| April 19, 2022 Charlotte, NC Greetings to friends and family of Love For His People. My wise restaurant boss/owner Russ Rollinger would tell me and the crew, when I was in 8th grade back in Cedar Falls, Iowa, around 1968, “When the food is hot, get it out.” He made a spiritual point even though I am sure he wasn’t thinking along those lines. When the Lord gives you something to say, say it. The Apostle Mark liked to often use the word “immediately” in his Holy Spirit anointed gospel writings. He had a very good reason for doing that. The Lord wants people to respond when He speaks. Too many times we sit on what we hear, waiting forever to get “one more” confirmation before we get up off the couch or nice reclining chair and act in obedience. How much gets done when we do that? When the Army sergeant says, “GO!” you better not look at him and think, “DId he mean now? Shall I ponder on this for a moment or two?” When the Commander speaks, do it. And so I share this message with you. My first thought was that the people would get tired of seeing these messages from me in their InBox, but then I was corrected by Him and was told to give it out when it is hot. Like the pomegranate photo above? I took it with my small Canon camera in the Jerusalem open market on April 5, 2022, in what is called the “shouk”. The official name is Mahane Yehuda. The photo reminds me of the many individual parts of the Body the Lord is gathering together. You, me, and so many more! Know Your Place “As a vessel of snow in a day of harvest, [So is] a faithful ambassador to those sending him, And the soul of his masters he refresheth.” Prov. 25:13, Young’s Literal Translation Isn’t it just like the Lord? After I got up from my prayer/ministry workspace rocker in the wee hours of the night, either from jetlag after the most recent Israel trip, or having been recharged once again, to let go of the tea earlier consumed within, or as the Jewish tour guide said years ago on one of the many early year adventures in the Land, – “Coffee in. Coffee out” as we made another bus stop along the route, the Word of the Lord came to me. (Sorry for the long sentence.) But as we learn to know His voice, we can hear the Holy Spirit speak to us, sometimes at the most unexpected times. He said to me, “You are an Ambassador for Israel.” And my response to myself, as I shouted within was “Yes! And I love my job!” What a marvelous assurance it is that the Lord gives to each of us, as He continually unfolds His plans and directs our steps. It amazes me at times. It scares me at times. It renews my hope, love, and faith at all times. This recent Ahava Adventures of Love For His People ministry in April 2022, alongside my good friend David Peterman, once again “recharged my batteries” as Mahesh Chavda of All Nations Church used to delightfully speak 22 years ago. A recharge was certainly needed for me after 2.5 years of waiting and waiting, and waiting through 6 canceled trips to Israel due to evil lockdowns and false narratives delivered by Satan and his henchmen (spiritual and natural) to further frighten and instill more fear in the nations of the world. But God! God delivers! So, when that word came, “You are an Ambassador for Israel”, I got excited. Thank You, thank You, Holy Spirit! Each of us has been created for a distinct, specific, meant-to-fulfill mission from our heavenly Father. As we seek His face, walk in His ways, and say no to the world and its temptations about us, He is faithful to show Himself strong on our behalf. He delights to reveal, connect, and put each of us in our eternally ordained place, to bring forth His Body, His church, which is made up of believing Jews and Gentiles, One New Man, to reveal His glory in all the earth. And don’t we all need Him so desperately right now to do just that? Go God! Expect the Lord to speak to you. Long for His voice. Open your spirit up and allow Him to bring comfort, assurance, and a quiet but firm word, “This is the way. Walk in it.” An ambassador for Israel is what I am. (Even Popeye knew what he was.) “Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But earnestly desire the best gifts.” 1 Corinthians 12:27-31, NKJV Discover your place in His Body that Yeshua (Jesus) has given to you, and then walk it out faithfully every day, with all the grace, love, and shalom (peace) He alone can bring to you and others as you do.
