Bob Jones Once Spoke Prophetically That Something Significant Would Occur After 5 Key Leaders Died - LARRY TOMCZAK CHARISMA NEWS

Bob Jones
Bob Jones ( truthrabbit/YouTube)
Each year, about 25 senior Christian leaders attend the Roundtable summit facilitated by Rick Joyner to cultivate friendships, dialogue on today's issues and pray how to best serve those whom we influence. I'm honored to join Steve Strang, Michael Brown, (Ret.) General Jerry Boykin, Lance Wallnau, Wellington Boone, Bob Weiner, Francis Frangipane, Ken Blackwell, Ricky Skaggs, Mahesh and Bonnie Chavda, Janet Porter, Jim Bakker, Tom Hess and others (Mike Bickle and Cindy Jacobs are also often with us.)
Our experience coincided with the death of Billy Graham, whose home was once on the property. Afterwards, numbers went to the Graham Library to join over 13,000 bidding "goodbye" as we quietly filed past his wooden coffin. Bill Clinton and George W. Bush were present earlier; the president and vice president came for the final service; Barack Obama declined any attendance.
The memorial program handed my wife and me at Billy's coffin (crafted by prison inmates), said, "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord ... that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them" (Rev. 14:13, NKJV).
It's amazing how his legacy permeated everything at the preceding Roundtable. What follows is a distillation of five significant themes.
Focal Points
Reflections on Billy Graham
Rejection of biblical absolutes is pandemic yet Billy's personal charge to me four decades ago was recounted for its prophetic significance. He looked me in the eyes and charged me, "Stay in the Book! Stay in the Book!" How relevant in times of Postmodern relativism when "truth is whatever is true for you."
Jim Bakker reminded us of Billy's compassion for the lost, broken and hopeless. "I was in prison for five years, sick, depressed and cleaning toilets when he visited me, threw his arms around me and said, 'Jim, I love you!' Upon my release, Ruth had me speak in their church, then over for lunch with the family."
May our departed "four-star general" stir us up to remain faithful to Scripture and to love others.
Revival of Evangelism
The late Bob Jones once spoke prophetically that something significant would occur after five key leaders died. We recalled four: Oral Roberts, Bill Bright, Kenneth Hagin and now Billy Graham.
Like Elisha with Elijah, there is a "double portion" mantle falling in two strategic areas:
  • Billy's statesman/ambassadorial anointing to reach the 170 easily overlooked nations struggling economically. They are receptive to servant leaders proclaiming the gospel alongside balanced biblical principles of governance removing a poverty mentality and assisting in wealth creation.
  • Billy's passion for every Christian to be personally involved in lifestyle evangelism. "My one purpose in life is to help people find a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. No more procrastination, fatalism and deception regarding everyone engaged in the Great Commission! "Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest?' Listen, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest" (John 4:35).
Anne Graham Lotz stated, "You can't leave it up to Billy Graham to share the gospel anymore! That is our privilege and responsibility to be sharing the gospel with others!"
Honoring the Fathers
Rick Joyner said, "The Third Great Awakening will not come unless we honor the fathers!" Recovery of the high calling of fatherhood in the family and the church is a nonnegotiable.
We're painfully aware of the immorality, violence and lawlessness resulting from fatherlessness. It is a cancer metastasizing in our culture from disobeying the commandment, "Honor your father and your mother" (Matt.15:4a).
The "Elijah" church, hiding in the cave but being called forth, "will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse" (Mal. 4:6).
Billy's relationship with Franklin provides a picture of a son rebelling yet rescued by his father's love. Additionally, Billy's outreach to an alcoholic George W. Bush caused him to rethink his relationship with Jesus, stop drinking then later declare Jesus to be "the person I most admire."
Sons in the home and church need to honor their fathers, recognizing they are "blessed seed." For years, Franklin Graham drove an hour each way to spend weekly time with his dad. One of Donald Trump's strongest examples is that of his children loving him and boldly telling it to a watching world.
Pastors as Courageous Leaders
Michael Brown reminded us that Barna Research showed 90 percent of evangelical Christians want to be equipped on today's issues but only 10 percent of pastors are will do so for fear of losing income and members. The Laodicean church ways must be renounced in our day and pastors must lead the way!
Pastors must recalibrate to speak up and prepare people to speak confidently, and charitably on today's issues. This is why the Bullseye Challenge was endorsed by national leaders as a resource.
We cannot pay tribute to Billy Graham while ignoring his courageous example of addressing controversial issues.
In the '50s he personally removed barriers to integrate the seating in his crusades, confronting racism. In the battle for gay "marriage," he and Franklin defended marriage as between one man and one woman.
Rather than ignore abortion, he emphasized upholding the sanctity of life. Finally, to ensure effective outreach to Muslims he dropped the term "crusade" in his ministry.
In critical times, pastors can no longer see their role as simply a Bible teacher, encourager, or counselor. Revelation 21:8 reveals the first group cast into the lake of fire are "cowardly." Let's heed Billy's challenge, "When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are often stiffened."
Consistent Communion With God
We concluded the Roundtable with prayer and singing the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" led by Tom Hess. Then Rick Joyner charged us, "To enjoy intimacy with Jesus, hear His voice and receive heaven's blueprint for these critical times, we must abide in Him on a daily basis. Revelation 3 reminds us that He is 'knocking' but to those who 'hear My voice and open the door', He comes to inhabit not merely bless."
Having read Billy's autobiography, Just as I Am, I'm convinced that communion with God was central to his 70 years of fruitful and scandal-free ministry. Can't you almost see him bowing, with hands clasped in prayer, as he did at the end of every sermon when he extended the invitation to repent and be born again?
Ronald Reagan said, "It was through Billy Graham that I found myself praying even more than on a daily basis ... to give me the wisdom to make decisions that would serve God and be pleasing to Him."
From the Roundtable, there are other issues to highlight, perhaps in another article. Maybe it's best to pause and emulate Billy's example, clasp our hands in prayer and simply celebrate the life of this humble servant who now beholds his beloved Jesus face to face.

