The Great Coming Whirlwind - A Prophetic Insight by Mary Lindow - Identity Network

The Great Coming Whirlwind - A Prophetic Insight by Mary Lindow

Identity Network  March 11, 2016
"The LORD is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished.  He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm.  The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet." Nahum 1:3

We are in high-pressured days that seem as if everything around us is in a great whirlwind.
The noise coming from the media, the weather patterns, the sounds of war, the sounds of people crying out for "Justice" and the sounds of people crying out because they feel like there's been too much "In-justice".

The Lord would like to speak these words in this hour to those that have ears to hear.

I know there are many MANY prophetic words being ushered into the media outlets by so many people and many have been spoken out in meetings and conferences.  I wish that I could tell you that every single voice you're listening to and every promise that is being made to you regarding great wealth, great promotion, and great open doors are accurate. But deep down inside of your spirit man, there is something stirring that you cannot explain. It's that knowing that something is coming, that something has begun out there in the world that we cannot see, but that we know in the spirit.

We are in a time like none other on and in the earth.

But, we do have reference points to go to that tell of similar warnings and events that took place in the past. We can remember when Lot chose to go for the things that were more pleasing to his flesh and where he would have more abundant provision and opportunity for business trade, but in the end he was stuck in the city where there was nothing but illicit sex, graft, stealing and robbing, and eventually total desolation and demolition. Even as the Lord provided a way of escape, his wife still had the smell, the stench of the worldly life in her heart, and she turned around to look one more time, fondly, over her shoulder, at the home that she dreaded to leave behind.

Look at the days of Noah when he was mocked and laughed at.

He did not build that famous ark in a month! No! It took a long, long period of time to build the ark out in the middle of nowhere!   A simple study of the Bible text shows that the time from when God told Noah to build the ark, till the rain fell was no longer than about 75 years.
And yet he obeyed God.  If we read carefully, it says that the Lord himself drew the animals to the ark. First, it is necessary to note that Noah was not told to gather the animals. He was commanded only to build the ark, large enough for all the animals, and simply receive the animals when they arrived. "And of every living thing of all flesh...two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive" (Genesis 6:19-20).

I want to encourage all of you to understand clearly that there is a whirlwind coming.

In Jeremiah 23:19 God is talking about a whirlwind that He has sent - a violent windstorm. The false prophets have said, "No bad is coming" (verse 17). God says, "Do they ever listen to me? I've said, 'I'm sending a whirlwind, and it's going to fall on the heads of the wicked.' How dare they say that everything is going to be okay!"

What is coming is bigger and broader and wider and more destructive than anything else that we have ever seen. I don't know if it's a nuclear war! I don't know if it's bizarre weather patterns! And I don't know if it's not just a whirlwind of new kinds of ideas being foisted upon mankind.

What I do Know is This…

There are people who are aware in the spirit that the only stronghold in place right now, a place of immunity and safety, is in prayer and in surrendering to all that the Lord is asking of them. Many of you are stretched beyond the point that no one can understand. Their financial resources have been given and given again to help others, and yet their own supply seems to be dwindling. There are those who have poured into the lives of others, poured into businesses, poured into mentoring and training others, and yet it appears as if when they reach out there's nothing left in the pantry for them.

The Lord wants those of you who have been giving, giving, giving to check your hearts one more time.

If HE told you to give and to serve and to sacrifice, then you can be guaranteed one thing. He does not withhold from those who have been faithful.

But this I say, He which sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which sows bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 2 Corinthians 9:6

And God, who supplies seed for the sower and bread to eat, will also supply you with all the seed you need and will make it grow and produce a rich harvest from your generosity. 2 Corinthians 9:10

I want to encourage you right now in the spirit to understand the time that we are in, is a time when nothing is making sense when trying to apply the past patterns and methods or, the natural way of living. It's going to take a determined, dogged, supernatural approach to understand the seasons the days and the times.

God already understands all of this, but He is not going to communicate to people who will then try to communicate it in natural terms to those who don't have ears to hear. He's going to communicate truth and wisdom to those were willing to allow their own hearts to go into the fire of refining and changing the way that they have done things in the past.

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise." Psalm 111:10

Difficulties Require New Strategies

Hard times require sober minds and the determination not to be towed under by destruction and despair.

We are not to be focusing on the noise in the whirlwind around us in this world even though it sure does draw our attention from the left and the right! We are to instead, focus on a specific path, a narrowing of vision and a "one direction" place.

And what exactly does that all mean?

It means that we are to seek the Face of the Father.  And I mean seek and to seek, and to seek again. Continually.

"Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually." 1 Chronicles 16:11
We have got to break down those things that are holding back the move of God in all denominations of the Christian faith.

