Rejoicing and Celebration On the Streets of Jerusalem and America

I do not care what anybody says, God called this nation to be a light. Yes, it has flaws – so does Israel.

"Yes, it has imperfections, but did I call My people to perfection? I said you would be a light shining in a dark place. I said you would be a hand that would feed the hungry. And I gave you oil to heal nations. And I gave you My breath to sing. Even your national anthem has My breath on it.

"Now there are foes – ISIS is not an Islamic State. It is a god that was worshiped centuries and millennia ago, starting with Nimrod. That same spirit has rested upon the east, Middle East, and is knocking at your door. But you have acknowledged Me as the Lord God of your nation.

"ISIS will cease to influence and exist on the streets of My soil.

"America and Israel and western nations, you shall put your fist down on Turkey. You shall put your fist down on Russia, Syria, and Iran.

"ISIS! Heads have been taken from children. I do not like that!" says the Lord. "Therefore, I have come to the earth to examine and to inspect, to see how I shall judge you in the presence of your enemies.

"No 9/11 attempt shall be to their satisfaction," says the Lord, "no, but watch Chicago and watch Michigan, for there are terrorists that draw closer and closer to banish the sounds of praise. 

Israel has praised Me and shall continue. My people, ecclesia, shall praise Me, and they shall continue. Therefore, I am the guardian of this nation and I will put a stop to it and expose, expose, expose in the fall until you realize that I have spoken and it is so," says the Lord of Hosts.

What you have is a permeating of hope coming to you from one who has stepped into the future as far as 2019. That's what I've done by His Spirit to tell you that a season of war cannot remain a season of war. 

Seasons change; this will come to an end and rejoicing and celebration will once again be in the streets of Jerusalem and in the streets of America. That is all I have to say about that! (Photo via Wikimedia)

This is the latter part of what the Spirit gave me:

"What have I prepared for New Zealand? What have I prepared for Ukraine? What have I prepared for Russia, Estonia, Europe, and the Middle East? 

Yes, Yeshua is moving to a people who are dissatisfied. 'There is only one god but Allah,' they say, 'There is only one god but Allah.' Would you like to know what the Lord has to say? There is only one God but God; there is only one God but God, and I will go where I wish.

At Israel's Birthday in 2018

"I was able to tear down the wall through Ronald Reagan, and the curtain, but there are two more walls that will come down. And in 2018, at the celebration of Israel's birthday, there shall be an outpouring of My Spirit in Israel like it has not had since the days of David and the days of Jesus. You listen to Me, everybody.

"But I have prepared My Holy Spirit, who is part of our Godhead, our Trinity, to bring upon the earth, and especially America, Canada, France, the Netherlands, Germany, and many others, a move of the Holy Spirit that will creep over into the streets of the Middle East. And there shall be Damascus Road conversions take place in the highest places in terrorist organizations, and they shall come out and they shall reveal the truth and the evil of Islam. And there shall be a shaking in the kingdom, and the way that I shook in 1900 at the turn of the Century, in 1948, in the '60s and the '70s – I will accumulate them all in one and I shall pour out of My Spirit with a global renewal," says the Lord.

Hallelujah

[While singing the modern day Hallelujah,] I want you to hear me please, because that song, not even specifically the melody, but the "Hallelujah" will suddenly emerge and begin to be sung all over the world. They say that Islam is attracting young people, but the Spirit told me, and I saw this, all over the world Jesus became popular. Jesus became famous again. A fame that is worthy of Him.

Conversions will take place in universities and schools, and the people that are professors and teachers that have taught all those erroneous things –"In the presence of these, I will raise up scientists that will speak the truth, and it will spread. And people will try and stop it, but it will not be stopped. This shall spread, and spread, and spread, and there will be no control, for it shall be like a river." That's what I saw.

Now, many of you watching all over the world, you know what I do. There is an altar. You've heard directly from the Spirit of God, how He is going to move from one nation to the other through the streets. 

House churches will be just about in every street in the United States of America and in Europe. Every street, every neighborhood, shall have the ability to hear the Gospel of the Kingdom, for God will not allow His Son to return but will retain Him until the fulfillment of every prophetic word that the prophets prophesied.