Cindy Jacobs: Prophetically, America Is at a Tipping Point

CHARISMA NEWS
"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people" (Prov. 14:34).
When the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders met in November 2015, I asked them, "Do you have a word about the elections?" In my opinion, this strategic gathering that includes some of the most respected prophets in the United States is a highlight for my year.
We prayed and listened to the Lord. The only thing He said to us was that He was preparing a patriot for the nation, and, if we prayed, that person would win the elections. It was frustrating!
However, God had admonished us to pray for just such a person, and pray we did.
This was puzzling, as we have received very accurate and broad-sweeping prophecies in the past. For instance, we were shown that the E.U. would fragment. We were told the U.S. dollar would remain a haven for investors and, in the midst of worldwide shaking, it remained so.  Then, we were shown that economy of Europe would shake and while this would affect the U.S., we would not have 2008 meltdown. This is not to say that the nation will never see that in the future. Frankly, it depends on our prayers.
In personally seeking God as to the "why" He wasn't more specific with us, I realized He had already spoken! We need to see which candidate most lined up with biblical values. The Word of God tells us that righteousness exalts a nation and sin is a reproach. I realize that to use the biblical word, "sin," is not politically correct. This is because even the church has become a bastion of cultural relativism. The more preferred words are, messed up" or "shouldn't have done it." Some even go so far as to say the word "sin" is offensive to sinners!
I believe that such things as abortion, the murder of the unborn in the womb, are offensive to God. Other things like lying and stealing are forbidden as part of God's rules! Therefore, we need to vote accordingly. I also realize that the president is not a "pastor-in-chief," but a commander-in-chief. Still, we need to look at what policies the candidate will advocate and the outcome of those policies.
What does this have to do with the election and why can't I just refuse to vote because I they are not the candidates I would have chosen? If I may digress for a moment, God placed us on earth to be its stewards. We are to disciple nations. To do so includes the need to see that it becomes a nation that God deems righteous. To abstain from the political process and not participate in the process is to advocate this role to others. This comes down to this statement for me-voting is a spiritual exercise.
In order to see that righteousness exalts our nation, we have to vote. Prophetically, I believe we are at a tipping point. We have already lost a large measure of the greatness that God gave the United States to be salt and light in the Earth. I know, because Mike and I travel around the world and listen to people say this very thing in nation after nation. My heart grows heavy when I hear this discussed and I am frankly embarrassed before God. Of course, I know God loves every nation and every one has a unique, important role. However, I love my nation too! God purposed me to be an American.
It may be that God is not speaking to me about a particular candidate and is using others instead. That could very well be. There is one thing that I do know! It is time to pray and act!
Faith without works is dead! If we want a righteous nation our faith must be in the voting booth as well as a church building.
We have to look at the candidates, even though there are flawed, and vote for the ones that will establish righteousness for the unborn, fight against poverty and racism and biblical, foundational truth. God is not for a political party. They are all flawed. However, there are certain candidates who will fight for our religious freedoms and biblical values such as life in the womb.
Perhaps we do not need another word because He already given it and we only need to read the Lawgiver's Manuel and vote our biblical conscious.

