Mike Evans Says David Wilkerson’s Prophecy of a ‘Plague Coming to New York’ Is Being Fulfilled Before Our Eyes – Steve Strang

Is David Wilkerson’s Prophecy of a ‘Plague Coming to New York’ Being Fulfilled?

I recently spoke with Mike Evans, who shared a word with me that was absolutely powerful. He says that when he picked up his Bible one day, a handwritten note from the late evangelist David Wilkerson fell out. The message it contained shook Mike to his knees.
The note was from a meeting he had with Wilkerson—or Brother Dave, as Mike calls him—at the Embassy Suites near the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport in 1986. The letter was to Rev. Richard Dortch, who ran PTL under Jim Bakker.
Mike read the letter aloud on my podcast. It said: “Within 12 months from the date of this letter, the judgment of God will fall on PTL. You are fornicating with brick and stone. Flee now and repent. Bats will fly through the empty building.”
Exactly a year later, the Charlotte Observer broke the PTL scandal that involved Jim Bakker. (He has since repented and been restored.)
But that wasn’t the only prophetic word Wilkerson gave. He also said: “I see a plague coming on the world, and the bars and churches and government will shut down. The plague will hit New York City and shake it like it has never been shaken. The plague is going to force prayerless believers into radical prayer and into their Bibles and repentance will be the cry from the man of God in the pulpit. And out of it will come a third Great Awakening that will sweep America and the world.”
You can click here to request to read the full message.
But how could something so terrible lead to an awakening of that magnitude? Mike says this is how God often works. If you look at the first two Great Awakenings, they came around times of hardship.
“The two Great Awakenings that America has [had that shook] the entire nation happened around the time of the American Revolution and the Civil War,” he says. “… The pilgrims came to this country on fire for God, but their children didn’t. Their children became cold in their souls. And America started pushing away. And then all of a sudden, here comes this manifested Great Awakening that shook the nation. And then you had the American Revolution. You had another one, and you had the Civil War. And I thought, Wow[Wilkerson] said there’s going to be a third Great Awakening.”
Could it be that this COVID-19 pandemic we’re experiencing is the trial that will usher in the next Great Awakening?
Mike says for that awakening to happen, God needs to uproot idols from this nation.
“People have taken and allowed things to become their idols; money and materialism has become an idol of their success and the reputation has become an idol,” he says.
Even Trump has become an idol for some Christians, Mike points out. All this must go. God demands our whole hearts and nothing less.
“I think that God is shaking us because He’s taken all of our security away,” he says. “All the things that [made us] comfortable [have] been removed.”
Make sure you listen to my full interview with Mike Evans. What he shares is powerful and, if believers truly listen to his message, I believe we could see another massive awakening in our country. Today, as you celebrate Good Friday, may your heart rid itself of every idol so you can make way for the glories to come.

The State of Israel is not alone nor isolated but has 650 million supporters all over the world. There are millions of Christians and other non-Jews who are standing up for the Jewish people as well as telling the story of Israel, its challenges, its achievements and why all people, no matter what their creed is, should be friends of Israel.
Pastor Jentezen Franklin is one of those friends and the difference he has made in bringing millions of people to Israel and closer to its history and its people has made him one of Israel's best friends. Since 2015, he has been working with Dr. Mike Evans and the Friends of Zion Museum to promote Israel.
Franklin is the senior pastor of Free Chapel Worship Center in Gainesville, Georgia, home to more than 14,000 members. With locations also in California, Franklin is spreading his message of standing with Israel all across the United States and the world.
Franklin serves on the Trump Faith Initiative, actively advising President Donald Trump on his steadfast support for the US-Israel relationship. He was instrumental in helping to bring about Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital as well as relocation of the United States Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
On Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), Franklin's daily show, Kingdom Connection, speaks to millions about the importance of praying for the "peace of Jerusalem" and tells his viewers on every show to bless Israel and her people.
Since 2015, Franklin has been working with the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem, a $100 million-dollar project that reveals the heroic stories of the courageous Christians and non-Jews whom have assisted the Jewish people throughout the Zionist movement, as well as in critical times like during the Holocaust. Franklin and his partners have donated more than a million dollars to the city of Jerusalem on behalf of the Friends of Zion Museum.
The Friends of Zion Museum recently surpassed 51 million members, making it one of the largest pro-Israel sites in the world. The Friends of Zion Museum is launching an ambitious $100 million project to help educate pro-Israel
supporters around the world about the Jewish state, its challenges and achievements.

