“My Heart Is Fixed"
"My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.” Psalm 57:7, KJV
Early morning is the time I generally arise,
springing out of bed with a leap in my heart and ready to take on the world.
Well, actually not. Most often it is, “I need
more sleep, Lord. I need to get more sleep.”
Having a disciplined way of life in order to do what you and I have been called to do wasn't promised to be easy. The slack man generally gets nothing done, except to put on more pounds while consuming more useless calories.
Living in these days, we need the Word of God to bring us encouragement. We too need to keep our eyes fixed on the Lord Jesus, and our hearts kept for His purposes and plans. (Even as Moses did in Hebrews 11:26.)
I found the following interesting story in 2 Chronicles of King Asa, after reading Psalms this morning, speaking of David and his heartfelt cry out to the Lord. David knew he had to keep his heart fixed on the Lord. King Asa learned that too, as you will read.

The Scriptures in this passage tell of a man named Azariah sharing wisdom with King Asa after the king had called upon the Name of the Lord. King Asa had been pleading for help against a foreign army of a million men who had come up from Ethiopia, against him and his people.
"Then Asa called to the Lord his God and said, "Lord, there is no one besides You to help in the battle between the powerful and those who have no strength; so help us, O Lord our God, for we trust in You, and in Your name have come against this multitude. O Lord, You are our God; let not man prevail against You. So the Lord routed the Ethiopians before Asa and before Judah, and the Ethiopians fled." (2 Chron 14:11-13, NASU)
Later on in the story, King Asa is given some words of wisdom upon which to stand further.
"Then Azariah son of Obed, moved by the Spirit of God, went out to meet Asa. He said, "Listen carefully, Asa, and listen Judah and Benjamin: God will stick with you as long as you stick with him. If you look for him he will let himself be found; but if you leave him he'll leave you."
"For a long time Israel didn't have the real God, nor did they have the help of priest or teacher or book. But when they were in trouble and got serious, and decided to seek God, the God of Israel, God let himself be found."
"At that time it was a dog-eat-dog world; life was constantly up for grabs — no one, regardless of country, knew what the next day might bring. Nation battered nation, city pummeled city. God let loose every kind of trouble among them. But it's different with you: Be strong. Take heart. Payday is coming!" (2 Chronicles 15:1-7, THE MESSAGE)
Here is another version of the same verse, "But you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is reward for your work."
"Now when Asa heard these words and the prophecy which Azariah the son of Oded the prophet spoke, he took courage and removed the abominable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities which he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. He then restored the altar of the Lord which was in front of the porch of the Lord." (2 Chronicles 15: 7-9, NASU)
How many times have you cried out to the Lord, seeking help, needing strength, weary from the daily grind, the constant push it seems always comes from the enemy of our soul, trying to take us out of the fight?
Just sheer weariness can cause us to want to quit at times and just let the world go by without our heroism. But that is not what we are commissioned to do. Keeping our hearts fixed on the One who sustains us, energizes us, and renews our spirit is a daily need. It must be our daily food.
Take the much needed time each day to be with the Lord. Let go of that urge to plop in front of the TV before the daily rush begins, or after a long day of hard work, hoping the meaningless dialogue coming at you will in some way renew your spirit.
Spend some quiet time with the Lord, whether early morning, during a noon break, or in the evening.
You will then find that after giving this some disciplined days that it is not something you will easily give up. You will more and more realize that it is He Who sustains us and gives us the strength to keep going on.
The world awaits our lives, prepared through Him before we step out the door to face another day. It may not be the million that King Asa faced, but it is enough that we need the Lord too.
Now think on this, and see what good things the Lord has in
store for you and those around you.

"The God of the 'Best' is Restoring MORE than What You Lost"
Beloved, are you in the middle of a period of great loss right now? If so, the Lord wants you to know: "I am restoring you BETTER than you were before!"
This is what the Lord showed me from the past:
Starting in the summer of 2015, many of God's people began experiencing great losses. The losses you felt may have been brutal, and even beyond your wildest imaginations; something so bad or so painful you never dreamed it would happen to you. Like dominoes, valuable things in your life fell away, one after the other, as the enemy robbed you of what you held dear. However, the losses didn't last forever. After a while there was nothing left to strip. That season of loss ended abruptly in a way you had never planned on it ending.
What is the Place of Restoration?