And the one thing that is being restored at this very moment in the midst of rubble, in the midst of clay, in the midst of mire, is the Tabernacle of David. The restoration of the Tabernacle of David will bring about souls into the Kingdom by the millions, the tens of millions; and it shall be known, spoken about by Time Magazine.

A New Online Magazine – By Scientists Who Are Christians

And I saw a new magazine that is also going to come forth, not necessarily on paper alone, of course not, it'll be on the Internet – that shall speak of Christ.

But it shall use the finest of scientists, the finest of athletes, the finest of artists, the finest of economists and business people. Prosperity is at our door. Now you may say that doesn't look possible. Do not say that, because what God requires from you now is faith. You see, faith is the only thing that can please God. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him. If you're watching me now, you heard the word of the Lord.

The Spirit of the Lord would love to speak today: "Let Me say My words that the earth may hear. I am the Creator of the ends of the earth. I know the evil that man can do, but I also know the good that man can do. What you see on your borders shall go on, but," God says, "I am the watcher of your borders. I am the guardian of the borders, for ISIS shall make their way. However, as I disarmed the enemies of Israel, I shall surprise them with angels that are watching over you. 

Now I want you to prophesy to America's borders and say, 'There are angels, angels watching over you.'"

The Spirit of God says, "Hear Me, please. The nations that are entering in illegally, I have a huge plan for the Latino people. I have a massive plan that will shake ISIS, that will shake the terrorist organizations that are creeping into your nation. Conversions will take place as they cross your border. Are you hearing Me?

"They are entering into holy ground," says the Lord. "The blood of your forefathers was given and granted this land through prayers, through sweat, through tears, and through blood. Will I forget that? No! Watch the fall – the change and the shift. And I will cause you to stand and say, 'I never dreamed that this would happen in the fall.' Oh winter, oh winter, how beautiful is your snow all over the nation! Rejoice, for winter shall be a time of great rejoicing," says the Lord.

I heard Him saying, "There are wells that are open but empty. No springs in your business, your home, your nation, your leaders, your churches." He said, "They've been waiting for the well to come earthbound from below, but," God said, "they've been looking in the wrong place. For the wells will be filled from the water from above. This is different. America shall not go into a full-scale war. 

Even though it is the desire of the people, I have placed My knee onto the head of this President.

"I am speaking. The hard neck of Pharaoh actually brought miracles upon Israel in Egypt. The stubbornness of Pharaoh brought great judgments upon the enemy, and there is a stubbornness that I have allowed in this nation to bring liberty and freedom and judgment upon your enemies that are coming to your land.

"I will pardon the stupidity of the removal of My presence and the people in Iraq, because they were waiting to come into those nations. But," God says, "I will yet honor the prayers of presidents past who are praying right now. There is an old man, President George Herbert Bush, who is praying. I am hearing him. There is George W. Bush – forget his politics! He is praying! I am hearing him!" says the Lord.

Tortured in Ukraine: Christians Living a Nightmare

EASTERN UKRAINE -- Ukraine's evangelical Christians are bearing the brunt of the country's conflict, often with deadly consequences.

It's a scene that has played in Elena Velichko's head over and over. Pro-Russian rebels took over her hometown in early April. Her husband Vladimir told her to take the kids and leave the city.

"He took us to the train station and we said goodbye. He said, 'I love you.' He kissed me and kissed the children and left," Elena said.

Several days later, her life and that of her eight children, ages 2 to 16, suddenly turned upside down.

Surreal Reality

It was June 8, Pentecost Sunday. The church was half empty. That's because the city was under tremendous assault by both the pro-Russian separatists and the Ukrainian army.

Once the church service ended everybody made their way to the front of the church to go home.

But then the unimaginable happened.

"The church called and said my husband, along with three other believers, had been taken by men who were waiting outside the church," Elena said.

Alexander Gayvoronski, a church deacon, was there that Sunday morning.

"The men wore masks and had machine guns. They told the four Christian men to get into their cars," Gayvoronsi said.

The rebels took the pastor's sons, Ruvim and Albert Pavenko, Victor Brodarsky, and Elena's husband, Vladimir.

Multiple sources told CBN News what then happened to the four Christian captives.

First rebels took them outside the city and tortured them. The next day the men were put in car and told to drive away.

