I appreciate his vulnerability in his testimony and I know it will help many of you, bringing healing and wholeness.
Andrew shares this awesome word of the Lord:
I hear the Spirit of God declaring to you today, "This is your season to breakout! Refuse to allow yourself to be boxed into the 'small' by the enemy. Believe what I have spoken and watch what I am doing. It has already begun..."
There is much more in this word...and I'll let you read the rest for yourself! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

Sing, O Barren!
While on vacation with my family, I laid down in the bed and I heard the Lord say, "I am causing every barren area to begin to produce. Prepare for multiplication."
I then opened my Bible to Psalm 113:9"He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord."
Many have been living in a place of bareness. It seems as though everywhere you turn you are facing famine. God has heard your cry and He has seen your tears. He is bringing enlargement to you.
"Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord.
"Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; for thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited." (Isaiah 54:1-3)
It is easy to "sing" after you have the baby but it is very difficult to sing when you are barren. Your song is a weapon of deliverance. It is an instrument of miracles. There is power in your praise. (Photo via Pixabay)
Sowing a Seed in the Barren Desert
My wife had a condition that made it very difficult for her to conceive and carry a baby to term. Nevertheless, God had confirmed to us through many prophetic words that we would have babies.
After a few years of going through fertility treatments, miscarriages and disappointments, we finally thought God had answered our prayers. Every Wednesday night we met with a team of intercessors to pray. We could not wait to tell our prayer warriors that we were going to have a baby. We believed we were in the "safe zone" and we announced our big news to them. They were thrilled. We planned a big surprise announcement for the entire church that Sunday, which was Father's Day. We went to bed with our world feeling perfect.
However, around 2:00 AM my wife was in severe pain and, without going into graphic detail, had miscarried the baby. Our hearts were broken. Just like that everything changed. We had gone from giggling and being ecstatic to sobbing and overwhelming sadness. Many of you understand those moments of your world being turned upside down. Some of you may be facing such a moment even as you're reading this.
Can't You Talk Louder, God?
A minister friend of mine heard about the loss of the baby and graciously called me and volunteered to minister the Father's Day service for me. I was appreciative for his offer but I was determined that I was going to preach the best Father's Day message that I could. I refused to let the devil think that because of this loss that we were giving up on our promise.
My wife's best friend at that time then announced that she was pregnant. We were very happy for her and her husband but could not escape the pain of our loss. Nevertheless, my wife volunteered to throw her a baby shower to celebrate the coming arrival. Trying to protect her because I was keenly aware of her recent devastation, I expressed my concern for her doing so. I will never forget the steadfast look that came on my wife's face as she said, "I am sowing this as a seed for our baby. I will throw her the best baby shower that I possibly can. Andrew, you know the power of a seed!" She planned every last detail of the baby shower as if it was for herself. After all it was her seed and she was believing for a great harvest.
The doctor had said that it would be at least 6 months before there could be a possibility of getting pregnant after the miscarriage—but God! Six weeks later we discovered that she was pregnant with our Giuliana Faith.
We made the determination that we were going to sow seeds of faith in the middle of our barren desert. God had made us a promise and we were not going to give up. (Photo via Unsplash)
This is Your Season to Break Out!
Some of you have promises from God that seem as if they are never coming to pass, but you cannot quit. Don't give up because breakthrough is on the other side of your seed. Your seed of worship breaks the back of bareness. When you sing and cry aloud it releases the "more" that God has promised. The "more" is a place of enlargement. Quit thinking, dreaming and speaking small.
"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us..." (Ephesians 3:20)
When you begin to praise Him in the middle of bareness as if you were already holding the baby, it causes a breakout. "For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited." (Isaiah 54:3)
I hear the Spirit of God declaring to you today, "This is your season to breakout! Refuse to allow yourself to be boxed into the 'small' by the enemy. Believe what I have spoken and watch what I am doing. It has already begun. You will see the manifestation of the promises that I have made to you. Sing! Your song is a weapon that will shift the gear of acceleration."
The void and desolate places are coming to life. The blessing of Abraham for multiplication is being released on you. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

"Are You Called to the Nations? Here Are Keys Just For You!"
Darren Canning, Ontario, Canada

A Trip Around the World

As I write you, I am sitting here at the beginning of a big trip around the world. Over the next month I will completely circumvent the globe. It is an amazing adventure that God is bringing me on. I will be ministering in five nations, but will be landing and praying in four more. In thirty-two days I will have been in 9 nations and have ministered about two dozen times.