Since they opened their doors in 2015 in the heart of central Jerusalem, the Friends of Zion Museum
has gained much notoriety by revealing the heroic stories of the courageous non-Jews who have assisted
the Jewish people throughout the Zionist movement, as well as in critical times such as the Holocaust.

The museum recently surpassed 50 million members on social media, making it one of the largest
pro-Israel platforms in the world. According to FOZ founder Dr. Mike Evans, "the achievement of 50
million online members has come through the FOZ Museum's ability to reach out to people all over
the world and transform them into friends of Israel."

Mike Evans: Defending Israel's Brand

The new $100 million project will see the construction of a think tank, research center, Ambassador
Institute and an online university. Evans is in Israel this week for the Christian Media Summit, which
brought together more than 150 Christian broadcasters and journalists from across the globe, including
the United States, Russia, Germany, West Africa, Australia and South America.

"These Christian broadcasters are one of the keys to building bridges as well as creating friends for
Israel and her people," Evans said.

Earlier this month, Evans and a delegation of Christian evangelical leaders met with Egyptian President
Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. The delegation lobbied Sisi on behalf of the United States, as well as on behalf of
Christians supporting the State of Israel, specifically on strengthening Egypt's relations with Israel,
fighting terrorism in Gaza, and formulating a pragmatic and successful Middle East peace.

The former international chairman of the Friends of Zion Heritage Center was the late President Shimon
Peres. The Friends of Zion Museum bestows the "Friends of Zion Award" upon world leaders whom
have gone "above and beyond" for the State of Israel and her people. Last December, FOZ presented the
honor to US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office when he announced the relocation of the US
Embassy from Tel Aviv to Israel's capital city Jerusalem.

FOZ also awarded President Jimmy Morales of Guatemala the award for following the United States in
moving his country's embassy to Jerusalem as well as to the US Middle East Peace Envoy were awarded
for helping to move the US Embassy and improve Israel's relations in the region.

Evans Mobilizing 31M Followers to Influence World Leaders to Move Their Embassies to Jerusalem
CBN News 12-29-2017
An evangelical leader in Israel is hoping to build momentum for more nations to move their embassies in Israel to Jerusalem.
Mike Evans is the founder of the Friends of Zion Museum and one of President Trump's biggest cheerleaders.
Evans latest tribute to Trump is a New Year's Day wish in the form of a four-story digital banner on the facade of the Friends of Zion Heritage Center.  It reads "Thank You, President Trump. You're making Israel Greater."
He's planning a 'royal welcome' for Vice President Mike Pence when he arrives in mid-January with over 110 billboards, buses, and even camels.
Perhaps more importantly, Evan is mobilizing his 31 million followers to influence world leaders to stand with Israel and the Jewish people and recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The objective is to have as many other states join Guatemala's Evangelical President Morales and follow President Trump's declaration and move their Embassies to Jerusalem.

Evans pledged that every world leader that says "yes" would receive the Friend of Zion Award.
He recognized Trump's declaration by presenting him with the Friends of Zion Award during a ceremony in the Oval Office with Vice President Pence and faith leaders representing over 150 million Christians globally.
Evans also initiated a campaign to blanket the city with more than 100 banners that read 'God Bless Trump.'
The campaign includes a giant banner that reads "God Bless Trump From Jerusalem, DC (David's Capital) to Washington, DC."
The campaign began on December 6th when Trump made his historic announcement that he was recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and would begin the process of moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem, as mandated in the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act.
Since then, the banner has appeared on billboards, buses, and even camels.
"We believe what he (Trump) did is going to bring the blessing of God on our own country America," Evans told CBN News
"President Trump's historic recognition of Jerusalem will secure his place in history as the first American president to take that step since the founding of the State of Israel in 1948," Evans said.
Evans and other evangelical leaders have hailed Trump as a modern-day Cyrus, the Persian King in the Bible who helped the Jewish people return to Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile.
He believes that for hundreds of millions of Evangelical Christians around the globe, Trump is an answer to prayer.  He compares President Trump's declaration Jerusalem to the 1917 Balfour Declaration that called for a homeland for the Jewish people and President Truman's acceptance of Israel into the family of nations in 1948.
Evans wrote, "No president in history has ever built such an alliance for the State of Israel and the Jewish people, and no president has courageously stood up for the State of Israel on the global stage as President Trump."
He founded the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem to tell the stories and history of Christian Zionists who helped the Jewish people throughout history and especially before the founding of the modern state of Israel.

