Laura Jean Unzicker Martin is 55!!! - "My Sweet, Sweet Dove" - a poem from Steve

Laurie Martin

My Sweet, Sweet Dove
Born June 28, 1959

It was a glorious time, that special day in 'Fifty Nine,
When Laura Jean came forth; no cry or whine.
Lorraine and Otto were an especially happy pair
Joining big sisters Linda and Judy  - already there!

Peru, Illinois was His chosen town for thee,
A quiet place in the Midwest you see.
This little Princess, now "Laurie" she heard
As you grew and sang like a pretty bird!

The days passed by as you learned a lot
In schools of the town, from teachers taught.
Summer time at the pool and May's Drug too
Rounded out those years through your high school.

Just past eighteen, down the aisle to meet,
Your charmer named Steve - swept off your feet.
Josh came first, then Ben and Hannah;
Christen was fourth, calling you Mama.

Around the country, to Michigan, the next seven,
Then on to Fort Lauderdale and 7-11.
North Carolina came fast in 1994,
Now it's been 20. Shall we have some more?

In churches and ministries you have served them well,
Singing and giving - I surely do tell.
And now its 55, a number of more grace;
The Good Lord has given you the double place.

Blessings on ye head, my bride, my good wife!
Happy Birthday to you! I think I'll say it twice!
Happy Birthday to you! For it's a day of love,
For Laurie is special, my sweet sweet dove!

From your husband of almost 37,
Love you, my love,
Steve

Blood Red Moons - Carolyn Hyde of Heart of G-d Ministries (Tiberias, Israel)

Blood Red Moons

Blood red moons are due this year

Should we run and hide with fear
Or should we practice standing firm
Armed and ready with this concern:
That we've have asked and been forgiven
That we are Holy Spirit driven
That we are called to watch and pray
With loving hearts, prepare the way
Oh, may we live what we believe
Speaking truth that can't deceive
But cuts to marrow and to bone
The very Words that bring us home

May G-d bless you
and cause His face
to shine upon you always,

RICHARD HYDE

Richard was born in Plainview, Texas. After graduating from Oral Roberts University, he lived in Europe and Asia for five years, planting congregations among indigenous believers. He then studied at the Institute of Holy Land Studies where he completed the course work for a master’s degree in Middle East Studies, with an emphasis in Islam. After returning to the US he met his lovely wife and moved to San Antonio, TX. He was the founding elder and Torah teacher of Beth Simcha Messianic Congregation in San Antonio from 1990- 2000. In 2000 the L-rd called us to move to Germany to work in a reconciliation ministry between Germans and Jews. Miraculously the L-rd called us to make Aliyah from Germany. After arriving in Israel we lived on Mount Carmel in Haifa, but during the war in 2006 we moved to a small village near Tiberius. Currently, Richard is the director of Heart of G-d Ministries, helping to plant and build up new congregations in the Land.

CAROLYN HYDE

Carolyn Margolin-Hyde was raised in an Orthodox Jewish synagogue near Chicago. She graduated from University of Illinois and as an RN, practiced nursing for many years. She led worship at Beth Simcha Congregation for ten years and has served as Worship Chair for the UMJC, Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations. In Israel, Carolyn served as worship leader at K’tsir Asher, The Harvest of Asher Congregation, in Akko, and then led worship at Kehilat Poriya, a congregation near Tiberius. She has written and recorded many worship songs in English and Hebrew and has five worship CD’s. “Deep Calls to Deep” – new soaking CD “The Latter Rain”- contemporary worship songs “Fine Linen” – worship with a touch of the blues “He Will Appear” and “Some of the Best of CH”- congregational worship songs.

A Word of Love From Sweden - Eva Haglund

Shalom Steve!

I wish you a nice beginning of the new year!

I saw on your blog that there were a man who lived in Peru who did painting. Is he a relative? There were nice paintings! My husband comes from Peru.

You wrote about Rick Joyner. I do not know him so much but have gotten a good impression of him. For instance he talks about love in Body of Christ - fellowship and care of each other.

Not so many talk about this and I think it is important to talk about what Jesus did. He prayed that there will be love from God in the Body of Christ, which will be a testimony to the world (John 17:21.) I think it is, for instance, as in Acts 2:46. The enemy has stolen it from quite a lot in the Body of Christ. Instead there sometimes are as if clubs. In 1 Cor.12 we can read that we need each other much in friendship.

