On Inauguration Day, some thoughts on Obama’s disastrous legacy, the Trump-Pence approach towards Israel & the Arab world, and prayers for safety.

Today is Inauguration Day in Washington. As the nations watch the world's oldest democracy in action, let us pray for the safe and peaceful transition of power.

Let us pray the Lord shows great mercy to the American people by granting wisdom and discernment to the new President and Vice President and their families and team. America is in trouble. She is on the wrong track. She is at risk of implosion. A great turnaround is needed spiritually, politically, economically, and militarily. Americans, and the world, need this new administration to get the country back on track, to steer in the right direction, to stand tall with our allies and confront our enemies.

An encouraging note: I understand that Mike Pence will be taking the oath of office on President Ronald Reagan's Bible, and that the Bible will be open to 2 Chronicles 7:14. Good for him. This is one of my favorite verses, and one we need to embrace.

"If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land," said the Lord.

To be clear: this verse is not a promise to America. It's actually a promise to Israel, and one I pray all my fellow Israelis will embrace. But 2 Chronicles 7:14 is based on a principle that is echoed in Jeremiah 18:8 for all nations. "If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned," said the Lord. God wants the people of every nation to turn to Him for forgiveness, wisdom and blessing, and if a nation says yes to Him, He promises to be gracious. Let's say yes to that wonderful offer.

At the same time, let us pray for the Lord to show mercy on the outgoing President and his family. I believe Barack Obama has done great damage to our country and our world. This damage needs to be identified, corrected, and healed, and lessons learned. But I don't wish the Obamas ill will. I want the Lord to be very gracious to this couple and their daughters and draw them close to Him in their post-White House life.

A few thoughts as we make this transition from one administration to the next:

The world order is more unstable and dangerous than at any time since the peak of the Cold War.
The United States has been badly weakened -- the national debt is soaring, the people are bitterly divided, our alliances are severely strained, our enemies find themselves emboldened.
The Middle East is on fire -- Iran is ascendant and increasingly aggressive, the Islamic State is engaged in genocide, Syria is imploding, Christians and other minorities are being slaughtered, and threats against Israel are steadily mounting.
The strategic situation facing Israel is a conundrum, actually -- on the one hand the Jewish State is stronger economically, technologically, and militarily than at any time since here prophetic rebirth as a sovereign state in 1948. On the other hand, global forces are working hard to isolate and delegitimize Israel.
Far too many liberals in the academia and the media are engaged in a relentless assault against Israel's morality and legitimacy, all of which is having a deleterious effect.
At the same time, I regard this plummeting support for Israel among liberals and young people that I discussed in yesterday's Jerusalem Post column as part of President Obama’s disastrous legacy on foreign policy.
Yes, I readily agree that Mr. Obama did some good things vis-a-vis Israel, including supporting Iron Dome and the sale of F-35s to Israel and agreeing to the recent Memorandum of Understanding on US-Israeli defense cooperation. For this we are and should be grateful.
But let's be honest: far too often, Mr. Obama was castigating Israel as the major problem in the Middle East rather than supporting her as America’s most important and faithful ally. Mr. Obama was routinely far more belligerent with Israeli leaders than with the leaders of Iran or North Korea, China or Russia. Mr. Obama and his senior advisors repeatedly expressed derision and disdain for Israel's democratically elected leaders and policies while showing unbelievable deference to America's enemies.
"Do not be deceived," say the Scriptures. "God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." (Galatians 6:7) Over the past eight years, the Obama administration has sown doubt and disrespect towards Israel. Now we are reaping bitter fruit.
That said, I am not discouraged. While I honestly have no idea how to change liberal views towards Israel (apart from prayer and leading them to Christ), I believe we can educate and influence Independents and Millennials about the strategic value of Israel as a faithful and trustworthy ally and friend. And we can -- and must-- work especially with Christian Millennials to help them learn what the Bible teaches about God's love and plan for Israel and the Jewish people.
At the same time, we need to make sure we show respect and friendship to the Palestinian people. After all, we want there to be real and lasting peace and security between Israel and the Palestinians. We want the Palestinian people to have wise and courageous leaders who will end the incitement of hatred and violence, root out corruption, establish security and the rule of law, create an environment of economic growth and job creation, and will sit down and really work together with Israel to build a better future. Let's not be cynics. Blessed be the peacemakers. Let us pray and work to this end.
At the same time, we also need to show respect and friendship to our other friends and allies in the Sunni Arab world. Wanting a healthier US-Israel alliance is not a zero sum game. Yes, we need to pray for and actively encourage the new administration and Congress to stand strongly with Israel on a bipartisan basis. But we also want our leaders to actively reaffirm our alliances with Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, the Gulf States and other key allies in the region.
Indeed, we need to pray for and encourage the President and his administration to choose to build on the encouraging if quiet strategic alliances that are being developed between Israel and many Sunni Arab states, in part because they have serious common enemies in Iran and the Islamic State.
We also want the President and his administration to speak accurately and respectfully about Islam -- to help the American people understand the threat posed both by Radical and Apocalyptic elements within the Muslim world, but also to help them understand that the vast majority of Muslims (90% or so) are not violent, not support of jihad or extremism, and can be friends and allies if we engage them respectfully.
I'm encouraged that President Trump and Vice President Pence have repeatedly indicated their intention to reaffirm the importance of a strong, healthy US-Israel alliance, and that they see the Obama legacy on Israel and throughout the Mideast as unhealthy and even harmful.
I'm encouraged by most of the President's picks for his national security team. Overall, it's a very smart and experienced team. They have good relations both with Israel and Sunni Arab leaders. They see the significant threats posed by Iran and ISIS and they seem committed to confronting both. Most of them rightly see Vladimir Putin as a serious threat to US national security and believe in a reinvigorated NATO alliance. They want to rebuild the American military and American alliances around the world. They provide a much needed breath of fresh air and hope for a new beginning.
Getting American economic, domestic and foreign policy back on the right track will not be quick or easy. There will be moments of frustration, discouragement and dismay. But let us be prayerful and patient and let us trust the grace and sovereignty of the Lord each and every day. After all, we are in His hands, and they are good, strong, faithful hands.