Jerusalem is abuzz beholding the largest marketing campaign in city's history with 110 massive billboards, buses with signs and even camels.
The campaign, created by Mike Evans of the Friends of Zion Museum, launched when U.S. President Donald Trump first visited Israel in May and will continued through January.
The billboards declare, "God Bless Trump, From Jerusalem D.C. (David's Capital) to Washington, D.C."
"No president in history has ever built such an alliance for the state of Israel and the Jewish people, and no president has courageously stood up for the state of Israel on the global stage as you had Mr. President," Evans says. "President Trump's historic recognition of Jerusalem will secure his place in history as the first American president to take that step since the founding of the State of Israel in 1948."
To honor Trump, 30 evangelical advisers met in the Oval Office earlier this month to present the president with the Friends of Zion Award.
Trump's declaration that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel takes its place as one of Israel's historic milestones, which include the Balfour Declaration and President Harry Truman's acceptance of Israel into the family of nations.
These stories and more are included in the Friends of Zion Museum.
The Friends of Zion Heritage Center has become one of the central institutions in the state of Israel influencing the world and strengthening Israel's relations globally while fortifying the pillars of the State of Israel. In addition to more than 31 million members globally the museum has hosted over 100 diplomats such as U.S. Ambassador David Freedman, President Rivlin, tens of thousands of Christian and Jewish leaders, NBA and NFL superstars, leading Hollywood actors and singers—and it has become a must-see site in Jerusalem.

AN ATTACK ON A SYRIAN REACTOR - MIKE EVANS JERUSALEM POST

AN ATTACK ON A SYRIAN REACTOR

BY MIKE EVANS  SEPTEMBER 10, 2017  JERUSALEM POST

Ten years ago last week, on September 6, 2007, Israel reportedly bombed an eastern Syrian complex which was reportedly a nuclear reactor being built with the assistance of North Korea. The planned attack had begun months before in a quiet Vienna neighborhood.

In an article for The New Yorker, David Makovsky painted a graphic picture of the preparations surrounding the secret operation: “In the first days of March 2007, Mossad agents made a daring raid on the Vienna home of Ibrahim Othman, the head of the Syrian Atomic Energy Commission. Othman was in town attending a meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s board of governors, and had stepped out. In less than an hour, the Mossad operatives swept in, extracted top-secret information from Othman’s computer, and left without a trace.”

Innovative measures aren’t always heralded on the front page of The New York Times or International Herald Tribune. Such was the case when the Israel Air Force struck, according to foreign sources, a suspected nuclear site northwest of Damascus on that September day. In the aftermath of the attack, global attention focused on Syria’s nuclear ambitions, but little was released about the actual incursion.

Few knew that prior to the incursion then-prime minister Ehud Olmert had contacted US president George W. Bush and asked the US to bomb the compound that housed the nuclear facility. According to Bush, an intelligence report had crossed his desk noting a “well-hidden facility in the eastern desert of Syria.”

The former president felt he had no clear justification for such a move and declined Olmert’s request.

On September 6, I met with Olmert.

Behind his desk sat a picture of him and George W. Bush standing back-to-back.

The dedication written on the picture said, “I have your back.” Ehud told me that the president had offered to send secretary of state Condoleezza Rice to Israel on a diplomatic mission, and the prime minister refused. Olmert said, “No, we don’t need diplomacy; I need you to take it out – or I will.” President Bush declined; Olmert gave the green light for an attack.

As information on the mission began to emerge, it was revealed that this was likely the first incidence of “electronic” combat – also called “non-kinetic” warfare.