‘The Voice’ Contestant Prophetically Declares Power of Jesus - THE RADICALS

‘The Voice’ Contestant Prophetically Declares Power of Jesus

Honoring Jesus, one word at a time…
The Voice has its fair share of Pentecostals sharing their faith through performance, with Paxton Ingram joining the line up.
The Team Blake contestant didn’t hesitate to declare the power behind the name of Jesus in his latest performance.
Those are some powerful vocals, and Paxton Ingram killed it!
It’s really refreshing to see how some are using their 15 minutes to hype up the Lord rather than sing a song about a relationship gone haywire, isn’t it?
That’s not to say Ingram won’t find success, but the music business is one of the craziest out there.
All the best, Paxton!
Side note: how awesome is the name Paxton?

The Blood Moons: Prophetically Discerning Times and Seasons - DOUG STRINGER - CHARISMA MAGAZINE

The Blood Moons: Prophetically Discerning Times and Seasons

Much attention has been given in the church, as well as in the media, to the "blood moon" that occurred during the recent Passover/Easter season.
This blood moon, along with the three other lunar eclipses scheduled to occur during Jewish feasts in 2014-2015, has fueled conversation about whether we are entering into a new season of the end times, as referenced in the book of Joel: "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (2:31-32).
I won't try to speculate about dates and times of the Lord's return; however, I will say that I agree with many other voices that these blood moons should serve as a signpost for the body of Christ to awaken and understand the season into which we are entering.
As the Bible tells us in Genesis 1:14-15, the sun, moon and stars are not merely to give light to the earth or to mark days and years. They are also to serve as "signs and seasons." If God wants to speak to His people and give warning to the earth about a changing spiritual season, signs in the heavens are one of the means He has designated to do so.
So, just what is the season we have entered? What kinds of days are ahead of us? The passage in Joel quoted above suggests that the blood moon is a sign pointing to the great and awesome day of the Lord. There are countless scriptures we can look to for learning about the day of the Lord, but I will summarize with this statement: the coming of the day of the Lord means that time is short. The Lord is coming soon. Whether it is in five, 15, or 50 years, the Lord is coming soon.
A Dual Season
For those separated from Christ, or living a life of lukewarm or compromised Christianity, the blood moons bring a season of warning. Their message is one of urgency, to prepare and to turn your heart to the Lord while there is time.
For those who are in Christ, His coming is glorious news. Our salvation is drawing near and the great harvest of souls prophesied in scripture is coming. The message of the blood moons is to prepare for harvest, and to beckon all men to call upon the name of the Lord.
Yes, this is a dual season—of warning and of harvest. Of soberness and of celebration. Of preparation and of action.
A Season of Warning
Throughout the nine-day period this last April that included Palm Sunday, Passover, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Holy Spirit was speaking to me about the season ahead.
The message I heard was out of Jeremiah 12:5: "If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, how will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?"
The question I heard the Holy Spirit asking was, "If the church can't keep up with the footmen, how will they keep up with the horsemen? If you can't walk in victory in a land of peace and safety, what will you do when the shaking really begins?"
For days, this phrase was burning in my spirit: The horsemen are coming, the horsemen are coming, the horsemen are coming.
How do horsemen differ from footmen? They're faster. The coming of the horsemen speaks to an acceleration. The signs that we see around us— blood moons, weather phenomena, wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes that shake the earth so violently it is literally moved on its axis—these all are part of the same process. Things are accelerating.
Just as labor pangs increase and accelerate as a woman approaches her time to give birth, so are the pains and groaning of the earth accelerating as the time of the Lord's return approaches. And what is the earth groaning for?
The revealing of the sons of God.
A Season of Harvest
Both the Apostle Peter and the Apostle Paul quoted the passage in Joel chapter 2 that speaks of the blood moon and the coming day of the Lord. In Acts 2, the Apostle Peter quoted from Joel 2:32, ending with these words, "And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." The Apostle Paul referenced this same portion of scripture in the famous "Romans road" salvation scriptures.
Romans 10:9-10,13 says this: "If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;  for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation...for 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' " So we see that Joel chapter 2 points not only to a season of warning, but also to a season of harvest. The blood moon points to a day of salvation!
Hebrews 11 tells us that it was by divine warning that Noah built an ark. In dark days and in a time of judgment, Noah's ark became an instrument of salvation. This is the calling of the Church. In a season of divine warning, we are to prepare an ark—an ark of redemption and an ark of His presence. An ark that will be an instrument of salvation in a time of judgment!
In dark days, it is the children of light who will point many to Christ. As the sons of God are revealed, the earth's salvation is near (Romans 8:19-22). Our assignment in this season is simple: to warn and to gather souls. Just as animals were gathered and brought into the ark, so the Spirit of God is gathering souls to be brought into an ark of refuge.
Lift Jesus Higher, Lift Jesus Higher!
As the horsemen approach and the storm clouds gather, our message should be this: "Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved!" God has given us the privilege of drawing others to Him. As we lift Jesus higher, proclaiming His name, He will draw all men to Himself. The great harvest of souls is coming!
Second Corinthians 5:18-19 tells us we are ministers of reconciliation. So we must remember in the season of divine warning that our calling is not to bring judgment and condemnation, but to prepare an ark that will save from that judgment and condemnation. It's easy to call out warnings about all the evil we see around us. But it's a lot more work to be an ark builder. Might I be so bold to say, if you are not actively preparing for a harvest of salvation, then maybe the warning is for you!
Remember His Covenant, Examine Your Heart
As I write this, it is now the Feast of Pentecost, also known as Shavuot, or the Festival of Weeks. This feast, along with Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread (recently passed in April) and the Feast of Tabernacles which occurs in the September/October time frame, are times of remembrance and examination for the people of Israel. They are a time to remember God's covenant and His faithfulness, and to examine where the people stand in relation to God, both as individuals and as a nation.
God has been faithful to us. He is committed to us. His promises are yes and amen in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). As we remember this—as we remember His faithfulness, His covenant and His promises—let us examine our hearts. Are we faithful to Him? Are we committed to Him? Do we honor Him with our lips, while our hearts are far from Him (Isaiah 29:13)? Let us humble ourselves before Him in this season of warning. Let our hearts be quick to heed His call. Let our lives be first to reap a harvest of righteousness.
It is only when our lives are in alignment with Him that we can be positioned as those who will herald His coming. It is only when the warning is no longer for our own hearts that we can be those who effectively labor in the fields of harvest. So, in this dual season of warning and harvest, may we be single-minded in our focus, our purpose and our covenant with Him.