This isn't the first time that I have undergone such a journey, and it isn't even my first time doing it alone. I have become accustomed to it – the sense of loneliness that you endure as you are preparing to depart from your family. I look each of my children in the eyes and tell them I love them and that although I am going to be gone for a while, I will still be coming home. My greatest joy is spending time with my family, so for me to leave them is a great sacrifice.

The only reason I would do what I do is because I have been convinced by God that it is my destiny to do it. I am possessed by the Holy Spirit who has filled me with the power and grace to do what I am called to do.

The Challenges of Global Ministry

I am not naive, and I know there will be some challenges that will come my way as I travel. There have been times in the field when I just want to give up and go home.

I am thankful for modern technology, but there have been times when I haven't even been able to rely on it during my travels. My cell phone is only as good as the networks within the countries that I go to.

During my travels, most of the western and Asian countries have been an awesome experience for me, but there have been times that I've had to deal with lapses in being able to contact home and my intercessors. Having an intercessory team that prays for me is like a lifeline when challenges occur!

Walking in Faith and Perseverance

These trips are all about walking in faith. I have seen God move time and time again. He provides for me all the time in such marvelous ways. My expectations of how He will provide are not always guaranteed, and in those moments I can get a little stressed. That is when I am glad to have prayer warriors surrounding me who pray and ask the Lord to bring breakthrough! The team that surrounds me is excellent, and they hear the Lord for me when my stress is too high to hear.

If you haven't walked into the nations not knowing how God is going to provide, it can be unsettling. In my heart of hearts I know everything is going to work out, but hearing from God daily strengthens my perseverance to do what He has called me to do.

Releasing God's Word

Preaching the Gospel boldly is what He has called us to do. There are times when I am in the field and the boldness of the Holy Spirit comes upon me, and I begin to feel a word arise inside of me. I have no idea if that word is going to be received, but I have no choice but to release it.

Many of you know this from experience; you have felt the pulse of the word. When you feel it and when you release it there can be a difference, and feeling a word and releasing a word can be tricky. You have to speak it, but how you speak it is very important. For instance, some cultures don't understand the language that you use, so you often have to say it over and over again.

Our Greatest Strategy: Speaking the Truth

In the nations, time and time again, I have had to deal with powers and principalities over regions. It is a part of what we do. The powers do not want you there. It is as simple as that. I always try to be humble, but when I feel a demonic force in the room I don't bow to it. A power will manifest in many ways and you have to rightly discern it, and in discerning it you have to seek the Holy Spirit for a strategy to overcome.

There is no greater strategy than to simply preach the Word of God. If there is a stronghold of hate then preach love. If there is a stronghold of depression and anxiety, then preach joy. If there is a stronghold of poverty then preach the riches of Heaven. The strongholds will always come down! They have no choice. Every power must bow to the name of Jesus. When you see the lie, speak the truth, and those who are captive to the lie, when they hear the truth, will be set free. Pray that their ears and eyes will be open!

Trust in the Lord, Not Your Outward Appearance

Many will judge you. They will look at your outward appearance and they will not think much of you. You cannot dress or speak in such a way to impress them. If your strength is in your outward appearance when you open your mouth to speak, you will sound like a fool.

Trust in the Lord and He will give you the right words to say. You will be like Ezekiel who spoke to the power of death over that lonely valley and resurrection power raised an entire valley.

Give More Than What You Take

On every trip you will meet wonderful people. These souls will leave you longing to go back to the places time and time again. You will cry with them and you will laugh with them. You will see miracles together and you will see warfare together. You have challenges and you will have victories. Persevere with them and love them. Do not let the darkness over them become the darkness over you, but let your light so shine that you become contagious with joy! God will use you to bring revival everywhere you go – just go!