It will only come by seeking His face, seeing His heart for people and hearing His plans for them, and for us!

Oh how the Father wants to bring a fresh move of His presence through His word and through His glorious goodness and mercy!

He is going to bring correction to all denominations, all walks that claim to have Jesus Christ as the head of the faith! So many smugly think that because they have been charismatics or that they have been "spirit-filled" they have a higher attained level of wisdom and discernment! This is nothing but plain arrogance. If anything, there should be a more refined level of humility and thankfulness for the fact that we have access through the gifts to flow in the fruits of the Spirit.

"The LORD Almighty has a day in store for all the proud and lofty, for all that is exalted (and they will be humbled)." Isaiah 2:12

The Holy Spirit Would Say These Words Today

"Yes, the winds are blowing and they are harsh winds and some are absolutely destructive winds! Everything that does not stand under the power of my word and is not anchored in Me shall be shifted and blown and shaken, and at times the winds of drastic change will draw away the dross from the wheat. I am sifting and shaking, and shaking and sifting again and again until my people understand they do not live in a time where making demands and commands to Me operate well.

I am looking for a people who will bow low enough before Me and get quiet and seek My will, MY WILL for planet earth! This world is fading away quickly and mankind is corrupted each day more and more to go the way of the flesh."

You Must Put Away the Noise!

"You must put away the noise in your life and enter into the place where in the center of the storm is the eye. MY EYE is upon the righteous, My eye is upon those that are fruitful and faithful, and fruitful to Me may be different than fruitful to you!

You cannot serve two masters, yet many have tried to justify the shutting away of My convicting voice when I have told them to go back and make right the situations where they have done grievous damage to others who are supposedly their family members in Christ.
If you cannot repent and get relationships right in the Kingdom now, I cannot use you to forge new relationships in the future in My Kingdom. If you have bitterness, anger and jealousy in your heart, it will manifest with shaming and name-calling, as well as condescending and destroying another's capability to serve me well."

I Will Not Deviate from My Plan

"The days of selfish ambition and immaturity are closely coming to an end. My light, My life, My word and My ways are perfect! I will not deviate from My plan for the Kingdom of God in the earth. I am looking for a people who will not listen to the accusation of others nor slander and destroy their brother and sisters because of another's opinion, or perhaps because they themselves were brought a loving correction or warning and instead, turned around and shamed the messenger.

I see you all and I am fully aware of the things that have been done in My name to hide behind selfish ambition. A judgment time is coming!

Know this. I am about to expose those who abuse the gifts, abuse their titles and abuse the finances that I have deemed for the kingdom and I'm going to bring their names to the forefront to save their souls!

Yes, the whirlwinds may blow, and the storms and winds will be continuing to cycle and swirl. But I'm looking for those who are willing to stay in the center of My Eye, where there is quiet and there is calm and there is discernment, direction and wisdom for these devastating days.

To those in the center of My Eye, I will pour out a wisdom beyond mankind's understanding and they will rise up and have the words that will bring direction, correction, and light into dark places."

The eyes of the Lord keep watch over knowledge, but he overthrows the words of the traitor. Proverbs 22:12

For a man's ways are before the eyes of the Lord, and he ponders all his paths. Proverbs 5:21

Stand prepared, for I'm doing this thing regardless of whether man is ready or not. I am that I Am and I will have my way in the earth, says the Lord of Hosts.

For this is what the high and exalted One says -- he who lives forever, whose name is holy: "I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite." Isaiah 57:15

The Great Falling Away - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

The Great Falling Away
Now Think On This
Steve Martin

“Adonai said to Gid‘on, “I will use the three hundred men who lapped the water to save you; I will hand Midyan over to you. Let all these others go back home.”
(Judges 7:7-8 Complete Jewish Bible)

There is a great falling away coming from among those who once walked with the Lord. In fact, it has already started. For decades, it was “popular” to be a Christian. Not so anymore, especially when one considers the numbers who attend a weekly church service. Looking around any given Sunday morning gathering, and in most churches you will see mostly grey hairs; and they are dying off. Sure, there are those churches that are doing well among the youth, but that is an exception. We give thanks for them.

After a major crisis occurs in a nation, the pews do fill back up. But within a few months, or even weeks, the “Crisis Christians” no longer come around. It is back to normal as usual. (We may still have the “C & E” group – Christmas and Easter, but even those numbers are dwindling fast.)

The apostle Paul said that in the end of days there would be a great falling away. We are living in those times.

“Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.

Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 NASU)

Lest you become fearful, and wonder what is going to happen when so many are gone, let me share a little insight with you. It will inspire you in faith, I believe.

