Jonathan Cahn Unlocks the Miracle of Specificity

This miracle is astounding. (Pexels/Katii Bishop)
From our vantage point on a small hill near the school, we observed a young family of tent dwellers, a father, a mother and their newborn baby, sitting outside a solitary tent in the middle of a large plain in the desert night.

"A poor family," said the teacher, "holding their newborn baby out in the elements, under the stars. It could almost be a scene from Scripture, from Bethlehem. Can you fathom the miracle of it? The God who created the universe now a helpless baby inside the universe He created...the Almighty become the weakest of beings ... the hands that stretched out the heavens now too weak to even grasp the hand of His mother...the eyes that see all things now can barely focus...the mouth that spoke the universe into existence now can only offer up the cry of a helpless baby. How amazing is that? It is the miracle of love ... the humility of love ... and the miracle of specificity."

"Specificity?"

"God is omnipresent, everywhere at once. But in the Incarnation, He becomes specific to time and space, to only one point of space and to only one moment of time. God is universal, the light of the world, the spring of all existence. Yet now He becomes specific to one culture, one people, one tribe, one house, one genealogy, one family, one life. The universal God of all existence becomes a Jewish baby, a Jewish boy, then a Jewish rabbi, walking in sandals on the ground and dust of first-century Judea.

Everything He does is now contained in one specific place and one specific moment of time. He forgives specific sinners, embraces specific outcasts, multiplies specific loaves of bread and touches specific people and heals them of their infirmities."

"How does one apply that?" I asked. read more

Best-Selling Author Jonathan Cahn Reveals How Christians Today Can Stand Steadfast in the Midst of Apostasy - FRONTLINE CHARISMA NEWS

Best-Selling Author Jonathan Cahn Reveals How Christians Today Can Stand Steadfast in the Midst of Apostasy

FRONTLINE  CHARISMA NEWS
Casino-owner. Reality TV star. Brash billionaire. Who would have thought Donald Trump would become the next president of the United States?
In his latest New York Times best-seller The Paradigm, Jonathan Cahn says the outcome of the 2016 election was predicted in the Bible. Referencing 1 and 2 Kings—a Middle-Eastern paradigm from 3,000 years ago—Cahn makes shocking connections between historical figures from centuries ago and all the major players in American politics. The Paradigm includes prophetic insight to the rise of Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Osama Bin Laden and Donald Trump. Through these parallels, Cahn exposes a bigger picture at hand.
"Though the book will deal with the political realm and many other realms, it is not political but spiritual and prophetic. If one is to see its revelations, one must, before going forward, put away all preconceptions and presumptions, all politics and related opinions and judgments. ... it is crucial that such things be put aside for now, at the outset—if one is to uncover the mystery," Cahn writes.
The mystery that Cahn reveals involves a tie between President Trump and the ancient King of Israel Jehu. Like Trump, Jehu was an unlikely ruler. He lacked any political experience with no royal blood or lineage and, therefore, had no right to the throne.
Cahn cites 2 Kings 9:6-8, when a servant of the prophet Elisha sought Jehu to be the next king of Israel:
"So he arose, went into the house, poured the oil on his head, and said to him, 'Thus says the Lord, God of Israel: "I am anointing you king over the people of the Lord, over Israel. You will strike the house of Ahab your master, and I will avenge the blood of my servants the prophets and the blood of all the servants of the Lord from the hand of Jezebel. The whole house of Ahab will perish...'"
"With Jehu's anointing the die was cast," Cahn writes. "The overturning and end of Ahab's house was now set in motion."
The Paradigm details how ancient Israel had descended into a culture that defied God and perpetuated evil behavior. Jehu was chosen to right the wrongs of those before him. Except that he did not exemplify any of the qualities one would expect of a godly man.
Cahn writes, "He could be boastful and given to self-promotion. He could be reckless and at times appear to be out of control. He could act impulsively, rashly and in apparent disregard of the consequences of his actions."
A man of extremes and contradiction, Jehu was unlike any other leader of his time. But he spoke of having a zeal for God. While the culture and government were entrenched in evil, Jehu was destined to destabilize the system. Through this, Cahn shows how Jehu set a precedent for President Trump.
"So too Trump rose to power at a time when the nation's apostasy stood on the verge of attaining total supremacy, of being sealed into permanency, and of threatening to abolish the ways of God on every front," Cahn writes. "[Trump] was used to hold back at least for a time the encroaching forces of an anti-biblical, anti-God and anti-Christian onslaught. He would pledge himself to the defense of religious liberty and to the sanctity of life."
Cahn writes on how Trump's victory in the presidential election represents a unique opportunity for evangelical leaders and believers. The Paradigm identifies this time as a reprieve so that the culture could be restored to its biblical foundations. Cahn sounds a wake-up call for Americans to reject the culture's new definition of morality and stay faithful to godly morality. In the same way that Elijah was a light in the darkness, Christians today must be steadfast in the midst of apostasy.
Cahn writes, "Trump, like his ancient predecessor, was in spite of his flaws, a vessel for the accomplishing of purposes beyond his own understanding. This begs the question 'Can God use those who have not served, followed, or known Him for the outworking of His purposes?' He can."
The Paradigm refers to an ancient blueprint that reveals secrets to modern-day events. In his signature descriptive and precise writing, Cahn exposes shocking parallels between ancient Middle Eastern palaces and the White House, biblical leaders and today's political figures, scandals from 3,000 years ago and the current controversies on American soil. The Paradigm was released on Sept. 19, 2017, and is published by Frontline, an imprint of Charisma House. Jonathan Cahn Sheds Light on Mysterious Connection Between King Ahab and Our Modern Western Culture