Jesus say in John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than this than to lay down ones life for his friend." Jesus talked about love. Why then are there not so many who preach this. To be hospitalble and have fellowship. That is love - not just a smile. There needs to be much more fellowship.

Jesus says also, "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." Sometimes some Christians have a good heart to evangelize but are not interested in friendship. You also have to have friendship so people who get saved have friends to come to.

We can see that Jesus had fellowship. For instance in John 21 they were eating together, talking and Jesus made breakfast and a warm fire. Jesus is the Friend. You can talk to Him when you eat breakfast or go on a walk. He is the best Friend among friends.

Our heavenly Daddy and Jesus have much fellowship and are not impersonal. They talk to each other.

Christian conferences can be good and it can be good to be at one. But if you want to go to conferences, when is there time to have a cup of coffee with a friend and have time with God? I like to be at a good conference but also to have time in fellowship with God and friends.

Jesus gave time and shared His bread. For me this also means fellowship because I think to share bread can also be to talk with each other around a table. Where there is just a club in the Body of Christ I think God wants to restore so it will become as He wants.

There are also friendships but I think there needs to be more. I think also that we are not created just to do things for God or just to ask God for things but to be a close friend to God.

This I think is where worship comes in because it has to do with the relation to God. Dance as unto God I think is also worshiping Him with the body as Mirjam and David did.

To have a relation with God is to read His Word because Jesus is the Word.

I think the Bible symbol for instance can be bread. Jesus is the Bread, the Life of Bread. (John 6:35)

Jesus did not just talk or preach about love For instance, when He told us to wash each others feet, He did this to show care. He lived love. He was like a servant and gave all in love. He is life. He is love.

Thank you for many good things you write and give on the blog!

Blessings,

Eva

A HEAVENLY TREASURE …
Money.
Love. Love not. What will I choose?
Who is God- a hard God?
A God of love?
The money, the idol in the bank.
Is it worth to live for?
Is money, things more worth than care and love?
Who is God?
Did he keep his love in heaven or did he gave?
He gave his Bread - his life…
He gave ALL he had not because he had to but by FREE WILL…
He preached by his life that he is a God of love.
He gave ALL he had in a deepest pain - NAILED for us…
The pain he carried he carried for us - a love more worth than money-
He the King - thought that we were more worth than all money in the world…
You are rich if you have him…

Sharing Love From Sweden - "It Costs"

IT COSTS
by Eva Haglund
(Stockholm, Sweden)

Counseling at breakfast,
talking about the cost;
I could not go because
I did not have the price.

My friends could not go either,
because they could not afford to pay;
My heart was sad thinking,
" Do people have to give
before they get comforted?"

They without money -
are stopped at the door?
Were they who did not have enough
at home for breakfast
Welcome  to the  meal?

Jesus shared the breakfast
at the sea without fee.
The Samaritan comforted too
without a price for he.

Was not the gospel for the poor?
Or just for them with money?
In the church would be agape,
To share our bread and honey.

Will the Bread of life -
the Word from heaven cost?
The Bread came to Bethlehem (House of Bread)
For you, and I, and all lost.

Would  He be welcome today?
Or would we close the door?
He gave His life, His Bread,
He gave his life for the poor.

Share His love to all,
Even as you are able.
Open the door
To the Star in a stable.

Rev.22:16, Luke 10:30-37

Love Shared from Sweden -"A LOVE BEYOND ALL LIMITS - JESUS"

A LOVE BEYOND ALL LIMITS - JESUS

The title He got was criminal.
The royal crown was made of thorns.
The life in aboundness
Was His garments divided.
The palace He went to
Was the cross.

The honor He was shown
Was people turning away.
Their faces in contempt
and a suffering unto death.
He was willing to give up it all -
because of love
He did it for you!

Isaiah 53, John.3:16

Love Shared From Sweden

Sweden's Flag

Editor's note: Occasionally I'll get an e-mail which I like to share with you reading this blog and on our other social media connections. This is one I received Nov. 24, 2013 from a friend in Sweden. (I do not share her name.)
I have shared her poems before. This letter really shows a love for the Jews and people in the Church. She also has a pastor's heart, which I admire. May you be blessed as you too read her words, and the poem which follows.