The Lord seems to allow for the reduction of numbers when He has a job that needs to get done. Unlike humans, more is not always better. As my good wife Laurie likes to remind me on certain occasions, “Less is more.” My accounting mind doesn’t always see it that way, but it is true.

Let’s look at a few instances in the Word of God, and see how the Lord chooses to accomplish His purpose, and achieve the final victory.

Take what happened when the Lord decided to flood the earth. He saved a remnant, Noah’s family of eight (Noah, his wife, three sons and their wives) and repopulated the earth with those alone. Looks like that worked.

And what about Gideon’s army, when it came time to defeat the Mideonites? Gideon took as many warriors as he had available, starting with 32,000. By the time the Lord had set up a few tests, the number was finalized at 300. With those remaining, the job got done. Victory was won.

Yeshua (Jesus) chose only 12 who would walk with Him for a little more than three years. Then He released them (even knowing one would be replaced by another) into the world. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, those twelve apostles changed the world.

Jesus also fed the multitudes, with very little. “All we have with us,” they said, “is five loaves of bread and two fish.” He said, “Bring them here to me.” After instructing the crowds to sit down on the grass, he took the five loaves and the two fish and, looking up toward heaven, made a b’rakhah (Hebrew – i.e. gave thanks). Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the talmidim (Hebrew – i.e. disciples), who gave them to the crowds. They all ate as much as they wanted, and they took up twelve baskets full of the pieces left over. Those eating numbered about five thousand men, plus women and children.” (Matthew 14:17-21, Complete Jewish Bible)

The Creator of the Universe can get the job done with very few.

What about the 144,000 in Revelation of Jesus (Revelation 7:4)? That sure is something to consider.

“I heard the count of those who were sealed: 144,000! They were sealed out of every Tribe of Israel: 12,000 sealed from Judah, 12,000 from Reuben, 12,000 from Gad, 12,000 from Asher, 12,000 from Naphtali, 12,000 from Manasseh, 12,000 from Simeon, 12,000 from Levi, 12,000 from Issachar, 12,000 from Zebulun, 12,000 from Joseph, 12,000 sealed from Benjamin.
(Revelations 7:4-8 THE MESSAGE)

There is a great falling away that is coming through the Christian ranks. It will remove the lukewarm as the Lord Himself is going to weed them out. I believe He will then emblaze the remnant with His Holy Ghost fire, and show the world Who is the King of kings and Lord of lords. In the process, millions during that time, yet to be saved for all of eternity, will come into His kingdom, gathered from all the nations.

Are you going to be one of the few? As the Marine’s would say in their motto, I pray you are.

By His grace you will keep committed and stay faithful to the end. It is going to be a battle, but He wins. Stay on His side.

Today's Israel Inspiration

Noah is described as a “righteous man” in Genesis (6:9) because of his tremendous effort and the compassionate care he showed the animals in his ark. Throughout the rest of the Bible, we read repeatedly of the importance of showing sensitivity to all of God’s creatures, including those of the animal kingdom. In honor of this week's Torah portion, Noach, we proudly present our eBook, "Animals of the Bible." Learn how to say your favorite animal's name in Hebrew and read the passage where they are mentioned in the Bible!

Why I Have No Fear of Economic Collapse - Michael Snyder

The inevitable stock market crash is nothing to fear if you're in the right place with God.