For many of you, in the past two years or so, you've been in a place where the Lord has been healing you. However, you have missed the big point the Lord wants you to know today: The place where you are is not just a place of healing. It's a place of restoration.
In a place of restoration, according to the Biblical definition of the word "restore," things actually become better than they ever were before. And the place where you are is going to turn out BETTER for you than the old place ever would.
In this place here is what you will experience:
• You will have more joy.
• You will have more peace.
• You will have greater friendships.
• You will walk in the ways of the Lord with more power and less hindrance than you ever knew possible.
• You will hear the voice of the Lord behind you saying, "This is the way; walk in it." and you will be able to obey without resistance and without major obstacles.
• You will have more peace.
• You will have greater friendships.

• You will hear the voice of the Lord behind you saying, "This is the way; walk in it." and you will be able to obey without resistance and without major obstacles.
You've Already Won the Battle
The Lord wants you to know this today:
"I am healing your life, but I am also redesigning your reality based on the fact that you've won the battle. The enemy sent his most sinister forces against you, but you abode in Me and in My Word, and the enemy did not succeed. (Photo via Unsplash)
"I realize that you thought the enemy did succeed, and it's true that he stole some things from you, however, I allowed it to happen only because I had something so much better for you. The enemy played right into My hands as I can now force him to restore what was stolen seven times over.
"I have healed your heart, but you haven't realized the journey you've been on. The journey you've been on has been steep and rocky, but you have been building muscles of faith. Now you are so much different than you were before. The enemy does not even recognize you! I repeat, the enemy does not even recognize you because you look so much like Me!
"Stay hidden in Me as I personally walk you through the process of restoring your life. Take a moment and have a look at what I am doing.
"I am assigning new territory to you. The angels of Heaven are ascending and descending right now upon the ladder of your prayers—yes, even the prayers you have forgotten about. I have not forgotten about a single prayer you have prayed. I have been keeping those prayers in Heaven, and even now I am answering.
"New alignment is coming to you. New places, gates and doors are opening to you in the spirit right this minute. You have proven yourself a good and faithful servant, and you are entering right now into the joy of the Lord. Watch and see what I do as you enter a place of rest.
"The battlefield has been hard, but I am pulling you into a 'Holy Spirit spa.' Even now, you feel it. Even now, you sense it. Even now you can feel the pressure—including the pressure you put on yourself—falling off. Stay in this place of rest with Me. Make conscious decisions to rest and relax every day. Work hard, yes, but do even that from a place of resting in Me.
Look out for Distractions & Watch God Expand Your Territory
"When I tell you to do something, do it without delay. Watch out for things that would pull you away from My instructions, for many are the devices of the wicked one, but I am a God of clarity, order, and rest. If you feel harried, it is not from Me. Go back to the place of rest and recalibrate your actions and your thinking.
"I am restoring you and building you right now, even as we speak. I am making you better. I am expanding your territory and making it fuller. I am EVEN NOW stretching out your tent pegs and enlarging the place of your tent. As it says in Isaiah 54:2-3, 'Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited.'
"Even now, as I am restoring you, I am expanding your territory. I am preparing more joy for you than you have ever had before; and indeed, if you will look around you, you will notice that you are already in that place of more joy. I will not stop until I have rebuilt your life better than you could have ever dreamed.
"I am restoring you. I am committed to this, for My Son Jesus died on the Cross to see your complete and total restoration. You are going up with My Spirit into territory that is uncharted for you, but is very familiar to Me. Restoration is the place where I dwell. I dwell in the BEST and the BETTER, and even in the BETTER THAN BEST. Those things that 'eye has not seen nor ear heard' are the things I have for you.
Beyond What You Can Even Imagine
"Ask Me daily to do things for you that you cannot imagine. Petition Me daily to do the things that you don't even know to ask Me for, then BELIEVE that I am doing them. And when you look at your situation right now, look and see that you are on the slope of My glory, being lifted over time into a better reality than you ever had before.
"The things that you lost will pale in comparison to what you are gaining RIGHT NOW. I am indeed restoring you better than you were before. I am rebuilding your life to an unrecognizable state; it will be that good.
