machines" (for lack of a better example) hitting their payout for you.

The Key to God's Storehouses

God showed me that a key to receiving all that He has for us is to let go of our offenses and judgments. These are things we have against others. (Photo via flickr)

It is interesting that Jesus gives us a key to bringing blessing in our lives:

"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:37-38 NIV

Yes, giving will open things up to you. But if you read Luke 6:38 in context, Jesus says that we must first let go of judgments. The key to receiving a full blessing starting this month is to clear out any judgments we have had against others.

I am very excited for all the positive changes ahead for us. The year is going to go out with a celebration as God makes way for a new move coming in 2017!

Remember: "'...The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled.'" Ezekiel 12:23b NIV

"March Forward: Get Ready to Advance!"

This year, the month of March is going to be a turning point spiritually. On the last Yom Kippur (September 23, 2015), I heard God say that 24 weeks from that day there would be a big shifting happen. You can read more about it in my 2016 Prophetic Forecast. We are currently in a time of pruning and preparation. 

Why Am I Feeling Discouraged or Attacked?

So often it is common for things to look the opposite from what we thought would happen. We should not expect or make room for this in our lives, instead we need to take authority and battle it.

Over the past few weeks, several demons and witchcraft attacks assigned to harass us were revealed. We continue to break these things as they are being exposed.

I have been asked, "How is it possible for people in witchcraft to attack us when we are under the Blood of Jesus?"

This is a great question.

There are a few reasons. I sometimes get attacked even though I battle daily over myself and others.

We are in a time that evil is increasing and we as Christians need to be advancing in the anointing to overcome these things.

Most Christians are operating in older ways of doing spiritual warfare that worked 10 years ago, but they need to be updated to survive what is happening right now. When I talk about this with people, most of them argue with me, but I am seeing this firsthand in my life and ministry.

Yes, we have the Word of God, the word of our testimony, the Name and the Blood of Jesus. And they are all powerful to destroy the attacks of satan.

But if you are seeing a continual attack on your finances, chronic sickness or anything contrary to God's Word, then you need a strategy from Heaven to overcome.

What Are Some New Ways to Battle?

• There is power in agreement. Find someone or even groups to pray (where two or more agree together it shall be done for them.)

• Make declarations. Take God's promises and the Bible and combine them into a powerful tool in prayer.

• Take communion. I take communion every day and pray.

• Position yourself. Try waking up at a different time. Right now I have to go to bed at 8:00 p.m. so that I can get enough sleep to get up at 4:00 a.m. every day because that seems to be the time for me to see and to battle.

How to Prepare for Advancement

First, get familiar with what God spoke to me about the season we are in. This will help you respond and get into sync with Heaven.