Why I Have No Fear of Economic Collapse

I am not afraid of an economic collapse. Coming from someone that runs "The Economic Collapse Blog", I am sure that sounds like a very odd statement. But it is true. I have no fear of economic collapse, even though I am fully convinced that the hardest times that any of us have ever experienced are ahead.
I spend countless hours in front of my computer immersed in deeply disturbing information, and yet I sleep more soundly at night than I ever have before. In fact, my wife and I seek to live in a constant state of "shalom," which is the Hebrew word for peace. So how is this possible? How can "the economic collapse guy" not be absolutely overwhelmed by fear, depression and paranoia?
Unlike so many who write about these things, I believe that preparation for what is ahead goes far beyond the physical. So I am constantly stressing the need for mental, emotional and especially spiritual preparation. Personally, I have absolutely no idea how atheists are going to make it through what is coming.
They don't understand why they are here, they don't understand why history is unfolding the way it is, and they have absolutely no hope for the future beyond this life. If you greatly fear death and you can't stand to lose the possessions that you have accumulated, the years ahead are going to be exceedingly difficult for you.
My relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ gives my life meaning and purpose. He took the broken pieces of my life and turned them into a beautiful thing, and He can do the same for you.
I also strongly advocate physical preparation for the hard years that are coming. My wife and I work very hard to store up food and supplies. The funny thing is that there are Christians out there that actually accuse me of being "anti-faith" for doing these things. Apparently they believe that we should all just sit around watching television while we wait for God to do everything for us.
But that isn't how it works. In the Bible, we see that exercising faith almost always involves action. Noah, Joseph and others acted in faith based on the warnings that they had received, and they were commended for it.
Are we acting on the warnings that we have received? For much more on this subject, please see my previous article entitled "Is It 'Anti-Faith' to Prepare for the Coming Economic Collapse?"
Knowledge and preparation help to eliminate fear. If you understand what is happening, and you know why it is happening, and you have prepared for what is happening, it makes the challenges that are ahead of you easier to tackle.
When you were in school, who got the most freaked out by quizzes and tests?
It was those that were not prepared for them of course.
In the years ahead, a lot of people are going to be jumping off of buildings, jumping in front of trains and so on. Others will plunge into a dark hole of depression and despair that they will never come back from.
The vast majority of those people will have never listened to the warnings and will have done nothing to get prepared.
Those who accuse me and others like me of "spreading fear" have got it completely backwards.
We are not "spreading fear" at all. We are spreading hope. There is hope in understanding what is happening and there is hope in getting prepared.
The preparations that are being made right now all over the nation are going to save countless numbers of lives. Those who are mocking preppers and that are telling everyone that everything is going to be just fine are going to deeply regret doing so someday.
Although I will admit that sometimes preppers are prone to a "bunker mentality", and that is not the right approach.
Now is not the time to dig a hole and try to hide from the world.
You were born for such a time as this. It is when times are the darkest that the greatest heroes are needed. Personally, my wife and I believe that the greatest move of God the world has ever seen is coming, and we very much want to be part of it.
Yes, the years ahead are going to be extremely challenging. In fact, I don't think that any of us can truly grasp the horror that is coming because we don't really have any frame of reference for it.
It is kind of like trying to explain to someone that was blind from birth what a tree looks like. You can spend hours describing the tree, but unless you have some sort of frame of reference, the understanding simply is not going to be there.
Sometimes I try to sit down and write about what is ahead of us, but I find that words fail me. For example, I recently did a piece entitled "The Last Days of Normal Life in America" that was very popular, but the truth is that it was woefully inadequate because I don't really have a good frame of reference for what we are about to face. I don't know that too many people out there actually do.
As "watchmen on the wall," those of us who are trying to warn this nation are just trying to do the best we can with what we have.
And we aren't just sitting behind our computers "cursing the darkness" either.
A few of my fellow "watchmen" have joined with me to try to do something special. Nathan Leal, Benjamin Baruch, Lyn Leahz and I have organized a nationwide call to prayer and repentance on the weekend of Sept. 18-20. It is going to be held at the Sandpoint Events Center in Sandpoint, Idaho, and we already know of people coming in from nine different states and Canada for this event.
In addition, similar gatherings are being organized all around the nation, and thousands that cannot attend an event in person are going to be able to participate by watching the livestream on Lyn Leahz's 69,000-subscriber YouTube channel.
In the end, there is a limit to what each one of us can do individually, but if we work together we can collectively make a great difference.
Now is not a time for fear. Perfect love casts out fear. This is a time for the Remnant to rise up and to spread a message of hope even in the midst of all the chaos and darkness that is coming.
Yes, the times ahead are going to be more chaotic that any of us could probably imagine right now. But let us reject all fear, depression and despair, and let us endeavor to become people of great faith, great hope and great love.

Heed the Words of Jeremiah ✡ "A Leafy Olive Tree"

The Lord called thy name a leafy olive tree, fair with goodly fruit; with the noise of a great tumult He hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken

JEREMIAH (11.16)

Jerusalem Inspiration

The first time the olive appears in the Bible is when Noah checks to see if the flood waters have receded. When the dove returns with an olive branch in its mouth, Noah knows that the water has receded sufficiently and life has begun anew (Genesis 8:11, 21). Pure olive oil was also used for the lighting of the golden lamp in the Temple, as well as to anoint priests and kings as part of their initiation. One lesson we can take from the olive is that just like an olive only yields oil when pressed, so too, when we are pressed between the millstones of life, our best selves emerge. It is often only when forced that we rise to the occasion to meet life’s challenges.  We now find ourselves in the days preceeding Tisha B'Av, the day when we commemorate the destruction of our holy Temple in Jerusalem.  History has taught us that Jeremiah's words ring true, and in the face of hardship, the Jewish people rise to the challenge.

Aliyah Under Fire

The inspiring words of greeting to over two hundred new Israeli citizens, who chose to move to Israel during last summer's war, are a true testament to the Jewish nation's ability to overcome any challenge.