Like Clinton’s Campaign, Will The Much-Hyped Inauguration Protests End Up Being A Giant Failure For The Left?

Over the past couple of months, the radical left has been endlessly hyping the protests against Donald Trump on January 20th and January 21st. We have been told that half the population absolutely hates Donald Trump and that Washington D.C. will be filled with angry protesters that are ready to take their country back.

So where are they? The radical left tends to talk a good game, but when it comes time for action they often come up way short. At this point, it appears that the much-hyped “war in the streets” that they were promising is going to be a giant dud.

Reports from those on the scene in D.C. indicate that there are very few protesters running around. Yes, a few hundred LGBT activists danced in front of Mike Pence’s home on Wednesday night. And yes, police fired pepper spray at protesters at one point on Thursday night…

Police and anti-Donald Trump protesters are clashing in a rally that began outside the Trump International Hotel in Washington D.C.
The protest started at the hotel, and then marched through D.C. to the National Press Club several blocks away. Once there … pepper spray was fired into the crowd, and protesters started trying to break through police lines.

One protester got a little bloody during the pepper spray incident, but so far that has been it.

So where are the “Ferguson-style protests” that we were promised?

Of course the truth is that these radical leftists never stood much of a chance in the first place. Law enforcement authorities have been watching them like a hawk, and the heart of Washington D.C. has been turned into a “fortress” for the inaugural festivities.

According to Reuters, permits have been granted for at least 30 anti-Trump rallies in D.C., but so far it appears that the “army of protesters” that many were dreaming of has failed to materialize.

And the authorities in D.C. appear quite ready to handle whatever is thrown their way. Numerous media reports today used the term “fortress” to describe the level of security immediately surrounding the U.S. Capitol…

About 28,000 security personnel, miles of fencing, roadblocks, street barricades and dump trucks laden with sand are part of the security cordon around 3 square miles (almost 8 square km) of central Washington.

But even at this late hour, the mainstream media continues to hype the possibility of chaos and violence. For example, the National Press Photographers Association is warning of Ferguson-style rioting on Friday…

The National Press Photographers Association has issued guidelines to journalists that virtually mirror those sent out during the Ferguson riots in 2014.

Reporters are advised to “maintain situational awareness” and have “an exit plan in case the situation becomes hostile”.

The group also emphasizes that journalists should “move toward the nearest police officer under the assumption that they could protect you from hostile or violent protesters.”

Other mainstream media outlets have been openly discussing the possibility of some sort of catastrophic terror attack during the Inauguration. If you can believe it, the Today Show actually spent time talking about the possibility that a drone bombing could happen while Trump is being inaugurated…

The media is raising concerns about a drone bombing at the 58th Presidential Inauguration on Friday.
On Thursday’s “Today” show, a report indicated that U.S. Secret Service has put in place several anti-drone efforts out of concern that an I-inspired “flying IED” will smash into the crowd, or worse.
The report quoted an official from DroneShield, a drone countermeasure firm, saying that the Inauguration “is not something I would feel safe at.”

Did you ever hear these sorts of reports just prior to Obama’s inaugurations?

Of course not.