Then, minutes later they were recaptured and shot multiple times. Elena's husband was burned in the car.

"I don't hate my husband's killers. It is easy to start asking questions. Why did this happen? But if I keep thinking about this it will only wear me out," Elena said.

Christians Targeted

That same day rebels burned down the largest furniture factory that belonged to Ruvim and Albert Pavenko's father.

It had become clear rebels were targeting the city's evangelical community.

Sergey Demidovich, a top evangelical leader in Slavyansk, said Christians face constant threat.

"I never thought in the 21st century, in [a] free country as Ukraine, it was possible to experience this level of persecution," Demidovich said. "The separatists saw Protestant Christians as enemies. They viewed us as cults."

But the persecution was just getting started.

"All the Protestant churches in the city were either taken over by rebels or forced to close. We were forbidden to meet for services and the leadership forced to leave or be under risk of arrest," Demidovich said.

And the persecution is spreading far beyond just this city. Throughout the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as rebels gain more territory, assaults against evangelicals are growing.

Two pastors told CBN News they were arrested and tortured for their faith.

"If I went to Donetsk today I would be arrested at the first checkpoint and put in jail," Oleg, a pastor from Donetsk, said. "The last time I was in prison they beat me up so badly, but I kept preaching the gospel and telling them to repent."

Unwavering Faith

Many believe the persecution is linked to pressure from the Russian Orthodox Church, and the pro-Russian rebels are only happy to do their bidding.

"When I was in prison, a rebel soldier told me they have an order to kill all the Christian pastors who are not part of the Russian Orthodox Church," Anatoly, a pastor from Luhansk, said.

While that has forced some to go underground, others are deciding to stay.

"Many heroes were born out of this conflict -- men and women who are boldly sharing their faith and helping those caught in the war," Oleg said.

Elena Velichko said there's not a day that goes by that she doesn't think of that last goodbye, that final kiss she had with her husband at the train station.

But she is unwavering in her faith, trusting God to take care of her, the children, and Ukraine.

"People often ask me how I am doing. I tell them about a mighty God who can heal our hearts, maybe not as quickly as we would like it, but the process is going on and the prayers of people around the world help," Elena said.

"The biggest thing you can do for me is to pray for me and my family, about the future of my children and my country," she said.

As tensions between Kiev forces and pro-Russian separatists escalate in eastern Ukraine, Christians are increasingly becoming targets of persecution in areas controlled by insurgents.

Acts of aggression include kidnappings, beatings, and killings, including the murder of four ministers several weeks ago.

According to Sergey Rakhuba, president of Russian Ministries, the rebels view evangelicals as enemies.

"In one of the towns, they even raised the Orthodox flag and said they would fight any heretic, any Protestant, anyone who represents any Western immoral values," he told Mission News Now.

Despite the violence, many pastors have chosen to remain in the war-torn region.

Rakhuba said one pastor told him, "'I'm staying here because I cannot abandon my flock. I cannot abandon those who are trapped here.'"

"There are hundreds of pastors that are doing the same thing," Rakhuba said.

Though the Federal Aviation Administration ultimately lifted its ban on flights to and from Israel, the reaction to increased violence in the region nonetheless resulted in widespread backlash in that country and in the U.S.

The prohibition was initially put in place Tuesday and lasted for a total of about 36 hours.

Sen. Ted Cruz took a firm stance against the ban by putting action behind his words of disapproval.

In a press release published Wednesday, he explained that he would “hold all State Department nominees until the Obama Administration answers questions about its unprecedented decision to cancel flights to Israel, while at the same time announcing continuing aid that will be funneled to the terrorist organization, Hamas.”

Hamas-sponsored terrorists are responsible for firing countless missiles into Israel over the past several weeks. The organization has also been attacked for its alleged use of human shields in the face of oncoming rockets, which has potentially increased Palestinian deaths along the Gaza Strip.

Cruz had five specific questions for the administration to answer before he again addresses potential appointees.

First, he wants to know who made the decision and whether it was a partisan statement by the Obama administration. He also asked why, if the FAA was ostensibly concerned about safety, other hotbeds of violence – such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Yemen – were not included in the ban.

With a commercial flight recently shot down over Ukraine, Cruz also wants answers regarding the process behind singling out Israel in the decision.

