These Objects May Be Opening Your Home to Demons

KATHY DEGRAW  CHARISMA NEWS
The demonic realm is real, and demons are looking for a body to host or an object in which to attach. In the Bible, we see examples of territorial spirits in Mark 5 who wanted to occupy a region.
Familiar spirits know what is in our generational line and what we struggle with. They operate to keep the same negative patterns and habits repeatedly manifesting. Territorial spirits and familiar spirits can be in the atmosphere, attempting to inflict our souls and attach to objects. Spirits can attach to objects that are not of the Lord, have been cursed, or dedicated to a false god.
There are times we go through another territory or region, and we can feel the darkness. Additionally, there are also times we feel something is just not right. These are examples of how the demonic can infiltrate other places, and we are sensitive to it, and the Spirit makes us aware. It is similar to when we go into a church or home that has been prayed up and permeated with the presence of the Lord. We can feel an atmospheric shift, lightness and peace; that is how we want our homes to feel. It is wisdom to do a spiritual housecleaning and purge anything in our homes that could be instituting spiritual warfare on our behalf.
I remember one time going to the store and purchasing bags of crosses on clearance. As we were in prayer and worship, the bags were in the room when two of us looked up and felt something amiss in the spiritual atmosphere. We were immediately drawn to the bag of crosses. As we looked at the crosses, we could see faces in the designs. We later discovered crosses made in China were made in the same factories as Buddhas, and that they are dedicated to Buddha before they leave China. We immediately got rid of them and prayed over my home.

In the Bible, we receive instructions on what to do with an object that could have spiritual attachments.
You must burn the graven images of their gods with fire. You must not desire the silver or gold that is on them nor take any of it, lest you be snared by them, for it is an abomination to the Lord your God. You shall not bring an abomination into your house, lest you become cursed like it, but you must absolutely detest and abhor it, for it is a cursed thing (Deut. 7:25-26).
We could have received an ungodly object from our grandparents (not intentionally), something we purchased while traveling or as a gift. I suggest praying over the gifts you receive. I remember one of my assistants often having to dispose of gifts her daughter would send her from oversees. But how do we know what we need to get rid of and what we can pray over and keep? We need to seek the Holy Spirit for wisdom, guidance and leading.
Objects we shouldn't have in our homes would include Buddha, false gods, dream catchers, rabbit's foot, yin-yang symbols, peace signs, anything representing the demonic or darkness and any objects that are rooted in a false religion.
There are also what I call undercover objects we need to discern such as jewelry, gifts, wall hangings, knickknacks, heirloom items and sentimental items.
Items you should question and discern with the Holy Spirit:
  • Jewelry from an ex-lover or former spouse.
  • Items from friendships that have ended in disunity.
  • Items that remind you of emotional or physical trauma.
  • Heirloom items unless you know your ancestry and grandparents' spirituality.
  • Jewelry from your generational line.
  • Jewelry with occult symbolism or symbolism that cannot be identified.
  • Items with no reasoning behind them.
  • Items people left in your house without permission.
How should we discern or decide what to keep and what to dispose of?
  • Pray and seek the Holy Spirit.
  • What feeling does the item bring forth?
  • Do you have a "check" in your spirit—an uneasiness about the item?
  • Do you have an unusual special attachment to the item?
  • Pray and bring in a mature friend or Christian to help you.
  • Remove your flesh and natural opinion—it is just an object.
  • Don't take into consideration the sentimental value. The sentiment of the item is still inside you, in your heart or the memory, even after the item is removed.
  • Don't take into consideration the value of the item. The warfare the item brings costs you more than the physical item itself.
Don't feel you have to throw every item away that you have a check or uneasiness about. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit if you can pray over and anoint the item or if you have to remove it. I am clearly not telling you to keep occult objects, statues of false idols or items of that nature. What I am saying is don't go through your house like a crazy person throwing everything away because it could have a spiritual attachment. Ask the Holy Spirit. Pack the item away in the basement for a few weeks if it is in question, while you pray and discern, and bind and restrict the spiritual realm from activating through it while you are discerning.
Be wise in the decisions you make, but also don't be ignorant of the enemy's devices. Clean up your home and get rid of objects that don't glorify the Lord or that have demonic attachments. Create and permeate an atmosphere conducive for the Holy Spirit to move in your home and life. Eliminate open doors to the enemy to cause spiritual warfare attacks against you.

