Did The Latest Blood Moon Signal a Change at the Temple Mount?

“And Solomon commenced to build the House of the Lord in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where He had appeared to his father David, which he had prepared in David’s place, in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.” (II Chronicles: 3:1)
On the last day of the previous Shmitta year, and just two weeks before the appearance of the latest Blood Moon, Arabs armed with pipe bombs clashed with Israeli police on the Temple Mount. At that time, Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan said that as a result of this incident, Israel would have to reconsider the status quo on the Temple Mount. In an official statement, Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas painted the incident as one of Israeli police aggression against innocent Muslims.
Ever since then, tensions on the Temple Mount continue to violently and rapidly escalate.
Rabbi Yehuda Glick, founder of the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation and internationally known for his work on the Temple Mount, connects the future redemption of the Jewish people with the current clash between Jews and Muslims on the Temple Mount that escalated on the final day of the previous Shmitta year.
He assured Breaking Israel News that the holy site is centrally important to the ultimate redemption of the Jewish people. “By all means,” he said, “there is no doubt about it, that the next step in this wonderful process of redemption of the people of Israel and of the entire world will be via Temple Mount! Here in Israel, the situation is forcing us to deal with this topic, which we have been going out of our way to ignore.”
What does Shmittah, Blood Moons and the coming Jubilee have in common? Find out now!
Hashem (God) is definitely not letting us get away from confronting the core of the entire issue. I pray daily that this step will go ahead with minimum pain suffering and bloodshed,” he told Breaking Israel News.
However, how do the Blood Moons and the Jubilee fit into explaining today’s Temple Mount conflict?
When the Blood Moon cycles are examined, it becomes clear that each Blood Moon tetrad that fell on Jewish holidays brought the world a step closer to restoration of Jewish sovereignty on the Temple Mount.
The Blood Moon tetrads of 1949-50 occurred when the Land of Israel was restored to the Jewish people. The Blood Moon tetrads of 1967-68 occurred when the holy city of Jerusalem was reunited and returned to the dominion of the Jewish people. Today, in the era of the 2014-15 tetrad, the world’s attention is focused on the Temple Mount. The Blood Moon cycles are creating concentric circles around the Temple Mount, home of the Bible’s Holy Temples.

Pro-Israel Christian Bob O’Dell, co-author of the book “Israel FIRST!” discussed this pattern with Breaking Israel News, explicitly mentioning the Jubilee and God’s promise, found in Leviticus, that land is to be returned to the original owner in the Jubilee year.
“But if he cannot afford enough to repay him, his sale shall remain in the possession of the one who has purchased it, until the Jubilee year. And then, in the Jubilee year, it shall go out and return to his possession.” (Leviticus 25:28)
O’Dell told Breaking Israel News, “In our book, ‘Israel FIRST!’ where we examine the Blood Moons, the Shemitah, and the Jubilee, we see patterns in both the Blood Moons and the Jubilee that could lead to the restoration of Jewish worship on the Temple Mount, but for different reasons. The Blood Moons signal the rebirth of the nation of Israel in successive phases – first the nation, and then the capital. Might the next phase be the Temple Mount?”
“The Jubilee year is about the restoration of property that was sold away by your forefathers. Within a few weeks following the Six Day War in 1967, the control of the Temple Mount was handed back to the Muslims. In Jubilee years, God has repeatedly shown a pattern of restoring lands to the Jewish people. Might it happen again this Jubilee with regard to the Temple Mount?”

Will God or the Messiah Build the Third Holy Temple? - Rivkah Lambert Adler

Will God or the Messiah Build the Third Holy Temple?