He asked whether the FAA communicated with the White House in considering the ban and, if so, why such contact was needed for a safety decision the department otherwise could have made on its own.

Finally, he said he wants to know whether this was truly based on a safety concern or whether it was a retaliatory measure meant to compel Israel to comply with Secretary of State John Kerry’s “demand that Israel stop their military effort to take out Hamas’s rocket capacity.”

A State Department source dismissed Cruz’s questions as “offensive and ridiculous,” prompting the conservative senator to defend his inquiry.

“Serious questions were asked about the nature of a decision that handed Hamas a public relations victory and will cost Israel billions of dollars,” he asserted. “The only thing offensive about this situation is how the Obama Administration is spurning our allies to embolden our enemies. The only thing ridiculous is the administration’s response to basic questions.”

Anatoly Lazaurenko’s face betrays no emotion as he watches footage of an old woman he used to know lying in the rubble of what once was his home in the war-torn city of Slavyansk.

Oblivious to her mangled face, Anatoly, 8, points to a corner of the computer screen to indicate the bombed-out apartment in eastern Ukraine that his family fled last month as a tense standoff between pro-Russian separatists and Ukrainian government forces escalated into urban warfare.

Like many Ukrainians, the boy has become inured to disturbing sights after months of violent conflict in his country. Even after watching the video, Anatoly says he would rather be home — under fire, but with his friends and classmates. But his mother insists they are staying with relatives near Dnepropetrovsk, far from the battle zone, as long as the fighting persists.

“Every day Anatoly asks me in tears if we can go back yet,” says his mother, Ludmila.

The Lazaurenkos are among hundreds of Jews made refugees by the fighting in eastern Ukraine, part of a larger movement of tens of thousands of people who have fled since pro-Russian militias — some toting heavy caliber machine guns and mortars — took up arms against government troops in March.

Hundreds already have died in the fighting, including the 200 passengers and crew aboard a Malaysia Airlines jet shot down over eastern Ukraine on Thursday by what American and Ukrainian officials say was a Russian anti-aircraft missile fired from rebel-controlled territory.

On Friday, two Jews — Svetlana Sitnikov and her daughter, Anna — were killed in an explosion in the eastern city of Lugansk.

The Jewish refugees are surviving on assistance from local and foreign Jewish groups that in recent weeks have launched major rescue and relief operations. The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee and community officials are helping to provide housing, monthly stipends, food and medicine in what they describe as one of largest mobilizations in the history of Ukrainian Jewry.

“We’re talking about a multi-element package designed to improve the situation of each and every person who left the battle zone,” said Yoni Leifer, the head of operations in the Dnepropetrovsk region for JDC. A separate relief operation is being carried out by the Chabad-led Jewish community of Dnepropetrovsk.

The Lazaurenkos decided to leave Slavyansk last month after government forces began engaging the separatists. But Ludmila Lazaurenko does not blame Ukrainian troops, who launched their offensive following the standoff with the rebels.

“We were pro-Russian,” Lazaurenko said of herself and her parents, Nadezhda and Alexander Belovol, who fled with her and Anatoly. “But that changed after we saw how they fought from inside the houses of civilians, with no regard for their lives. There is no excuse for that.”

Two weeks after the family left, they learned from a television news broadcast that their house had been blown up.

“We started crying when we saw that nothing was left,” Lazaurenko said. “We have nothing now.”

For those without relatives to take them in, JDC and the Jewish community of Dnepropetrovsk have arranged rooms in the community’s various institutions. The Beit Baruch old age home reached its capacity last week after 28 people were given spots in vacant rooms.

Among them are Rosa Dvoskina and Sofia Sanina, two women in their 80s who fled Slavyansk and Lugansk, respectively, earlier this month.

“I made it out, but I can’t stop thinking about my poor friends and neighbors who are still trapped there without water or medicines in a place full of death,” said a weeping Dvoskina, who had lived in her apartment building for 40 years before having to leave.

Like most refugees, Dvoskina and Sanina say they fled out of a general concern for safety unrelated to the fact that they are Jewish. But their neighbors at Beit Baruch, an Orthodox family of seven from Donetsk who requested not to be named, said anti-Jewish graffiti began to appear in the city as the rule of law weakened.