I could write so much more but I will finish here for today. Always remember that in each meeting, what you do has deeper meaning than the poster you developed for it. If all you are is a famous face to the people and not the true person God created you to be, then don't be surprised when they don't receive you. When it comes to giving, we must always give more than what we take!

Archaeologists Dig Up Definitive Proof of Biblical People, Miracles in Ancient City of Shiloh - CHRIS MITCHELL/CBN NEWS

Archaeologists Dig Up Definitive Proof of Biblical People, Miracles in Ancient City of Shiloh

Driving along the route known as the Way of the Patriarchs in Samaria, the heart of biblical Israel, you'll come to ancient Shiloh.
The Bible says this is the place where Joshua parceled out the promised land to the 12 tribes of Israel. It's also where the tabernacle of the Lord stood for more than 300 years.
Dr. Scott Stripling directs the excavations at Shiloh. Along with dozens of volunteers, he and his crew are digging into history.
"Welcome to ancient Shiloh," Stripling greeted us. "This is the first capital of ancient Israel, and it's a sacred spot because the Mishkan was here, the tabernacle, where people came to connect with God."
"We're dealing with real people, real places, real events," he continued. "This is not mythology. The coins that we excavated today—we're talking about coins of Herod the Great, Pontius Pilate, Thestos, Felix, Agrippa the First, Agrippa the Second. The Bible talks about these people. We've got the image right here."
That "image" includes a fortified wall built by the Canaanites. The team finds a treasure trove of artifacts there, which includes ancient coins and some 2,000 pieces of pottery a day.

Hanukkah miracles - ONE FOR ISRAEL

SHALOM!
This week we are celebrating the eight-day festival of Hanukkah. It's a special time of lighting candles, telling stories of miracles in the temple, and Jewish heroes of old. There are also chocolate coins, spinning tops, and donuts! As a child, it's unlikely Jesus had the same Hanukkah experience as Jewish children today, but we know that He did celebrate Hanukkah, also known as the Feast of Dedication.

"At that time the Feast of Dedication took place at Jerusalem. It was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple..." (John 10:22)
Dr. Erez Soref, President
of ONE FOR ISRAEL
"A GREAT MIRACLE HAPPENED HERE!"
What was the great miracle?

The story told is that in 165 BC, the Jewish Maccabees rose up against the Greeks who had banned all Jewish practice, defiled the temple, and even put their own idols in it. When the Maccabees finally reclaimed (rededicated) the temple, there was only a day's supply of lamp oil for the temple menorah, but it supernaturally lasted for 8 days! I heard someone say it's like having your phone battery down to 10%, but it somehow keeps going for 8 days!

In Jewish communities around the world today, the oil miracle is celebrated with lots of oily food like donuts (sufganiot) and fried potato latkes, and children play games with a spinning top (called a dreidel) with the first letters of the words “A great miracle happened there” on each side: נ-ג-ה-ש (Ness Gadol Hiya Sham). In Israel, however, the dreidel’s letters spell נ-ג-ה-פ (Ness Gadol Hiya Po) “A great miracle happened HERE”. There are many great themes in the Feast of Dedication for those who love Yeshua.
"I needed answers and God visited me!"
Do You Need A Miracle?

Whether it was Moses with his staff or the little boy with a picnic lunch of five loaves and two fish, somehow God likes to start with the little that we’ve got in our hands; practically, materially, emotionally, and spiritually. He wants us to join in with the miracle-making, to work with him, and to contribute to the process. It would require great faith to sacrifice the only thing she had left in her house – a single jar of oil – along with some physical action (not to mention a degree of humility) to go and ask around for all those jars.

“Go borrow for yourself vessels from all your neighbors—empty jars—not just a few. Then go inside and shut the door behind you and behind your sons, and pour into all those vessels, setting aside what is full.” Elisha’s instructions contain one sentence that seems a little strange. “Go inside and shut the door behind you and behind your sons.” Why?