"Look where you are now, yes, even now, and look back in time to four years ago. Could you have imagined then that you would be where you are NOW? Your vision was so small! You had no idea where I would take you. Of course, you didn't know the pain it would take to get there, either. I am sorry about that. The pain you experience is a result of the sinful world in which you live, but it will not always be that way. You will always have challenges, but even now I am bringing such healing to your heart that you will forget the pain. Indeed, you will actually bless Me for the pain you have endured, and you will say out loud, 'I wouldn't change a thing. Look at what I learned. Look at where the Lord brought me. Look at how He delivered me. Look at the glory He bestowed upon my life.' (Photo via Unsplash)
Even to the End of the World
"I am with you always, even to the end of the world. You had no idea what it would take to get here, but you haven't seen anything yet in comparison to the grandeur of what I desire to do for you. I will keep going with My plan, child, as long as you keep cooperating with Me—which I know you will, for you are a good and faithful servant.
"Enter into My joy now, My child. Delight in My joy; revel in it. Enjoy the place where you are, knowing that I have given you this place of restoration as a good and perfect gift. I am the Father of lights with whom there is no shadow of turning. I have not brought you this far to leave you; indeed, I am showing Myself to you now more than I ever did before.
"I can trust you, now. I allowed you to be tried in a fire hotter than you thought you could stand, but I knew you could stand it. I know what you are made of, for I formed you in your mother's womb. I knit you together in secret, one cell at a time. I knew exactly what you could take, so I allowed the fire to be hot so it would burn the dross off of you all at once.
Well Done, Good & Faithful Servant
"I delight in you, and you have My name, My esteem, and always My affection, but I want you to know that I am SO proud of you. I am SO delighted in who you are to Me, and in who you have become. You have clean hands and a pure heart, and you will not lift your soul to another, nor swear deceitfully.
"Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter now into the joy of your Lord. Enjoy your restoration as I also enjoy it, for I delight in both you and in restoring your life. You are the object of My delight, and you serve Me well. You warm My heart every single day, and I delight in you, My child."

"The Lord says, 'I commission you to start walking the land, searching for the ancient paths. They will lead to the coming of the covenant plan.' The Lord says, 'I'm rallying the troops. I'm filling the quivers and I will have them ready when the time to advance in this land occurs. The months ahead are key.
"Watch, listen, get ready, for the unlocking in this land is coming. There will be a transfer of authority to My Kingdom people. The land will reform! The key belongs to you to bring the Kingdom down. Get ready! There is a key place, then 6 other places of covenant alignment in this land. One is in Kansas. One is in South Dakota.'
"I see Kentucky being set free. I see Georgia shaking. We say to Iowa, 'The Lord is coming down to align with you. The occult structure will topple in Iowa.' God is starting a move in His people that will not be stopped. 'There is coming a new path,' says the Lord. 'It is ancient but has never been unlocked before. Watch. Have the key ready. I have ordained the time. It will be in the journey that is going on.'

Give Him 15 Minutes in Prayer:
• Seek a fresh revelation in your relationship with the Lord. Meditate on 1
Peter 2:9, if you struggle with this.
• If you live in one of the places Chuck mentions above, begin to intercede for Kingdom-unlocking strategies there. Connect with others in your region for this purpose.
• Pray for all 7 key locations be revealed to the Ekklesia.
• Don't worry if your location is not mentioned. God will be advancing everywhere across America. The mentioned places are key places of unlocking. They must unlock for all of us to benefit, so intercede for those places and reap in your own location!
• See Dutch's prayer below. Receive it for yourself and those you are connected with to expand God's Kingdom in your area.
A prayer you can pray:
In the holy name of Yahweh, El Olam, Ancient of Days, Eternal God, we re-commission this movement called by numerous names. It is an apostolic movement, a prophetic movement, a prayer movement. We call it, "The awakened Church." It is the awakened Ekklesia of Jesus Christ, Messiah, the Lord Sabaoth, the Lord of hosts.
In His name, we say, "Be commissioned now for the ancient paths. Reach back, put the glove on which represents Olam, the Ancient One, and take out giants in this land. Reestablish the covenant of the Lord over America and into the nations of the earth. You can't do anything, but go forward now."
Change is on the people of God. Lord, You initiated that. You have commissioned us by the apostles and prophets into the changes ahead. We say, "That curse that has ruled and stopped the move of God's highway, you are now broken in Jesus' name!" Amen.
Today's decree:
The Ekklesia are being recommissioned to turn Kingdom keys in the keyholes of Heaven in God's perfect timing. The nation will reform as God's plan unfolds!