Such warfare involves the use of electromagnetic transmissions to alter, destroy, or seize the opposition’s military systems without initiating perceptible loss. It is, in essence, military computer hacking and electronic intelligence methods designed to reduce enemy capabilities. Israel discovered it was not only conceivable, but doable.

As the incursion was being made ready, an Israeli strike force slipped into Tall al-Abyad, Syria, a border town near Turkey. The group disabled two radar systems, enabling Israeli jets to overfly airspace without detection by the Syrian air force. That was a major coup, as Syrian radar defenses were considered the most complex and exhaustive in the Middle East.

The actual bombing run was reportedly carried out by 10 Israeli F-15I Ra’am fighter jets attached to the IAF 69th Squadron. According to a 2013 article at Pravda Report the aircraft were armed with laser-guided bombs and were escorted by F-16I Sufa fighter jets. Three of the F-15s were reportedly ordered back to base, while the remaining seven continued towards Syria.

In the early morning hours, Israeli pilots whispered, “Arizona,” the code to alert those in Jerusalem who were monitoring the mission that the reactor had been destroyed and not a pilot had been lost.

Following the attack, Olmert reportedly contacted Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to inform him of the circumstances. Erdogan was then asked to forward a communique to Syria’s President Bashar Assad.

The message in blunt form: “Don’t try to build another nuclear plant.”

The Syrian dictator was urged not to make media fodder of the attack, and was assured the Israelis would show restraint as well. Caught in a trap of his own making, Assad could not retaliate for the destruction of a nuclear reactor he averred did not exist.

Questions to Israeli sources regarding how the feat was accomplished were met with restrained silence by Israel and a false report by the Syrian Arab News Agency. It was erroneously stated that the Israelis “dropped some ammunition” and departed Syrian airspace leaving behind no damage.

After the successful attack, Olmert visited president Bush in the White House. The president invited Ehud upstairs to the private residence where he opened a closet and offered the prime minister a cigar. The two men walked out on the Truman Balcony overlooking the south lawn; each lit a cigar in celebration of the successful attack on Syria’s nuclear site.

The area of Syria that housed the reactor is now home to Islamic State terrorists. Who knows what evil would have been perpetrated had the Syrians been left to develop nuclear capabilities? As with the destruction of Saddam Hussein’s Osirak facility prior to the ISIS takeover in Iraq, the world owes a great debt of gratitude to Israel.

Faith Leaders Pray for Trump in Oval Office, Enjoy 'Open Door' at White House

CBN News 07-12-2017

About two dozen evangelical leaders spontaneously prayed with President Trump in the Oval Office Monday during a day-long "listening session" with the Office of Public Liaison.

Johnnie Moore, a former senior vice-president at Liberty University, posted pictures of the prayer time Tuesday night on social media but emphasized that it was more than just a photo op.
"It shows a substantive relationship between the evangelical community and this administration," he told CBN News.

Moore said faith leaders are enjoying frequent access to officials throughout the Trump administration and explained: "We enjoy an open door, not just in the Eisenhower Building, but in the West Wing."
The West Wing includes the Oval Office where the president works, as well as the Cabinet Room, the Situation Room and the Roosevelt Room. The Eisenhower Executive Office building is located right next to the West Wing and houses other White House staff.
Jennifer Korn, special assistant to the President, organized the meeting, but the prayer time was an unexpected bonus, Moore said. "When the West Wing became aware that we were on the property, they invited us over to spend a few minutes," he said.
He described the president as "in wonderful spirits" as did Tony Suarez, executive vice president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference.
"It was so relaxed," Suarez told CBN News. "Just like friends getting together."
Other leaders in the room included Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council (FRC); Pastor John Hagee, founder and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio; Paula White, senior pastor of New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, Florida; former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann; Ralph Reed, chairman of the Faith and Freedom Coalition; Gary Bauer, president of American Values; Robert Jeffress, senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Dallas, Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas; Jim Garlow, senior pastor of Skyline Church in La Mesa, California; Rodney Howard-Browne, senior pastor at the River at Tampa Bay Church, Mike Evans, the founder of Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem, and Richard Land, president of the Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte and others.
Moore acknowledged that the Trump administration has not organized a specific office for evangelicals, unlike the Obama administration which created the Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships or the Bush administration which oversaw the White House Office of Faith-based and Community Initiatives. Moore said the current relationship, however informal, has provided more access.
"While there is no formal office," he said, "we actually think we're enjoying a much more substantive relationship."
After the meeting, Perkins told FRC supporters that he's found the Trump administration to be "genuinely interested and responsive to the concerns of the evangelical community" and added that after 14 years in Washington, D.C. "I am more optimistic that we can change the course of this country."
Leaders at Monday's day-long session described discussing a wide variety of issues with administration policy makers. Moore said they included religious liberty and criminal justice reform. Perkins mentioned foreign policy and Israel.
Suarez said the group prayed for a number of policy matters including Trump court nominations that have yet to be confirmed. Suarez said he's most concerned about a lack of action on immigration reform but added "I don't blame the White House. I blame Congress."