All Nations - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

All Nations
Steve Martin

“All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, and shall glorify Your name. For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God.” (Psalm 86:9-10, NKJV)

If you consider the current status of the nations of the world, more than likely you would not say that they will ever magnify or acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the King of kings nor the Lord of lords. In fact, if you just for a moment think of those represented in the United Nations, your confidence that this will ever happen decreases even more. Very few nations, if even a handful, call upon the Name of the Lord at this present time. Personally, I might consider two at most. Guess which ones?

And yet…the Scriptures state in many verses that ALL NATIONS will one day come and worship the Living God, this One and Only Living God of Israel.

Consider this verse, written by one of the minor prophets of Israel, and yet very profound, a shepherd named Haggai.

“For thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,' says the Lord of hosts.” (Haggai 2:6-8, NKJV)

All nations will be shaken. Then they shall come to the Desire of All Nations.

In the spring of 1994, my good wife Laurie and I were included as founding members of All Nations Church, at the time just getting established in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Those first ones were Mahesh and Bonnie Chavda, Michael and Leslie Adams, Art and Ruth Maki, and a very nice lady many called Yoo-hoo, or sometimes Lois Hanks. She was the Chavda kids’ grandma nanny. They and all others called her Yoo-hoo because when entering a home she would announce her arrival with, “You Hoo”.

Later that summer the Chavdas and us moved our families to Charlotte, North Carolina, landing here ahead of two semi-loads hauling our belongings after the long 14-hour trip on July 4, 1994. The former 13 acres of Lamb’s Chapel property, now covered over by part of the huge development of Ballantyne in south Charlotte, including the once converted horse barn and all that became our church building, was the memorable scene of glorious nights, particularly with the weekly Friday all-night Watch of the Lord. (You can read much of these days in my book, The Promise – One Man’s Journey to See God’s Word Revealed, published in 2013.)

The church was so named All Nations because it was our belief that the Bible was true, and all people, from every tribe and tongue, would one day come to the Desire of All Nations, Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach. The Word of God is forever true, with Haggai 2:6-8 as the foundational Scripture.

Fast forward almost exactly 25 years. In a Sunday morning, March 2019 gathering of Antioch International Church, located on the former Heritage USA (PTL) property, once holding the ministry of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, Laurie and I, now members there, were part of the worship team as background vocals. (All Nations Church now resides just across the railroad tracks of that same property, which was part of Heritage USA, and once known as Fort Hope. I was still on staff there in 1999 as the Administrator when we purchased the 36-acres of good land.)

During one of the songs, as we were lifting up the name of Jesus, the Lord gave me a prophetic word. At the appropriate time, during an instrumental break, I loudly proclaimed that “All nations will come the Lord, for He is the King of kings and the Lord of lord. Even as the flags of the nations here wave above you (the near-ceiling walkway perimeter of the assembly room of The Barn is lined with a multitude of national flags from around the world) know that all nations will come and acknowledge Me as their Lord and King.”

As I later thought of it, to myself I wondered if all nations will indeed come. I searched the Scriptures later when I got home. It was confirmed in the written words of the Good Book, this will truly will happen. There will be those from each and every nation that will come and bow the knee to the King of Israel, ruling from the holy city of Jerusalem.

There is also a warning given in several verses in the same Scriptures. Those people of the nations which refuse to give the proper homage to our God and His Only Son will pay the price of their pride, ignorance, and obstinance.

“I will also gather all nations,
And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
Whom they have scattered among the nations;
They have also divided up My land.

They have cast lots for My people,
Have given a boy as payment for a harlot,
And sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.”
(Joel 3:2-3, NKJV)

My heart cry, reflecting that of my Lord and Savior Jesus, is that each and everyone reading this message will choose now to be included with those, gathered from all nations, who call upon the Name of the Lord. Let all other names be called liars, but His Name, Adonai, Hashem, the Blessed Lord, be called the Name Above All Names, by all nations.