“And they shall make Me a sanctuary and I will dwell in their midst.” (Exodus 25:8)
Efforts are underway to make the Third Jewish Temple a reality. From preparing vessels to be used in ritualistic service to raising red heifers, controversy arises when questioning who can exactly prepare for and construct the Third Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
The opinion that the Third Temple will be built by human hands and that the Messiah will have a major role in its rebuilding is most famously ascribed to the Rambam, a renowned 12th century Jewish Bible scholar from Spain. Rambam taught that the very fact that the Temple is being rebuilt will be a major sign that humanity has reached the End of Days.
There is an opposing Jewish philosophy that asserts that the Third Temple already exists in Heaven and will descend onto the Temple Mount at the time God deems is proper. This position is generally associated with Rashi, the preeminent Biblical commentator who lived in 11th century France.
Which is correct? And what will the role of the Messiah be in building the Third Temple?
One way of reconciling these points of view is related to the two accounts of Temple construction in the Bible. The details of the First Temple, known as Solomon’s Temple, are described in the Book of Kings, beginning in the sixth chapter. This description is extensive and quite detailed. The First and Second Temples were built according to the directions that appear in the Book of Kings.
Let's Rebuild the Temple Now!
There is another description of Temple architecture in the Book of Ezekiel, beginning in chapter 40. This description is much less detailed, veiled in ambiguous prophecy and much more difficult to understand.
The two descriptions come together in the teaching that the Messiah will oversee the construction of those elements of the Third Temple, which can be understood from the Book of Kings. Following that stage of work on the Third Temple, God will explain the construction elements from the prophecy of Ezekiel that are not currently understandable. It is this knowledge that will come from Heaven, allowing the Messiah and his laborers to complete the building.
Another way to reconcile the two opinions is to consider that the Jewish people are commanded to build a Temple in Jerusalem to serve as a Sanctuary for God. Thus, the physical building is in the hands of the Jewish nation. Once the Messiah and his workers complete the external structure, the Presence of God will descend, filling the Third Temple with holiness.
Until the End of Days, we will not know which of these opinions is correct. However, world-renowned Temple Mount activist and founder of the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation Rabbi Yehuda Glick told Breaking Israel News why he is solidly in the camp of those who believe that the Third Temple will be built by human hands.
“Anyone who understands the concept of Bet Hamikdash – The Temple – knows that there nothing that contradicts this concept more than a Temple from heaven! The whole idea of the mikdash [a holy place] is that we build Him a sanctuary just as He creates us a world.”

Today's Israel Inspiration

In today's verse, from the book of Isaiah, God promises to eternally remember those who follow in His ways.  They will receive an "everlasting name" in His house.  To be remembered in the holiest of locations is a great blessing.  In Jerusalem today, we remember those that have been killed in terrorist attacks and we carry on their good names with our good deeds in the land of Israel.

US Backs Suppression of Religious Freedom on Temple Mount

US Backs Suppression of Religious Freedom on Temple Mount

Tuesday, November 04, 2014 |  Ryan Jones  ISRAEL TODAY
In the wake of the attempted assassination of Rabbi Yehuda Glick, a prominent advocate of allowing Jews to worship atop the Temple Mount, the Obama Administration confirmed that it supports the suppression of full religious freedom at the Jerusalem holy site.
During a press conference last Friday, State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki was asked to articulate the White House’s reaction to the shooting of Glick, a US citizen, by a Palestinian Muslim terrorist.
In her bumbling and somewhat evasive response, Psaki said that while the Obama Administration condemn’s the shooting, it continues to oppose Glick’s efforts to open the Temple Mount to Jewish and Christian worshippers.
“We support the long-standing practices regarding non-Muslim visitors to the site, to Haram al-Sharif / Temple Mount,” said Psaki. “And consistent with our respect for the status quo, we would like to see it returned to that.”
Those “long-standing practices” have been to deny Jewish and Christians visitors the right to worship, pray or carry Bibles atop the Muslim-controlled Temple Mount, despite the fact that it is for all Jews and many Christians the most holy site on earth.
Many Jews and Christians have been detained even for mouthing silent prayers while visiting the Temple Mount.
To clarify that it is, indeed, this denial of freedom of worship that the Obama Administration supports, a reporter pressed Psaki: “You condemn the shooting of an American citizen who had advocated for non-Muslim worshippers to be able to go. But you don’t support [his cause?]”
She responded in the affirmative: “Our position hasn’t changed on this issue. That’s true. …It doesn’t mean we don’t condemn, of course, the shooting.”
Seizing the opportunity provided by Washington, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas on Monday released a statement rejecting the very presence of Jews atop the Temple Mount.
“Break-ins by the settlers and Jewish extremists” to the Temple Mount are an affront to “Muslim sensitivities,” read the statement.
A day earlier, Israel Police Chief Yohanan Danino told a Knesset hearing that security forces would do everything in their power ensure Jews and Christians were able to continue ascending the Temple Mount, but insisted the aforementioned “status quo” would be maintained at the holy site.
