Christian Oil Company Begins Drilling in Northern Israel - Israel Today

Christian Oil Company Begins Drilling in Northern Israel

Friday, June 09, 2017 |  Israel Today Staff
After years of planning, preparation and fighting for the relevant permits, Texas-based, Christian-owned Zion Oil & Gas officially began drilling in northern Israel this week.
For years, Israel Today has been covering the progress of Zion Oil, a company that exists solely to bless Israel (and, by extension, those who bless her - Gen. 12:3) by discovering the natural resources the Bible suggests lie below the surface of the Promised Land.
Zion Oil "exists because of God's faithfulness to Israel," company founder John Brown told Israel Today in 2011.
At the time, Brown was convinced that the Land was just waiting to spill forth its bounty for the Children of Israel. And he remains convinced of that today.
The new drilling site is located in the Jezreel Valley region of northern Israel.
Zion Oil's Megiddo-Jezreel License is firmly situated in the Levant Basin, an area that experts estimate holds up to 6.6 billion barrels of oil.
The coming months are going to be very exciting for Zion Oil, and the entire nation of Israel.

Today We Rejoice Over Jerusalem's Reunification! ✡ "Blessed is God From Zion" - ISRAEL365

Blessed is God from Zion, He Who dwells in Jerusalem. Hallelujah!

Today's Israel Inspiration

The name of the Holy City of Jerusalem in Hebrew is Yerushalayim, ירושלים. This very special name has two important words inside it. Yirah meas fear, and it is a combination of awe and fear that everyone is supposed to have for the Almighty God.  Anyone who has ever been to this holiest of cities can surely feel this tremendous level of connection to God. The second word is Shalom, peace. The prayer of all who serve God is that He will bless the entire world with peace. The best place to make a close connection to God and to pray for peace is in His Holy City, Jerusalem.

50 Years of Christian Support for Jewish Jerusalem

There are countless miracles to celebrate upon the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem. Perhaps surprising to many Israelis are the largely untold stories of heroic Christian support for Jewish Jerusalem over the past half-century.

IDF Soldiers Liberate the Old City of Jerusalem

In June 1967, Israel’s soldiers overcame Arab troops and reached the Western Wall — the ancient remnant of the Jewish temple. At that moment, the Old City of Jerusalem, lost to the Jewish people for 2,000 years, was finally in Israel’s hands.

Trump Makes History Praying at the Holiest Site in Israel

Only a few short days before the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem, President Donald Trump along with his wife Melania and daughter Ivanka made history as they visited the Western Wall in the Old City. As the last remnant of the ancient Holy Temple, the Western Wall has held a prominent spot in Jewish consciousness for centuries. Since the establishment of the modern State of Israel in 1948 and more importantly, since the reunification of Jerusalem in 1967, Jews from around the world have made the journey to be able to touch the stones of the Western Wall and pray at this holy site. In a great show of solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people, Trump is the first sitting US President to have visited the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Jerusalem Log #8 - "Thankful" Monday 05.08.17 Jerusalem, Israel

"Thankful"
Jerusalem Log #8
Monday 05.08.17
Jerusalem, Israel

Be blessed this day, as I write once again from Jerusalem.

This is my last 24 hours in Israel for this “almost annual” trip. Though each day I didn’t have a schedule, the Lord truly did direct my steps. As I committed myself to Him, He led me to new places, meet new people, and see His hand upon this Promised Land of the Jews.

With the friends I stayed with, time spent with shop owners and others along the way, standing with the people of Israel continues to grow stronger in my heart. This is the Lord’s plan. This is the Lord’s purpose – for believers to stand with their Jewish brothers and sisters, looking forward together for the coming of the Messiah. For some, it is in Yeshua’s (Jesus’) return. For others, it will be meeting Him for the first time, as He comes as King this time.

As I have written often, we are blessed if we pay back in the natural as we have received in the spiritual. It is through the Jews that the Prophets, the Written Word, and the Messiah have all come. Our support for them, as they come back to the Land and themselves are a witness to the world of His faithfulness, will bring the blessing even more upon those who stand with them.

Thank you Israel for your commitment to be who you are called to be. Our commitment is to be with you.

Ahava (love) and Shalom (peace) from Israel!

It's Time to Return to the Promised Land ✡ "I Will Be With Thee" - ISRAEL365

And Hashem said unto Yaakov: ‘Return unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee.’

Today's Israel Inspiration

With these words God implies that He will be with Jacob only if he returns to the land of his fathers, the Land of Israel, but not if he stays with Laban in Haran. Rabbi Meir Leibush Weiser explains that God intentionally removed his protection from Jacob in order to motivate Him to return to the Land of Israel. After spending so much time outside the Holy Land it is time to go home. Discover more incredible insights like this one with The Israel Bible.

Gaining Inspiration from
the Flag of Israel

Before we are redeemed we must verbally commit ourselves to Hashem and not become haughty through our success. This commitment takes the form of prayer in which we must make explicit our affirmation to believe in G-d.

Jaffa Gate is one of eight gates allowing entry into the old city of Jerusalem. Did you know that its unique angled position is thought to have been created intentionally, purposefully oriented in the direction of Jaffa Road, from which pilgrims arrived at the end of their journey from the port of Jaffa.