God is Moving - We Are at the Beginning of Something Beyond Anything We've Ever Seen - Robert Hotchkin

Robert Hotchkin:
God is Moving - We Are at the
Beginning of Something
Beyond Anything We've Ever Seen
(The Elijah List)

All around the world the Body of Christ can feel the stirrings of a great move of God. We are at the beginning of something awesome, something global, something beyond anything we have ever seen. For years now, we have been believing for it, praying into it, and declaring it.

God is moving. The key for the Body in this hour, is to discover how to move with Him and follow Him into all He has for us.

It may sound simple: We pray for God to move, He begins to move, we move with Him. But actually the early stages of a move of God can be the most challenging part. So often when God begins to move the response of the Body is not, "Yay! God is moving!" but instead, "Hey! God where did You go?!"

Seeing New Aspects of His Fullness

A move of God by definition involves God moving. Which means we may not "find" Him exactly where (or how) we have in the past – because He is doing a new thing. Mind you, He is not changing, God never changes (Malachi 3:6). He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). But He loves to reveal more of Himself to us in greater and greater depths and dimensions so that we can know more of Him (and thus make more of Him known to the world around us).

Often the way He does this is by blessing us with a season where He seems to not be doing things (or even meeting with us) the way He has in the past. He does not stop being who He "has been," but He adds to our revelation of all that He is by helping us see new aspects of His fullness.

He woos us into a greater revelation of all He is by leading us from the comfort zone of what we have already come to know of Him.

Think of the Israelites in the desert. They knew the Lord as Deliverer, the One who brought them up out of Egypt. And now He was leading them – cloud by day, fire by night – across the wilderness into all He had spoken to them of in the Promised Land. Day by day the Israelites learned to look for and follow the presence of the Lord. Sometimes, for days, He would remain in one place with them, helping them to see and know Him as Provider, Healer, or some other aspect of I AM.

Cloud by DayBut then a day would come when the cloud would move. The Israelites had to be in active relationship with the Lord to realize He was not "where" He had been; they had to be looking for the cloud of His presence each day. When the cloud moved they had to trust that He was still with them and seek where He had moved to, so that they could follow.

It is the same for us today. God is moving. The key to following Him into all He is bringing us into begins with us trusting that – even if we are not finding Him where He "was," He is still present. After all, He never leaves us nor forsakes us (Hebrews 13:5-6).