If you would like to share your heart with us too, please write me at loveforhispeople@gmail.com
If permission to share with others is granted too, I will certainly consider posting it! (Please advise.)

In this letter, whatever is italicized, except for the poem, I added for clarity. I also added the artwork.

Blessings on ye heads!

Shalom Steve!

Thank you for your letter! Often when you write to a ministry it is my experience you do not get any answer at all. But you answer and that is a comfort.

I was crying because I was longing to Israel not because of the Jewish people that evening. But I am also crying for the Jews. I pray regularly for Israel and Jews and I believe as you said as Jesus did when He wept over Jerusalem that we need tears in prayers for the Jews and Israel. Also for other people. We need tears in prayers for our relatives.

I do not have a congregation and pastor/pastors couple just now. Thank you for your comfort. I have many friends but they live in different places but I and a friend also pray that there will come Christians and live close to each other. There will maybe be a new congregation.

Church for me is not meeting just in a church- building even if we need church meetings but the church is not meant to be the building but Body of Christ and Jesus as the head. We can read in 1 Cor.12 about that we Christians need each other much in friendship -not just meet in any church building but as friends .

As a usual body has differents parts we need each other with different gifts. It is not meant that a man will be the church as you sometimes see but the Body of Christ standing together like one man. Today there is much unpersonality in Body of Christ as least as I have seen here.

There can be club when God wants it to be family. It can take time but God do not want club for years, You cannot know all well but if club is all a congregation have then there need to be a change, The relation - friendship with Jesus is however first. He is not impersonal.

We need to forgive people, not being bitter to anyone and prayer needs for Body of Christ but Jesus say that love we get from God is a testimony to the world. John.17:21. When they see love among Christians they can get saved you understand from this Bible Scripture. We can read in Acts. 2:46 that Christians were breaking bread from house to house. They ate together and had fellowship. We need take that back to the Body of Christ because it has been stolen much from us in the Body of Christ.

Several pastors do not know the father's heart with practical care and compassion because they do not understand just to take a cup of coffee/tea and talk - have fellowship with people and they do not understand the importance of hospitality. A cup of coffee can sometimes save a life for anybody crushed inside and without any friends I think. People can make many mistakes but it is not good when Christian leadership does not understand the importance of this in their thinking.

You must not be bitter or disappointed to this kind of leadership. We are all saved by grace but the sheep are suffering when a pastor/pastor couple have a "money car maybe for a million but the sheep nearly have no food or clothes for their children. Our heavenly Daddy has a lot of love and Christian leaders who have not learned to know God's heart so they understand fellowship and importance of practical care need to get their blind eyes open. I think a real revival is when people who has received Jesus live as they did in Acts as in Acts.2:46.

No one has greater love then anybody giving his life for his FRIENDS, as Jesus says in John.15:13. Jesus showed practical care and had fellowship at the sea in John.21.He likes when we have fellowship -talk with Him and be in his presence -in prayer life. Fellowship with God and fellowship with each other goes hand in hand.

He gave all He had for us - everything for the sheep. He told us in Body of Christ to wash each others feet as I think not just about to be humble but showing care to each other .

Many Christians are wounded today and need love. Also the world is full of people who need love. Sometimes a smile can save a life I think. My favorite chapter is Isaiah.53 because I think about how much Jesus suffered because of love.

You told me about the elderly man who got an visa. I do not have Facebook and I do not know if I will have or not. I did not know that you had at YouTube anything. Will look later. (Love For His People YouTube)

Steve & John Ebenezer from Hyderabad, India

JESUS- YOUR HEART WAS CRUSHED FOR ME

The thorns were many on my way.
Suddenly I fell when I thought it could not be worser...
I thought I were alone and You were in a distant place far away.
Then I realised you had not left me...
You were closer than ever...
You carried me like a precios lamb in your arms...
You saw me - as you counted
my hairs you saw every tear-every drop on my cheeks...
Your drops of blood you had in Gethsemane you had for me -
every drop was in deep pain because you knew
what pain you had to suffer- but you
did it for me.
You did not open your mouth.
Your heart was crushed for me...