In his latest New York Times best-seller The Paradigm, Jonathan Cahn unveils how today's politicians demonstrate alarmingly similar behaviors as leaders from the Bible.
Cahn writes on King Ahab, whom the Bible presents as a man divided. He was at the forefront of deepening apostasy in ancient Israel, leading a spiritual, cultural and political war against the nation's biblical faith and traditional values. Cahn identifies the characteristics of such a leader and reveals how these traits set the precedent for political figures in modern, Western culture.
"The king will be a divided man. On one hand, he will come from a culture founded on faith in God. On the other, he will embrace and champion a culture and an ethos that wars against the God of his heritage.... He will be a man in conflict, compromised, complicated and divided," Cahn says.
He emphasizes the impact that leaders have on a nation and how their actions carry great weight for good and evil. Cahn extrapolates on Ahab as a leader, detailing how he oversaw the rise of a new pagan morality and presided over its enshrinement. By embracing Baal worship, Ahab allowed his people to transfer sexuality from the private realm of marriage to the public realm of the temple cult.
Furthermore, Baal worship involved child sacrifices. Thus, under Ahab's reign, the government endorsed the killing of innocent children. Cahn then reveals how the Bible uses this paradigm of the king to foretell a modern-day leader who would also allow the murder of children, along with other acts of ungodly morality.
"As it was with King Ahab, President Clinton was especially connected to the blood of the innocent.... As it was in the reign of King Ahab, it was in Clinton's time in office that the state now became an active agent in the nation's apostasy," Cahn writes.
He points to how Bill Clinton signed a series of executive orders that enabled abortion in America and around the world. He also writes on Clinton's act of adultery in the White House, which not only separated sex from marriage, but also placed sexual sin on the ultimate public platform. Bolstered by these parallels, Cahn underscores King Ahab and President Clinton's overall moral ambiguity.
"Though Clinton was raised with a biblical foundation, he would embrace an ethos and morality that warred against biblical morality. As was his prototype, King Ahab, Clinton was a man divided. ... He would sin against the ways of God and then express repentance and sorrow—just as Ahab did," Cahn says.
The Paradigm details how both these leaders, one from 3,000 years ago and the other in contemporary America, exhibited a weakness of will and morality. By drawing on these similarities and even incorporating shocking parallels between timelines, Cahn demonstrates how the paradigm can provide insight for future events.
"The Bible is the Word of God," Cahn affirms, "So much that its patterns, keys and templates reveal, illuminate, foretell, if not determine even the events and details of the present day."
In The Paradigm, Cahn uses these revelations to educate readers on the dangers of having leaders who rebel against God's ways.
He expounds on how Clinton and Ahab had both "broken the ground and breached moral parameters that had never before been breached. And because of these breaches, the repercussions would be far-reaching, not only into the future but into other lands."
19, 2017 and is published by Frontline, an imprint of Charisma House. New York Times best-selling author Jonathan Cahn continues to dominate the charts with his new book, The Paradigm: The Ancient Blueprint That Holds the Mystery of Our Times (www.TheParadigmMystery.com), which has mesmerized readers with its shocking and amazing details that uncover the hidden story and mysteries behind the news of our times.
This week, for example, The Paradigm reached No. 2 on the Publisher's Weekly Religion Nonfiction best-seller list. Cahn's books have staying power because of their incredible content that draws in readers, as evidenced by the fact that two of his past books remain on this week's Top 10 Publisher's Weekly Religion Fiction best-seller list: The Book of Mysteries (2016) is at No. 2 and The Harbinger (2012) still holds a place at No. 9—five years after its debut.
Other current rankings for The Paradigm include the following:
The Paradigm, the fourth book from the acclaimed author, is already in its third printing with more than 350,000 copies—just over three weeks since its debut.
Cahn's publisher said there's not necessarily a secret to the author's success other than excellent content, a committed writer and publishing team, and loyal readers.
"Jonathan Cahn is a very disciplined author who is proactive in support of his books," said Marcos Perez, publisher and executive vice president of Charisma House. "Given his history and track record, complemented by our relationships with accounts and audience constituencies, we were able to do a seamless weave that culminated in wonderful timing in the marketplace. Our analytics led us to make the right calls in key moments, for which we are grateful."
More than 300 Amazon.com readers have given The Paradigm an average of 4.8 out of 5 stars, with 89 percent saying the book is a 5-star read:
  • "READ THIS IF U CAN ONLY READ ONE BOOK | A total must read for ALL Christians!"
  • "Five Stars | "Wish I could give it 7 stars!!!"
  • "Enlightening | This book answered so many of my questions about what God is doing and helped me to understand the old saying, 'History repeats itself.' I'm planning to buy every book that Jonathan Cahn has written."
  • "History Proves Crucial | Amazing insight to connections of our modern day political leaders and leaders of Israel. No coincidence! He lays out the foundation of all of the major points and then gives excerpts as a refresher and breaks down the paradigm."