Shalom and ahava (peace and love in Hebrew).

Prophecy: Body of Christ Now Going Through Spiritual Debridement

DAWN HILL  CHARISMA NEWS

Spiritual debridement. These were the words I heard this morning while sitting in the floor of the sanctuary, praying. As an individual who has had prior medical experience, I knew what debridement meant. I had encountered this in my time as a doctor. Wounds heal from the inside out. I have seen some pretty nasty wounds in times past. There were some wounds that took more time to heal because of their size and because of the presence of decaying tissue and infection.
In order for a natural wound to heal, you need healthy tissue and time. You need proper treatment of the wound. Without proper treatment, healing is delayed and inhibited.
As I was asked to pray for the church, I saw an internal picture of a large, gaping wound, and as I prayed, I heard the words "spiritual debridement." Debriding a wound requires cutting away and removing decay and death from the affected area. It requires removing everything that interferes with healthy transformation to a state that is whole. It requires removing things that cause you to carry a stench that is noncompliant with the fragrance of heaven.
Do you know what is great about removing dead things? Removing things without life in them does not hurt. There is no circulation present. Nerve sensation is dead. Debridement is necessary to heal. Some of you reading this have wounds that have not healed, whether from years of trauma or offense. Some may be holding onto what has lost life. I want to encourage you, allow the healer to debride those wounds with His Word and by the Holy Spirit so that you can be healed in the binding of your wounds by the only one who can heal you.

A wound heals from the inside out. We must be whole inwardly before we can be whole outwardly. Debridement is a cutting away to expose life and to accelerate the process to a fresh start. Sometimes, we avoid spiritual debridement because we fear what could happen. We become comfortable with the unhealthy flesh. Debridement is surrender to the process, and it can be more convenient to simply cover up the wound and attempt to ignore it.

Debride the Bride

While I was praying, it occurred to me that "bride" is in the word "debride." It is a simple thought, but profound at the same time because according to dictionary.com, the prefix "de-" means in this case "privation, removal and separation." When I looked up the word "privation," I found out that it means the "loss or absence of a quality or attribute that is normally present" (Google dictionary). Just as there is a spiritual and necessary debridement taking place individually and corporately, there is an agenda from the enemy to de-bride the bride, to create a loss or absence of a quality or attribute that is normally present.
The church is the bride of Christ, and we are called to have the characteristics of a bride; pure, spotless and without blemish. A spiritual debridement is taking place. Dead things are being removed, and elements that do not bear life are being cut away. The bride is being washed by the water of the Word. There is some spiritual agitation taking place so that what is alive can circulate properly and remain steadfast in being whole, Spirit, soul and body.
The bride longs for the Bridegroom. We are called to cultivate intimacy with Jesus Christ. We were created to worship the Father in Spirit and in truth. We were created to tabernacle with the Holy Spirit. In every facet of that relationship, wholeness is of upmost importance.
I believe the enemy would like to cause us to lose the attributes that make us the bride of Christ. He wants to de-bride the bride and for us to embrace absence of the qualities designed to separate us from the things of this world. Jesus is the head. We are His body, mandated to demonstrate His kingdom through salvation, miracles, signs and wonders. We are also called to demonstrate His nature of righteousness, holiness and integrity. To not demonstrate His love through the power to save, heal and set free is legalism. To not emanate His nature of righteousness and holiness is a performance and is self-serving. There must be the presence of both. There are many things that are attributes of the Lord and thereby attributes of the bride that the world and the devil would love to strip as our heritage: the call to serve, the call to humility, the call to bear fruit and so on. All are vital.
I am encouraged to hear this and to recognize that spiritual debridement from the Lord is a good thing. It means that healing is available and desired by God for His body. May we all embrace this healing, and may we not lose our identity in Him in the process. Allow God to cut those dead things off and to pour healing balm on your soul. He wants you to carry His fragrance. He wants His body whole and present in the qualities and attributes that are normally present as the bride of Christ.