Faith Leaders' Visit to Oval Office Is Blowing Up the Internet

President Donald Trump and Evangelical Faith Leaders
President Donald Trump prayed with a group of evangelical faith leaders Monday afternoon at the White House. (Facebook photo)
The lead story, as of this writing, on the Drudge Report website is a photograph taken by Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne of a prayer circle for President Donald Trump held earlier this month in the Oval Office.
The photos from the event are now blowing up the internet.
The prayer meeting was held Monday following a gathering of the president's evangelical advisory group at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building adjacent to the White House. Pastor Jim Garlow wrote about the experience—and his own special moment—in a post on Facebook that evening:
Okay. This hit me funny. A group of us were in meeting at the EOB—next to the White House. Unexpectedly Jared Kushner showed up. Then Vice President Mike Pence showed up. And he said President Trump wanted us to come to the Oval Office. We did. We were gathered around President Trump, seated at his desk for an official photograph. VP Pence saw me take out my phone, saw the look on my face that I so wanted a pic with my phone. The VP reached out his hand (not a word was said) took my phone, took the picture, handed the phone back to me!! I could not believe it. I just had a picture taken of me/us with the President—taken by the vice president of the United States!!! Am I the only person in the world to experience that ??
Garlow didn't post his photograph because he said he wanted to get permission from the White House before doing so. Tuesday evening, however, Howard-Browne posted his own photograph to his Facebook page, along with the following description:
Yesterday was very surreal for @ahowardbrowne & I. 30 years ago we came from South Africa to America as missionaries. Yesterday I was asked by Pastor Paula White-Cain to pray over our 45th President—what a humbling moment standing in the Oval Office—laying hands and praying for our President—Supernatural Wisdom, Guidance and Protection—who could ever even imagine—wow—we are going to see another great spiritual awakening #ovaloffice #westwing #whitehouse #washingtondc
He also posted several other photos from the Oval Office visit. Click here to see them all.
Highlight after all these years of fighting for America—standing in the Oval Office with President Donald J.Trump and Vice President Mike Pence and Pastor Paula White and other Faith Leaders—listening to our great President talk about America—Great Job Mr President—Great Job #ovaloffice #westwing #whitehouse #washingtondc
PS thank you to Pastor Paula White for making a dream come true
Late Tuesday night, Garlow posted his own photo, along with the following description:
As I shared, a group of us (Faith Leaders) met with President Donald Trump yesterday. He was warm & so responsive. A total delight. And ... what is amazing, as I reported yesterday, this picture was taken on my cell phone by Mike Pence, the Vice President of the United States! (He saw my desire for a picture on my cell phone, stepped up to me, took my cell phone, without saying a word, took four pictures & handed the phone back to me!). Am I the only person in history to have a photo with the President- taken by the Vice President?!? An amazing moment.
White-Cain hasn't posted anything about the prayer meeting on either her personal or ministry social media platforms. But another of the president's evangelical surrogates during the 2016 presidential campaign did. Dr. Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Dallas posted what he described as the "ultimate selfie," along with the following comment:
Always an honor to visit with our great President Donald J. Trump! Forget #FakeNewsMedia. Donald J. Trump is energized and determined to #MAGA!
Howard-Browne's photo drew the attention of the UK's Daily Mail newspaper, which wrote an article about the prayer meeting. That, in turn, his what caught internet news aggregator Matt Drudge's attention.