Hard Working Americans Sure Do See The Economy A Lot Differently Than The “Experts” Do - Michael Snyder
Of course all of them will have “plans” for “fixing” the economy, but the truth is that most of those plans really aren’t that radically different from what has been tried in the past. No matter who has been in the White House, our insatiable appetite for debt has allowed us to enjoy a tremendously bloated standard of living that was far beyond what we actually deserved. We have been consuming far more wealth than we have been producing for so long that most Americans have come to accept this state of affairs as “normal”. And under no circumstance will Americans elect any presidential candidate that would suggest that we should be willing to accept a lower standard of living and quit going into so much debt. Everyone wants to hear that we will be able to have an even higher standard of living in the future, and of course that is what a lot of our politicians eagerly tell them. But it isn’t true. Sadly, the reality of the matter is that we are at the very end of the greatest debt bubble in the history of the world, and the way we live is about to dramatically change no matter who we send to Washington. As I discussed yesterday, the evidence that the U.S. economy has already entered a significant downturn continues to grow. All of the economic numbers that we have been getting lately have been bad, and yet so many of the “experts” continue to claim that the U.S. economy is in great shape. In fact, a survey that was just released had some rather starting results. 100 percent of the “experts” that were surveyed rated the performance of the U.S. economy as either “excellent” or “good”, but average hard working Americans were a lot more evenly split… A new survey from financial information website Bankrate.com found that everyday Americans have a less favorable view of the economy than experts do. All the experts rated the economy as being “excellent” or “good,” compared to just 59 percent of others. And 39 percent of everyday Americans said the economy was “not so good” or “poor.”The survey also included a question about when the next recession would begin. Approximately 40 percent of average hard working Americans felt that a recession had either already begun or would begin very soon, but none of the “experts” felt that way… Everyday Americans also said they expect a recession to hit sooner than the experts predict. A fifth of Americans polled said they believe the recession has already begun, and 21 percent said they expected it to begin within six months or a year. However, all the experts said they don’t expect a recession to begin for either one to two years or more than two years.Perhaps we should stop calling them “experts”, because they appear to be completely and utterly clueless. And we had better hope that the economy can hold up, because a different survey has found that 71 percent of all Americans say that they “are unprepared for another financial crisis”… Meanwhile, 43% of Americans say they feel financially insecure and 71% are unprepared for another financial crisis, such as going bankrupt or losing their home, a survey of 24,070 adults released this week by market researcher YouGov found. Some 55% of those who feel unprepared say they’re not confident that they will be able to afford retirement; they’re more likely than those who feel financially secure to say the government should make sure everyone has health insurance.Today, 59 percent of all Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, and U.S. consumer debt just soared to another brand new record high. People are partying when they should be preparing, and this new economic downturn is going to catch most of us completely off guard. And day after day we continue to get more numbers that are telling us that the economic outlook is very bleak. For example, it is now being projected that U.S. auto sales will drop substantially over the next two years… The U.S. auto market hit a record for new cars, with 17.5 million in sales, in 2015. Sales the following year were flat then dipped to 17.2 million in 2017 and rebounded in 2018, rising to 17.3 million. But the first half of this year has plunged into negative territory. Edmunds anticipates sales for all of 2019 will drop to 16.9 million. That’s the same estimate from AlixPartners, which is forecasting a further dip to 16.3 million in 2020 and just 15.1 million in 2021.Now we are in election season, and all sorts of different candidates will be touted as the one “that can turn the economy around” and restore “the promise of America’s future”. Every election cycle they spout the same nonsense, and it is amazing that anyone still falls for it anymore. Right now, America is on a highly self-destructive path that only leads to economic oblivion. We are 22 trillion dollars in debt, we have been adding more than a trillion dollars a year to the national debt for more than a decade, state and local governments are drowning in record levels of debt, corporate debt has more than doubled since the last financial crisis, U.S. consumers are almost 14 trillion dollars in debt, and the world as a whole is now 244 trillion dollars in debt. If we keep doing the same things over and over again, we are going to keep getting the same results. Under our current system, there is no way that this game is going to end well for any of us. The only thing left to do is to extend the party for as long as possible, and that is precisely what our politicians have been doing for a long time. But at some point “extend and pretend” simply won’t work anymore, and a day of reckoning for America will finally arrive.