It is almost as if some in the mainstream media are actually trying to incite violence. For instance, CNN is being loudly criticized for running a Wolf Blitzer report that suggested that someone from the Obama administration could become president if Donald Trump and Mike Pence were both “wiped out” at the Inauguration. The following comes from Breitbart…

Blitzer introduced the segment, saying, “What if an incoming president and his immediate successors were wiped out on day one?” and from there, CNN contributor Brian Todd took over to outline the line of succession if an attack blew up the inaugural dais, killing both Trump and Pence.
The upshot was that in the case of both heads of state being killed, the Secretary of State would take over. Currently that man is Secretary of State John Kerry, But in case some objected because his office would also end as of noon on Inauguration Day, then it would be the Speaker of the House — Republican Paul Ryan — or even Obama’s Under Secretary for Political Affairs Tom Shannon.

Why talk about such a thing?

By airing this on national television just before the Inauguration, CNN is potentially giving sick and twisted people ideas that they would not have otherwise considered. If you have not seen this deeply disturbing report yet, you can view it on YouTube right here…

And the international media is openly talking about the possibility of something happening to Trump as well. The following example comes from Egypt…

“The really scary confrontation will come after Trump launches a campaign to purge the U.S. government ministries, including the Department of Defense, [i.e.,] the Pentagon, [and to eliminate] the gangs that hide within the intelligence and security agencies that are the hub of global conspiracies, in order to remove Democrats and replace them with Republicans he trusts,” writes Hani ‘Asl, a columnist for the Egyptian government daily Al-Ahram.
“In these [circles] there may be someone who will try to eliminate the problem [called Trump] with a single bullet in order to protect their interests and gladden Obama and Hillary, [perhaps] even under the slogan of defending democracy and the U.S.”

Without a doubt, there are many among the elite that absolutely hate Trump. So let us pray for his safety and for the safety of everyone that will be attending the Inauguration.

January 20th is the start of a new day for America, and it should be a time of great celebration for the entire country. Unfortunately, there are some people out there that would very much like to rain on our parade, and let us hope that all of their efforts are completely foiled.

Israel Makes Wish Come True for Gaza Girl Suffering From Cancer

This story happened a couple months back, but we are quite certain that amidst all the bashing of Israel, the mainstream Western media ignored it completely.

Little Aya is suffering from advanced leukemia. Back in August of last year, she was given a permit, along with her mother, to travel from Gaza to Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem to receive the care she needs.

After three months of tests and treatment, including intensive chemotherapy, little Aya had just one wish - to go to the beach again.

The “Make a Wish Ambulance” from Israel’s Magen David Adom rescue service happily made that wish come true.

They took Aya and her mother for a day of sun, waves and pizza along the beaches of Tel Aviv. Then it was back to Jerusalem for continued treatment.

All Aya’s mother wishes is for her little girl to get better. And there, too, Israel is doing all it can to make her wish come true.

This is the real Israel. The Israel that isn’t afraid to fight, but also loves and cares for its enemies. The Israel that, given the opportunity, wants nothing more than to live in peace and harmony with its Arab neighbors.

I sense something in the air. It's as though heaven is descending a little lower to earth.

The prince of the power of the air is being divinely interfered with and massively interrupted. I heard heaven proclaim, "The time has come to redeem the airwaves covering the earth and begin to impact the media to become a conduit to pour out My Spirit upon all flesh!"

I then saw angels begin to anoint satellite stations and dishes above the earth. And on the Earth, angels were descending upon huge television and radio towers. Great heavenly broadcasting interference was about to come upon the Earth.

Angels were being assigned to billboards, newspapers and nationwide magazines. Even addresses of pornographic empires were being given to angels for assignments.

Airwaves Used to Announce Outpouring

Anything the angels could get their hands on was about to be used to make noise and alert people about the coming of a great outpouring of God's Spirit and love coming to earth. Computer online services would feel the weight of God's glory impacting them.

Divine favor was being given to many ministries with the media this coming year of 2017 to go nationwide and worldwide.

A hunger for the supernatural and the miraculous caused television and radio talk shows to open up for testimonies of genuine healings and heavenly visitations that would be broadcast around the world. News reporters were beginning to lean toward unusual stories of awesome happenings that were leaving their listeners spellbound with the idea that "There must be a God in heaven."

I sense the Father saying. "I will use even the air itself to testify of my power and might. From shore to shore, I will become the desire of the nations!"

Word of the Lord for 2017

I started giving the "Word of the Lord for the year" in 1988. It was originally intended for Christian International Ministers. However, in the late 1990s, Cindy Jacobs and I, and several others, started the International Round Table of Prophets. After that we started giving a more corporate word.

Psalm 110:3 says, "Your people will be volunteers in the day of Your power." Or the NIV says, "Your troops will be willing on your day of battle."

Right now, God is searching for soldiers of the Cross who are willing to volunteer for God's WWIII offensive army. Jesus is looking for those who have level-four heart soil (Mt. 13:23), which have been purged from all weed-seed attitudes. They are righteous and fearless, for they have attained to level three of the overcomers—"They love not their lives unto death" (Rev. 12:11). God is going to give them His mighty strength (2 Chron. 16:9).

