This is one of those times that mere words seem inadequate. Reading Leadership by Anointing once is not enough.  This is so much like Something More; each time you read, there is something new that gets illuminated.  When I began Something More the first time, I thought, wow, this is different.  What at first seemed a nice collection of scripture unfolded into a grand vision into the heart and magnificence of the Father and each time I go through it, it blossoms further.  It produces such a hunger and passion along with a boldness that rises up while reading it. I believe this is the same for Leadership by Anointing.  While one may at first see this as a compilation, and on the very surface it may be, the more one delves into it, the more the depth draws one into an incredible journey into God's mind and heart for Kingdom leadership and the dear price the author has paid in order to gain this mother lode of revelatory wisdom and understanding, and the creative unction to release it in a way that comprehensible without watering anything down. I fully intend on going through this several times this year in my evening mediation time.  The richness of its content is as the pearl of great price.  The value of what has been written is, without overstatement, priceless. "Operating in the prophetic requires first hearing from God. However, when we hear from God another key required layer is the issue of alignment and seeing things from the stance of what God is doing. It is becoming a participator in His destiny-shaping purposes and agendas. It is entering a dimension of God's big-picture beyond ourselves

Sometimes we can get the big-picture without seeing how God is getting us there. So, operating in prophetic requires a continual checking-in with Him for the "interims." That's because none of us are  at the place to where we don't need guidance for the next step, despite our best and most valiant efforts to do so

One of the hardest things to learn is to NOT force issues. The flip side of that is holding steady when you don't yet see the change in the natural. Yet, faith and faithfulness are determined by those who grasp what is underway in the unseen world.

When we are in a place where there is something that God is doing that we haven't fully or even partially discerned, it represents a place of vulnerability. Well intentioned people unwittingly walk into cross-fires of judgment by yielding to the flesh in these interims.

Prophetic stewardship requires keeping one's spiritual antennas high and, when provoked over something, to back off until you hear specifically what the Lord has to say about it."

Morris Ruddick - Leadership Through the Jewish Model

Having read all of Morris Ruddick six books, beginning with The Joseph-Daniel Calling (Jul 8, 2003), followed closely by God's Economy, Israel and the Nations  (Oct 28, 2004), I have found a tremendous respect for his life, his message and his leadership. 

After meeting him personally at a KEYS conference in Charlotte in 2011, and spending time recently at his home in Denver, CO, I know the Lord has chosen him for this hour - to train up and release men and women of faith into their business and spiritual callings.

I encourage you to get Morris' books, read them, and allow the Lord to inspire and encourage you in your pursuit of His anointing and purpose in your own life.