God is wooing the Body right now in a powerful way. There is a great grace for increased intimacy and relationship with Him – a great grace to know Him in new ways and follow Him into new depths.

A Place of Song of Solomon

Prophetically speaking, I believe we are in a place similar to the end of Song of Solomon 2 and the beginning of Song of Solomon 3.

In Song of Solomon 2, the Lover is wooing His Beloved to a new place in verse 10, "Rise up, my beloved, my fair one, and come away," he invites. He then goes on to declare that "the winter is past…the flowers are springing up, and the time of singing birds has come…the fig trees are budding, and the grapevines are in blossom," and then he repeats his invitation for her to arise and come away with him (Song of Solomon 2:13).

God's Arrow of LoveThe Lover is announcing that it is a new hour, a new season, and that he has new things to show her, new places to take her, new heights for them to soar to together.

She is hearing him on some level (SoS 2:8), and yet at the beginning of Song of Solomon 3 we see that while she is yearning for her Lover, she is still reaching out for him where she has always found him – and discovers that he is no longer there (SoS 3:1).

She has a choice to make. She can continue to search for him where he has been, or she can respond to the invitation to arise and step into the uncertainty of the unknown, discovering him in new places and in new ways (SoS 3:2-4).

She chooses the latter, and in doing so embarks on a journey with her Lover in which she comes to know him, rely on him, and lean into him to such a degree that she is completely transformed – so much so that her peers do not even recognize her when she returns (SoS 8:5).

Like in the Song of Solomon, we have entered into a new season.

The Lord is beckoning us, wooing us, inviting us to come away from where we have been and arise into a new place with Him – a place of greater revelation and demonstration of all that He is.

If you have noticed lately that things seem different, or you're not quite finding God "how" or "where" you have in the past, do not despair; do not be discouraged. He is simply answering your prayers. He is moving. He is inviting you to come along with Him.

Arise Beloved!

Prayer Directives:

So let's pray this for the Body of Christ:

1. Our hearts will be fully His, and we will follow where He is leading.

2. We will discern the times, know His intentions, hear His voice, and follow His lead.

God's Arrow of Love3. We will value what has been and all that He has done to date, but we will also be excited and expectant about what He is doing and what is breaking forth in the earth.

4. None will be left behind, and all will hear and respond to His invitation to arise and come away with Him into this new time, this new season, this new move.

5. That we will love one another as He loves us, so even if some respond to His beckoning at a different pace or in different ways than we do, we will respond in love and with encouragement.

6. And most of all, that the fullness of what He has planned for this season will come forth and that He will receive all the glory and all He is due!

Ahava Love Letter - "Chain Link Made Strong"

"Chain Link Made Strong"

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” (Eph. 6:10 NKJV)

Dear family of friends,

Recently I received a prophetic word of encouragement. During these past two years of awaiting a transition into a new season, I was growing weary of the journey. I needed to hear from the Lord.

Here is a response from Him, through a prophetically gifted man,

“Son, I am making things strong again. I really saw this chain link and it was weak. When it was pulled it was almost to the point of ripping and breaking, like a chain link. You could tell it was very weak in nature. God began to show me that it was about to be strengthened, it was about to be hardened, to be fortified to the place where it can’t be broken.

And I asked the Lord concerning you, what is this I am seeing? And God began to show me that the chain link represents your life. It represents things in your life, overwhelming stress, of the decision making you had to go through recently, and all the different things you having to face, and God says, “Son I am making you strong. I’m giving you the strength and the momentum of the power and the presence of My Holy Spirit to begin to go forward and make this thing happen.”

“Son you are strong in the Lord, in the power of My might. You are at the head and not the tail. You are above and not beneath. You are a man of virtue, a man of strength, a man of power. The Lord began to show me that you are going to begin to experience in this next season even the strength to be creative enough to start a new move, to start a new thing, if you will.”

“Son, you are alive in Me. You are strong in Me. Don’t look at yourself and say, “Lord, but I don’t have the capabilities, the means, the funds, to do a journey, to do a destiny, to make something happen, to even invest money, to even do any of this stuff.”

“Yes you can. You are strong in the Lord and the power of My might. You can do exceedingly abundantly above all that your old nature, your old man couldn’t do. That’s what I do in you. I do the exceedingly, abundantly above all that you are able to ask or think. Therefore if I am in you that means you can do exceedingly abundantly above all the old nature, the person you once was did, because now you are a different person, you are a changed person.”

Receiving encouragement along the way can certainly help us keep going along the way. I pray your journey is one marked with signs of His blessing, as your road continues forward.