Jesus, as Commander-in-Chief of His army, is coming to put His mighty warrior anointing upon them to destroy the powers of darkness and demonstrate God's Kingdom throughout the earth.

Revelation 3:7-13:
Letter to Philadelphia Church

• Open Doors (see verse 7): The Lord is saying, "I who am Holy and True, am also He who shuts and no one opens, and opens and no one shuts. I know your works, SEE, I HAVE SET BEFORE YOU AN OPEN DOOR! And NO One can shut it!"

In 2017, we have an Open Door: Opportunities never had before. The only judgment in this letter is if we do not go through the Open Door set before us.

• Open Heaven (see Deut. 28:12): If we are diligently obeying the "Voice of the Lord" then we have the blessings (vs. 1-14) and not the curses (vs. 15-68). The voice of Lord includes Logos, Rhema and personal prophecy.

• Open Earth: In the USA, we have been given earthly, legal and natural opportunities to arise and shine as the Church.

• Verse 7 continued: "Who has the Key of David." The Key of David has three notches that unlock Christ's purposes and provisions: 1. Spirit of Revelation. 2.Worship. 3. Warfare.

• Revelation: David had tremendous amount of revelation as revealed in his Psalms. David never had many visions, dreams or angelic visitations, but he had prophetic revelation more than any other.

• Worship: Worship to God was a love and passion of David. He knew the power and purposes of praise. He had the revelation that God inhabits our praise and is enthroned in power for us (Ps.22:3). (Pre-prayers of Jesus.) (Photo via Flickr)

• Warfare: David and Joshua are the two greatest Biblical warriors and generals in God's army. General Joshua fought with his army and conquered Canaan for Israel's inheritance and national home land. David fought with his army, extending Israel's inheritance to its full borders as God promised to Abraham (Gen.15:18). In 2017, we are to war against our enemies until we fulfill our personal prophecies and possess our full inheritance.

• Joshua Generation: God is raising up a Joshua generation with the Key of David to fulfill all of God's prophetic promises to Israel and His Beloved Church.

• War Angels: David learned how to co-labor with General Michael and his war angels in his warfare against his enemies (2 Sam.5:22-25). This is the day of God's power, and His chosen ones are volunteering to be warriors in God's WWIII.

Psalm 103:20-21 declares that God's angels excel in strength and heed the voice of the Lord and those Saints who speak for their Commander-In-Chief, Jesus Christ. David is the only man that the Bible declares that he was a man after God's own heart. We can be both God-loving worshipers and bold and fearless warriors.

• Verse 8: "You have kept My word, and have not denied My Name." This reveals that we have not forsaken any restored truth and have maintained a balance in the truths of God. For 30 years, we have not denied His name as Prophet and Apostle, but have boldly declared and demonstrated that Jesus is still ministering in His Church as Prophet and Apostle. We are now manifesting Jesus as the Mighty Warrior and the Lord of Hosts/Armies.

• Verse 9: God is separating the Sheep from the Goats. He is going to favor those He approves as His Sheep and make the goats acknowledge that we are God's true Sheep. God is going to start vindicating His own.

• Verse 10: This verse will be made a reality before the end of 2018. The world is going to be tested by the threat of a natural WWIII being activated with the potential of nuclear warfare. If we have persevered in Christ-like living and doing spiritual warfare for God's purposes, "He shall keep us from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world to test those who dwell upon the earth."

• Verse 11: "Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown."Crown represents your calling and ministry in Christ. Regardless of the persecution by the worldly church and the ungodly, maintain your calling regardless of the cost. (Memorize Romans 8:18.)

• Verse 12: If we overcome, Jesus will make us a permanent fixture (pillar) in the Temple of His God. Jesus will write on us the name of His God and His new name. That means He will not allow us to miss out on any new thing that He shall do with His Church on the earth and in Heaven. (Photo via Pixabay)

• Verse 13: We must have open spiritual ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church in 2017.

Trump Pick for UN Envoy Nikki Haley Slams ‘Long History of Anti-Israel Bias’

South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for ambassador to the United Nations, harshly criticized the world body over its “long history of anti-Israel bias” in testimony Wednesday to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Haley was also highly critical of President Barack Obama’s decision to refuse to veto last month’s U.N. Security Council resolution condemning Israel for its settlement policy, which she called a “terrible mistake.” She pledged to reject future U.N. measures that unfairly target the Jewish state.

Haley said she will not go to the U.N. and “abstain when the U.N. seeks to create an international environment that encourages boycotts of Israel.” She also said she is “absolutely” in favor of the U.S. moving its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

You are called to change the outcome of someone's day today. Serve the unlovely with your full capacity and with your full heart.

This is the day I have made for you to serve My people and My angels I will send your way.