“We started seeing swastikas painted on park benches, buildings,” the family’s grandfather said.

Amid lingering uncertainty about the future of Ukraine’s embattled eastern border cities, Dvoskina and Sanina are thinking about immigrating to Israel, though they would prefer to return to their homes. Other refugees, including Elena Libina from Donetsk, are determined to leave permanently for Israel.

Libina is staying in a community facility in Dnepropetrovsk only until her immigration application is approved. Meanwhile, the Jewish community is arranging for the rescue of her 91-year-old aunt, who remains trapped in Lugansk.

“We felt the tension rising and noticed that bus tickets out of the city were increasingly becoming more expensive,” Libina told JTA. “When they bombed the administration building, I left.”

Dnepropetrovsk is one of Ukraine’s largest Jewish communities, with 50,000 members. Several oligarchs, including the banking magnate Igor Kolomoisky, have poured millions into the community’s institutions, including several Jewish schools and the $100 million Menorah Jewish Community Center, a 450,000 square-foot facility that includes luxury mikvah baths, kosher restaurants, a Holocaust museum and a day care center.

Zelig Brez, the community’s director general and right hand of the city’s influential chief rabbi, Shmuel Kamenetsky, said organizing the rescue and relief operation isn’t merely a religious duty but part of his responsibility toward Ukraine’s smaller Jewish communities.

“It comes with the territory of being an engine of Jewish life in Ukraine,” Brez said.

The community has made wide use of its facilities to help house the refugees. Elena Konigina and her 12-year-old daughter, Ksenia, have stayed at a scenic countryside resort near the Dnepropetrovsk suburb of Pavlograd since they fled Lugansk in May.

Konigina would like to immigrate to Israel, but Ksenia is a minor and cannot exit the country without the consent of both parents. Konigina says she does not know how to reach Ksenia’s father, whom she divorced several years ago.

Even if she could go, Konigina worries that the situation in the Jewish state won’t be much better.

“I don’t know what good that will do,” Konigina said. “They are shooting there, too.”

Dear Mr. President,

Can you please tell me which world you were referring to, when, just the other day, you declared to Tumblr users (I am assuming that Tumblr is not a drug) that the world "is less violent than it has ever been?"

I find it very confusing, because on the one hand you claim you learned about the IRS scandal and the Veteran's Affairs wait-list scandal from the media, and on the other hand, it appears you don't even pay attention to the world news.

Not only is the world not the safest it has ever been, it is the most dangerous it has ever been! And much of the downfall has taken place with your White House in deeper denial than the former Information Minister of Iraq—aka Bagdad Bob! (Remember him? "There are no American infidels in Baghdad. Never!" Well, you are starting to sound like him.) While you and Mr. Kerry claim, "Peace and safety!" the world is falling into chaos.

Cairo Speech

It was just over five years ago, a freshly inaugurated Barack Obama confidently marched into Egypt to give your "A New Beginning" speech to the Muslim world. You should have called it the "I'm Not Bush" speech, because we all know that was its real purpose. That day you boldly proposed "a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect."

How's that working?

Not even the fact you gave your very first post-inaugural interview to the Arab cable network, Al Arabia, (instead of NBC, ABC or CBS) won you any lasting good will in the Muslim world.

I don't believe the silly rumors that you are a secret Muslim. You are a humanist. And you were convinced that your human powers of charm and persuasion would cause the Arab world to lay down their weapons. Surely once they see that America is not all 'cowboys clinging to their guns and religion.' But you see Mr. President, it takes two to tango, and I don't think Muslims are allowed to dance.

Nobel Peace, yet No Peace

For all your rhetoric you were richly rewarded, as if you actually changed something on the ground—but your reward did not come from the Arab countries seeking peace and repudiating radicalism. Instead, the Nobel Peace Prize folks crowned you the Prince of Peace 2009, and gave you a million dollars. How does their press release from 2009 sound now?

The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided that the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 is to be awarded to President Barack Obama for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples ... Obama has as President created a new climate in international politics ... Dialogue and negotiations are preferred as instruments for resolving even the most difficult international conflicts. Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world's attention and given its people hope for a better future.