How Jonathan Cahn Was Spiritually Attacked the Day 'The Paradigm' Released - STEVE STRANG CHARISMA MAGAZINE

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn (YouTube )
If you read the October issue of Charisma, you know the cover story is about The Paradigm by Jonathan Cahn. I was among the first to read the manuscript, and I believe it is as important as or more important than even The Harbinger. Rabbi Cahn sees patterns in the Old Testament that are played out in current events. It really is something for you to think about.
The book released a little more than a week ago, and already it is No. 5 on The Wall Street Journal nonfiction list and No. 7 on its e-book list. It is No. 5 on The New York Times hardcover nonfiction best-seller list. Also, it's No. 12 on the USA Today best-seller list and No. 10 on the Amazon Best Sellers list.
A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a newsletter about Hurricane Irma and our company's experience with it. I mentioned that every time we release one of Rabbi Cahn's books, something traumatic happens the day of release. This time, I assumed that instead of Rabbi Cahn being hit, we bore the brunt of the attack. I was surprised when on Tuesday, Sept. 19—the day The Paradigm released—he was rushed to the hospital with a ruptured appendix. We are grateful he will be OK, but that was quite a traumatic thing to happen and is an indication of the level of spiritual warfare taking place.
To show my friendship and concern, I flew up to visit Rabbi Cahn in New Jersey last week and recorded a podcast, which you can listen to here. We discussed not only the latest attack on his health but also the importance of The Paradigm itself. I don't want to give away too much, but let's just say that he draws parallels to a number of current political leaders.
The Paradigm is available wherever books are sold, or you can order it online by clicking here.
Please share this and let us know your comments.