My goodness, it's like they were declaring you Messiah! Sounds pretty funny now, right? If only Al-Qaeda had as much faith in you as the Norwegians.

Let's just take a look at what has happened in "Obama's World" since you were awarded for your "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy."

There was an attack by Al-Qaeda on 9/11/2012 on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that left an ambassador, a staffer and two Navy Seals dead—two Seals who were protecting U.S. diplomats, while they awaited help that never came. It was followed by, what many see, as a cover-up by your administration. You, Jay Carney and, who can forget, Sunday Morning Susan (Rice), emphatically and repeatedly declared—even after all the evidence was pointing to a coordinated terror attack—that it was merely a spontaneous uprising because of an anti-Islam YouTube video. (As if people getting so angry over a video that they kill American is so much better than terror.)

Civil war has erupted in Syria, resulting in more than 150,000 deaths of innocent noncombatants, creating a refugee crisis of nearly 10,000,000 people. Even chemical weapons have been used to kill innocent children.

Egypt, the Middle East's largest country, went through a revolution that propelled the terror group, The Muslim Brotherhood, into power. While they systematically persecuted their own people, trampling their democratic freedoms, your administration stood by them because they were "democratically elected." When the military responded to the pleas of the people, your team stood with the Hamas-aligned Brotherhood.

Also in Egypt, we continue to see the systemic persecution of Christians by Islamic groups. Read this harrowing account of the murdering a young Christian woman by an angry horde of Muslims.

Meanwhile in Iran, human rights are denied to citizens, and Christians are persecuted. Iran continues to make advances in their efforts to build a nuclear bomb, while John Kerry makes deals with the devil and declares triumph.

Mass shootings in America are becoming a regular occurrence. I remember when a mass shooting was shocking. Now it is just news.

In Nigeria, nearly 300 schoolgirls were kidnapped and could be sold as child brides. (Yes, in the least violent time in world history, little girls are forced to marry older perverts.) The Nigerian terror group Boko Haram has continued to attack Christians in Nigeria, killing over 12,000 people.

Putin, thumbing his nose at you and the west, marched into Crimea and took sovereign Ukrainian territory by force. In a city where my family and I lived for a year, Odessa, 42 people were killed on May 4th. Putin's actions are reminiscent of the Cold War and many analysts (not in your White House, of course) are convinced he wants to return Russia to her former glory—by force.

And this week, even as you proclaimed with the tumblrites, with your head fully entrenched in sand, that the world was the safest it has ever been, an Al-Qaeda-affiliated group known as The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, (ISIS) is taking over Iraq one city at time. This group is so violent, that even Al-Qaeda considers them radical! You were so eager to be the anti-Bush and get our troops out of Iraq, that you left the nation vulnerable. Whether for or against the Iraq war, one thing is now clear: it was for naught.

Reports of Iraqi policemen laying down their arms and deserting are a clear sign we had not finished the job. Today we see thousands of Iraqi soldiers have been executed by fellow Muslims. How in the world did your intelligence agencies not see this coming?

I could go on and talk about North Korea, Cuba, the three teens kidnapped by Hamas this week in Israel, and the spread of Islamic nationalism in Africa, but I know you are enjoying your vacation and don't want to bring you too close to the depressing reality, lest it affect your golf game.

My focus is on ministry. I write about faith. But every now and then, something happens in which I feel compelled to use this platform to speak out.

Your administration sought to befriend the Muslim world. It earned you a million bucks and a trophy, but resulted in zero change on the ground. In fact, the world is in its most perilous moment in history. Never has there been so many radicals on earth with weapons of this magnitude.Yes, quite the opposite of your utopian view.

With the handing over of five terrorists for a deserter at best, and a traitor at worst, (without any counsel from Congress or the intelligence community), you have set the stage for American travelers—innocent men, women and children—to be kidnapped and held for ransom by the most vicious, evil people on earth. Two weeks after you released these killers, an American (and two Israelis) have been kidnapped by Hamas. While they may have been wanting to kidnap Israelis for some time, I can imagine that there were encouraged by your reckless, autonomous behavior.

No, Mr. President. You are dead wrong. The world is not the least violent it has ever been—it is the most violent. It is powder keg ready to explode—and this is your foreign affairs legacy.
